~*WHEN INU-YASHA WOKE UP*~
Inu-Yasha woke to Miroku, Shippou, and Sango standing over him, shaking their heads. "Inu-Yasha, what did you do to make Lady Kagome so angry?" asked Miroku. "I don't believe she has made you fall unconsious before. Okay, so maybe she has, but not for awhile."

"I don't know! Kagome can be such a stubborn witch sometimes! I asked a simple question and then she gets all pissed! I'll tell you, that girl's got some serious issues!"

"Inu-Yasha! Don't be so rude! I think Kagome probally had a good reason to 'sit' you. Let me guess. You were trying not to let her go back to modern Japan?" came Sango's response.

"Well... I need her.... I mean WE need her! She's the only one out of all of us that can see the Shikon no Tama shards!" was Inu-Yasha's answer.

"Your point being....? So, you're saying that Kagome shouldn't have a life just because she can sense Sacred Jewel shards?" Sango said.

"Yeah," Inu-Yasha said in his most cockiest voice.

Sango rolled her eyes and walked away mumbling,"And you said KAGOME had serious issues...."

"Women! Just don't understand them!" Inu-Yasha yelled.

"And you never will," inquired Miroku.
~*IN KAGOME'S TIME*~
"Grandpa! Sota! Mom! I'm back!" Kagome yelled as she entered the Higurashi house.

"Hey, Kag! How's Inu-Yasha and the gang?" said Sota.

"Oh, they're fine.... Where's mom and Grandpa?" Kagome said with a smile. She missed home.

"They're out running errands."
"Oh, okay, well... I'm going to school. Bye-bye, Sota-chan!" Kagome said.

"HEY! DON'T CALL ME -CHAN!" Sota yelled to Kagome as she was leaving the house.

As Kagome was walking to school, Hojo caught sight of her and shouted "Wait up!" so he could walk to school with her. "Hi, Kagome. Haven't seen you for awhile. How are your diabeties? Are you alright?" Hojo asked.
Kagome answered with,"Oh, I'm fine. So, what have you been up to?"
"Nothing really, just school and stuff like that," Hojo replied. "So, Kagome, can I ask you a personal question? It's okay if you don't want to answer it."
"Okay... but you won't get mad at me if I don't answer it... okay?"

"Okay," Hojo said with the slightest grin. "Well.... do you have a boyfriend?"

"Why do you ask?" Kagome said even though she already knew why.

"Well... I like you... a lot. And I don't want to pressure you if you already have a boyfriend."

"I'm sorry, Hojo. I already have a boyfriend. But we can still be good friends... I'm really sorry," Kagome lied.
"Oh... it's okay," Hojo said with a disappointed voice. "Well, if things don't work out, you know I'll always be there for you. Could you tell me his name?"

"Sure. His name is Inu-Yasha." And with that they were already at school.
