SELF INFLICTED PAIN
Kagome awoke in the hospital wondering where she was but quickly remembered the fight that had gone on the day before with her beloved InuYasha.....
*Flashback*
Kagome had just gotten a home from Kaede's house when InuYasha went over to Kagome and slapped her.
"What did I do?" She asked biting her bottom lip to stop her self from whimpering.
"You know what you did you stupid bitch!" InuYasha was in rage!
"I'm sorry! It was an accident! I didn't mean to! She walked into it!" Kagome pleaded with InuYasha but he didn't care.
"You killed Kikyo! Knowing what you did you should go kill yourself! Not innocent people like Kikyo!" There was no use talking to him he was blinded with rage and hatred.
"I tried to save her from a demon and she walked into my arrow!" Kagome couldn't bear what InuYasha was accusing her of. She would never kill Kikyo she was almost like a sister because of the whole "reincarnation" thing.
InuYasha Kicked Kagome onto the cold kitchen floor.
"I hate you! I hope you die so I never have to see you again!"With that InuYasha ran out the door. So Kagome took his advice that he had given her earlier. She reached up onto the countertop and garbbed the first knife she felt. She just laid on the floor and cried, cried away all the pain and suffering in her life. Before long she started slashing at her wrists furiously. Then she said her final good bye to the world and took that knife and drove it right through her heart. Where all the pain had come from.
*End Flashback*
She thought for a minute, then rolled out of bed onto the floor and crawled over to the life support system. She said good-bye, one last time and unplugged the cord. Leading from this life to the next.
Only a few minutes after Kagome was found did he show up at the hospital. When InuYasha got to her room they had already laid Kagome's body back onto her bed. He was silent until he got closer. Her rosy cheeks were now ghostly white, her soft sweet smile now nothing but a plain grin, her bright blue eyes closed by a never-ending sleep. God, he was so sorry! And only then did he relies how much he loved her. Stinging hot tears road down his cheeks. He re-looked her motionless body to find she had a note in her hand. He carefully unfolded the note which read:

Dear My darling InuYasha:
If you are reading this note it means I have taken your advice. I did finally realize that I am unworthy of your love. Yes, I loved you, but I had no love in return. The only one capable of your love.....I killed.

The end of the note was a poem witch read:
A Special Someone
If you have someone special,
Would you let them get away?
If you had someone special,
Would you die for them?
Would you care for them?
Would you cry for them at night?
Would you?
I know a special someone,
But I let them get way,
You know that special someone of mine.
Because that special someone is you.
InuYasha whispered to himself, "She truly did love me. She killed herself like I told her to and she believed that she killed Kikyo. Even though she did not."
After reading the letter InuYasha dropped the letter and fell to his hands and knees. And to this very day InuYasha has hid the letter.
And he will never let it, or her feelings for him go.
