Sadly it’s been almost 12 months since I’ve updated that one, and I don’t like to keep you guys pissed off for too long. I was thinking of not continuing it, b/c the writing style is totally different and not many people liked it. But I have some ideas that I want to put out into the world of fanfic, so if your interested please R&R that one too. It’ll be updated soon, so you don’t have to worry about waiting 6 months…haha. I’m warning you ahead of time though, this fic has people either loving it or hating it, no in betweens, it’s all based on personal preferences. So read with that in mind, and no matter how you feel leave a review, I can handle flames, it’s ok, I’m big now. RECAP:
“You don’t know anything!” Kagome yelled out frantically, “I’m a boy, and you can’t prove otherwise…I‘d like to see you tr-” Kagome was abruptly interrupted as she felt her back hit the side of her cabin. The air was knocked out of her chest and she squeezed her eyes shut. Once she had regained herself, she opened her eyes only to see Sesshomaru inches from her face, his much larger body blocking any means of escape.
“I accept your offer, Kago, I will challenge you and prove you wrong,” Sesshomaru whispered seductively. As soon as the words flowed gracefully from his mouth, he began nuzzling Kagome’s neck, carpeting her in luxury. She moaned as his hands moved upwards caressing her torso. Her mind was muddled by Sesshomaru’s skills. But then she felt his clawed grasp her breast she realized what was happening. Her eyes grew large and she tried to push him away.
“S-s-stop.”
“I’m just proving you wrong, you asked for this, no? And aren’t you enjoying yourself wench?”
“Please,” Kagome pleaded softly, “I have a mission I must accomplish, nobody can no my secret. Please! Not even your brother.” Kagome thought to herself in panic, ‘This must be what Kaede warned me about! She didn’t want me to have this kind of relationship with the man who is to help me. I can’t let this happen.’
“Don’t worry little one, I would never tell my brother, I enjoy watching the idiot suffer,” Sesshomaru stated matter-of-factly. He then proceeded to lower his lips towards Kagome’s. Not knowing what else to do she called out, “NOOO!! Inu Ya-”
But her words were once more cut off. This time as Sesshomaru captured her lips and trapped her hands above her head. Holding her captive he began to deepen his kiss, and Kagome moaned in a mix of pleasure and fear against his mouth. From behind them, Kagome heard a deep growl. Sesshomaru removed his lips and released Kagome allowing her to see where the noise was coming from. To her horror, standing in the open doorway was Inu Yasha, with narrowing red eyes, he growled threateningly.

Chapter 6: Traitorous Intentions
Inu Yasha continued to growl threateningly and Kagome struggled to find words to explain what was happening without giving away her secret.
“I…”
“You what?!?” Inu Yasha growled from the depths of his throat.
“…” Hearing no response from Kagome he looked to his brother and was further infuriated by the smirk that had splayed itself across his lips. After a few more moments Inu Yasha’s expressions turned to one of sadness and then just as quickly to one of disgust. He turned on his heel and walked out, leaving Kagome open mouth not knowing what to do.
“Inu Ya-”
“Do whatever you want, boy, I don’t care. Sesshomaru, you dishonor our family, I have nothing more to say to you. You had better be off father’s ship by tonight or I will have your head.”
“Does it really bother you that much brother?” Sesshomaru said slyly, letting each word drip off his tongue as he relished the moment of his brother’s utter confusion. “Are you jealous perhaps? Jealous that I took your lad right from under you?”
“Keh.” Inu Yasha muttered as he walked away in anger towards his cabin. ‘What the hell do I care for anyway? The stupid boy already betrayed my trust. I should have known he liked other men, he looks like a freakin girl anyway. Damn it. Why is this getting to me? This is almost as bad as when Ki-’
Inu Yasha’s thought process was interrupted as a large demonic bird came to a hasty rest in front of him, blocking his path. Kagome, Sesshomaru, Kaede, and the crew of the Tetsusaiga came out to see what all the commotion was about. Inu Yasha cautiously tore the letter from the bird’s claw, nodded his head in thanks and gestured for it to leave. But the bird refused to move and nudged Inu Yasha in a silent persuasion for him to read the letter it had adorned for so long a flight. Curiously, Inu Yasha unraveled the scroll and the crew watched as expression turned from bleak to anger to happiness. He proceeded to approach Kaede and handed her the letter, grinning from ear to ear. Kaede read the letter aloud to the crew.
“Dearest Inu Yasha and Kaede and crew,
I am sorry to have been fooling ye all. I have not much time, so this much be brief. Never would I have betrayed yer trust, you must believe me. When I first heard of Naraku I knew something had to be done, and thus I became a spy. The man from the future plans to attack in exactly one month, prepare yourselves, for he is a fierce enemy. If you value my life ye must keep my secret, but I will be able to correspond with ye through my friend Mericuri, the demonic bird before ye. Always yer humble servant.
Kikyo.”
When Kaede finished nobody said a word. They allowed it to sink in and watched in awe as Inu Yasha practically pranced to his room with a smile they never expected to see out of the seemingly heartless man.
Kaede then shooed the bird away and quietly told the crew to return to their cabins for sleep. She then summoned Sesshomaru, Kagome, Miroku, Sango, and Myoga to follow her down to the meeting room below. She explained Kikyo’s story, as Inu Yasha had earlier, to Kagome and added in the parts he had left out. Inu Yasha had been in love with Kikyo, and despite the fact that she had betrayed them, he was unable to harm her. Kagome’s heart sunk as she heard this news, she didn’t quite understand why, and assumed she felt pity for the man. She finally understood why Inu Yasha had put up a façade of being stoic, almost as if he were imitating his brother, he was hurt, and didn’t want that to happen again. Then she realized, she had already hurt him, and would do so again, especially if she didn’t soon reveal her secret. Yet for some reason she felt as if he could not know, not yet. She voiced her concerns to the group and they concurred it was for the best for Inu Yasha to remain out of the loop on this issue. She also made sure everyone knew that she was a girl, in case Myoga had not yet caught on. After consulting with each other Myoga and Kaede developed a plan.
“Ye need to train Kagome.”
“You all do,” Myoga interrupted.
“I forsee a battle. Ye must heed this warning, whether Kikyo speaks the truth or not I cannot say, but it would be unwise of ye not to prepare yerself.”
“I agree, we will start training in the city tomorrow night. We have one month. You must all agree to follow our orders for the duration of this time, or else I can guarantee you will die in the battle. We must start at once. Get a good rest tonight, for it will the last time you have a chance for a long time.”
The younger generation silently left the table and proceeded to the room leaving Myoga and Kaede to plan out the next month’s strenuous activities. Kagome quickly changed course and when nobody was looking slipped through the shadows until she found herself in front of the first mate’s cabin. Taking a deep breath she knocked.

As her pet landed in front of her, she smiled and rewarded it with a piece of human flesh. She giggled slightly and then paused as she heard some noise beyond her door and watched as it slowly slid open.
----------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------
‘I knew she wouldn’t have left me. We were in love, are in love. Why did I ever doubt her? I have to rescue her and kill this Naraku character. He has always posed a threat, but now it is time to finish what he started. If we leave ton-’ Inu Yasha’s thoughts were interrupted as he heard a knock on the door and called, “Come on in!” happily.
-------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------------------
A silhouette entered the room, and quickly rushed the owner. Wrapping an arm around her waist he forced his lips down on hers. Coming up for air minutes later he smiled, “Kikyo” he said possessively as he lay her down on the futon and began once again to capture her mouth.
---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------
Kagome cautiously entered the room, unable to will her eyes to look at him. Gathering courage she walked up to the side of the bed and sat down next to Inu Yasha. He titled his head and looked at her perplexed, but he wasn’t the slightest bit angry as he was before. Kagome played with the edge of her shirt and then finally, slowly, met his smiling amber eyes. She felt a pang in her heart realizing that Kikyo was the only reason he was so content.
“What is it Kago?” he inquired.
“Sir- I mean, Inu Yasha, I…I have something to tell you. I’ve been keeping a very important secret from you…”
