Chapter 23

Sunday: Breakfast and lots of bonding time.

I woke up to the feel of Bankotsu's head nestled against my chest.
I looked down and saw that he was still sleeping.
I felt my face spread into a big smile and kissed the top of his head lovingly.
I laid there happily, just running my fingers through his hair long, thick, and silky hair and down his broad and muscular back.
After about 10 minutes of running my fingers through his hair, I felt him beginning to stir.
I greeted softly, "Morning handsome."
He smiled at me and replied, "Morning gorgeous."
He purred, "Mm, I could sure get used to waking up like this. I love the feel of you running your fingers through my hair."
I smiled and added happily, "Yeah, it feels wonderful. I could get used to waking up with your head nestled close to my heart as well."
He shifted enough to reach up and give me a quick morning kiss.
I kissed him back and said, "Now that we are up, I am gonna go shower and make breakfast."
He nodded rolling out of bed.
I stood up, gathered my bag, and walked into the bathroom.
I walked over to the tub and started the shower, then stripped and took a shower washing my hair.
I shut it off then got out, dried off.
I dressed in clean underthings, my black daisy duke style shorts, and a yellow sleeveless v -neck t shirt, then towel dried my hair.
I pulled my hair into a ponytail and ran down stairs.
I walked into the kitchen and started making french toast, and bacon for breakfast.
A few minutes later Bankotsu walked into the kitchen, in just a pair of hip hugging jeans and smiled.
I smiled back and mentioned, "Breakfast is almost done."
He nodded, and went about setting the table.
I made our plates and we sat down and ate together.
He poured us both some freshly made orange juice.
He suggested, "So, I know you have to have questions! Ask away!"
I nodded and questioned, "Okay, have you ever had your heart broken, or been hurt by any of your old girlfriends?"
He answered, "I have never had my heart broken, because I have never let things get that far before! But yes I had one of them hurt me pretty badly."
I nodded and queried, "How?"
He sighed and answered bitterly, "She slept around on me when we were supposed to be dating exclusively: and to top it off the bitch had the nerve to rub it in my face just before I moved here!"
I nodded and said softly, "So, um you know then..."
I looked down sadly.
Bankotsu replied, "Yeah, I know how it feels to find out someone is cheating on you! I cared about her a little but NOTHING like I do about you! I can only imagine how you must have felt when you found out about Yuske!"
I asked, "What was her name? If you don't mind me asking?"
He sighed heavily and answered, "Yura. And I don't mind baby, ask away. The whole point is so we can get know each other, right!?"
I sighed heavily and nodded.
I stated fiercely, "I don't want to ever feel like that again." while remembering the hurt I had felt.
He informed me just as fiercely, "You are with me now babe. And I will never do that to you." eyes dead serious.
I nodded and responded fiercely, "I know babe. and I would never do that to you either."
He acknowledged while nodding, "I know baby."
Then we collected the dishes and washed, rinsed and dried them together.
While we were washing the dishes I blew bubbles on his nose, and he blew them in my hair.
I blew bubbles into his hair and he blew them onto my nose.
We ended up playing like that, laughing together and at our antics for 10 minutes, then I splashed some water onto his naked chest.
He splashed water onto my chest and we horsed around, laughing together some more.
By the time we finished the dishes, we were both pretty well soaked and so was the floor.
He wrapped his hands around my waist and captured my mouth in a fiery kiss.
I kissed him back with just as much fire in it and wrapped my arms around his neck.
He backed me up to the cabinet and pressed his body against mine.
We continued kissing each other passionately.
After a few minutes we broke the kiss together and he leaned his for head against mine as we tried to catch our breaths.
I looked at my soaked clothes and his soaked pants then laughed and mentioned, "It looks like we need to go change into some dry clothes."
He laughed and agreed, "Yup, it sure does!"
I reached out a hand and pushed his chest pushing him away lightly and he reluctantly lowered his arms.
I ran upstairs and changed into my other shorts and top and dry underthings, and hung my wet clothes in the bathroom to dry.
I clipped my cell phone onto my hip and walked back downstairs.
I informed him, "Ban, um we need to go shopping for food again and all. Yash and Sess eat a lot of food, and I doubt there will be anything left at my place. We won't have time to do so tomorrow until after school and all."
He answered, "No problem babe, lets go."
I threw on my shoes and socks and said, "K."
He lead us out the door and locked it behind him.
Then we climbed into his car and he drove us over to the grocery store again.

Sunday: More food shopping and bonding time.

We arrived at the grocery store, he parked the car, we climbed out, he locked it up, and then we walked into the store holding hands.
I looked at him and suggested, "Okay, since we are gonna be there together and all; give me some ideas of what you want to eat and such."
He answered excitedly, "Meatloaf at least once for sure."
I laughed and mentioned, "You must really have liked it."
He stared me dead in the eye and said seriously "Baby, I loved it."
I laughed and replied, "Okay, anything else?"
He shrugged and answered, "I will eat anything you make babe! I'm not picky."
I nodded and said, "Alright then."
We walked over and grabbed a cart and started browsing the aisles.
I added laundry soap and dish soap to our cart as well.
Then we walked over to the area with the toothpaste and such and I added a pack of tooth brushes another tube of tooth paste and some more of my favorite shampoo and conditioner to the cart.
I looked at him nervously and suggested, "You might not want to stay here for the next part."
He looked confused and asked, "Why not?"
I blushed and answered, "I need some female supplies."
He blushed as I added in some maxi pads.
Then we walked past the aisle with the condoms and such and I turned a bright pink.
He smirked.
I said, "Um..."
Then I reached out to grab a box, he stopped me, made me look at him and stated seriously, "Not until you are ready Cathy."
I mumbled, "Just in case."
He raised a brow questioningly.
I blushed harder and explained seriously, "I like to plan ahead! So just in case, they will be available. Besides if we don't use them, I could just give them to Sess and or Yash."
He started to warn seriously, "Cathy...”
I looked very stubborn, with my hands planted firmly on my hips.
He shrugged, sighed heavily and nodded.
We quickly threw a box into the cart and I rushed away from the aisle.
I was so embarrassed.
We rolled the cart up to the cashier.
The cashier rang everything up.
I pulled out my wallet, and Bankotsu pulled out his as well.
I stared to warn seriously, "Bankotsu you..."
He said in a voice brokering no arguments, "I am at least paying for half of it." staring into my eyes.
I sighed and said, "OnlyY half."
He smiled and nodded, and payed for half of it.
I payed the other half.
We walked out to the car carrying our purchases and he opened then put the bags in the trunk.
We climbed into the car and he drove over to my place.
He parked then we climbed out and I unlocked the front door and carried one of the bags in.
Bankotsu brought the other two in.
I closed and locked the door behind us, and lead him into the kitchen.
We placed the bags on the table.
I started putting things away.
He helped by putting away the perishables, while I put away the rest.
I walked into the laundry room and put the soap away.
Then I walked up to my bedroom and placed the box of condoms in my nite stand drawer, after opening the box and sticking three in my pocket.
Then I put the maxi pads under my bathroom sink, and put the shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and toothbrushes away.
Then I walked back downstairs, and finish putting everything else away.
I nodded and asked, "Would you like the tour now?"
He nodded.
I gave him the grand tour avoiding Inuyasha, and Sesshomaru's rooms, and the office.
We walked back downstairs and I mentioned, "Okay. We can go back anytime now."
He nodded and we walked out the door, I locked the door behind us.
We climbed in his car and he drove us back over to his house.
We climbed out of and locked the car then went inside, and he locked the door behind us.
Then he gave me the grand tour, staying away from his brothers rooms and Suikotsu's office.
Then he took me out into the back yard.
He showed me the back yard and then we walked back inside.

Sunday: Lunch, and more bonding time.

We ate ham and cheese sandwiches, with tea for lunch and talked some more.
I said, "Okay, so I know about Yura now."
He nodded.
I asked, "Are there any others that come to mind that I should know about?"
He answered fiercely, "Just Yura. She was by far the worst. Thank goodness we moved away from that town."
I mentioned, "K, and you know about Yuske, and Kouga. You also know about my never ending troubles with Naraku and Heiten!"
He nodded and declared fiercely, "I won't let them have, nor hurt you baby!"
I smiled and replied just as fiercely, "I know! Neither will I!"
We stood up and my cell phone rang again.
Cathy "Hello."
Inuyasha "Hey Cathy, hows it going?"
Cathy "Hey Yash! Things are fine! I am having a blast! Plus we are spending lots of time talking and stuff!"
Inuyasha "That's good. I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. You hear from Sesshomaru and Rin yet?"
Cathy "Yeah I got a call from them last night and spoke to them both. They said they got there safely and wanted to check and see how things were going here."
Inuyasha "That's good to know! At least they made it safe!"
In the background Kagome said, "Let me talk to her for a minute Inu."
Inuyasha, "Okay, here."
Kagome "Hey Cathy. Are you having fun at Bankotsu's?"
Cathy "Hey Kags, Yeah we have been learning A LOT about each other! I'm having a blast!"
Kagome "That's great Hun! It's about time you started living again!"
Cathy"Yeah!"
Inuyasha "Listen Hun, we are gonna let you go for now, tell your boyfriend I say hi."
Cathy "Will do Yash! See you both tomorrow! Bye."
Inuyasha "Bye."
I hung up my phone, smiled and said, "Yash says to tell you he say hi!"
Bankotsu smiled, nodded and replied dryly, "Hi back."
Bankotsu and I walked back up to his room and sat together on the bed.
Bankotsu made me look into his eyes and scolded seriously, "I mean what I said today Cathy, we aren't doing ANYTHING like that, until I know for certain that you are ready!"
I nodded and said, "I know!"
Then I requested, "May I brush your hair again?"
He smiled and answered dryly, "Sure why not."
I pulled out my brush and brushed out his hair.
After 20 minutes I said, "Done. Thanks."
He nodded, let my hair down and requested, "I want to try something different with your hair, may I?"
I smiled and nodded.
He brushed my hair, then leaving my bangs down he put my hair back up into a ponytail.
Then using his fingers and my brush he used my bangs to frame my face.
He pulled me over to the mirror and asked softly, "Do you like it?"
I gasped and answered softly, "Very much!"
He smiled and handed me my brush.
He kissed my cheek and whispered in my ear, "Me too!"
He turned me around, kissed me gently, and I kissed him back just as gently.
Then I pulled back and suggested, "How about another movie and some cuddling?"
He smiled and teased, "You like to cuddle a lot, huh?"
I answered, "It's one of my favorite things to do."
He nodded, we walked over to the bed, sat against his headboard and he turned the TV and satellite box on.
He found a sci-fi for us to watch, then pulled me into his lap, wrapped his arms around my waist, and leaned his head against my chest.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, settled my head on top of his, and we watched the movie.
I mentioned, "So now we know about each others past relationships...what about your family? I met your brothers, but what about parents, aunts and such?"
His eyes filled with sadness and he answered, "My brothers are all I have, as far as family goes. Our parents were both only children and they are dead."
I said sadly, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to bring up painful memories!"
He said, "It's alright."
I added softly, "My parents are both dead as well. So are Yash and Sess's."
He hugged me and mentioned, "I'm sorry."
I hugged him and continued, "I am also an only child."
He nodded.
I explained, "That's why Yash, Sesshu, and I are so close. They are all the family I have left."
He nodded again.
I chirped cheerily, "Okay enough of the mundane stuff, what about your hobbies?"
He smiled and answered, "Cars, Martial Arts, and ancient battle techniques with swords and halberds and such, as well as ancient weapons."
I smiled and added, "Mine are reading, Martial arts, and helping others."
I kissed him gently and he kissed me back.

Sunday:Pizza! And even more bonding.

We cuddled for most of the day, then we decided to just order pizza for dinner.
The bell rang, Bankotsu's opened the door, payed for the pizza, then shut, and locked the door.
The he set the pizza box on the coffee table and got us some glasses of tea.
We ate pizza and watched some cartoons together.
He mentioned, "So now we know about family's, past relationships, and hobbies."
I agreed happily, "Yup, It's amazing what people can learn when they are willing to actually talk to each other! Huh?"
He smiled and added "Yup, it sure is!"
He mentioned, "I have never really tried to just get to know a girl before..."
I smiled and said softly, "It's something I have always tried to do...Yuske sure never wanted to talk though."
I added seriously, "But I never even opened up to Kouga this fast...it's just I know that you won't ever hurt me, ya know!?"
He smiled and confided seriously, "I feel the same way!"
He laughed and exclaimed seriously, "Now enough of this mushy stuff! Come here you!"
He pulled me onto his lap and captured my lips in a fierce kiss, which I eagerly returned.
He gently laid me back and settled his self on top of me, with his arms around my waist and we continued kissing.
After a few minutes he broke the kiss and settled his head on my chest again.
I held him and asked, "What are ya doing?"
He answered softly, "Shh. I'm listening to your heartbeat."
I blushed and nodded.
I ran my fingers through his hair a few minutes.
And we just laid there like that for a while.
Then he sighed and suggested, "I guess we should hit the hey soon, school and all."
I nodded and we stood up and walked up stairs.
I walked into the bathroom and changed into his shirt for a nite shirt again, and some fresh panties.
Then I brushed my teeth, walked out and re-packed my overnight bag.
He walked into the bathroom and brushed his teeth and got ready for bed.
Again he was wearing nothing but his boxers.
He walked over to his closet and pulled out a weeks worth of jeans and t-shirts.
Then set them on his desk, walked over to his dresser, pulled out a weeks worth of underclothes and socks and 3 pairs of boxers and set them on the desk as well.
Then he walked into the bathroom and brought out his deodorant, his cologne, tooth paste, and tooth brush and set them beside everything else.
Then he reached into his desk drawer, pulled out his cell phone charger and such and added them to the pile.
Then he reached into the bottom of his closet, pulled out his gym bag, neatly packed everything into his bag and set it on the floor next to mine.
Then he walked over and set the alarm clock and said, "Now in the morning all we have do is eat and grab the two bags.
I smiled and nodded.
He pulled me into his arms, let my hair down and we laid down like we had been on the couch, with his head on my chest and my fingers running through his hair.
We smiled at each other.
He kissed the location where my heart was and I blushed.
He said, "Nite Cathy."
I replied, "Nite Ban."
We slept all night long in each others arms peacefully.
