A/N: Hey guys, I’m back! See I keep my word, I posted yesterday, and got 2 reviews. And sadly that was all it took to boost this little ego of mine. And so I am writing and posting another chapter tonight! I’m ashamed at how easily influenced I am, but see, every review counts and helps. The more you review, the more I post. Also, please include your e-mail addresses if you want me to put you on a mailing list =). And don’t feel bad reviewing more than once per a story, I’ll forgive you. Disclaimer: Ok for past and future reference, I do not own Inu Yasha nor do I own Pirates of the Caribbean, (ugh do I have to put it in my disclaimer for using one stupid line? *men in black suits with guns nod yes* damn the government!) but I wish I did. Then I could have 4 hotties all to myself. In fact, if I was the owner of these two lovely pieces of work, I would combine all four guys into a super guy…Inu, Sess, Jack Sparrow, and Will Turner, now is that the perfect guy or what. Well this is the last time I’m writing this damned thing, so it will be held accountable for all fanfic chapters I EVER post under the series Save the Future. *government men walk away, finally leaving Ame in peace*

RECAP:
Kouga discovers Kago’s secret and wants to make her his woman. Kaede finds out and punishes Kouga by telling him he must humiliate himself in front of the crew by giving Shippo half of his food rations for the week and not saying why. Later on, Inu Yasha requests that he and Kago find the wood needed together, and so they have a conversation, and Inu Yasha is COMPLETELY different than from how he was on the ship, in front of the other “manly” men. He spoke of his brother Sesshomaru, Kikyo (a former shipmate, who he seems fond of), and Naraku. This surprised Kagome, for her dreamy first mate had a connection to the evil Naraku, it was her first sign of getting somewhere, in terms of clues. And now they’ve returned to the ship, but will they heed Kaede’s warnings?… Or does this mean trouble for the two of them?…

Chapter 5: Kaede’s Warning

“S-s-sango, I have something to ask you,” he cooed as he caressed her face with his hand.

“Yes, Miroku?” Sango asked pleasantly, smiling up at him.

“OUTTA THE WAY!” Kouga yelled as he walked in between the two of them, splitting them apart. He was carrying a plate filled with less than a half a ration. Confused as to what was going on Sango and Miroku peered back where the crew was eating lunch, they all sat around snickering, some of them even holding their sides from excessive laughter. But they’re attention was drawn to the middle of the table. There sat Shippo, beaming so much that he outshone the sun. In front of him was a heap of food that far outnumbered anyone else, it was as if someone else had given him a meal.

“Hey guys,” the two jumped at the sound of Kago’s voice from behind them, “What’s going on?”

“Shippo, uh, has a lot of food,” Miroku responded as Sango nodded in agreement, both of them a slight shade of red that confused Kagome.

“Oh..haha…that’s from Kouga, he decided to be nice to the little tyke and give him some more food to fatten him up,” Kago explained as she began to turn and walk away. Suddenly she heard a loud slap and turned around to see Miroku with a red palm mark across his cheek, and a hand on Sango’s butt. Kagome began to giggle, but stopped just as she saw Inu Yasha turn the corner. She turned a slight shade of red and shifted her gaze to the ground.

“Hello men, Sango, nice afternoo-…eh?” Kagome looked up to see why he had stopped talking and saw him slap his own cheek. Perplexed she watched on as a mosquito demon expanded and landed on him shoulder. Inu Yasha reached up and swatted him off, and he landed on the edge of the ship. Curious Kagome leaned in the get a closer look.

“M-m-yoga?” she questioned. For some reason he looked like a miniscule version of the man she was looking for. In response he jumped on her nose, sucked some blood, and jumped back before she could blink an eye.

“Yes, that’s me, why do ask girl?”

“I’M A BOY!”
“HE’S A BOY!”

Inu Yasha and Kagome screamed simultaneously. ‘Why does it matter to him, huh?’ Kagome pondered. ‘Damn it, why does he look so much like a damned girl? Even Myoga is hitting on him. Keh, stupid boy!’ Inu Yasha declared in his thoughts. ‘Interesting,’ Sango and Miroku said mentally as they smiled at each other.

“Look,” Kagome said exasperated, “My name’s Kagom- *cough* Kago.”

“Nice to meet you Kago,” Myoga said pleasantly.

“I know you. Not you now, but you from the future. You see, I’m from the future, and you sent me back here, in a time machine. To make a long story short, I have to save the future, and you told me that your past self would tell me a name. A name of a man who could help me,” Kagome blurted out, revealing almost all of her secrets. Inu Yasha’s eyebrows shot up past his hairline, Myoga pulled out a pad and started taking notes, and Sango and Miroku just continued to grin at Kagome.

“What are you doing Myoga!?!” Kagome asked rudely.

“Simply taking notes my dear. You see, I will have to repeat exactly all of this to you as my future self in order for the time continuum to not be altered. If one thing changes, it could cause catastrophe!” he exclaimed, in a haughty voice.

“Now there’s the intelligent professor I met from the future,” Kagome said in relief.

“I trusted you, Kago!” Inu Yasha growled as he spun on his heel and began to march away from the group.

“I-Inu Yasha, w-wait!!” Kagome called to his quickly retreating back.

“Never mind him,” Myoga said rapidly, “The future is at stake here. We must hurry and find that man. I believe the man who I wanted you to find was named…” Everyone’s breath hitched in, Inu Yasha even stopped walking away, using his youkai ears to hear. “…The Great Lord of the Western Land and Seas, Sesshomaru.”

“WHAT!?!?!?!” Inu Yasha screamed.

Sesshomaru sneezed.

“So,” Kaede explained, “That’s what has been occurring. Sorry we had to hide all of this from ye.” Inu Yasha was watched as the group: Kaede, Kagome, Myoga, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo waited for his reaction. Shippo had taken it surprisingly well, feeling that his Kago was a hero. After a few moments Inu Yasha spoke, “You betrayed my trust Kago. As well as the rest of you, I’m very angered. Hell, I’m damn angry!…But,” he said, taking a deep breath, “I agree to help you find my brother.”

“Thank you Inu Yasha!” Kagome exclaimed as she pounced on him and squeezed him in a passionate embrace. He pushed her off and turned a bright shade of red.

“Kago! What the hell man? It’s not for you, it’s for the g-g-ood of the future.”

“I know, but I’m just so happy,” Kagome smiled, “Sorry about that, won’t happen again sir.”

“Let’s get this over with,” he exclaimed as he got up.

“Aye,” Kaede interjected as she opened the door to scream, “ALL HANDS ON DECK!!!!!”
“Let’s get this baby out,” Miroku said as he smiled and bounced up to run to the lookout post.

“Fly bird , this letter I send with you is of the utmost importance,” a young woman whispered to the humongous demon bird sitting beside her. She released it’s chains, “Off, to the Tetsusaiga!” she ordered. And watching from the shadows behind her an evil laugh escaped.

Sesshomaru looked over his shoulder in response to the commotion he heard coming from his crew. The crew watched for his reaction, and were graced with a smile, something they had not seen from him since the day he got his brother’s ship. The smile disappeared as quickly as it appeared, and the crew wondered if the expression had ever crossed his face.

“The half breed has returned. Prepare a small boat, I will be going aboard alone,” he stated monotonously. Sesshomaru, the Lord of the West did not keep his demon identity a secret. He was the only one to admit he was a demon in the entire land for demons were ostracized. But he, he had a reputation that followed him from the feudal era. He remained in his human form only to utilize the resources available to him, unlike his brother, who hid his youkai ears from the human world. As the Tetsusaiga pulled into the harbor, Sesshomaru walked out to the edge of the peer and instead of waiting for a boat, jumped onto Tetsusaiga’s deck when she got close enough.

‘This town, no this city, is beautiful! It’s huge, magnificent; this Sesshomaru guy must be a pretty good businessman. I mean he is a demon, who knows how long he’s been around.’ Kagome thought as she stared in awe at the town before her. She was always taught the people of the past were filthy and that their cities were filthier, but what she saw before her surpassed anything she had ever seen before. (A/N: Except maybe Inu Yasha, in soaking wet clothes…mmhmm.)

“What is THAT!?!” Kagome exclaimed aloud, pointing at a white blur that landed on the deck a few feet away from her.

“My brother,” Inu Yasha spat. Slowly the white blur transformed into a man. Sesshomaru’s long white hair cascaded openly down his back, and he was dressed in a formal white kimono. A white tail drapped over his shoulder barely covered the armor he wore. Kagome stared openly at him, and Inu Yasha watched her facial expressions,.

‘What is he getting all worked up for? Stupid boy…why do I even care?’

‘He is sooo hot!’ Kagome squealed internally, ‘Those stripes across his cheeks and the beautiful half moon that is on his forehead. The past is definitely 100 times better than the future.’

Sesshomaru stared the two of them down, “Is this your wench, brother?”
“WHAT!?!” Inu Yasha yelled, blushing a deep red, “Kago is a boy, I only like girls, damn it Sesshomaru.

“..Ah…I understand. I’m sorry for the misconception,” he spoke softly to Inu Yasha, but while making eye contact with Kagome. “Now, why are you here, Inu Yasha?”

“I-I *coughs* Kago, needs your help.”

“I shall tell ye everything after our nightly meal Sesshomaru, tis a long tale,” Kaede said appearing conveniently beside the three of them. The three nodded in respect to her, even Sesshomaru respected his former caretaker. They proceeded in following her to the dinner table. Feeling a bit flustered from seeing Inu Yasha’s brother, who was just as attractive, if not more, she excused herself from the table and returned to her cabin, carefully locking her door behind her. Sesshomaru, not being very social, quickly downed his meal in respect to Kaede and then got up and left the table without so much as a word.

Kagome sighed as she released her tightly bound breasts and pulled her pajama top over her head. She stretched up towards the skies, trying to get rid of the tension in her muscles. Yawning she turned towards her bed a prepared to get in, until she heard the handle jiggling on her door.

“K-Kaede…Sango?” Kagome called worriedly. There was no response and she began to get worried.

‘Shit,’ she thought, ‘if Kouga tries to rape me, there’s no way I can call for help. Inu Yasha would never let a girl stay on the Tetsusaiga… What the hell am I going to do??’ In shear panic she grabbed the dagger from the discarded belt and prepared herself. She strained her ears and heard the lock tumble off on the other side of the door. Feeling her heart pumping in her throat, she tightened her grip on the knife, bracing herself for the worst. The door handle turned slowly, and Kagome had to shield her eyes, for the sun was setting just behind a silhouette. The figure in front of her was tall and lean, with long flowing hair.

“I-I-nu Yasha?” she questioned.

“Hardly girl. Put down your weapon.” The knife dropped from Kagome’s hand as she welcomed the intimidating man in. He quickly maneuvered into the room and closed the door behind him.

“Sesshomaru, you scared me, what can I do for you? Kaede wanted us to wait before explaining, so we could all discuss options together,” Kagome said, sighing in relief. ‘Thank Kami it wasn’t Kouga, I don’t know what I would have done!’

“You intrigue me. Normally human girls disgust me, but you are different. You’re…how shall I put it…amusing. And to think that idiot Inu Yasha doesn’t even realize it’s a girl he’s attracted to not a boy.”

“I-I am a boy!” Kagome blurted out, turning bright red from his emotionless comment about Inu Yasha.

“You think you can fool a youkai girl?”

“You don’t know anything!” Kagome yelled out frantically, “I’m a boy, and you can’t prove otherwise…I‘d like to see you tr-” Kagome was abruptly interrupted as she felt her back hit the side of her cabin. The air was knocked out of her chest and she squeezed her eyes shut. Once she had regained herself, she opened her eyes only to see Sesshomaru inches from her face, his much larger body blocking any means of escape.

“I accept your offer, Kago, I will challenge you and prove you wrong,” Sesshomaru whispered seductively. As soon as the words flowed gracefully from his mouth, he began nuzzling Kagome’s neck, carpeting her in luxury. She moaned as his hands moved upwards caressing her torso. Her mind was muddled by Sesshomaru’s skills. But then she felt his clawed grasp her breast she realized what was happening. Her eyes grew large and she tried to push him away.

“S-s-stop.”

“I’m just proving you wrong, you asked for this, no? And aren’t you enjoying yourself wench?”

“Please,” Kagome pleaded softly, “I have a mission I must accomplish, nobody can know my secret. Please! Not even your brother.” Kagome thought to herself in panic, ‘This must be what Kaede warned me about! She didn’t want me to have this kind of relationship with the man who is to help me. I can’t let this happen.’

“Don’t worry little one, I would never tell my brother, I enjoy watching the idiot suffer,” Sesshomaru stated matter-of-factly. He then proceeded to lower his lips towards Kagome’s. Not knowing what else to do she called out, “NOOO!! Inu Ya-”

But her words were once more cut off. This time as Sesshomaru captured her lips and trapped her hands above her head. Holding her captive he began to deepen his kiss, and Kagome moaned in a mix of pleasure and fear against his mouth. From behind them, Kagome heard a deep growl. Sesshomaru removed his lips and released Kagome allowing her to see where the noise was coming from. To her horror, standing in the open doorway was Inu Yasha, with narrowing red eyes, he growled threateningly.

A/N: Well, what did ya’ll think? Did Kagome do a good job heeding Kaede’s warning? Teehee. Well our beloved and gorgeous, yet kinda mean Sesshy has finally arrived.
