Enter Zyric, the Inu-puppy! / The Second and Third Shard.

 

“Inuyasha! Look!” Kagome cried gleefully. Inuyasha huffed and walked over to where Kagome was pointing. He saw a tiny inu pup. She was small and weak and judging from the size, she hadn't eaten for days. Inuyasha walked carefully toward the pup. He let out a tiny whine in his throat. The pup replied with a pained whine. Inuyasha carefully picked it up. “Kagome, get something to eat in your bag!” he ordered. She nodded and went. She returned with some bottled water. Inuyasha poured the water into the cap. Kagome looked on with concern. She picked up the cap of water and set it next to the puppy's head. A swollen pink tongue tried to drink the water, but the puppy was too weak. Kagome put some drops of water on to her fingertips. The puppy lapped it up. Inuyasha inspected the puppy for any injuries. Kagome gasped. “Inuyasha, look at the cut on the puppy's side!”

 

Kagome touched the puppy. She felt power like Inuyasha's just a lot weaker. “Inuyasha! That's not a normal puppy! He's a youkai!” The puppy struggled to stand up. When he could she spoke in a raspy, weak voice. “You are correct miko. I am Zyric. I am a youkai, this is my weaker form.” Before their very eyes, she transformed into a lion like dog demon. Zyric opened her mouth and thousands of ice spikes burst from her mouth. “I see you have been with a fire demon like me...” she stated plainly. Inuyasha nodded. “As you saw, I am a water youkai.” She bowed low and gave a low growl indicating that she was no threat. “Why did you find us and introduce yourself?” Inuyasha questioned. “Are you the miko that lost her memory?” Inuyasha shuddered. “How do you know that?” Zyric snorted. “I have two of the shards stupid!” Inuyasha moved. “YOU HAVE TWO OF THE SHARDS?!” he roared. “Whoa, Whoa! Mr. Hothead, nobody's arguing with you!” Zyric bowed again to show that she had respect for the hanyou.

 

Zyric removed the shards from her pouch and gave him to Inuyasha. He looked at them. Miroku's face was on one and Sango's was on another. He gave himself a secret smile. He pulled Zyric into a tight hug. “I…can't…breathe…” Zyric's eyes bulged at the lost of air. “Inuyasha! You're going kill her!” Kagome shrieked. He dropped Zyric. “Sorry” Zyric sat on the floor, panting for air. “Hey… you…never…introduced…yourselves…” she said when she got some oxygen in her system again. “My name is Inuyasha.” The hanyou replied. “I'm Kagome!” the miko answered “Oy! Zyric! What are you doing out here again?” they all turned around. Zyric rushed forward. “I am sorry Master Saya! The miko is the rightful owner of the shards!” Saya's eyebrows went up. “I am pleased to meet you. My name is Saya. Zyric here is one of my trainees.” “You have all the elements in you! Fire, Wind, Earth, and Water!” Kagome said as she read the power surging from him.

 

Saya's eyes widened. He smiled. “I suppose you are a miko then?” Saya replied. Kagome gave a nod. Inuyasha walked forward. “Sir Saya, if you are a youkai that can transform (Saya is an all elements youkai dog) what did you mean by Zyric was your `trainee'?” he asked. “I own a school of training ancient guardians.” Saya replied simply. Inuyasha's ear twitched. “You're confused aren't you?” Saya said lowly. He nodded “Our Training School is secret. The youkai that train at the school are all chosen. Each one of the trainees are descendents of one ancient guardian.” Saya walked to the cliff edge. “The only reason I control all of the elements is because I am one of those guardians.” He turned around. “Saya is only my alias; my real name is Tsu-oni.” Saya shut his eyes. He opened his eyes. He no longer had pupils. His eyes were now solid violet. His claws grew longer. His fangs grew until they hung two inches from his bottom lip. Spikes grew from his back. A roar tore from his throat. Wings slowly grew out of his sides. One of his paws turned into solid rock, water surrounded another. One of his paws was shooting flame, and the last one didn't have anything done.

 

“This is my true form.” Tsu-oni said. His voice was a cross between his original voice and a demonic one. He lifted the normal paw. “The only reason this paw didn't transform is because this is the wind paw.” He turned Zyric. “Zyric, hand the hanyou and miko the shards.” Zyric nodded and gave them the shards. Kagome soon only had 6 spaces left. Inuyasha said to Zyric, “Hey Zyric, when we come back from our quest, will you join our team?” Zyric eyes lit up. He nodded and gave them a big smile. Everybody laughed.

 

“Inuyasha?” Kagome and Inuyasha camped in the woods. Inuyasha replied with a “hmm?” She crawled at him. Inuyasha watched her as she did. `She's perfect.' He thought. She sat down across from him. She gave him a gentle smile. `W-what is she doing?' “Thank you Inuyasha.” She turned to crawl back, but then she felt some warm arms embrace her. Inuyasha settled her head on his chest. She looked up and saw his amber eyes. He leaned down and their lips touched. She ran her fingers through his hair. Her hands moved up to his fluffy ears. She massaged them. Inuyasha's hands were busy running up and down her back. He moved his hands up and brushed his hands lightly under her breasts. He felt her tense up. `That's feels so good.' She thought as he massaged her breasts lightly.
