Hey thanks all of you for you lovely reveiws! I am sorry that I made Inu kill Hojo like that but otherwise I would have more complications with him alive in the story.O and i don't have a thingy for snapping necks. It was just the easiest way to kill them fast. That and im not goos at making fight scenes. Shared life chapter number 11 (bout time)

He made it back in a decent amount of time, and arrived at sunset. When he opened the door, he saw that Sota was heading upstairs while Mrs. H was cleaning up after dinner. By the amount of dishes there was, he guessed that Kagome was either still asleep or not hungry. Probably the first one. He walked up to Mrs. H and started the conversation.

"Err... my I talk to you?"

"Why of course Inuyasha. Sit down at the table." He flinched at the word 'sit' but did as he was told. Mrs. H soon did the same and thus, the discussion began.

"So what is it that you want to speak with me about?"

'How to start, how to start.....' "Uhh... you do know that Kagome is a powerful miko right? Well do you know anything about them?" 'Yes... I start with the red gun thing'

"Well, I do know what a miko is but I didn't know that Kagome was a great one. I'll talk with her about it later. Well sorry Inuyasha but all I know is that a miko is a priestess with spiritual powers."

"Oh damn, I'll just speak with Kaede..."

"Inuyasha. Please watch your language."

"What do you mean... I always talk like this."

"I mean that I would appreciate it if you wouldn't swear around me."

"... swear?"

*sigh* "Inuyasha, never say the following words around me. Shit, damn, fuck, bitch, ass, and other such words ok?"

"Oh... umm sure."

"Now I know that you don't want to talk about swearing so why do you want to know about mikos."

"Uhh... I was just wondering cuz... umm... of Kagome and all, being a miko..."

"That's not the reason you wish to speak is it. What do you want?"

"Oh... uhh... I was wondering if... err... you would help me with *cough* umm..."

"Spit it out boy."

"IwaswonderingifyouwouldhelpmefindagoodwaytotellKagomeofmy

feelingsforher*gasp*becauseIamterriblewithwordsandIknowI'llscre witover."

(translation : I was wondering if you would help me find a good way to tell Kagome of my feelings for her because I am terrible with words and I know I'll screw it over.) And of course he slams his head into the table with a loud thunk and leaves it there. He really, really hated asking for help.

"Is that all? Of course I'll help." Inuyasha lifts his head with a paper stuck to his forehead.

"Really? Uhh... how?" He rips off the paper and listens intently.

"Well it's easy. It's either you tell her or I tell her. And if I tell her then she won't be happy that you couldn't do it yourself and she would wait until you said it yourself. So here's what I'll do to help you say it yourself. Just tell her you want to talk about something and when you have your attention just blurt it out. You might have to say it twice but it will let her know and then she will say it back. And hopefully I'll be getting grandchildren soon." Mrs. H started zoning out while Inuyasha blushed and stood up.

"Umm thanks I guess. I'll sleep outside." He rushed outside and jumped onto the roof for some sleep, and to get rid of his blush.

He sat for a good while just thinking of what to do. He was just about to sleep when he thought of the perfect plot. He fell asleep quickly and his dreams contained creating a certian mothers grandchildren.

~the next day~

Kagome woke up with a start and jumped out of bed. But due to her new abilities she jumped too high and hit the ceiling. After some complaints she sat down to think of her dream. It woke her up with a bang at the juciest part. 'I can't believe i had a wet dream... with Inuyasha in it no less... damnit'

She decided to dwell on it later and looked at her alarm clock. Ten o'clock. The first thought that passed through her was being late to school. That is, until she remembered that she quit school.

Just then Inuyasha jumped in the window with a worried expression gracing his features.

"What was that thumping noise?"

"Oh nothing, I just bumped my head on the ceiling by accident." Inuyasha sat with a new expression. Annoyence.

"Why would you..." He was cut off as the phone ringing downstairs was answered and Sota yelled upstairs.

"Kagome, it's for you!" Kagome wasted no time in leaping over all of the stairs to get the phone. Inuyasha just grumbled and walked into the kitchen for a drink. Kagome mentally thanked every god she knew for the distraction. She definately did not want to tell Inuyasha why she hit her head.

"Hello?"

"Kagome have you heard about Hojo?" It was Yuka.

"Why are you calling from school? And what about Hojo?" Kagome didn't exactically favor the thought of telling Yuka that Hojo was dead.

"That doesn't matter. What matters is that he's missing! No one can find him any where. All his brothers are missing too! The school is doing a search for the brain of this place so I have some time to call.Where do you think he is?" As Yuka rambled on Inuyasha listened intently until he had enough. He marched straight up to Kagome and took the phone.

"Yuki right? Whatever... listen, no Kagome will not help the search for that bastard Hojo and ... yes he is too a bastard now let me finish. Here's some advice, if I were you I'd call off you little search party 'cus I know for a fact that him and his brothers are dead and buried." *SLAM* Inuyasha slammed the phone down and faced Kagome.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome was getting angered.

"She was getting on my nerves so I shut her up. Now we need to go back to my era to talk with Kaede. She knows more about this miko shit..."

"Inuyasha, language!" Mrs. H inturrupted from the kitchen. *sigh*

"...this miko 'stuff' and I wanna ask her about that little gun you made. You may not know it but it didn't dissappear after you made it. It's on your desk. Now go grab it and lets go." He listened as Kagome talked to herself about seeing if Mia was alright and seeing everyone else. He was just glad he knew what a gun even was, thanks to Sotas' video games.

~meanwhile , back in the past~

Mia looked around the group eating. She was starting to think of Shippo as a brother and the rest of them as family too. Even the old miko. She just had a hard time believeing it all. Everyone was a little skittish around her but after three days that was past and all of the villagers treated her like all the other children. She even got to play with them. Every morning she would wake up thinking it might have been a dream but each day she learns more and more that it is the truth.

She thought of Inuyasha next. She wasn't sure but she knew she heard his name some place. She just wasn't sure where. Then suddenly it hit her.

~flash back of Mia's~

Mia was hiding behind a tree resting when a man and a woman walked by. She overheard a bit of their conversation as they came into range. The woman was speaking first.

"Still... I just can't believe that a hanyou not only found out that the water god was a fake but beat him too!" The man spoke next.

"He did. My son was there the entire time and claims that the story is true. He tells me that the emperors son hired the hanyou and his companions to save him. Rumor is that the hanyou is searching for the shikon jewel shards."

"What is his name? I am truely curious now."

"My son says he goes by Inuyasha." By then the couple have walked out of hearing range.

*another day*

Mia was once again resting but this time in a tree when two girls sat below her. Deciding that she had nothing better to do, Mia listened to the conversation below her.

"Did you hear about what happened at the demon slayer village a while back?"

"Yeah, the entire village was slaughtered by demons. The only survivor is Sango. She was away when it happened."

"Sango is the best one they had right? I wonder where she is now..."

"It is rumored that she is traveling now with a strange group to avenge her commerads."

"Strange? How so?"

"I mean strange like the group has a monk, a miko, two little demons, Sango of course, and a hanyou! It's said that they all are out to kill the same demon guy."

"Oh I have heard of them... I think their names are Miroku, Kagome, Shippo and Kirara are them demons, and the hanyou I think is Inuyasha."

"Kagome and Inuyasha you say? Aren't they the two who helped Jinenji?"

"Yeah." The two girls stood up and started to walk off.

"Have you heard about the monk, Miroku? Lots of women say that he asks every lovely girl to bear him a child. Weirdo huh?"

~Back with kagome and inuyasha~

Inuyasha was thinking greatly about what Kagomes mom said. Then he decided something. As soon as they went back to the future, he would tell her. When he jumped out of the well and landed he saw that the whole group was there, even Mia. Shippo was sitting on Kagome's shoulder as she said her hellos.

Mia decided not to dwell on the fact that Inuyasha was the same half demon who defeated so many enemies. But she did decide that they could be trusted. She was going to stay in the village.

Kagome was so glad to see everyone and she itched to talk with Mia.

"Mia how are you? Have you decided if you're going to stay in the village?"

"I'm good thank you. Yes I will be staying. I can't believe how nice these people treat me."

"It's they way they are. And the fact that Inuyasha has been around for awhile now." Kagome looked up and saw that it was getting dark. "Lets head to Kaedes' now. Its getting dark and I wish to speak with her."

The group walked in a comfortable silence to Kaedes'. Inuyasha and Kagome were in the lead followed by Miroku and Sango with Mia and Shippo playing in the back. They made it there just as the sun finished setting. Kaede greeted them and they ate dinner before Kagome's and Inuyashas talk with Kaede.

"Hey Kaede, can I have a word with you?"

"Of course Kagome." Kagome explaned the situation and by the time she was done everyone was asleep but her, Kaede, and Inuyasha.

"That is very interesting... Ye have a greater power than any other. Only the greatest of Mikos can materlize weapons for use. And few keep them after battle. I cannot teach you how to make more nor how you made it in the first place. All I can say is count your blessings. Now excuse me but this old woman needs her rest." With that Kaede went to sleep.

Kagome turned to speak to Inuyasha but he fell asleep as Kaede was talking. She decided to get some rest in hopes of talking to him tomorrow. As soon as she layed out her sleeping bag though, she had to go to the restroom. She walked off and found a spot to relieve herself. When she started back she caught a scent that she never smelled before, but knew it anyway.
