Chapter 19
Friday morning, homeroom, math, science, history, art and a chat with Sesshomaru
I awoke to my alarm clock going off, hit the off button, and stood up.
I walked into my bathroom, showered, and washed my hair.
I walked back into my room, pulled out clean under things and socks, pulled them on, and walked over to my closet.
I decided to wear my bright red v neck sleeveless shirt and a long bright red skirt that reached to my ankles.
I dressed and put on my dressy sneakers, then walked downstairs after tying my hair into a set of pig tails.
I cooked pancakes for breakfast and we all sat down and ate.
After wards I did the dishes while Yash and Sess got ready to go.
I ran to my room, collected my backpack, and clipped my cell phone onto my hip.
I pulled the note and five dollar bill out of my jeans pocket and set them on top of my dresser.
I threw the jeans into my laundry basket, walked back downstairs and we walked out to the car.
Inuyasha drove us to school and parked the car.
I got out, grabbed my bag, and walked over to my locker.
I opened my locker and put my cell phone on the shelf in the top, and locked it back up.
Bankotsu walked over and said, "Morning beautiful!"
I smiled and mentioned, "Morning handsome!"
He tugged lightly on one of my pig tails and stated amused, "Cute!"
I laughed and said, "Thanks."
He took my hand and we walked over to the cafeteria.
He got his food and we sat down at an empty table.
While he ate he smiled at me and mentioned, "You look really nice today!"
I smiled and said, "Thanks."
He finished eating and we walked towards homeroom holding hands.
We entered the class, walked over to our desks, and set his books, and my backpack down.
Then he pulled me into a hug and wrapped his arms around my waist.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned into his embrace.
He leaned down and lightly nibbled my lips.
I opened my mouth and his tongue entered my mouth and started a tug of war.
After a few minutes we pulled back and smiled at each other, sat down, and the bell rang.
Yuki strolled in and once again glared at us.
Once again Bankotsu and I rolled our eyes.
Bankotsu lightly tugged one of my pigtails and twirled the ends of it around his long and thick finger.
I smiled at him and he grinned at me.
He asked, "Any plans after the science lab, today?"
I smiled and answered, "Nope."
He suggested, "Good. Then how about we go out tonight?"
I smiled and nodded my agreement.
He smiled, and started twirling my hair around his finger again, and I smiled at him.
He tugged my hair enough to pull me into a quick kiss then he released my hair, and we both laughed.
Then he suggested, "Hey Saturday, why don't you bring a duffel bag and a couple changes of clothes with you."
I answered, "Ok, but why?"
He stated, "I thought you could spend the night at my place Saturday night and Sunday night as well. Sunday my brothers are both gonna be gone, so we could spend the entire day getting to know each other. I could drive you to school Monday."
I smiled and agreed, "Okay! I will make sure to bring my overnight bag then."
He continued, "If you are okay with it, I would like you to stay at my place tonight too."
I smiled and replied, "We would have to stop by my place so I can grab some things." and he agreed, "Thats fine."
I smiled and informed him, "I have to be at work at 6 am tomorrow, which means I gotta be up by quarter after 5 at the latest!"
He nodded and replied, "I will drive you and I will make sure to set my alarm clock."
I nodded and agreed, "Alright. After the science lab we can stop by my place and I will pack my overnight bag. Then we can go."
He smiled, assured, "Don't worry! I just want us to spend the weekend getting to know each other! I won't try anything!"
I smiled and mentioned, "I trust you Ban!" and he grinned and nodded.
The bell rang and we walked to math class.
MATH.
We walked in holding hands and took our seats.
Ayame and Kouga also walked in holding hands.
I got the recipes out of my backpack and walked over to Ayame.
I handed her the recipes and said, "Here Ayame, the recipes I promised you!"
She smiled and took them and mentioned, "Thanks again Cathy!"
I smiled and replied, "Anytime!"
I walked back over to my seat and sat down.
The bell rang and Mr. A. passed out our assignments.
Mr. A. announced, "Groups of two, and begin."
Bankotsu and I sat together and did our assignments.
20 minutes later we turned them in, sat down and talked quietly.
10 minutes later Ayame and Kouga joined us.
Kouga tugged one of my pig tails and raised a brow in question at me.
I laughed and explained, "I just felt like doing something different today."
He noticed I was in a skirt instead of my usual jeans and said, "I see that!"
Ayame added, "Well I think she looks cute with pigtails!"
I smiled and said, "Thanks Ayame."
She nodded.
Bankotsu wrapped my hair around his finger and stated, "I must agree with you Ayame! She looks gorgeous in them!"
I blushed and mumbled, "Thanks."
Bankotsu laughed and held my hand.
Kouga mentioned with a surprised look, "Cathy, I haven't seen you in anything but jeans since shortly after you broke up with dirt bag!"
I laughed and answered, "I know Kouga. I felt like a bit of a change this morning."
Kouga nodded, looked at Bankotsu and declared impressed, "Yet another wonder you have worked on her!"
I laughed, Ayame smiled, and Bankotsu, and Kouga grinned.
Ayame and I started discussing recipes and Kouga and Bankotsu discussed cars.
10 minutes later Ayame had written down 3 more of my recipes, and Inuyasha, Rin, Sesshomaru, and Kagome all joined us.
Rin exclaimed happily, "You look so cute in pigtails, Cathy!"
I smiled and said, "Thanks."
Kagome smiled because she noticed I was also in a skirt.
A minute later Miroku and Sango joined us.
Sango mentioned, "Aw Cathy! You look so cute! Love your pigtails!"
I smiled, blushed, and said, "Thanks."
Miroku added, "And a skirt as well! Cathy you look good enough to eat!"
Sango sent him a warning look and Bankotsu glared at him.
I sighed and explained, "A few years ago Miroku went around grabbing every females ass he could reach. Sango has finally put a stop to that by repeatedly slapping him upside the head and refusing to speak to him! But every now and again his inner perv comes to the surface."
Sango nodded, Miroku blushed, and everyone else but Bankotsu laughed.
Bankotsu stared him dead in the eye and warned, "He had better keep it to his self! Along with his hands!"
I nodded and agreed, "You're damn right he better!"
Sango added seriously, "If he knows what is good for him he will!" while glaring at her boyfriend.
I mentioned seriously, "A pissed of Sango is NOT something you want to see more than once!"
Sango laughed and added, "Neither is a truly pissed off Cathy! You can't mistake the family resemblance when she looses her temper!"
I nodded my head and proclaimed, "Damn straight!"
Inuyasha stated deadly serious, "Even I avoid getting her that pissed! Because when she is, WATCH OUT!"
Everyone laughed.
A few minutes later the bell rang and we all left the class.
Bankotsu and I walk over to our science class holding hands.
SCIENCE.
We walked in, and walked over to my desk.
I placed my back pack on my desk.
Bankotsu gave me a quick brush of his lips on mine then walked over to his seat.
I sat down in my desk.
A minute later Hakudoshi walked by, and Naraku, and Heiten sat in their desks, and the bell rang.
Mrs. H. announced, "As long as there is no trouble, and you don't get to loud! You may discuss you projects with your partners.
Heiten stood up and tugged on one of my pig tails, I turned around and slapped his hand away.
Heiten grinned and leaned down into my face.
I shoved him away and said evenly, "Back off!"
He got back into my face, smirked and said, "Make me!"
I shoved him away harder and he almost fell over.
Hakudoshi walked up, followed closely by Bankotsu, stepped between us and warned, "Back off Heiten!"
Heiten stared at Hakudoshi for a minute, then smirked at me and walked away.
I said, "Thanks Hakudoshi."
He nodded.
Bankotsu looked at me and asked, "Are you alright?"
I smiled and nodded.
Bankotsu nodded and walked back over to Hojo.
Hakudoshi and I sat and discussed what we planed to do in the lab this afternoon and about how we planed to fine tune our project.
Hakudoshi stared me dead in the eye and informed me, "While I am around Heiten will back off, but only to a point! Your boyfriend is just as protective of you as your cousins are."
I nodded and smiled.
Hakudoshi continued, "That is good because Heiten and my cousin are getting very upset! They will likely try something sometime next week."
I nodded and said, "Thanks for the warning!"
He nodded and we went back to discussing our project.
The last ten minutes of class I put my notebook and stuff into my bag.
Bankotsu and Hojo joined me and Hakudoshi.
Bankotsu looked at Hakudoshi and said, "Thanks for earlier."
Hakudoshi nodded.
Bankotsu stood behind me and said seriously, "Don't worry Cathy!"
I smiled at him and replied, "I have you with me, why would I be worried!?"
Bankotsu nodded, and smiled, and Hakudoshi walked off.
Inuyasha walked over to Bankotsu and said dead seriously, "We need to talk after class!"
Bankotsu nodded and Inuyasha walked off.
I had a puzzled look on my face, Bankotsu lightly squeezed my shoulder in a comforting manner and I smiled.
A minute later the bell rang and I walked out the door with Bankotsu.
Bankotsu hugged me and said, "See ya at lunch k babe!"
I hugged him back and answered, "Okay."
Then I walked off to my history class and Bankotsu and Inuyasha talked.
With Inuyasha and Bankotsu...
Inuyasha looked him dead in the eyes and said, "I need to ask a big favor of you man!"
Bankotsu held his gaze and encouraged, "Sure! Go for it!"
Inuyasha mentioned, "Normally I would ask Kouga, however since you and Cathy are dating now, I am asking you."
Bankotsu nodded.
Inuyasha continued "Sesshomaru is going to be away on a business trip all week next week and Rin is going with him."
Bankotsu nodded again.
Inuyasha continued, "Kagome's mom, brother, and grandfather, are going away next week to visit relatives and her mom asked me to stay with her all week to protect her."
Bankotsu asked, "What about Cathy then?"
Inuyasha sighed and answered, "That's the favor I need. I need to know if you are willing to either stay with Cathy at our place, or let her stay with you at yours next week because I guarantee as soon as Naraku and Heiten find out they are gonna go after her! I need you to keep her with you all week next week! So what do you say man!?"
Bankotsu asked seriously, "Aren't you worried about me trying to make a move on her?"
Inuyasha sighed and answered dead seriously, "Look, things between you two may be moving faster then I like, but I trust her judgment and I trust you! Cathy is a smart girl and won't let anyone push her into anything she isn't ready for. You have already protected her many times even before you two started dating. So will you do the favor or not?"
Bankotsu smiled and answered dead serious, "Of course I will! I don't want those bastards hurting her anymore then you do!"
Then frowned and asked, "But why didn't she ask me instead?"
Inuyasha sighed in relief and answered, "Thanks man! And she doesn't know yet. Sesshomaru is gonna tell her in art class."
Bankotsu nodded, and stated, "Thanks for telling me and trusting me!"
Inuyasha nodded.
Inuyasha and Bankotsu then turned around and walked off to their classes.
Back with me...
I entered my history class and sat in my desk, and a minute later the bell rang.
Kouga sat in his desk and started flipping one of my pig tails.
Sesshomaru faced me and demanded evenly, "Cathy, we WILL talk in the next class, alone!"
I nodded my agreement.
Kouga raised a brow at me questioningly and I shrugged.
Then I faced the front of the class and got out my book and notebook.
Mr. Kinshin started another lecture on the feudal era.
We all took notes until the last 10 minutes of class.
Then we put our books, and stuff away and got ready to leave class.
Mr. Kinshin said, "Have a nice weekend class!"
I stood up carrying my bag and whispered to Kouga, "Hey, if you need to call this weekend or anything use my cell k? I won't be home!"
He raised a brow and I smiled and whispered, "Ban and I are spending the weekend together, getting to know each other better."
Kouga grinned and nodded.
Then I walked over to Sesshomaru and asked, "What's up?"
He answered evenly, "In art. We will talk then."
I nodded.
The bell rang and Sesshomaru and I walked out of class together.
I walked over to my locker, put my back pack away, re-locked my locker, walked up behind Bankotsu and hugged his waist.
He finished locking his locker, smiled, turned around, and hugged me back.
I kissed his cheek and said, "Missed you!"
He smiled, gave me a quick kiss and responded, "Missed you too!"
He wrapped one arm around my waist while I had both around his waist leaning into his side.
We walked over to my art class.
His gave me another quick kiss on the lips, which I returned, then he smiled and said, "See ya after class, babe!"
I nodded, he walked over to his history class, and I walked into my art class.
I entered the room and seconds later the bell rang.
ART.
Mrs. L. announced, "Today we will have a free period, which means you may draw whatever you like and talk quietly for the remainder of the class."
Rin, Kagome, Sango, Sesshomaru, and I all sat together.
Sesshomaru stared me dead in the eye and informed me dead seriously, "Cathy, I received a call from Jaken this morning informing me I am needed for a business deal and will be leaving at 6 p.m. tonight. Rin is coming with me! We will be gone all week next week."
I nodded.
Sesshomaru continued, "Inuyasha and I have discussed this already. Inuyasha will be spending the week at Kagome's, at the request of her mother since her family will be visiting family all week."
I nodded again.
Sesshomaru stated, "Inuyasha is supposed to ask Bankotsu to either stay with you or let you stay with him all week in case Naraku or Heiten decide to try anything while we are gone!"
I gasped in shock.
Sesshomaru informed me dead seriously, "You are a smart girl and I know you won't let anyone push you into anything you aren't ready for! I trust Bankotsu to protect you at ALL times! With both Inuyasha and myself not around, we wish to ensure your continued protection! I know you can defend yourself, however it is my responsibility as head of this family to guarantee your safety at all times! That is why I have agreed to have Inuyasha make the request to Bankotsu!"
I nodded and stated, "I understand Sesshu! Thank you! For protecting me, worrying about me, and trusting both Ban and myself!"
Sesshomaru nodded, then added, "Make sure to have you cell at all times outside of school understood!?"
I nodded and promised, "I promise to have my cell at all times outside of school! That way you can reach me anytime cause I know you will be checking up periodically."
He nodded and mentioned, "Glad we understand each other!"
I nodded, hugged him, and Rin and said, "Have a safe trip and a nice time!"
They hugged me back and replied, "We will!"
A few minutes later the bell rang, I walked over to Bankotsu's locker smiling and humming to myself the entire time.

Inuyasha sighed and answered dead seriously, "Look, things between you two may be moving faster then I like, but I trust her judgment and I trust you! Cathy is a smart girl and won't let anyone push her into anything she isn't ready for. You have already protected her many times even before you two started dating. So will you do the favor or not?"
Bankotsu smiled and answered dead serious, "Of course I will! I don't want those bastards hurting her anymore then you do!"
Then frowned and asked, "But why didn't she ask me instead?"
Inuyasha sighed in relief and answered, "Thanks man! And she doesn't know yet. Sesshomaru is gonna tell her in art class."
Bankotsu nodded, and stated, "Thanks for telling me and trusting me!"
Inuyasha nodded.
Inuyasha and Bankotsu then turned around and walked off to their classes.
Back with me...
I entered my history class and sat in my desk, and a minute later the bell rang.
Kouga sat in his desk and started flipping one of my pig tails.
Sesshomaru faced me and demanded evenly, "Cathy, we WILL talk in the next class, alone!"
I nodded my agreement.
Kouga raised a brow at me questioningly and I shrugged.
Then I faced the front of the class and got out my book and notebook.
Mr. Kinshin started another lecture on the feudal era.
We all took notes until the last 10 minutes of class.
Then we put our books, and stuff away and got ready to leave class.
Mr. Kinshin said, "Have a nice weekend class!"
I stood up carrying my bag and whispered to Kouga, "Hey, if you need to call this weekend or anything use my cell k? I won't be home!"
He raised a brow and I smiled and whispered, "Ban and I are spending the weekend together, getting to know each other better."
Kouga grinned and nodded.
Then I walked over to Sesshomaru and asked, "What's up?"
He answered evenly, "In art. We will talk then."
I nodded.
The bell rang and Sesshomaru and I walked out of class together.
I walked over to my locker, put my back pack away, re-locked my locker, walked up behind Bankotsu and hugged his waist.
He finished locking his locker, smiled, turned around, and hugged me back.
I kissed his cheek and said, "Missed you!"
He smiled, gave me a quick kiss and responded, "Missed you too!"
He wrapped one arm around my waist while I had both around his waist leaning into his side.
We walked over to my art class.
His gave me another quick kiss on the lips, which I returned, then he smiled and said, "See ya after class, babe!"
I nodded, he walked over to his history class, and I walked into my art class.
I entered the room and seconds later the bell rang.
ART.
Mrs. L. announced, "Today we will have a free period, which means you may draw whatever you like and talk quietly for the remainder of the class."
Rin, Kagome, Sango, Sesshomaru, and I all sat together.
Sesshomaru stared me dead in the eye and informed me dead seriously, "Cathy, I received a call from Jaken this morning informing me I am needed for a business deal and will be leaving at 6 p.m. tonight. Rin is coming with me! We will be gone all week next week."
I nodded.
Sesshomaru continued, "Inuyasha and I have discussed this already. Inuyasha will be spending the week at Kagome's, at the request of her mother since her family will be visiting family all week."
I nodded again.
Sesshomaru stated, "Inuyasha is supposed to ask Bankotsu to either stay with you or let you stay with him all week in case Naraku or Heiten decide to try anything while we are gone!"
I gasped in shock.
Sesshomaru informed me dead seriously, "You are a smart girl and I know you won't let anyone push you into anything you aren't ready for! I trust Bankotsu to protect you at ALL times! With both Inuyasha and myself not around, we wish to ensure your continued protection! I know you can defend yourself, however it is my responsibility as head of this family to guarantee your safety at all times! That is why I have agreed to have Inuyasha make the request to Bankotsu!"
I nodded and stated, "I understand Sesshu! Thank you! For protecting me, worrying about me, and trusting both Ban and myself!"
Sesshomaru nodded, then added, "Make sure to have you cell at all times outside of school understood!?"
I nodded and promised, "I promise to have my cell at all times outside of school! That way you can reach me anytime cause I know you will be checking up periodically."
He nodded and mentioned, "Glad we understand each other!"
I nodded, hugged him, and Rin and said, "Have a safe trip and a nice time!"
They hugged me back and replied, "We will!"
A few minutes later the bell rang, I walked over to Bankotsu's locker smiling and humming to myself the entire time.
