Okay I'm admitting it this was a horrifying chapter that I had to fix with too many mistakes I was even about to give up on it. Now that it's fixed though I'm expecting reviews lol. "Inuyasha may I ask but didn't you just use a mage powers just now”

Inuyasha looks backed to Miroku openly showing that he was indeed shocked.

"Inuyasha... if I can even call you that” Miroku questioned, "who are you really"

All eyes were now on him.

After regaining his composure Inuyasha replied with his usual “keh” but Inuyasha knew Miroku wasn't going to back off until he had a straight answer. He did the only thing he could think of at the moment, he turned his back to them.

“I don't want to talk about this now so leave me be”

Sango decided it was her turn to question, but before she could Kagome jumped in to save the day.

“We're all tired so lets make camp and question tomo...”

“No Lady Kagome I have to disagree with you. I know we are all confused and I know that we all want answers Inuyasha” ,Miroku stated now turning to face Inuyasha's retreating back.

Inuyasha slowly turned around his body engulfed with a strange blue aura and his eyes showed no sign of emotion.

“By pestering me your putting your lives in danger and you know you will never be able to beat me”, Inuyasha said in a cold uncaring voice as Miroku flew into Sango.

As soon as it happened the light surrounding Inuyasha vanished leaving nothing, but a scared hanyou. Kagome watched as Inuyasha stared into space with an expression she rarely saw. He who always called himself brave, fearless, and the most powerful hanyou in Japan looked as though he was going to cry.

“M...Miroku...I sorry” his voice broke as he said the last words.

The four watched as their friend ran deeper into the forest leaving them.

“Inuyasha matte!” Kagome screamed as she ran after him her speed nothing compared to his.

Kagome looked for a while before she sensed a strange aura similar to the one she felt coming from Inuyasha. It made chills go down her back as she continued to get close to the source. On the forest floor sat Inuyasha hugging his knees to his chest. She'd never seen him this broken before.

“Don't come any closer Kagome” Inuyasha whispered causing her to stop.

“Why Inuyasha, I don't understand”, her reply was a sad hollow laugh.

“You can't unless you can break my barrier”

That had been what she felt while looking for him it was a barrier. `Why!' she thought, `why is he doing this to me'

“Inuyasha” Kagome stated in a bold voice, “I know you're scared...but...”

“No one said I was scared!” Inuyasha spat at her, “I'm not scared” his voice getting quieter and uncertain with each word.

`Inuyasha now you're basically trying to tell yourself you'renot scared'

“Kagome I know what you're going to say next and I... I can't take down the barrier even if I wanted to. It's better this way I can't hurt you be happy.”

“Need help” Miroku asked stepping into sight the others right behind him.

“Yes...I MEAN NO! DIDN'T YOU HEAR I KNOW YOU DID I COULD SENSE YOU. IF I COME OUT I CAN KILL YOU ALL!” Inuyasha's voice rang through the forest as his barrier got weaker and eventually was gone.

"Doesn't seem like your hurting us now", Sango commented.

"You can explain in the morning lets just get some sleep", Kagome said while dragging him toward camp.

Everyone settled in to their temporary home and waited for their hanyou friend to finally fall asleep before discussing the days events amongst themselves.

“Houshi-sama do you know how he pushed you without touching you” Sango asked remembering the event.

“Yes, as you probably know mages are able to control the elements. In our case my dear Sango, Inuyasha was controlling the wind. Although I should thank him for making me fly into you Sango”

A loud slap rang through the night, waking Shippo out of his slumber. Everyone stiffened as they listened for any signs that Inuyasha had awoken, to find that he had slept through it. Miroku cleared his voice his face turning serious.

“In my training to become a monk I had to do a lot of research and I did hear of a princess who had strong mage powers who happened to have a son, but it can't be Inuyasha the way he acts...”

“But Miroku it is still possible he's the son of the lord of the western lands right” Sango asked.

Kagome looked up to see Inuyasha listening to their conversation. After a few seconds he looked at her and they made eye contact.Keeping eye contact Kagome asked Miroku about the son.

"Well Lady Kagome it was a long time and I can't remember that much but I don't think it told much about him”

Kagome saw Inuyasha tense at her question then relax and when Miroku gave his answer.`So I've hit a nerve the princess has to be his mother no doubt about it!'

“If this helps I could smell his fear when he thought he hurt you and Sango, Miroku”, Shippo replied sleepily.

“I say we get some sleep it's been a tiresome day”

“You're right Kagome”, Sango comments yawning to show the girl was right.

After they had settled down there was a blue light and Inuyasha fell out of the tree and on his head causing everyone to stare.

“Obviously if you fell through the branch", is heard.

Inuyasha awoke he looked around only to see nothing but trees. `Where am I why am I in a field did they leave me...no now I see her'

“Inuyasha!” Kagome waved

“Now we've got the half-breed kill him”

“What!?...”Inuyasha went to turn around but with no luck.

I was then hit on the back of my head.I met the ground as I tried to look up Isee a village boy. It was the one who tormented me daily as a kid. Kagome just stood there crying.

“This is what a freak like you deserves”, he sneered

I stopped thinking and soonhissneer turned to fear asthe boywas surrounded by a light and killed. I stood up and looked down only to see Miroku's body.

“Inuyasha, what did you do you killed Miroku you fainted he just wanted to help you”

“Kagome I...” I took a step forward but she made up for it by stepping back.

“Get away from me monster!”

“No, it's not true! ” Then she was gone killed the same way as Miroku.

“KAGOME!!!!!!!”

Inuyasha awoke trying to suppress a scream but failed. All eyes were on him once again. This was happening too much lately.

“Inuyasha?” Kagome questioned.

“Huh?” `Goodthey're alive'

“N...nothing breakfast is ready”

Everyone ate quietly that morning obviously still thinking about last night. That is until Inuyasha's food caught on fire.

“Damn, stupid powers going out of control, I'm hungry” he muttered under his breath.

“Well now we don't need your matches Kagome just ask Inuyasha to look at the food so you can cook it" Shippo commented.

Soon though he wished he hadn't said it because he was upside down and floating in the air. While his food floated safely over to Inuyasha.

“NO FAIR PUT ME DOWN YOU JERK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Shippo cried.

Kagome glared at him but noticed that his aura was stronger than normal, the others had noticed to as they tried to snap him out of his trance. When he calmed down he muttered his apologies. With an added you deserved it.

"Um...I I'll tell you what's wrong with me but don't....please don't tell", Inuyasha whispered.

”Promise”, they all said together.

“Good well you know last night about the princess....well Miroku you were on the right track I'm her son. She didn't even know I had these powers until I was six and could no longer ignore what the villagers were saying, I got mad they froze, exploded, or were buried alive. She tried to teach me control but she got...uh...sick? The last thing she did was seal my powers she told me I was dangerous if I didn't learn control. I only broke the seal to save you guys now everyone around me has to suffer I only kept this from you well because I hate my past and you wouldn't want to be around me cause I even more of a freak now"

"Is that all well I'm pretty sure we don't think you're a freak and I can seal them if you'd like but it only is temporary until we reach Lady Kaede", Miroku stated.

“No you can't we need those or at least....never mind that we...need you half-breed”, a voice called out.

“Wait that annoying voice Jaken?"
