Chapter 14
P.E., Yuske, and work.
Mr. P. announced, "4 laps!" then blew his whistle.
25 minutes later Kouga, Ayame, Bankotsu, and I were finished.
We had gotten our drinks of water and were sitting down in a circle in the grass talking.
Ayame looked at me and queried, "So Cathy, why didn't you tell me you two were dating?"
I looked at her and answered, "Because we just started this morning."
Bankotsu added seriously, "Tomorrow night is gonna be our first actual date."
I beamed at him.
Ayame declared seriously, "I am happy for you both!"
I smiled and said, "Thanks!"
Then I asked, "So are you and Kouga dating yet?
Ayame blushed and answered, "Yes!"
I exclaimed happily, "It's about damn time! I am happy for you both!"
Kouga grinned and mentioned, "Thanks!"
Ayame blushed even more.
We were all talking happily when Yuske stormed over to me and demanded, "What the hell is this I hear about you dating someone now!?"
I glared at him and snapped angrily, "It is NONE of your damn business Yuske!"
Bankotsu stood up as he stood in front of me protectively and ordered angrily, "Leave MY GIRL alone, you ass!"
Yuske became very angry, glared daggers at Bankotsu and demanded, "What the HELL do you mean YOUR girl!?"
Bankotsu snapped angrily, "Just exactly what I said! Cathy is MY girl now! You were stupid enough to loose her and now she is my girl!"
Then he glared into Yuske's eyes and informed him dead seriously, "I won't tolerate you harassing her!"
Kouga moved to stand beside Bankotsu and stated smugly, "That's right!"
Then glared at Yuske and informed him, "You fucked up Yuske and broke her heart! Now she is with him and happier then I have EVER seen her! So move on ass wad!"
Yuske glared at Bankotsu and stated icily, "It dosen't matter anyways, you are wasting your time with that bitch! Her legs are padlocked at the fucking knees!"
Bankotsu walked over and stood right in his face and informed him angrily, "Unlike some jackasses around here, I am NOT dating her for sex! You jerk! I am dating her because she is one helluva great gal!"
Then he smirked at him and stated, "At least I am smart enough to see that!"
Then Bankotsu warned dead seriously, "If you EVER insult my girl again, I WILL tear your sorry ass apart! GOT IT!?"
Yuske became furious and tried to punch Bankotsu, but he dodged it and moved me and him both out of the way.
Yuske fell flat on his face.
Yuske angrily jumped up and attacked Bankotsu again.
Bankotsu blocked the punch and threw Yuske's to the ground again.
Yuske got up on his hands and knees panting while trying to catch his breath.
Bankotsu warned sternly, "Don't you EVER come near my girl again! You worthless piece of shit!" while glaring at my ex.
Then Bankotsu and I turned around and walked into the gym, showered and changed back into our regular clothes.
We walked back out into the gym and leaned against the wall.
I looked at him said seriously, "Thank you Ban!"
He stared me dead in the eye and insisted seriously, "I meant what I said Cathy! You are the ONLY girl I want!"
I smiled brightly at him.
A few minutes later Ayame walked over to join us and was followed by Kouga.
They had already showered and changed as well.
Kouga looked at me and informed me smugly, "Yuske is never gonna harass you again, Cathy!"
Ayame added, "After you two left he and Kouga had a little "chat" and Yuske decided to leave you alone." her emerald eyes twinkling with amusement.
Kouga added, "After getting his ass kicked by you, today with Bankotsu, and our little "chat"; he has decided not to bother you anymore!"
I smiled and said, "Thanks guys."
The bell rang and we all walked over to the school entrance together.
Bankotsu walked me over to Sango's car, pulled me into a quick kiss and whispered, "See ya soon babe."
I nodded, kissed his cheek then climbed into the car.
He leaned in through the window again, quickly kissed my lips, then walked off to meet Hojo over at the lab.
Sango smirked as she started the engine then drove us over to the diner.
On the way over to the diner Miroku mentioned, "So Cathy, he seems nice."
I smiled and answered, "Yeah he is!"
Sango stated happily, "He sure isn't shy about kissing you either!"
I smiled and answered, "Yeah I know! By the way, he said he and his brothers are coming to the diner for dinner again tonight."
Sango and Mirkou shared a look in the review mirror and smiled at each other.
Sango pulled into a parking spot then cut the engine and we got out of the car and walked inside the diner.
Work..
Our boss greeted us as we entered and said, "Hi girls."
We smiled and answered, "Hey boss."
Sango and I walked into the back and put on our aprons.
Then grabbed our order pads, and pencils and clocked in.
After clocking in Sango and I walked out and started taking orders.
About 20 minutes later Kouga and Ayame came in and sat at one of my tables.
I smiled, walked over and greeted, "Hey you!"
They smiled and answered, "Hey!"
I asked, "So what can I get you?"
Kouga answered, "I want a number 6, rare, with a baked potato, and an iced tea with a slice of lemon."
I smiled and made the order.
Then I asked Ayame, "And for you?"
Ayame replied, "A number 6, also rare, with mashed potatoes, and an iced tea with a slice of lemon."
I made the order and mentioned, "I will be right back with your drinks, and your food will be done shortly."
Then I smiled, walked over, got their teas and added a slice of lemon to each tea."
I carried them over to the table and placed them in front of my friends,then walked off again.
I put up the orders and saw to my next table.
A man, woman, and 2 kids were sitting there.
I smiled and questioned, "What can I get you?
The man smiled and replied, "2 kids number 3's, with sprites, a number 5, with a coke, and a number 4, with a lemonade."
I made the orders.
I smiled and informed them, "I will be right back with your drinks and the food will be here shortly."
I walked over, got their drinks and took them to them.
Then I walked over, put up the orders and carried Kouga and Ayame's orders over to them.
I smiled, placed their orders in front of them and suggested, "If you two need anything else, just let me know, k?"
They smiled and nodded.
I added, "Have fun!" as I walked off.
A few minutes later I gathered the family's food and took it to them.
I smiled and mentioned, "If you need anything else just let me know."
The man nodded and I walked off again.
Over the next hour I handled 4 more tables and checked periodically on all of them.
I walked over to the table with the family and asked, "Can I get you anything else?"
The man looked at me and answered, "Just the tab."
I smiled, placed the tab on the table and walked off.
I then walked over to Ayame and Kouga and queried, "Anything else?"
They smiled and Kouga replied, "Just the tab."
I nodded, placed the tab on the table and said, "Have a nice night you two!" as I winked at them.
Then I walked off, and began buffing the tables in my area, and collected my tips.
It was only an hour until I get to clock out.
Bankotsu and his brothers walked in and were shown to one of my tables.
I smiled, walked over and greeted, "Hello again all, So what can I get for you?"
Bankotsu answered with a charming smile on his handsome face, "A number 5, with an iced tea, with a slice of lemon, and a kiss."
I laughed, leaned over a lightly kissed his cheek and he grinned from ear to ear.
Suikotsu looked at me and answered, "A number 7 with a coke."
Jakotsu supplied, "I will have a number 8, well done, no pickles, and a diet coke."
I smiled and made the orders then stated, "I'll be right back with your drinks and the food will be done shortly."
I walked over, got the tea and added a slice of lemon, then got the coke, and diet coke and returned to their table.
I smiled as I placed their drinks in front of them.
Bankotsu reached out and wrapped an arm around my hip, grinning then faced his brothers and announced, "Guys, you remember Cathy from last night! Well Cathy and I are now dating."
Suikotsu said, "Congrats bro!"
Bankotsu grinned.
Jakotsu looked at me a moment then exclaimed in awe, "You must really be something for Bankotsu to want to date you!"
Bankotsu laughed and declared dead seriously, "She sure is!"
I smiled and mentioned, "I gotta get back to work now. See ya later."
Bankotsu kissed my cheek, then released my hip.
I walked off and started refilling the condiments.
A few minutes later their food was ready, so I walked over and gathered it, and carried it over to them.
I smiled and suggested, "If you need anything else just let me know ok."
They nodded, then I smiled and walked off.
45 minutes later I had all the condiments re-stocked.
I walked back over to Bankotsu and his brothers again and asked, "Can I get you all anything else?"
They shook their heads no, so I placed their tab on the table, smiled and walked off again.
A few minutes later Bankotsu walked over to me and said, "We are leaving now, see you tomorrow babe."
I nodded, he gave me a quick kiss and whispered, "Sweet dreams babe."
I smiled and answered, "You too!"
He nodded and walked off.
I buffed the table and collected my tip.
Then I carried the dishes to the back where I put them in a pile for Miroku.
I went over to and sat in the break room for my last 8 minutes of my shift.
A few minutes later Sango joined me.
I removed my tips, put them in my tip bag, and removed my apron.
Sango did the same.
A few minutes later we all clocked out and walked out to her car.
Sango questioned, "So Cathy, how did it go with Bankotsu and his brothers tonight?"
I smiled and answered, "It was fine."
Then I added, "Kouga and Ayame showed up tonight as well."
Sango asked, "Are they finally dating now?"
I nodded.
Sango happily exclaimed, "Well it's about damn time!"
I agreed, "I know, right!"
Sango pulled up at my place and I said, "By the way Bankotsu's gonna pick me up after work Saturday, k?"
Sango nodded and mentioned, "Okay."
I smiled, climbed out and said, "Night you two."
They replied in unison, "Night."
Then I walked into my house and Sango drove off.
I yelled, "I'm home!"
Inuyasha walked up to me and asked, "How did it go tonight?"
I smiled and teased, "I am happy to report no problems of any kind tonight!"
Inuyasha nodded and exclaimed, "Good!"
I informed him, "And after tutoring tomorrow night, Bankotsu and I have decided to go see a movie. So you won't need to pick me up, k."
Inuyasha nodded.
I added, "And after work Saturday Bankotsu is gonna drive me over to see Ginger, then we are gonna spend the day chillin out together."
Inuyasha nodded again.
Sesshomaru walked in and stated coolly, "Just make sure you take you cell phone!"
I nodded and promised to take my phone.
Then I mentioned, "Well, I better go call Kags like I promised, then I am gonna shower and head to bed. Night guys!"
They replied in unison, "Night!"
Inuyasha added, "Tell Kaggie I said I love her and wish her sweet dreams for me!"
I nodded.
I walked up to my room then picked up the phone and dialed Kags number.
She picked up on the 2nd ring.
I kicked off my shoes, and socks then stored my tip bag in my drawer and said, "Hey Kags."
She answered happily, "Hey Cathy, So spill already!"
I laughed and stated, "Bankotsu and his brothers showed up an hour before I was scheduled to get off. It went fine."
Then I added happily, "Plus Kouga and Ayame showed up tonight on a date!"
Kagome squealed with joy and suggested, "It's about damn time they realized it!"
I laughed and agreed, "Yup! Sure is."
Then I informed her happily, "As soon as I told Yash I was calling you; he said to tell you he loves you and wish you sweet dreams for him!"
She cooed, "Aww, he is so sweet!"
I smiled and informed her seriously, "He is crazy about you girlfriend!"
She replied, "I am about him too! Guess I better call him after we are done."
I laughed and replied, "Guess so!"
Then I yawned and stated, "Look girl, I am beat, it was a BUSY night! So I am gonna let ya go k, bye Kags, see ya tomorrow."
She said "Ok, bye Cathy."
I hung up and a minute later I heard the phone ring down stairs.
I smiled, undressed, walked into my bathroom and took my shower.
I walked out with a towel wrapped around me.
I walked over to my dresser, pulled out my white night shirt, pulled it on along with some fresh panties.
I returned to my bathroom and hung the towel on the rack, then walked over to my bed and fell into my bed.
Within minutes I was fast asleep.
