hey all this is my first fic so lemme kno what you all think and reveiw! flames are accepted. Shared life chappie numbah 2!

Once inside he saw the other girls and heard their little conversation about him. The first girl he heard was that Yuka chick that he saw on a little outing to this time to see what Kagome likes about it. She didn't sound too happy so he decided to see what would happen to them when Sota walked in. He was coming back with that 'fone' thingy looking grim. Eri was talking when he entered the living room.

She was nervous but just barely as she spoke the plan that they decided on, "Ok. So where just gonna ... oh. Hey Sota, you can help us so listen k? Good now we are gonna wait for the red dude to fall asleep and then we'll tie him up and drag him out to the stream?

Right? Good now Sota you get to...." She was cut off as Sota stood abruptly and defended his sisters savior.

"How can you even think of doing that to Inuyasha! He's done nothing to you. He SAVED Kagomes life! Countless times too, you all should just leave..."

Inuyasha was getting tired so he chose that moment to barge in with Kagome. They were all dead quiet as he sat on the couch and situated Kagome in his lap. He watched them all untill the unnatural silence was unbearable. So naturally he chewed them out.

"You three girls should be ashamed of yourselves. At least SOTA has a 'brain' in his head. Not only did he remember that I said I was saving Kagome, he also did what I asked him to do. HE didn't plan to tie me up and ditch me. But I bet you didn't even know that I could hear you or smell your nervousness. Feh. You don't even know me. " His voice was mocking and he looked like he didn't care less.

Timing seemed perfect for most the people there as Mrs. Higurashi burst through the door. Sota's call scared her senseless and she was sure that he was wrong, or so she thought. Yet those hopes were dashed to the jagged rocks as she saw Kagome bandaged up in Inuyasha's lap. She practically flew toward her side and tried to grab her hand. But it was tied to Inuyashas'.

"Om my god Inuyasha what happened?! Do you know if she's alright? Will she live? Are her nails longer? Well thats not important.Wait....... why are you tied together?" Mrs. Higurashi was now utterly confused, worried, and somewhat angery.

When Mrs. Higurashi mentioned their little connection, everyone looked and instantly grew confused expressions on their clueless faces. Well since most the important people where here (he didn't wanna wait for Gramps) he went ahead and explained his and Kagomes current situation. He decide to start from when she left that afternoon.

"Alright, no interruptions , got it? I'll explain as best as I can and try to explain the after effects but if you want an accuate story about it then I'll ask Myoga to come over here and tell ya." He was about to start when he noticed a little flea jumping at him.

"No need, Lord Inuyasha. I am here already." Myouga was starting to suck off of Inuyasha's nose. Everyone except Inuyasha was looking around the room for the source of the voice. He just slapped at his nose and caught myouga before he landed on Kagome; which he noticed was still only wrapped in her underwear and his jacket. As if on cue she started shivering from lack of clothing and gripped him tighter with her untied hand. But no one saw and they didn't notice her slight shivers as they watched the little flea demon in his palm. They all jumped when Inuyasha started speaking.

"So Myoga, how did YOU of all creatures get here? Oh hey Sota, do me a favor and get a blanket for Kagome. She's starting to shiver and it's annoying." He made sure it sounded like he was annoyed, but deep down he was worried and glad that she was laying there with him.No matter how much they fought , he still liked her, yet he would never admit it. Expecially since he didn't even know and they were his own feelings, too.

Sota, once again being released from stupor, happily obliged with Inuyashas request, wanting to help his hero. The others just looked at Myoga in utter confusion, untill shock bashed onto their expressions when Myoga answered the question that was asked upon him. "Well , Lord Inuyasha, when you streamed off after that naraku character, I jumped into your hair for I just then arrived and I wished to speak with you. And may I say , Lord Inuyasha, what you did for Lady Kagome was very loyal of you. Now after you tell them what happened I'll explain about what you did."

And after some settleing of the girls, mumbling from Inuyasha, and Sota returning with Kagomes blanket, everyone was settled and warm. Inuyasha began the days events from when after Kagome left.

"Alright, before we start I will say that I am getting pretty sleepy and most likey I'll be sleeping late tomorrow so I'm going to be quick. Got it?" Their feeble nods were enough for him to continue, "Well back in my era after Kagome left I went and sat in the Goshinboku like I normally do. A while after that I noticed that a puppet of our enemy , Naraku, was heading towards the well with my ex girlfriend, Kikyo. When I reached the well I saw the puppet jump into the well so I went after him. When I got to this era I jumped in front of the two and pulled out tetsusaiga.Then..."

"Whats the 'tetsusaiga'? Some kind of gun?" Eri was truely intriged by this story, even though she already saw it. So her natural curiosity got hold. Inuyasha didn't look amused, just very sleepy and pissed.

"My tetsusaiga is my sword . Now no more inturruptions or I won't tell you till tomorrow." more feeble nods, " Now where was I before I was so rudely interrupted. Oh yes, now I took out the tetsusaiga and prepared to fight. Then kagome showed up but I wasn't aware of it because she was downwind so I didn't catch her scent. Then Kikyo said she came to visit her. Before I knew it she shot five arrows really, really fast. For a sec, I thought she aiming for me but then I saw her smile. Which is never good. So I turned around and saw the arrows hit Kagome in each leg, both arms, and her tummy. "

"She was Shot? Oh god! Kagome.." Mrs. Higurashi was to worried to calm herself. So Yuka sat her back down and gestured for the red man to finish up. He looked like he really needed sleep. He was getting circles under his eyes.

"Well after Kikyo shot Kagome, she threw her jewel shard down , it's what made her so fast, and she left back through the well. Then out of pure luck I remembered what I tried to do to save my mother before she died and figured that it could work if I hurried. So I destroyed the puppet and pulled out the arrows. Then after I sent them to get you and make a spot for sleep, which they didn't do, I put some of my blood into her wounds to heal them. But she would live through it unless she had more of my blood in her. So I cut our wrists and tied them together. The demon blood in me caused it to fuse and it won't come undone unless she dies or after 24 hours. Which would be after her transformation is done. And finally I brought her inside and now were all here. Okay now Myoga you know the rest. So now can I go to sleep. Mrs. Higuarshi, do you mind if I borrow your bed? It's bigger and I'm stuck to Kagome until tomorrow."

"Oh of course you can Inuyasha. While you and kagome sleep we will talk to this Myoga guy. But first... where is he?"Mrs. Higuarshi was to confused to object. So best start with answers rather than confusion. Inuyasha was very gruff but still on good behavior. This was Kagomes mother after all.."Here he is. Don't hesitate to squish him if he trys to suck your blood or if he just annoys you. He'd be fine, he's just a flea anyway."Inuyasha dumped Myoga into her hand and went to bed. He fell asleep as soon as he and Kagome were situated on the bed.

The group of girls and Sota watched him fall dead asleep and then went back to the couches. Myoga hopped onto the little table that was in the room. Sota was the first to crack, and finally just blurted out the questions on everyones mind.

"So what did Inuyasha mean by 'transformation' ? Why was he so sleepy? I've never seen hime so tired. What did Inuyasha even do? And why do you call him lord?" The silence drawed out until Myoga decided on a good start and began his own little speech.

"Hello. I am known as Myoga the flea. I am Lord Inuyashas advisor. I am guessing that you do not know Lord Inuyashas heiritage. Well before I go on at all will you please let me know who I am speaking with." All of the group introduced themselves and Myoga continued.

"I shall start with Lord Inuyashas heiritage for that topic i know more of. You see, my lords father was the demon lord of the western lands."

"His father was who?!" Eri's outburst startled everyone and she mentally kick herself for her slip up. "Uhh.. please go on Myoga."

"As I was saying, around 500 years ago I believe, Lord Inuyashas father was the demon lord of the western lands. His fathers name was Taioku. He was a great Inuyoukai and had two sons. His first son, Sesshomaru, is full demon , while Lord Inuyasha is only half. He is half because his mother wasn't the same as Sesshomarus.

"Lord Inuyashas mother was a great and powerful miko that won Taioku's heart. Her name was Yukaiorue. They soon learned to love each other despite the other people and had Lord Inuyasha. Soon after my lords birth, Taioku was killed, leaving Lord Inuyashas half brother to become the youkai of the western lands. When my lord was four years of age, his mother and him were attacked. Lord Inuyasha was unharmed, but his mother suffered from several injuries. My lord tried the same method as he did on Lady Kagome. Which is called the Shared Life Ritual. Unfortunatly, he only got started when Sesshomaru came and killed her for tearing Taioku from his own mother. Lord Inuyasha was left on his own from there."

Eri was in a history lesson. She just had to talk to Kagome now. But that'd have to wait until the other bit was explained. "Okay then Myoga, what's this 'shared life ritual' and what will happen to Kagome because of it?"

Myoga sighed and resituated himself before continuing , " Well now that is a more difficult topic of discussion yet I shall tell you what I know. The Shared Life Ritual is just that, sharing your life force with another. In this case Lord Inuyasha shared his life with Lady Kagome. Only those with immence spiritual powers can live through such a transaction. Fortunatly, Lord Inuyasha is the decendant of a great miko and Lady Kagome is one herself. There is a problem or two with this transaction though. One is the mixture od their blood. Normally if the two people involved are of same species then no bodily change will occur. Yet if the participants are human and demon or half-demon, then the weaker member will change to be the same as the stronger one."

"What do you mean?" Mrs. Higurashi was getting nerveous, yet Sota and the girls seemed unaware.

"I am saying that in this case, Lady Kagome will be transformed to be as much as a half demon as Lord Inuyasha currently is. From now on Lady Kagome is a half inu youkai. She will have the same type of blood as Lord Inuyasha, except her human section of the blood will be her own, keeping her the same person, yet different. Do you understand , my lady?" Myoga was being as simple as possible. He didn't like sugar coating the truth any way. They all just dumbly nodded, too stunned to say anything. Myoga noticed that it was getting dark out doors so it was time to sleep.

"Well everyone when Lord Inuyasha and Lady Kagome wake, I shall explain the side effects of the ritual. For now we might as well check up on them and head to sleep. Who would like to check up on our two heros?" Myoga wanted it quite so only one would be good enough.
