A/N: okay well thanks to all who reviewed, I am grateful! Someone has even made a helpful suggestion on how to fix my spell check, and so I think the spelling is a lot better now! Also, I have gotten questions. Jakken and Rin aren't in this fic, nor is Naraku, not yet at least, and they probably wont be. Also I'm not sure, but I think that you can pass through the well as long as you have a jewel shard with you. But if not, that's just the way its gonna be in my fic. Okays I'll shut up now, ENJOY! ^_____^

Kagome and Arianne sat in Kagome's room, munching and chewing on junk food. Arianne had just gotten there a few minutes ago. The doorbell rang. Kagome screamed, closed her door and locked it. "Uh…Kagome?" Arianne looked at her funny. "Didn't you order a pizza?" she said. "Oh…yeah…a pizza." She got up and opened her bedroom door. "Aren't you coming with me?" she asked. "To get a pizza? Why how much did you order?"

"Just one."

"And you can't carry one up the stairs?"

Kagome bit her bottom lip and said nothing. Arianne frowned but got up and walked downstairs. She reached for the doorknob but Kagome smacked her hand away. "Check who it is first!" she said. Arianne raised an eyebrow. "It's the pizza guy…" she said, peering through the window beside the door, and making for the doorknob, only to be prevented from opening it again. "Are you sure? I mean, it could be someone in disguise, or - "

"KAGOME! You can't be serious! Snap out of it and go get the money!" she said at loss for patience, snapping her fingers repeatedly in front of Kagomes face. Kagome stopped arguing and went to get the money from the coffee table. Arianne yanked the door open. The pizza guy smiled and handed her the pizza box, and a bottle of soda. Kagome handed him the money, her hand shaking. The guy quickly counted the money. `Enjoy your pizza" he said, turning to leave. "Thanks," Arianne said and closed the door lightly, and Kagome quickly locked it. Arianne didn't seem to notice though. She grinned, "that boy had one cute ass!" she said. Kagome giggled. "Isn't he in our science class? What's his name..."

"Dunno, but I'm sure gonna find out!" Arianne said as she ran up the stairs. Back in Kagome's room, they sat on the floor and ate slice after slice. Neither had said a word yet. Arianne seemed to be thinking. She looked over Kagome, who was very tense and had a strangely depressed look on her face. "Kagome, what's up with you? You seem even worse then usual. Is it your cancer? Is something wrong with the treatment? Is it not working?" concerned questions flooded out of her mouth. Kagome glanced up, and locked eyes with her one and only, best friend. And a wave of shame washed over her. It was a horrible sensation. "I…I don't have cancer." She said quietly. Arianne eyed her curiously. "You don't have cancer?" she repeated the words in disbelief, though she was relieved that she wasn't sick. "Well then what is it? Why do you miss so much school, and act strangely and…" her voice trailed off, as her eyes filled with tears, ready to drop, "…why didn't you tell me?" she whispered, as though she was afraid of the answer. Kagome crawled across the floor and put an arm around her friends shoulder. "I don't know. I'm stupid Ari…I just didn't think about it, but I'm telling you now right? Everyone makes mistakes." Arianne sniffled, and wiped her eyes. (These girls get so emotional…sometimes I think I'm writing about 5 year olds -.-`)

"Alright." She mumbled. "Spill. Why did you tell everyone you have cancer, what have you been doing when you were supposedly going to the hospital for treatment?" Kagome breathed in deeply. {Here we go…hope she doesn't think I'm crazy…} Kagome told her everything about the well, the jewel, the people and things in feudal Japan, she didn't go into much detail about Sesshy though. (Haha! If you thought I was gonna write everything she says in detail, you were wrong! …Not to mention stupid…I tried explaining the story to my non-anime watching friend once. And she didn't get it, she was clueless. But Arianne is gonna understand, just for the sake of the story.mwahahaha)

Arianne took all this information in. It was extremely bizarre, but she believed Kagome's story. "Still doesn't explain to me why you're acting extra-freaky today." Kagome sighed. (NOT AGAIN! In my next story, I am gonna ban the word sigh/ sighing. It's driving me nuts! Wait. I'm already crazy…*goes into deep thought about insanity and the sort*) She continued to talk, explaining what happened with Saitouru this afternoon. Arianne listened, mouth gaping open. "Oh my god! Its like he raped you!"

"He did rape me! That's the point!"

"Well you should tell someone!"

"Like who? The people who would believe me cant do anything about it!"

"I dunno `Gome, telling someone seems like a good idea."

"No. I'll be fine, I just have to stay away from him."

"Alright. Stay where there are lots of people." Arianne advised, looking unsure.

The rest of the night was uneventful, and after Arianne left in the morning, Kagome went to take a shower, and then got dressed in a long sleeved, plain white shirt, draw-string, cream-colored pants, and slipped on her white flip-flops. She pulled her hair back into a high ponytail and tied it with her hair-scrunchie. Before she left her room, she passed the mirror on the dresser, and stopped, looking at her reflection. She dressed differently now, trying to make her beauty more discreet, not wanting to stand out, she was afraid. She thought about how plain she looked, compared to how she used to be. {Good. I don't want a guy to ever look at me again the way Saitouru did.} She thought, shuddering as she grabbed her car keys and went to pick up Souta. (Wow. She's been scarred for life. Poor Kagome T_T …that's a first…I actually feel bad for her O.o)

A/N: okay…kind of a boring chappie but everyone has to have them now and then, am I right? Next one should be better. I would've updated sooner but stupid storm kept cutting the power. So don't hurt me ^_^' anyhow I'll probably update tomorrow. Maybe. Maybe not. You never know. ^_~ Oh and my random friend Tina shall now be included in my also random comments…. like so:
