hey all this is my first fic so lemme kno what you all think and reveiw! flames are accepted. I will post what I have so far and if I get enough reveiws then I'll keep on working on it. so now you all enjoy and remember that italicized stuff is thoughts! ^.^ R/R! of and i don't own inu & co so don't sue me! Shared life chappie numbah 1!

Inuyasha and Kagome are at the well with the usual audience of Miroku , Sango , Shippo and even Myoga. Of course they were a good distance away for safety precautions as the two people of interest screamed at each other with an interesting choice of words.

"Damn it Inuyasha! I want to go home!" Kagome screeched.

"No way in hell you bitch! You're staying here!" snarled an angry Inuyasha.

"I'll only be gone for one fucking day! I'll be back tomorrow!"

"That doesn't matter wench! We need to find the damn jewel shards!"

Kagome took a deep breath to calm herself. How dare he tell me what to do! Kagome was fuming so she suprised everyone when she slightly calmed.

"Inuyasha don't make me say 'it' , I don't want to hurt you so will you please just move away from the well and let me stay one night at my home with my family. I am warning you , I am at wits end and I just need a quiet night at home."

Inuyasha nearly cowered in fear when he heard her tone of voice. It almost frightened him , almost , but he didn't want her to leave. Yes, they do need to find the shards but he'd also miss her like crazy and not be able to rest in peace. So, he decided to say the wrong thing at the wrong time , again.

"No! You're not leaving again! You just got back!"

He started towards her to take her back to Kaede's hut but stopped dead when he saw her face. She was on the verge of tears and now that he thought about it , she has looked pitiful since that fight two nights ago. Her backpack was destroyed by the giant swarm of killer bee youkai. So she had no clean clothes and the ones she wore now were caked in blood and dirt. Her hair was ruffled and she seemed completely miserable.

Inuyasha now felt very guilty and decided to let her leave.

"Kagome I... " but he was cut off by Kagome

"SIT."

Kagome had enough and left saying goodbye as she fell down into the well's depths...

~Back at Kagomes shrine~

"Gramps! Mom! Sota! I'm back from the feudal era!!" Kagome said while wiping a few tears from her eyes.

Kagome told them 3 days ago that she'd be back by today or tomorrow. So she expected to see them looking down at her or to see at least Sota waiting in the well for her. He liked to watch her appear in front of him. What she didn't expect was to see her friend Eri staring at her with wide , wide eyes.

"Oh! umm Eri... hi uhhhh... excuse me, SOTA!"

Kagome saw Sota at the top of the well along with Yuka and Ayame. she was going to have a nice long talk with him later, but now she was in a pickle with no way out, but the truth. Well now was as good as any time to prove her insanity.

"Aww fuck how do I explain 'this' ... shit shit shit..."

Kagome said this very quietly but Eri heard her well enough.

"Excuse me?! Kagome what did u just say?!? I never thought you would even know such words! And while were at it how did you just appear in blue light out of no where?! What is going on!?!"

"Damnit! Um well guys lets go to my room and I'll do my best to try and explain without making me seem fucking insane... oh shit! err ...i mean crap! I swore again! Oh and Sota... you ARE helping me out! And don't tell Mom I swore! You know what'll happen if you do and I find out!"

"I know I know...*cough* well let's all head to Kagomes room then, shall we."

Sota led all the girls to Kagomes' room and closed the door behind them. Kagome then began to speak... very nervously.

"Well I know you all have questions about my little entrance and I decided to just let you all ask and I'll answer, ok?? Oh and sota your only here so I can watch you till I can talk to you privately and maybe help with the questions about here and stuff, ok? Good. Well lets start."

~two hours later~

Ayame finally spoke after the awkward silence started, "I don't believe it. How can ALL that be true???" Yet Eri had her own thoughts.How on earth can kagome be a miko and not tell what I am...

Kagome was about to answer when she felt a jewel shard nearby followed closely by the prickling sensation that told her Inuyasha was near. Judging by the wretched feeling in her stomach, it was most defintely Naraku. Or at least a puppet.

"Guys... you all need to stay here no matter what, unless you want to risk death. Got it? There is going to be a big fight and you all must stay put! Now I gotta go help. Oh! I know! Heres how you can believe me... Watch from my window. The good guys in red got it? Good, now stay put!"

Kagome spoke rapidly as she got her extra bow and quiver. Then she raced down the stairs to the Go-Shinboku to see the events occurring there...

~Feudal era 2 hours after Kagome left~

Inuyasha sat on the Go-Shinboku waiting until Kagome would return. Stupid girl... won't even let me finish my damn sentence... He always sat and sulked until she returned.

Suddenly though, Inuyasha caught a stomach turning scent... Narakus scent. So he immediately followed. His brain went into overload when he noticed exactly where the putrid, foul being was headed.Why is Naraku headed to the well? Is he after Kagomes shards? What if the well lets him through? Will he kill Kagome? I can't let that happen!

Inuyasha finally caught up with Naraku, Just in time to see him jump into the well.

"Shit!" and Inuyasha dove with god-like speed into the well.

~THE FIGHT SCENE errrrrrrr... I mean at the shrine~

Kagome arrived at the Go-Shinboku in time to see Inuyasha unsheath the tetsusaiga and prepare to strike at Naraku.

"Naraku! What the fuck are you doing here?!?"

"Pity Inuyasha, I thought you would have noticed my companion here too..."

Narakus voice was emotionless as he gestured toward his companion. Kikyo.

"Kikyo! Why are you here? Do you wish to take me to hell?"

Kikyo seemed slightly amused but her face went back to being an expressionless void immediately. When she spoke, her voice was cold and lifeless.

"Well Inuyasha , my bussiness here does not concern you. I am here to pay a little 'visit' to your wench. Do you know where she happens to be?"

No sooner did Kikyo ask that she noticed Kagome standing a good distance behind Inuyasha in front of a tree that was to the side. Perfect... Kikyo thought as she notched an arrow and aimed toward her. Then she shot five arrows in a lightning fast procession.

Kagome didn't know what hit her. As soon as she noticed where Kikyo was aiming the arrows peirced through her skin at what seemed like an agonizingly slow pace. The first two hit her right shoulder and left arm. The next two she felt went to her left thigh and right calf. But the worst and most painful arrow was the last. The final blow to Kagome made her produce a bloody scream as the final arrow shot straight through her stomach. Pinning her to the tree behind her that happened to be the Go-Shinboku itself.

As soon as Inuyasha saw the arrows fly did he noticed who was behind him. He turned and saw the last person he wanted to see standing behind him. Kagome. He watched in utter shock as the five arrows hit her one by one while he could do nothing to stop them. No. No no no she can't die.... wait, I can save her!

"Well Inuyasha my bussiness is done so I'll just leave you to this puppet. And remember Inuyasha, if I can't have you, no one can.

Oh, And her is the shard that inhanced my speed so I could hit her.

You need it any way, right. "

Kikyo said her little speech and went back to the well. Inuyasha knew how to save Kagome but he had to hurry. So he raised the tetsusaiga and slashed and the puppet with the Kaze no Kizu.

The puppet was easily destroyed and it vanished leaving nothing but a doll with hair.

Inuyasha wasted no time watching the little scene as he rushed to Kagome. He winced when he heard her whimpers and coughs. Now what did Myouga say again... damnit! Oh well heres to trying...

"Hey, Kagome, I'm going to take these out. Ok?"

"mm'kay..." *cough*

~In Kagomes room~

The girls stared in total shock at Kagome. Sota was too busy crying to look out the window still. They couldn't believe what happened. It all seemed too... unreal. They went and just sat on the bed without realizing that Kagome may need them. They finally came out of the stupor when another scream was heard, though it was much weaker. They all rushed outside (even Sota) and saw the man in red pulling out a third arrow from Kagome. Yuka snapped first.

"Hey, you, just what do you think you're doing?!?"

"Whats it look like im doing. I'm taking these arrows out." Inuyasha said as he pulled out a fourth arrow.

"Stop! We need to get her to a hospital. Now!"

Ayame decided to talk for two reasons. One: Kagome really needed medical attention. And two: this man seemed to be growling at them, and she didn't like it. But since he seemed to have finished with the arrows she said the first thing that came to mind.

"Get away! You're probably making things worse!"

He made no acknoldgment whatsoever that he even heard her except that his growl intensified. It ceased though when Sota suddenly ran up to him, wrapped his arms around him, and cried his eyes out. Luckly he was finished with the arrows and already set Kagome down. All the girls thought he'd push away or something, but they were wrong. Inuyasha wrapped his arms around Sota and did his best to calm him. All the while explaing why he had to let go.

"Hey Sota. You need to let go okay? I know you're worried but if you let go I can save her. Okay? Thanks." His voice was suprisingly calm and gentle. Sota let go nontheless.

"Wh-what are you g-gonna *sniff* do?"

"I'll explain later. If this works right, then I'll be stuck here for a bit while she heals. I've done this before but it's been a while."

*sniff* "mm'kay"

"Now all of you, be quiet! I need to listen. Hey , Kagome, can you hear me?"

"Mmm'hmm" *cough* She sounded pitiful. Her whimpers wretched at his heart, but he didn't know why.

"Kay. I can heal you Kagome. But it's the same way I tried on my mother. Do you remember what I tried to do?"

"Y-yeah. Just do it. I-I 'member what'll happen to m-me.*cough* I don't mind. I'm sure..."

Inuyasha didn't need to be told twice as Kagome passed out. He didn't have much time left, but just enough. He took off her clothes to reach the wounds better. His voice returned to being gruff as he made a cut on his arm.

"You three. Yes you, go make a spot for Kagome and me in the living room. I have to sit next to her. And Sota, get your mom here. She needs to know whats going on."

The group scampered off at a loss of words as Inuyasha began his treatment. First what he did was put a few drops of his blood in each wound. When he was satisfied with that after bandaging her up with peices of his shirt(and he saw his blood take effect) he went on to step two. He cut off a long sheet of his under shirt (an: i dunno what its called) and then cut a slit in her wrist. Just deep enough to bleed for a few minuets. And finally, he tied their cut wrists together in a comfortable position. His blood in her caused the skin to weakly fuse together momentarily.

"All done Kagome," he spoke very softly," now we wait."

He picked up Kagome bridal style and she instinctivly wrapped her free arm around him and clutched at his fire rat coat. He smiled a little bit and headed inside.
