This one will focus mainly on Inuyasha's point of view on all this as she cries to him.

Chapter two: Laying Together

Twenty minutes later she was in his comforting arms on her bed as she cried into his chest. A few minutes ago her mother had entered to see if everything was okay. When she saw them on the bed together she jumped but Inuyasha motioned to her discreetly to leave and he said with his expression that they wouldn't do anything but lay there.

Kagome had yet to stop crying and was blabbering on about how sorry she was that she would say that to him and that she was slightly jealous that Kikyou took over most of his time.

Inuyasha just listened and said comforting words to her, for her sake. He knew she was fragile, yet strong. She was fragile and vulnerable when she was sad, but when she was determined about something she was a force of nature. He loved her to death- as a friend.

Kikyou was a lot to him, but if something were wrong with Kagome he would risk his life to get there. She had been there for him so many times he lost count in 4th grade. She was a selfless person and he loved that about her. She was always sweet to him, gentle and kind. Kagome was the only person he ever told about his true self. He was a half demon, but his powers and special abilities, including features would come along when he grew as a person.

He remembered perfectly, like it was yesterday, how she had just shrugged it off and said he was still the man she devoted her life to. He had never thought of it before, but until now she had always had a little crush on him. Inuyasha knew it was only a small crush since she never said anything about how he was and would be the only man in her life until death. He never put too much thought into it since he was going through puberty and all he wanted to do was see her breasts.

Inuyasha smiled as he remembered all the times they had slept over eachother's houses. Kagome had started her period at his house. That was one night!

He remembered Kagome when she was only 13 complaining that she felt like she was going to barf, but she still wanted to come over to his house. His brother allowed it and she stayed the night. The next morning he woke to a scream and found Kagome crying in his bathroom.

He knocked on the door worried sick about her.

"Kagome?"

"I think I'm dying!!!"

Inuyasha rushed down to his brother's room and told him. His brother, Sesshoumaru, just brushed him aside until Inuyasha started to cry. He recalled his brother telling him that it was a weakness, tears. His brother called Kagome's mother and her mom picked her up ten minutes later. She missed school for the next week and Inuyasha wasn't allowed to go see her. He was so worried about her.

One time he freaked her out when he called her panting, telling her that he had a really bad feeling that she was in pain, and not even 30 seconds before she had just fallen down the stairs. From then on whenever she had physical pain he knew it. It was a weird connection the two had. Kagome cherished it. She knew she was safe now.

He could also recall the time after his mother's death. Kagome was there for him 24/7. He would call her in the middle of the night on a school night and she would stay up with him until he felt better. Gods, he loved her.

Inuyasha whispered to her how much he loved her into her ear and how much he was sorry for listening to her song.

Kagome always had this thing about her music and poems. No one could listen to them for some reason. He didn't understand them anyway, but it was always there in the back of his head. Inuyasha always wondered who they were about.

Kagome had stopped crying as he kissed her on the cheek, then wiped the tears from her cheeks.

"Do you want me to stay here tonight?"

Kagome nodded, wrapping her arms around his torso.

"Please don't leave me Inuyasha…"

"I won't…"

Six times that night Kikyou had called his cell phone, but he didn't bother picking it up. Thank gods he had it on vibration too. All hell would break loose if her grandpa heard it.

Kikyou was probably calling to complain about her day… Inuyasha mentally groaned and tightened his hold around her. He found himself not wanting to get up when sunlight hit the windows. Kagome was sound asleep in his arms.

"You're so beautiful, Kagome…" Inuyasha said cupping her cheek.

Surprisingly, Kagome smiled and scooted closer to him, rubbing her head against his chest.

Inuyasha just couldn't wake her up so he got a little more comfortable and went back to sleep, not remembering he had promised to take Kikyou to school today….

An hour later something was moving in his pants and he liked it, that is until he woke up and found out it was someone calling his cell phone. He saw who it was and gasped realizing his mistake… too late to fix it now… He came to and threw the phone down onto the floor of her room.

Kagome's mother came in maybe once or twice to check on them and smiled at the sight. She always did respect their privacy, and trusted them fully. Inuyasha was a sweet young man and she wouldn't mind having him as a son-in-law. But she did know that he was to be engaged in a few months to Kikyou Yune, a well-respected miko who was in possession of the Shikon no Tama.

The Shikon no Tama was a priceless antique piece of jewelry. She usually wore it around her neck on a silver chain. It was said to have special powers for mikos and demons. But there were only a few left in Japan so every one thought it was just a legend.

Once Kagome's mother left the room Inuyasha opened his eyes and stared down at his beauty. He couldn't get enough of her. All he wanted to do was taste her… those pink lips looked so inviting and he hadn't had a kiss in 2
