InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Secrets Revealed ❯ Kagome's Going Back to Her Time to Think ( Chapter 2 )
Sango was silent. She had to take a second to comprehend all that her dearest friend was telling her. "So, it seems that your dream is trying to tell you something," hinted Sango. Sango suspected that Kagome's dream meant that she had feelings for Inu-Yasha. That's not like Kagome, though, to have dreams like this, thought Sango.
"What does it mean, though? That I like Inu-Yasha? No... wait a second, Do I?" Kagome was a little lost. "Maybe I should go back to my own time for a little while. To think."
Sango nodded. "That would probally be a good idea." Kagome headed towards the village to gather her belongings. As she was walking she ran into Shippou. "Hey, Shippou! What did you say to Inu-Yasha to make him hit you?" Kagome wanted to know what Shippou said to make Inu-Yasha so angry. Well, Inu-Yasha is ALWAYS angry, but that's besides the point...
"I don't want to say. I only said it 'cause Inu-Yasha was saying something about Kikyo. So I decided to make him angry 'cause I don't like Kikyo," Shippou said.
"Okay, but what DID you say to make him so angry?." "I said 'I hate Kikyo! You should marry Kagome, instead! That would make us all happy. And then he hit me and that's when I yelled,'OW! INU- YASHA! THAT HURT!'" Kagome blushed a little.
She didn't want Shippou to notice so she turned away from Shippou. "That's okay, Shippou. Just don't say that again. Inu-Yasha has such a quick temper, he would get mad at anything."
"Okay, I won't," said Shippou. Now that that's finished, I can go and gather my belongings, thought Kagome. "Where are you going in such a hurry?" asked Shippou.
"I'm going home," was Kagome's answer.
"Oh, okay. Just don't tell Inu-Yasha, you know how he gets when you're going home...." Shippou said.
"I know. Well, I'll see you in a few days. Bye, Shippou," Kagome said. She ran off to go and get her things. As Kagome was packing up, she saw Miroku. "Hi, Miroku. Why are you in my 'room'?"
"I detected an ominous cloud in your hut and decided to investigate."
"I'm sure..." muttered Kagome. She knew that the real reason he was in there was because he was hoping to catch Sango getting changed in there because he didn't see her at the river when he tried to spy so he probally assumed that she went to her 'room' to get changed. *A/N Sango and Kagome share a 'room'*
"Well, I was just leaving," said Miroku.
"So was I...." Kagome said. While she was having this short conversation with Miroku, she was getting toether her stuff.
"Where are you going?" asked Miroku.
"Back to my own time for a few days. To think."
"Oh, okay, just don't tell Inu--" Miroku was cut off.
"I know, I know, just don't tell Inu-Yasha, I know how he gets when I'm going home." Now that Kagome had all of her things, she started off towards the Bone Eater's Well.
While she was walking she heard a voice. "Where are you going with all of your stuff?" Kagome knew that voice. It belonged to Inu-Yasha. Damn! And she almost got away, too!
"I'm going back to my own time. And don't try to make me stay here! I've got to go back to modern Japan to think!"
"Think about what?" came Inu-Yasha's voice as he jumped off the tree.
"I believe that's MY business," Kagome said, turning away from Inu- Yasha and kept on walking towards the Bone Eater's well.
"Well, now it's MY business! Now tell me what you're going to modern Japan to think about!" Inu-Yasha yelled, jumping in front of Kagome.
"I didn't want to have to do this, Inu-Yasha! But you leave me no choice. SIT!" Kagome yelled and ran off towards the Bone Eater's Well. Kagome jumped into the Bone Eater's well and left the poor, unconcious Inu- Yasha behind.
