Chapter 22
Saturday Morning and work.
I woke up to the sound of the alarm going off.
Bankotsu was up laying on his side, propped on one elbow, and stroking my hair.
He smiled and purred, "Morning beautiful!"
I smiled and replied, "Morning Ban."
He mentioned, "Hope you don't mind, but I didn't think it would be to comfortable sleeping with the pigtails in so I took them out. I also put your cell phone on my desk."
I smiled and answered, "I don't mind, Thanks."
He smiled and leaned down giving me a quick kiss on the lips, then rolled out of bed.
I sat up, stretched and then I also got out of bed.
He offered, "You can shower in my bathroom if you want, I will take one down stairs."
I said, "Thanks."
He grabbed some fresh clothes and went downstairs.
I reached into my bag and pulled out my faded blue jean hipsters, a rust colored v neck t shirt, along with fresh underthings, and socks, walked into the bathroom, and set them on the counter.
I walked into the room and got my shampoo and conditioner.
I walked back into the bathroom, took my shower and washed my hair.
I got out, dried off and dressed.
I carried my things into the room and put them away.
I pulled out my tips bag, hair brush and a ponytail holder.
I sat on the bed and began brushing my hair.
Bankotsu walked in drying his hair with a towel.
He walked over and took the brush and sat behind me then began brushing my hair, and I smiled.
After he got out all the tangles, he asked, "What do you want done with it?"
I answered, "I usually just put it into a high ponytail."
He nodded and I handed him a hair band.
He brushed my hair up into a high ponytail and put the band in.
I smiled and said, "Thanks."
He nodded.
I took the brush, moved to sit behind him and began brushing his hair.
He mentioned, "I have never had a girl brush my hair before."
I asked, "Why not?"
He shrugged.
I queried, "Want it braided again?"
He nodded.
So I spent a few minutes braiding his hair.
When I was done, I put my brush back away.
I mentioned, "You have such silky hair!"
He smiled and mentioned, "So do you."
I smiled.
I clipped my cell phone onto my hip.
I grabbed my tips bag and said, "Ready when you are."
He smiled and we walked down stairs.
I slipped on my shoes and he grabbed the movie we had rented.
We walked out to the car and he drove me to work.
I kissed his cheek and said, "Thanks! See ya after work."
He gave me a quick kiss and replied, "Anytime babe."
I smiled and walked over to the door.
Sango walked up and unlocked the door.
Miroku, Sango, and I walked in.
We clocked in and began getting things ready to open.
Finally it was time to open.
I walked over, flipped the sign to open, and unlocked the door.
About 20 minutes later we had several construction workers come in for coffee.
They all crowded into one of my booths and I made certain to keep the coffee coming.
One of the crasser workers reached over and grabbed my ass, with a smirk on his face.
I put my hand on top of his, removed it, held it in a wrist lock and stated evenly, "Sir, kindly keep your hands off me!"
Some of his buddies snickered and teased him about it.
I released his hand and walked away, and a few minutes later they finally left.
I walked into the back and huffed, "Just who the hell do they think they are, anyways? They think they can just grab a girl's ass like it's normal or something!"
Sango sighed and agreed, "Tell me about it! Those constructions guys are as bad as Miroku used to be!"
A quarter till noon I saw Bankotsu walk in and I smiled.
He got seated at one of my tables and I got him a iced tea with a slice of lemon.
I walked back into the back, spent the remainder of my shift finishing the little things in back, clocked out, and picked up my tips bag.
I walked back over to Bankotsu and smiled.
He stood up and kissed me then asked, "Ready?"
I kissed him back and nodded.
We walked out the door holding hands.
We climbed into his car and he drove us over to Ginta and Hakaku's following my directions.
A friendly visit.
We arrived at the house, climbed out of the car, Bankotsu locked it up, and I left my tips bag locked away safely in his car.
Ayame and Kouga walked up and greeted us.
I greeted, "Hey Ayame, Kouga."
Kouga greeted, "Hey Cathy, Bankotsu."
Kouga said, "Welcome to my humble abode."
I laughed.
Kouga lead us inside and over to his grandmother.
I lead Bankotsu over and greeted, "Hello Ginger."
Then I leaned over and hugged her.
She hugged me back and exclaimed, "Baby girl! It's been far to long!"
I smiled and agreed, "Yes it has!"
Then I introduced, "Ginger, this is my boyfriend, Bankotsu."
She looked at him and stated "Ah! The young man I have heard so much about from my grandsons!"
Bankotsu said, "Hello."
Ginger brought him into a hug and mentioned, "Don't be shy my boy! We are all family here!"
He hesitantly returned the hug, then immediately walked behind me and hugged me up to him.
I explained, "Ginger is like a grandma to me!"
He nodded.
Ginger said, "Well sit down already!"
I lead Bankotsu over to a chair and sat him down.
He immediately pulled me into his lap and wrapped his arms around my waist.
I laughed, smiled, and put my arms around his neck.
Ginger smiled and stated happily, "Finally! Cathy I am so glad you have found the right man for you!"
I blushed and said, "Thanks!"
Ginger sighed heavily and bemoaned, "I had always hoped you and my Kouga would marry someday, but I now know it wasn't meant to be!"
I blushed and stated fiercely, "Kouga and Ayame belong together!"
Ginger nodded and mentioned, "I see that now! I also see you are FINALLY back to your true self!"
She looked at Bankotsu and stated, "I have NO DOUBT that you are the cause of this! I am forever in your debt young man! You brought my baby girl back to us! Thank you!"
Bankotsu smiled and I kissed his cheek.
Kouga sensed Bankotsu was becoming uncomfortable with the conversation, cleared his throat and lightly scolded, "Okay grandma, that's enough! Let's just enjoy our visit shall we!?"
Ginger sighed and mentioned, "I was just...!"
Kouga stated seriously, "I know grandma! Now let them be!" eye dead serious.
Ginger sighed and said sadly, "Very well."
I smiled at Kouga gratefully, and he nodded.
I asked, "So Ginger, has Ayame tried out any of those recipes yet?"
Ginger brightened and replied, "Oh my yes! They were delicious! Then again your food always is!"
I smiled and countered, "Ayame will soon learn to start adding her own little special touches! Then you wait and see how great a cook she is!"
Ayame smiled and mumbled, "Thanks Cathy."
I nodded and encouraged, "I didn't learn just over night either, ya know! It took a long time to get the way I am and I am no where near the best!"
Ayame smiled gratefully.
I stood up and hugged her and said, "Just you wait and see Hun!"
She hugged me back, and nodded.
Ginger raised a brow questioningly and asked, "Since when have you two become close?"
We laughed and answered together, "A while now."
Kouga walked over and pulled Ayame into his lap.
I sat back In Bankotsu's lap.
Ginger smiled and exclaimed, "Well, will wonders never cease!"
Bankotsu locked lips with me and I returned the kiss eagerly.
Hakaku and Ginta came running in and cleared their throats loudly, both grinning.
I broke the kiss, stood up and greeted, "Hello Hakaku, Ginta!"
They both ran up to me and picked me up in a hug, one after the other.
I returned their hugs and smiled.
They saw Bankotsu getting up and greeted, "Heya Bankotsu."
He replied, "Hey."
I walked over to Bankotsu and wrapped my arms around his waist, and he pulled me into his side.
A few minutes later I mentioned, "Well, it was nice seeing you again Ginger."
She replied, "Same to you baby girl! Don't be such a stranger! And Bankotsu, you are welcome here anytime."
He nodded and mumbled, "Thanks."
I said, "Ban and I are gonna get going. See you all at school Monday."
Everyone nodded and said, "Bye you two."
I lead Bankotsu over to his car, he unlocked it and opened the door.
I climbed in and he shut the door behind me.
He climbed behind the wheel and started the engine.
He drove us to the grocery store, that I gave him the directions to.
He parked the car and we get out then he locked the car up and we walked inside.
Grocery shopping and dinner.
We got a cart and I asked, "Okay, any idea what you all want for dinner?"
He shrugged.
I said, "Okay, lets try this way. You all allergic to any foods and such?"
He replied, "Jaky can't eat any kind of tomato products."
I nodded and asked, "Anything else?"
He replied, "Nope."
I questioned, "Any foods either of you don't like? Or can't stand?"
He scrunched up his nose and replied, "I hate Lima beans!"
I laughed and agreed, "Same here!"
I asked, "Can Jaky eat barbecue sauce?"
He answered, "Yeah, why?"
I queried, "How about hamburger meat? Any problems there?"
He answered, "Nope! We all love hamburger meat!"
I stated, "Okay, two options here then, one steaks with baked potatoes or mashed and corn on the cob. OR My Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. Which do you think you and you brothers would prefer?"
He thought a moment and asked, "What's meatloaf?"
I said, "You are kidding me! You never had meatloaf before?"
He answered seriously, "Nope!"
I laughed and declared, "Meatloaf it is then!"
I informed him, "We need bread, hamburger meat, barbecue sauce, corn on the cob, potatoes, butter and some spices. Oh and milk, eggs, and bacon."
We walked around getting the stuff we needed.
I suggested, "Okay now Babe, you choose the barbecue sauce you want for me to use."
He nodded, grabbed a bottle of honey hickory barbecue sauce, and added it to the cart.
I said, "Okay, next we need a couple bread pans."
He nodded, we got a couple bread pans and walked over to the check out.
The cashier rang everything up and Bankotsu said, "I got this babe."
Then he pulled out his wallet and payed.
We carried our stuff out to the car and he put the bags in the trunk.
We got into the car and I mentioned, "Ban, eventually you are gonna have to let me pay for SOMETHING! I am not the kind of girl that expects her man to pay for everything."
He nodded and concluded, "Okay, but you are making the food and it is for my brothers and me, so I payed."
I sighed and agreed, "Alright."
He drove us back to his place and carried the bags in.
I put my tips bag into my overnight bag and walked back downstairs.
I walked into the kitchen and washed, rinsed, and dried the bread pans.
He put the food away.
I asked, "Do you have a big bowel I can use?"
He nodded, walked over to me, reached into the cabinet behind me and pulled down a big bowel.
He set it on the counter and at the same time, leaned down and captured my lips in a fierce kiss.
I kissed him back and wrapped my arms around his neck.
He wrapped his arms around my waist, pushed me against the cabinet, and leaned his body against me.
We continued kissing a few minutes, then he broke the kiss, leaned his forehead against mine and we gasped trying to regain control of our breathing.
I smiled and said, "Thanks, for the bowel."
He mentioned, "You're welcome."
Suikotsu walked into the kitchen, cleared his throat loudly, and asked while grinning, "Am I interrupting anything?"
Bankotsu pulled back and glared at Suikotsu who laughed.
Bankotsu walked over to the fridge, and pulled out the hamburger meat.
I turned around and busied myself getting things ready for dinner.
I said, "I will need a couple eggs too."
Bankotsu brought over the eggs.
Suikotsu asked, "What's up?"
Bankotsu replied evenly, "Cathy has offered to make us dinner tonight."
Suikotsu said, "Oh, okay." and walked off.
I opened a loaf of bread.
Jakotsu walked in and questioned, "What's going on?"
I replied happily, "I'm making dinner tonight."
Jakotsu's jaw dropped and he asked, "You...You can cook!?"
I laughed and answered, "Yup!"
Jakotsu queried, "What are you making?"
I replied, "Meatloaf! Do you want to watch?"
Jakotsu nodded his head eagerly, walked over and watched my every move.
I opened the hamburger meat and dumped it into the bowel.
Next I cracked two eggs, add the eggs, and threw away the shells.
Then I rinsed my hands and said, "Hand me the barbecue sauce will ya?"
Bankotsu set it on the counter by me then leaned back and watched me.
I opened the barbecue sauce and squeezed about half the bottle into the bowel.
Then I tore up the bread, and added it to the bowel.
Then I used my hands to squeeze and mix the mixture thoroughly together.
Then I used my hands to place it into the bread pans.
Then washed and dried my hands and stuck the bread pans in the oven.
Next I took the potatoes, peeled 2 dozen, cut them into cubes and added them to a pot of boiling water.
Then I added the corn on the cob to another pan of boiling water.
I turned and stated, "Okay, the next thing to do is to decide what everyone wants to drink with this meal."
Bankotsu replied, "Tea!"
Jakotsu agreed, "Yeah!"
I said, "Okay."
I filled a jog with hot water, added 5 teabags and let it steep for 20 minutes.
I took the tea bags out, threw them away and and stated, "You two can add the sugar."
Bankotsu added the sugar and stirred it up and Jakotsu placed it in the fridge.
I cleaned up the counter I used and washed, and rinsed the big bowel I used.
An hour later I turned off the corn, drained the potatoes and began mashing them with a fork.
I requested, "Will someone please bring me the butter and milk please?"
Jakotsu brought over the butter and Bankotsu brought over the milk.
I smiled and said, "Thanks."
Then I added a little bit of milk, a scoop of butter and they put them back away.
I whipped the potatoes into a nice smooth fluffy state and set them on the table.
Then I pulled the corn on the cob out and set it on a big plate on the table.
Then I pulled on the over mitts and pulled out the bread pans one at a time.
I set both meat loafs on a platter in the middle of the table.
Bankotsu and Jakotsu had already set the table.
Jakotsu pulled out the tea and set it in the middle of the table.
I smiled and suggested, "Now if one of you would call Suikotsu, dinner is ready."
Bankotsu went to get Suikotsu.
A minute later they walked in and sat down at the table.
I smiled and said, "Okay guys, let's dig in!"
Everyone started loading their plates.
I put two slices of meatloaf, one corn on the cob dripping with butter, and a small helping of mashed potatoes on my plate and begin eating.
When everyone was finished eating, all the food was completely gone.
Suikotsu stated, "That was EXCELLENT! What did you call it again?"
I smiled and answered, "Meatloaf."
Jakotsu whined, "I wanna learn to make meatloaf!"
I laughed and offered, "I will write down the recipe and steps for you then!"
Jakotsu asked excitedly, "REALLY!?"
I nodded and replied, "Yes!"
Jakotsu jumped up and down clapping happily.
Bankotsu complimented, "I have to admit that was amazing baby! I was hesitant when you first told me about it! But I LOVED it!"
I smiled and said, "Thanks."
Then I added, "It's nice to see you all have hearty appetites as well!"
Bankotsu demanded, "Hey Jaky, when you learn to make it, you gotta make it for us at least once a week!"
Jakotsu replied happily, "Sure big brother!"
Suikotsu got up and complimented, "You are an impressive cook Cathy! I hope to have the pleasure of you delicious food again some time!"
I blushed and said, "Thanks."
Suikotsu nodded and walked off.
Bankotsu walked over to me, draped an arm around my hip and declared proudly, "My woman is the best! Plus she can cook! That's my Cathy alright!"
I smiled and mentioned, "It's nice to know that I am appreciated!"
He leaned down, captured mouth mouth in a possessive kiss and I kissed him back eagerly.
He broke the kiss and stated fiercely and seriously, "Baby NO ONE appreciates you more than me!"
I grinned and replied happily, "I know!"
Bankotsu suggested, "You go rest on the couch and relax baby! Jaky and I will do the dishes."
I nodded and agreed, "Okay."
Then I walked off into the living room, and sat on the couch.
10 minutes later Bankotsu sat down next to me and pulled me into his lap.
Saturday night movie, quality time, and sleeping in each others arms.
Bankotsu kissed my neck and informed me, "Well done babe! You have already won over both of my brothers!"
I said, "Oh, really?"
He smiled and said, "Yup!"
Jakotsu walked over and stated, "Thanks for the wonderful dinner Cathy!"
I smiled and replied, "No problem."
Jakotsu mentioned, "Well I better turn in! Suikotsu and I are leaving before dawn! I hope to see you more often, Cathy."
Bankotsu grinned and declared seriously, "COUNT ON IT!"
I smiled and nodded my agreement.
Jakotsu said, "Nite all."
Bankotsu smiled at me and said, "Nite Jaky."
I said, "Nite Jakotsu."
Jakotsu suggested, "Just call me Jaky."
I nodded, and he took off to bed.
I kicked off my shoes and socks and tucked them under the coffee table.
Bankotsu turned on the TV and found a movie for us to watch.
Then he pulled me back into his lap and whispered, "I got a better idea, why don't we just watch a movie in my room?"
I nodded and agreed, "Okay."
I picked up my shoes and socks and Bankotsu lead us up to his room.
I set my cell phone on his desk to charge it up, grabbed my bag, went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and Bankotsu walked in and handed me one of his t shirts and offered, "Here, you can use this to sleep in like a night shirt if you want.
I smiled and nodded and said, "Thanks."
He said, "Anytime babe!"
Then he walked out and closed the door.
I changed into fresh panties and his t shirt, which actually fit looser and longer than my night shirt, grabbed my bag, walked out and set my bag on the floor.
Then I climbed into the bed.
He went into the bathroom, brushed his teeth and got ready for bed.
My cell phone rang and I got up and answered it.
Cathy "Hi Sesshu!"
Sesshomaru "Hi Cathy, any problems?"
Cathy "No Sesshu, no problems."
Sesshomaru "That's good."
Cathy "How about you two?"
Sesshomaru "No problems, just wanted to let you know we made it safely and see how you are doing."
Cathy "I appreciate it Sesshu!
In the background Rin said, "Lemme talk to her please Sesshu!?"
Sesshomaru mentioned, "Alright here."
Rin "Hey Cathy, you having fun staying at Bankotsu's place?
Cathy "Yup! I am having a blast!"
Rin "That's good! Listen Cathy, it's been a long trip and I am gonna take my man to bed, so say bye to him so he won't worry and we can sleep k?"
Cathy "Sure Rin."
Sesshomaru "Nite Cathy."
Cathy "Nite Sesshu, bye."
I hung up my phone, set it to charge again, sat back on the bed, and Ban guessed, "Your cousin, huh?"
I answered, "Yup, Sess and Rin just wanted to let me know they made it there safely and see how we are doing."
Bankotsu walked over to me in nothing but a pair of purplish/blue boxers.
He sat on the bed behind me, pulled my ponytail out and whispered, "For tonight at least, lets leave it down okay."
I nodded, and he began brushing out my hair.
When he was finished, he turned the TV and satellite box on and found a good movie for us to watch.
We sat back against his head board for a while watching the movie.
Then I shifted so I was laying down on my side facing the TV, with my head propped up, and he shifted behind me and pulled me into him so we were laying the same way my back on his front.
We laid that way a while and continued watching the movie.
He moved back just enough so he could run his fingers through my hair, and started kissing my neck.
I moved to give him better access to my neck.
He continued lightly kissing my neck, and running his fingers through my hair.
I sighed and rolled so I was on my back and kissed him on the lips.
He kissed me for a minute, then pulled back and snuggled his head onto my chest, with his arms around me.
I smiled and held him close to my heart, took his hair out of the braid, and ran my fingers through his hair, and back in a soothing motion.
He mentioned sleepily, "Mmm feels nice!"
I smiled and kissed the top of his head and whispered, "Sweet dreams Ban."
He murmured, "You too babe."
I continued running my fingers through his hair and a minute later he was fast asleep.
I closed my eyes and in another minute, I was out like a light as well.

Ginger sighed heavily and bemoaned, "I had always hoped you and my Kouga would marry someday, but I now know it wasn't meant to be!"
I blushed and stated fiercely, "Kouga and Ayame belong together!"
Ginger nodded and mentioned, "I see that now! I also see you are FINALLY back to your true self!"
She looked at Bankotsu and stated, "I have NO DOUBT that you are the cause of this! I am forever in your debt young man! You brought my baby girl back to us! Thank you!"
Bankotsu smiled and I kissed his cheek.
Kouga sensed Bankotsu was becoming uncomfortable with the conversation, cleared his throat and lightly scolded, "Okay grandma, that's enough! Let's just enjoy our visit shall we!?"
Ginger sighed and mentioned, "I was just...!"
Kouga stated seriously, "I know grandma! Now let them be!" eye dead serious.
Ginger sighed and said sadly, "Very well."
I smiled at Kouga gratefully, and he nodded.
I asked, "So Ginger, has Ayame tried out any of those recipes yet?"
Ginger brightened and replied, "Oh my yes! They were delicious! Then again your food always is!"
I smiled and countered, "Ayame will soon learn to start adding her own little special touches! Then you wait and see how great a cook she is!"
Ayame smiled and mumbled, "Thanks Cathy."
I nodded and encouraged, "I didn't learn just over night either, ya know! It took a long time to get the way I am and I am no where near the best!"
Ayame smiled gratefully.
I stood up and hugged her and said, "Just you wait and see Hun!"
She hugged me back, and nodded.
Ginger raised a brow questioningly and asked, "Since when have you two become close?"
We laughed and answered together, "A while now."
Kouga walked over and pulled Ayame into his lap.
I sat back In Bankotsu's lap.
Ginger smiled and exclaimed, "Well, will wonders never cease!"
Bankotsu locked lips with me and I returned the kiss eagerly.
Hakaku and Ginta came running in and cleared their throats loudly, both grinning.
I broke the kiss, stood up and greeted, "Hello Hakaku, Ginta!"
They both ran up to me and picked me up in a hug, one after the other.
I returned their hugs and smiled.
They saw Bankotsu getting up and greeted, "Heya Bankotsu."
He replied, "Hey."
I walked over to Bankotsu and wrapped my arms around his waist, and he pulled me into his side.
A few minutes later I mentioned, "Well, it was nice seeing you again Ginger."
She replied, "Same to you baby girl! Don't be such a stranger! And Bankotsu, you are welcome here anytime."
He nodded and mumbled, "Thanks."
I said, "Ban and I are gonna get going. See you all at school Monday."
Everyone nodded and said, "Bye you two."
I lead Bankotsu over to his car, he unlocked it and opened the door.
I climbed in and he shut the door behind me.
He climbed behind the wheel and started the engine.
He drove us to the grocery store, that I gave him the directions to.
He parked the car and we get out then he locked the car up and we walked inside.
Grocery shopping and dinner.
We got a cart and I asked, "Okay, any idea what you all want for dinner?"
He shrugged.
I said, "Okay, lets try this way. You all allergic to any foods and such?"
He replied, "Jaky can't eat any kind of tomato products."
I nodded and asked, "Anything else?"
He replied, "Nope."
I questioned, "Any foods either of you don't like? Or can't stand?"
He scrunched up his nose and replied, "I hate Lima beans!"
I laughed and agreed, "Same here!"
I asked, "Can Jaky eat barbecue sauce?"
He answered, "Yeah, why?"
I queried, "How about hamburger meat? Any problems there?"
He answered, "Nope! We all love hamburger meat!"
I stated, "Okay, two options here then, one steaks with baked potatoes or mashed and corn on the cob. OR My Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. Which do you think you and you brothers would prefer?"
He thought a moment and asked, "What's meatloaf?"
I said, "You are kidding me! You never had meatloaf before?"
He answered seriously, "Nope!"
I laughed and declared, "Meatloaf it is then!"
I informed him, "We need bread, hamburger meat, barbecue sauce, corn on the cob, potatoes, butter and some spices. Oh and milk, eggs, and bacon."
We walked around getting the stuff we needed.
I suggested, "Okay now Babe, you choose the barbecue sauce you want for me to use."
He nodded, grabbed a bottle of honey hickory barbecue sauce, and added it to the cart.
I said, "Okay, next we need a couple bread pans."
He nodded, we got a couple bread pans and walked over to the check out.
The cashier rang everything up and Bankotsu said, "I got this babe."
Then he pulled out his wallet and payed.
We carried our stuff out to the car and he put the bags in the trunk.
We got into the car and I mentioned, "Ban, eventually you are gonna have to let me pay for SOMETHING! I am not the kind of girl that expects her man to pay for everything."
He nodded and concluded, "Okay, but you are making the food and it is for my brothers and me, so I payed."
I sighed and agreed, "Alright."
He drove us back to his place and carried the bags in.
I put my tips bag into my overnight bag and walked back downstairs.
I walked into the kitchen and washed, rinsed, and dried the bread pans.
He put the food away.
I asked, "Do you have a big bowel I can use?"
He nodded, walked over to me, reached into the cabinet behind me and pulled down a big bowel.
He set it on the counter and at the same time, leaned down and captured my lips in a fierce kiss.
I kissed him back and wrapped my arms around his neck.
He wrapped his arms around my waist, pushed me against the cabinet, and leaned his body against me.
We continued kissing a few minutes, then he broke the kiss, leaned his forehead against mine and we gasped trying to regain control of our breathing.
I smiled and said, "Thanks, for the bowel."
He mentioned, "You're welcome."
Suikotsu walked into the kitchen, cleared his throat loudly, and asked while grinning, "Am I interrupting anything?"
Bankotsu pulled back and glared at Suikotsu who laughed.
Bankotsu walked over to the fridge, and pulled out the hamburger meat.
I turned around and busied myself getting things ready for dinner.
I said, "I will need a couple eggs too."
Bankotsu brought over the eggs.
Suikotsu asked, "What's up?"
Bankotsu replied evenly, "Cathy has offered to make us dinner tonight."
Suikotsu said, "Oh, okay." and walked off.
I opened a loaf of bread.
Jakotsu walked in and questioned, "What's going on?"
I replied happily, "I'm making dinner tonight."
Jakotsu's jaw dropped and he asked, "You...You can cook!?"
I laughed and answered, "Yup!"
Jakotsu queried, "What are you making?"
I replied, "Meatloaf! Do you want to watch?"
Jakotsu nodded his head eagerly, walked over and watched my every move.
I opened the hamburger meat and dumped it into the bowel.
Next I cracked two eggs, add the eggs, and threw away the shells.
Then I rinsed my hands and said, "Hand me the barbecue sauce will ya?"
Bankotsu set it on the counter by me then leaned back and watched me.
I opened the barbecue sauce and squeezed about half the bottle into the bowel.
Then I tore up the bread, and added it to the bowel.
Then I used my hands to squeeze and mix the mixture thoroughly together.
Then I used my hands to place it into the bread pans.
Then washed and dried my hands and stuck the bread pans in the oven.
Next I took the potatoes, peeled 2 dozen, cut them into cubes and added them to a pot of boiling water.
Then I added the corn on the cob to another pan of boiling water.
I turned and stated, "Okay, the next thing to do is to decide what everyone wants to drink with this meal."
Bankotsu replied, "Tea!"
Jakotsu agreed, "Yeah!"
I said, "Okay."
I filled a jog with hot water, added 5 teabags and let it steep for 20 minutes.
I took the tea bags out, threw them away and and stated, "You two can add the sugar."
Bankotsu added the sugar and stirred it up and Jakotsu placed it in the fridge.
I cleaned up the counter I used and washed, and rinsed the big bowel I used.
An hour later I turned off the corn, drained the potatoes and began mashing them with a fork.
I requested, "Will someone please bring me the butter and milk please?"
Jakotsu brought over the butter and Bankotsu brought over the milk.
I smiled and said, "Thanks."
Then I added a little bit of milk, a scoop of butter and they put them back away.
I whipped the potatoes into a nice smooth fluffy state and set them on the table.
Then I pulled the corn on the cob out and set it on a big plate on the table.
Then I pulled on the over mitts and pulled out the bread pans one at a time.
I set both meat loafs on a platter in the middle of the table.
Bankotsu and Jakotsu had already set the table.
Jakotsu pulled out the tea and set it in the middle of the table.
I smiled and suggested, "Now if one of you would call Suikotsu, dinner is ready."
Bankotsu went to get Suikotsu.
A minute later they walked in and sat down at the table.
I smiled and said, "Okay guys, let's dig in!"
Everyone started loading their plates.
I put two slices of meatloaf, one corn on the cob dripping with butter, and a small helping of mashed potatoes on my plate and begin eating.
When everyone was finished eating, all the food was completely gone.
Suikotsu stated, "That was EXCELLENT! What did you call it again?"
I smiled and answered, "Meatloaf."
Jakotsu whined, "I wanna learn to make meatloaf!"
I laughed and offered, "I will write down the recipe and steps for you then!"
Jakotsu asked excitedly, "REALLY!?"
I nodded and replied, "Yes!"
Jakotsu jumped up and down clapping happily.
Bankotsu complimented, "I have to admit that was amazing baby! I was hesitant when you first told me about it! But I LOVED it!"
I smiled and said, "Thanks."
Then I added, "It's nice to see you all have hearty appetites as well!"
Bankotsu demanded, "Hey Jaky, when you learn to make it, you gotta make it for us at least once a week!"
Jakotsu replied happily, "Sure big brother!"
Suikotsu got up and complimented, "You are an impressive cook Cathy! I hope to have the pleasure of you delicious food again some time!"
I blushed and said, "Thanks."
Suikotsu nodded and walked off.
Bankotsu walked over to me, draped an arm around my hip and declared proudly, "My woman is the best! Plus she can cook! That's my Cathy alright!"
I smiled and mentioned, "It's nice to know that I am appreciated!"
He leaned down, captured mouth mouth in a possessive kiss and I kissed him back eagerly.
He broke the kiss and stated fiercely and seriously, "Baby NO ONE appreciates you more than me!"
I grinned and replied happily, "I know!"
Bankotsu suggested, "You go rest on the couch and relax baby! Jaky and I will do the dishes."
I nodded and agreed, "Okay."
Then I walked off into the living room, and sat on the couch.
10 minutes later Bankotsu sat down next to me and pulled me into his lap.
Saturday night movie, quality time, and sleeping in each others arms.
Bankotsu kissed my neck and informed me, "Well done babe! You have already won over both of my brothers!"
I said, "Oh, really?"
He smiled and said, "Yup!"
Jakotsu walked over and stated, "Thanks for the wonderful dinner Cathy!"
I smiled and replied, "No problem."
Jakotsu mentioned, "Well I better turn in! Suikotsu and I are leaving before dawn! I hope to see you more often, Cathy."
Bankotsu grinned and declared seriously, "COUNT ON IT!"
I smiled and nodded my agreement.
Jakotsu said, "Nite all."
Bankotsu smiled at me and said, "Nite Jaky."
I said, "Nite Jakotsu."
Jakotsu suggested, "Just call me Jaky."
I nodded, and he took off to bed.
I kicked off my shoes and socks and tucked them under the coffee table.
Bankotsu turned on the TV and found a movie for us to watch.
Then he pulled me back into his lap and whispered, "I got a better idea, why don't we just watch a movie in my room?"
I nodded and agreed, "Okay."
I picked up my shoes and socks and Bankotsu lead us up to his room.
I set my cell phone on his desk to charge it up, grabbed my bag, went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and Bankotsu walked in and handed me one of his t shirts and offered, "Here, you can use this to sleep in like a night shirt if you want.
I smiled and nodded and said, "Thanks."
He said, "Anytime babe!"
Then he walked out and closed the door.
I changed into fresh panties and his t shirt, which actually fit looser and longer than my night shirt, grabbed my bag, walked out and set my bag on the floor.
Then I climbed into the bed.
He went into the bathroom, brushed his teeth and got ready for bed.
My cell phone rang and I got up and answered it.
Cathy "Hi Sesshu!"
Sesshomaru "Hi Cathy, any problems?"
Cathy "No Sesshu, no problems."
Sesshomaru "That's good."
Cathy "How about you two?"
Sesshomaru "No problems, just wanted to let you know we made it safely and see how you are doing."
Cathy "I appreciate it Sesshu!
In the background Rin said, "Lemme talk to her please Sesshu!?"
Sesshomaru mentioned, "Alright here."
Rin "Hey Cathy, you having fun staying at Bankotsu's place?
Cathy "Yup! I am having a blast!"
Rin "That's good! Listen Cathy, it's been a long trip and I am gonna take my man to bed, so say bye to him so he won't worry and we can sleep k?"
Cathy "Sure Rin."
Sesshomaru "Nite Cathy."
Cathy "Nite Sesshu, bye."
I hung up my phone, set it to charge again, sat back on the bed, and Ban guessed, "Your cousin, huh?"
I answered, "Yup, Sess and Rin just wanted to let me know they made it there safely and see how we are doing."
Bankotsu walked over to me in nothing but a pair of purplish/blue boxers.
He sat on the bed behind me, pulled my ponytail out and whispered, "For tonight at least, lets leave it down okay."
I nodded, and he began brushing out my hair.
When he was finished, he turned the TV and satellite box on and found a good movie for us to watch.
We sat back against his head board for a while watching the movie.
Then I shifted so I was laying down on my side facing the TV, with my head propped up, and he shifted behind me and pulled me into him so we were laying the same way my back on his front.
We laid that way a while and continued watching the movie.
He moved back just enough so he could run his fingers through my hair, and started kissing my neck.
I moved to give him better access to my neck.
He continued lightly kissing my neck, and running his fingers through my hair.
I sighed and rolled so I was on my back and kissed him on the lips.
He kissed me for a minute, then pulled back and snuggled his head onto my chest, with his arms around me.
I smiled and held him close to my heart, took his hair out of the braid, and ran my fingers through his hair, and back in a soothing motion.
He mentioned sleepily, "Mmm feels nice!"
I smiled and kissed the top of his head and whispered, "Sweet dreams Ban."
He murmured, "You too babe."
I continued running my fingers through his hair and a minute later he was fast asleep.
I closed my eyes and in another minute, I was out like a light as well.
