SESSHOMARU: THE ALMOST WIFE BEATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUN DUN DAAAAAA!!!!

 

 

 

 

It was almost 1:00 when Sesshomaru and Kagome made it back to the castle. Kagome was still crying like she didn't have any sense.

 

“please kagome! Control youself!” Sesshomaru was trying to calm kagome down. He had just told her that he was going back to the woods to meet up with Inuyasha.(though he didn't tell her why)

 

“why are you leaving meee?!?! Your n-never going to come baaaack!!!”

 

“dear kagome this is my castle as well as the land I rule… if I were to leave you it would have to be through a means of death. And I assure you im not going to die.”

 

“you hate meee!” kagome was now rolling on the floor in sesshomarus bed room. Sesshomaru was seriously contemplating weather or not he should just leave and quit trying to comfort her. The `comfort kagome' road was starting to look like a dead end.

 

“kagome im leaving. I WILL return at sundown. I will send a servant to come and care for you. You are being ridiculous.”

 

Kagome didn't even respond. She huddled into a ball and was whimpering and shaking. Then she slowly got up and dragged herself over to where Sesshomaru was standing. She looked him in the eyes and still said nothing. She just stood there huffing while staring Sesshomaru in the face. Sesshomaru who was getting tired if the staring game looked away and scowled at the floor. Then suddenly he felt a hand meet his face in a very, very unfriendly fashion. Kagome slapped him with all her might. The sound of it created an unreal silence after it was over. The air around them seemed to dry up. She even stopped her senseless wailing.

Sesshomaru's face was turned away facing the direction the slap sent him in. kagome could see the side of his face when a muscle popped in his jaw line. He craned his face up almost robotically and stared at her. Seriously, if looks could kill kagome would have been burnt into flames while a lion gnawed on her carcass and a random man would have been shooting her in the face with a shot gun. Sesshomaru was PISSED. And he wasn't having it. no matter who it was- mate or not- carrying his child or not- she would NOT get away with THAT.

sesshomrus eyes glowed a crimson red and his pupils turned purple. Kagome could have been burned to a crisp from all the hot anger that was radiating off his body. Sesshomaru spoke in a calm but low low voice that was almost like a cereal killers voice. it was shaky with anticipation but scary like a growl. Kagome actually feared for her life… Sesshomaru feared for her life too…

 

“you are either out of you mind or you never had one to begin with. Today I refuse to mix you stupidity with bravery. How dare you!”

 

“s-sesshomaru i-.”

 

“SILENCE! Don't speak another word!” Sesshomaru grabbed kagome by the wrist and pulled her closer to him. Their faces were so close there noses could have touched at the tips. But Sesshomaru didn't want to be that close to her. He squeezed her arm and she could feel his claws starting to break the skin. She let out a small painful cry but he still didn't let go. Kagome could feel his breath against her face when he spoke. He was still staring at her with gleaming red eyes.

 

“you are going to stop this nonsense NOW! You are out of your mind and I won't hesitate to kill you!”…

 

…The silence after he said that could have killed them both…

 

…They just sat there…

 

…They sat there staring at each other and Sesshomaru eyes began to go back to normal.

 

Kagome began breathing again after realizing she had been holding her breath ever since he grabbed her. They were still staring at each other when finally it was Sesshomaru who couldn't look anymore. He turned his face and started staring at the ground again. Now he was feeling the regret.

 

“kagome i-.”

 

“just—shut up.” Kagome snatched her hand away from him and walked out the room without saying another word.

Sesshomaru was never more miserable in his life. He wished that she would have done something else.

 

Anything else.

 

Different scenes played in his mind of him saying what he said and something else happening.

 

Like getting slapped again.

 

He imagined another scenario of him saying what he said and her bawling on the ground again.

He pictured her saying she hated him.

 

He pictured her kicking him in the shin.

 

He pictured himself apologizing and them both hugging and tumbling into the bed in a heap of passion.

 

He imagined himself being something else.

 

He imagined what it would have been like if he never said anything in the first place.

 

What if she slapped him and he just stood there.

 

Anything else.

 

Anything but her leaving.

 

Sesshomaru stood there in the silence. `I won't hesitate to kill you!' `kill you.' Why did he say that? Was what she did really that serious?

 

“why did I say that?” he asked himself over and over “why did I say it? I didn't mean it kagome”.

But she wasn't there. Sesshomaru did all he could do for now. He got dressed and left to see Inuyasha.

“Inuyasha.”

 

“huh?”

 

“you do understand that in order to have kagura you must defeat naraku? From what I have heard, you and you group have discontinued you search for him as a result of kagomes absence.”

 

“yeah I know. Listen I got the whole naraku thing under control right now. Just sniff out where kagura last was.”

 

“could you not sniff her out yourself?”

 

“are you going to make me say it?”

 

“yes”

 

“mmr-fine…(EXTREMELY sarcastic voice) GREAT MIGHTY SESSHOMARU… YOUR FULL DEMON NOSE IS SO MUCH MORE AFFECTIVE THAN MY CRUDDY HANYOU NOSE… MAY WE ALL WORSHIP YOUR NOSE IN HOPE THAT WE TO ONE DAY WILL FOLLOW IN YOUR MIGHTY FOOT STEPS AND ONE DAY JUST MAYBE ONE OF YOUR BOOGERS WILL FALL TO THE GROUND AND CREATE A NEW AREA OF WORSHIP BECAUSE YOU ARE THE GREAT ONE… YADA…YA.”

 

“Pathetic.”

 

“shaadup!”

 

Sesshomaru put his nose into the air and searched for kaguras scent. Or at least where she was before she entered narakus barrier. In the process he smelled some very interesting things. He smelled that Inuyasha had not bathed in a while. He smelled humans. Not that they were interesting. It was just strange given the fact that they were standing over a huge cliff, miles away from civilization. What were humans doing anywhere near this place? He also smelled some cats. Not demon cats but normal everyday cats. He paused.

 

“Inuyasha do you smell that?”

 

“What the cats? Yeah who cares? You wanna go kill em? Man that brings back memories… I ain't killed a cat since yesterday. Yup its been a while.”

 

“No Inuyasha! Not the cats… I smell… naraku…”

 

“No. you. Don't! Don't even joke like that!”

 

“Silence! I can hear him also.”

 

“Your off you rocker.”

 

“Listen fool!”

 

Inuyasha's ear twitched and he tried his best but heard nothing. He put his nose to the air and all he could smell were those annoying ass cats.

 

“Inuyasha… he is… chanting… `Switch the souls' over and over. Can you not hear him?!”

 

“I don't hear nothin' I think your crazy!”

 

“Why do I smell him? Where is his barrier?”

 

“do you smell kagura?”

 

“yes”

 

“LETS GO!!”

 

“no”

 

“why?!”

 

“if he says… oh kami he said it…”

 

“what did he say?!”

 

“I have encountered this before Inuyasha. goodbye.”

 

Inuyasha was suddenly pulled from the cliff and flung into the air. He looked down and realized that his body was still next to Sesshomaru and they both were lying on the ground. He looked up and saw a glowing bluish-white figure but all he could make out on the figure were two crimson eyes with purple pupils.

 

`Sesshomaru?' Inuyasha tried to talk but realized he didn't have a mouth… or anything for that matter he was just a blue… thing. `I'm just a soul now…' he could tell he was a soul from the many encounters with kikyou and her souls that were constantly being pushed into her body. `Where am I going?' his form began moving without his permission and he began floating farther and farther away from Sesshomaru.

 

* * *

 

“ku ku ku ku! Kagura! Isn't this plan genius?!”

 

“I guess.”

 

“Rejoice kagura! That dammed Inuyasha is going to be sucked into the wind tunnel!” kagura looked up with a very bored look on her face and replied in her most monotone, uninterested voice,

 

“Whoop. Whoop. Inuyasha is gonna die.” She didn't want naraku to know of the serious pain it caused her to say that.

 

“wow kagura you were so enthusiastic. One would almost think that you don't want Inuyasha to die…” kagura shuddered and looked up at naraku who was looking out the window. “don't you want him to die?”

 

“yes I want him to die…”

 

“good. Its settled then. I wasn't really going to kill Inuyasha, but now that I know you want him dead I am going to kill him.”

 

“NO! I was joking!” kagura inwardly slapped herself. She walked right into that one. She gave him just what he was looking for.

 

“why don't you want him dead kagura?”

 

“I do- I mean - I don't - because-.”

 

“kagura… have you grown fond of Inuyasha? do I need to remind you that he is the enemy?”

 

“no im-.”

 

“Inuyasha is going to be in the monks body until I switch him back. But I want him dead. You can defeat the monk's body easily. The wind tunnel shouldn't affect you- you control the wind! While Inuyasha is in the monks body… I want you to kill him.” kagura put on her most uncaring face and nodded her head.

 

She wanted to cry painful tears but would NEVER again make the mistake of showing emotion to naraku. He was wrong. Inuyasha wasn't kaguras enemy. Naraku himself was the only person kagura ever truly hated. If she ever got a chance at revenge, she would not kill naraku immediately; she would torture him until she felt he wasn't worth it anymore. She didn't even consciously realize that for the past two months it had become one of her main hobbies to think about ways to torture the evil hanyou.

 

* * *

 

Kagome bathed inside the indoor hot spring after her and sesshomarus fight. She had been sitting in the silent spring for about forty minutes. She never missed her home as much as she missed it now. She wanted to talk to her mom now. She wanted to go to the present day japan and use the well as a quick bail out. Maybe if she was in the present times things would be easier. She stared at her arm that had small marks on it from Sesshomarus claws. She started to think about how it would always be like this. Sesshomaru was a demon. His inner beast was probably screaming at him to kill her right at that moment. Why did she hit him? he deserved it. he had no right to get mad. Kagome thought of what he would have done if she would have purified his ass right when he said what he said.

 

What he said…

 

Ill kill you basically.

 

`would Inuyasha have said something like that to me?' she shook the thought away. She didn't love him anymore. She loved Sesshomaru right?

 

`I love Sesshomaru. I love him.' she told herself that and started to feel a little better. She started to think about how her future would be with him.

 

`well Im not going to hit him anymore. And that S.O.B. better not touch me. But did he mean what he said? He's killed so many people before me and he doesn't even like humans. Would he love me more if I was a demon? Stupid demon blood. Stupid Sesshomaru and his stupid stupidness! What would he do if he came back and I was dead? Yeah that would show him he'd probably start crying again. But tensaiga could bring me back.' Yes its true kagome has lost her mind. Maybe it's the pregnancy. Maybe shes just naturally crazy… but as soon as she thought of tensaiga she dunked her head under the water.

 

But then she came back up. Then she floated to the ceiling. Then she was out side looking down at the roof.

 

`whats going on?! Where am i? I know im not dead yet! Oh my god im a soul!' Then she floated slowly away from the castle.

 

 

*back with the cast*

 

Sessh- this chapter was a litte more appealing to me than the rest…

 

Corn- that's only cuz you want to kill someone. You want to kill naraku?
