HELLO WORLD! I am profoundly sorry about sucha long Hiatus (sp?) and i didnt mean to!!! It just happened. things just didn't fit and then i just ran out of thoughts for awhile. I went brain dead. O dear I am SO SORRY! I just couldn't write! I would try and it just wouldn't fit.! And then i lost my keyboard (long story) and it just wouldn't happen! I am SO SORRY. It's here now though so no pitchforks and torches? hopefully. Well my disclaimer. Shared life chapter number 16! FINALLY!

"Kag, lets forget about looking for this miko person."

"What?! Why?" Kagome and Inuyasha were currently discussing what to do while the cops started to advance on them slowly. And of course they made sure that they weren't heard.

"It's not really necessary, right?"

"Well not really."

"Then lets go. We'll figure out what to do later."

"Fine." Kagome looked at the cops to see them almost apon them. Before she could stop him, Inuyasha jumped onto the building they were next to. Which happened to be about a four story building. One cop sat there gaping at the boy on top of the building while the other faced Kagome. She smiled sweetly and spoke while she jumped onto the building, making sure they heard her.

"I'm sorry boys but you must understand that geting arrested is not an option for us. Later guys. " Kagome made a graceful landing next to Inuyasha and took a last look at the cops. They were just kind of staring with wide eyes and gaping mouths. She laughed and looked at Inuyasha. He was laughing at them mentally. She could tell by his eyes. Just then Inuyahsa looked at her. He was still smiling slightly.

"Come on Kagome, lets head back to the shrine." The two run off towards the sunset in the sky and the shrine.

~with the coppers~

After staring at the last spot they saw the white haired teens for a good ten minuets, the two snapped out of it as one of the gang members woke up. He sat up and started rubbing the lump on his head, not noticing the cops watching him. He was busy cursing all dumpsters. He looked up and saw the two cops watching him intently. He jumped up and yelled out loud enough to wake his buddies.

"QUICK, IT'S THE FUZZ!" The gang jumped up and ran straight past the baffled cops. The cops watched them run off and just shruged it off in order to go looking for a doughnut to eat.

~at the shrine~

The two hanyou teens were walking up the steps to the shrine at a leisurely pace. The sun was quickly setting and all was peaceful. Kagome broke the silence by speaking to Inuyasha.

"Hey, Inu?"

"Hmm?" Inuyasha was walking up the steps with his hands on the back of his head and looking up at the sky.

"Why should we forget about looking for a miko?"

"Well, you already know how to do this shit so what would the miko lady be able to do? Not much I can think of."

"Oh. I guess your right." Kagome and Inuyasha got to the top of the stairs just as the sun finished setting. Night was now upon them full force and the new moon snuck up on them. Inuyahsa changed as expected and he also got an answer to one of his old questions.

Inuyasha watched as Kagome changed back into her old form. She didn't get shorted but her hair became black again and her claws and fangs disappeared. She blinked and her eyes went from silver to blue. It was a beautiful thing to witness, her transformation.

Kagome was confused for a moment until it clicked.

"The new moon's my human night too isn't it?"

"Looks like it. Lets go inside." The two walked into the house to see the Higuashi's eating dinner. Mom looked up at the two and saw them as humans.

"Oh dear, what happened?" None of them knew about the human nights. After every one was up to speed on the transforming and after they ate, Mom Sota and Gramps went to bed. Kagome went into the living room with Inuyasha right behind her. Kagome sat down and spoke to Inuyasha as he sat down on the other end of the couch.

"Inu lets go do something."

"Like what?"

"Hmm... I don't know, maybe I should ask the girls."

"Girls? You mean those annoying friends of yours?"

"Yea, I'll see what they're doing." Kagome went to the phone and dialed Eri's number. Soon enough, Eri answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey Eri. Me and Inuyasha were wondering if you and the girls were doing anything tonight that we could join in on."

"Hmm... well the girls are staying the night. But I'm pretty sure my mom wouldn't like Inuyasha staying over... Well then I guess no."

"Oh, alright then. Well I'll take to you later." They finished the goodbyes and Kagome hung up.

Kagome was at a loss of something to do. For a spilt second she thought of going to the feudal era but butted that thought out quickly. They still had to finish the two week agreement. They only had a week left anyway. They could wait it out if necessary.

"So Inuyasha, anything inparticular you want to do?"

You. "Erm, i don't know what there is to do." Inuyasha laid back on the couch in all his human glory and started to doze off. Kagome watched him for a moment trying to decifer whether or not he was trying to sleep. Eventually she gave up and went to see why Sota liked those games of his so much.

~approx. 2 am~

Inuyasha woke from his little nap by hearing Kagome scream something obscene. He rushed to Sota's and nearly broke down his door to see Kagome flipping off the tv and throwing the little controller thing across the room. She was swearing the little box to hell too.

"Kagome... whats the problem."

"I lost! That fucking game beat me! How dare it ! I was the best there! How could I lose? Fucking game. " She nearly broke the game system when she hit the off button. But once it was off she was close to normal again.

"So Inu whats up? We still got a few hours till sun up. Anything you want to do? How about I make you some food?" Before he had a chance to answer Kagome walked by him and to the kitchen to cook up something. Inuyasha, with a lack of aything to do, turned on the game Kagome was playing. The words 'Mortal Combat 4' flashed onto the screen. This could be fun.... popped into Inuyasha's head and soon he was lost into the world of games and virtual bloodshed, after he learned how to use the controller of course.

~about an hour later~

Kagome went in search of Inuyasha to tell him that she made some Oatmeal Scotchies (An. cookies people!) and whipped up some ramen for him. She checked the living room and den but he wasnt there. She didnt hear any noise in the bathroom so she went to check upstairs. By the time she reached the top stair she started to hear some noise in Sota's room. She went in to see Inuyasha playing Sotas game and his little character on the screen was doing his victory dance. Inuyasha looked at Kagome with a smirk on his face. Kagome just gaped at him. He beat the game in just one hour. She was playng for 3 earlier and she couldn't beat it. Around then Inuyasha spoke up.

"How did you have such a problem with that Kagome? It was easy." Kagome jut glared at his 'i'm better than you' look and mumbled.

"There's food downstairs. I'm going to sleep. Goodnight." Kagome turned back and went to her room to sleep. he got up to follow her but just then the slight scent of butterscotch assulted him. It was weak but there so of course he went to investigate.

Downstairs in the kitchen Inuyasha found a large plate of cookies and a big bowl of ramen. He silently thanked Kagome and set forth to eat the bowl of ramen befor it got too cold. The cookies could wait a bit.

~With Kagome~

Kagome heard Inuyasha go down the stairs and sighed. She didnt want the food she made to go to waste. So while Inuyasha did whatever downstairs, kagome changed, brushed her teeth, and went to bed. Soon enough, she was fast asleep and dreaming of her beloved hanyou.

Around twenty minutes after Kagome fell asleep, Inuyasha walked into the room munching on a cookie. Soon the cookie was gone though and Inuyasha sat down to watch Kagome sleep. He spent a good hour or so memorizing everthing he could about her sleeping form. She was so completely relaxed and peaceful that Inuyasha had no chance. By 4:30 both Kagome and Inuyasha were asleep in Kagomes bed, blissfully dreaming of one another.

~Next Morning~

Kagome woke to the sounds of the outdoors. The sun wasn't up yet but it would be very soon. So Kagome started to wake slowly. She just didnt want to get up from the warm embrace she was in.Embrace? Oh wait.... Kagome looked and saw a human Inuyasha hugging kagome from behind as he slept. Kagome, being incredibly comfortable, decide to try to fall back asleep and enjoy his closeness. Then the sun rose and they changed. Inuyasha, being used to the change, stayed asleep through it. Kagome, however, didn't expect to suddenly just change back into a hanyou. So as soon as things popped back to being high powered, Kagome got a huge headache. The lights from outside damn near burned her eyes Fucking sun and the birds went from chirping quietly to skwaking as if they were being eaten. Kagome curled up into a ball around Inuyasha's arms and clutched her head. It hurts so bad -whimper-

Inuyasha felt kagome move and then he heard a slight whimper. He opened his eyes to see her in a fetal position clutching her head as if it were about to pop off and she was trying to hold it down. Inuyasha immedatly scooped her up and curled up with her at the corner of the bed knowing exactically what she was going through.

"Shhh, Kag it'll pass. Don't worry it'll be over soon." Inuyasha held her tightly and spoke calmly to Kagome and within a few minutes the sun didn't seem to hurt so bad and the birds started to quiet down. And as Inuyasha said, things passed and returned to normal, leaving kagome with a miniscule headache.

"Thank you Inu." He nodded and Kagome relaxed physically and Inuyasha loosened his hold. Soon Kagome had no trace of an ache and with that she stood up, much to Inuyashas and her own protest.

"Are you hungry? Momma and them aren't up yet since it's so early so I guess i'll make breakfast. Wanna come with me?" "Sure." Kagome walked down to the kitchen with Inuyasha hot on her heels. And soon enough Kagome was making pancakes and eggs whilst explaning to Inuyasha what the kitchen appliances where for.

By 7 the entire family had woken up and sat down for breakfast. kagome got many thanks and compliments for the pancakes and by 7:30 Sota had left for school and Mom and Gramps went off to work, either around the shrine or at work. Thus once again the two hanyous were left to their own devices.

"So Inuyasha, want to try training some more today? I'm sure we can't go back to that old training sight but we should be able to find something."

"Why not. How about we just work on the hand to hand combat? It doesn't need much space since there isn't as much jumping about or making any real large attacks. Any space in mind?"

"Well it is Saturday, we could work at my old schools field as long as we don't do anything to damage the property. I think it will be big enough for hand to hand. It might even be bing enough for use to use swords. We could buy some from this store on the way, Boscos* , They would have what we needed."

"I don't need a sword. I have one."

"Yes I know but a nomal sword wouldn't last long against it. It would be fairer if we both had similar swords. And we'll only use them until I get my new sword from Totosai. Then we can train with them. Okay? Lets go."

"Feh. Fine lets get these 'normal swords' and train." kagome looked around for a moment and as soon as she figured out which way Boscos was, she jump up and nearly flew to the place. Inuyasha quickly jumped up and followed his love.

~At Bosco's~

Inuyasha followed Kagome into the little knick knack shop. It had so many useless things at first glance that he was suprised it was open. Not even worth wearing this stupid hat. He followed Kagome's eyes though and saw that the entire wall was covered with different swords or daggers. Though some looked purely decorative, he could see some pretty painful looking ones. Kagome started walking towards the wall and Inuyasha followed. Kagome walked down towards the simpler looking swords and Inuyasha stayed by the fancier ones.

Kagome stood looking at the simple swords and after a good twenty minutes, she finally decided to ask for assistance.

"Excuse me, can one of you guys help me out?" Kagome asked aloud absentmindedly. She wasn't very loud though so no one heard her but Inuyasha. He walked over to see her looking at a few individual swords. After looking for a moment, he decided on two similar swords. They both had the exact same structure, but one was longer and the hilts were different colors.

"Kagome? I think we should get those ones."

"Hmm? Oh the red one and the purple one?"

"No, the red one and gold one."

"Ok, they look good to me.I'll go get an assistant. I don't think jumping up to grab them would be good." Kagome walked towards the counter to get an assistant while Inuyasha waited. Hmm... What are these? Inuyasha looked at the shelves below the swords to see a large collection of what seemed to be books. He picked one up and read the title 'Chobits'. Though when he opened it up and saw a girl without a shirt he quickly put it back. I'll ask Kagome about these...

Kagome was having a hard time at the counter. Apparently, she reminded the boys at the counter of a manga character because of her hair and they were arguing on whether or not she was hotter than whoever this "Chii" character was. Soon though she had enough and slamed her fist down on the counter, shocking both boys into silence.

"Thank you. Now will one of you please get two swords down for me?" She walked back to Inuyasha with both boys following her, one with a ladder.

Kagome pointed out the two wanted swords and waited for the foolish boys to get them. While she waited, Inuyasha asked her something.

"Kag, what are all these books?" He pointedly looked at all the shelves of books and Kagome got what he ment.

"Inu, these are manga books. Basically they are comics with more pages. Though some are more explicit than others, most are pretty good to read."

"Oh." Inuyasha looked up to see one of the boys having a hard time getting the gold hilt sword of the rack while the other held the red one. Inuyasha, being impatient, decided to take matters into his own hands.

"Move. I'll get it."

"Well ok but don't tell our boss we let you." The boy got down and Inuyasha easily climbed the ladder to see why the sword was stuck. He scoffed when he saw it was tied to the rack to prevent it from falling. He easily untied the sword and brought it down. He gave it to the boy that held the other sword.

"We would like to buy those now." Kagome's voice seemed to wake them up as they went to the counter with the weapons, completely leaving the ladder behind. Kagome and Inuyasha went up to the counter and wait for the boys to ring up the total.

"That will be $253.95. Though for you, I'll knock it down to two hundred. Would you like the scabbards that go witht hese swords?" Inuyasha glared at the boy but Kagome ignored it.

"Thanks. Yes please." Kagoem paid with her mothers credit card and soon they were leaving the store with two new swords on their hips.
