Chapter 24
Monday morning, homeroom, and math.
We got up showered, dressed, brushed each others hair, ate pancakes, and sausage, then grabbed our bags, and walked out the door.
We drove over to my place first and put our bags inside, then we drove to school.
We arrived at the school and climbed out then locked the car and walked over to and opened our lockers.
I placed my cell phone on the shelf and grabbed my back pack, then I re-locked my locker.
I walked over to Bankotsu's locker and hugged his waist from behind.
He smiled, locked his locker, turned around and hugged me back.
Then he kissed the top of my head affectionately and we walked into our homeroom class and sat together.
We spent the next ten minutes flirting and discussing what we were gonna have for dinner.
Home room
Just then the bell rang.
I gazed into his sapphire eyes and asked, "So what do you want to eat for dinner tonight?"
He smiled charmingly and answered, "Surprise me."
I grinned and agreed, "Okay."
We held hands on top of the table.
He looked at me dressed in my faded hip hugger light blue jeans, a cute rust colored sleeve less corset v-neck style top and exclaimed with his eyes twinkling, "You look so hot today baby!"
I smiled and replied, "Thanks."
Then I looked at him in his hip hugging faded dark blue jeans and a form fitting dark blue t-shirt, and added seriously, "So do you handsome!" and winked at him, and he smirked then we kissed.
Yuki walked by, rolled her eyes at us and mumbled, "Ugh! Stop it already!"
We broke the kiss and Bankotsu laughed and I grinned.
Bankotsu moved so he was sitting behind me, with his arms hugging my waist, leaned his chin on my shoulder, then he kissed my check softly.
I smiled and leaned into his embrace.
Yuki stormed off mad again, we shook our heads, and went back to talking together quietly.
Finally the bell rang, so I grabbed my backpack and we walked over to math class together.
Math class.
We walked in holding hands and took our seats and Kouga took his seat.
Inuyasha leaned over, smiled at me and asked, "How is my favorite cousin this morning?"
I laughed and reminded, "I'm your only cousin, Yash!"
He shrugged and replied seriously, "So what! You are still my FAVORITE cousin!"
I smiled and answered, "I am great this morning." and smiled over at Bankotsu, who smiled back.
Inuyasha added dryly, "I can see that." and then the bell rang.
Mr. A. passed out our assignments and we spent the rest of the class doing our work.
When we had finished our assignments and turned them in, we sat back down in our seats.
Kouga flipped my ponytail every now and again.
Bankotsu and I exchanged looks and smiles, every now and then.
Inuyasha flipped my entire ponytail in my face and mentioned, "Earth to Cathy! Hey!?"
I looked at him and replied, "Huh? What is it Yash?" and Kouga grinned.
Inuyasha laughed, shook his head and stated amused, "You have sure got it bad this time girl!"
I blushed and whispered, "I know."
Inuyasha grinned, gave me a quick fierce hug, and I returned the hug.
Inuyahsa whispered happily, "I'm happy for you Hun!"
I said, "Thanks Yash!" and he nodded.
Mr. A. commanded, "Do pages 50 and 51 for homework tonight! It will be due at the beginning of class tomorrow!"
I made a quick note in my note book, then the bell rang, Bankotsu pulled me into a hug and kissed the top of my head.
I smiled, kissed his cheek and we walked over to science together, holding hands.
Monday Science.
We walked in holding hands, gave each other a quick kiss and sat in our seats.
Heiten sat behind me, tugged on my ponytail, leaned up to my ear and whispered, "How's it going baby?"
I yanked my hair away from him, and ignored him and he just chuckled.
Inuyasha stated angrily, "Yo Heiten! Leave her be!" and Heiten and Naraku laughed.
Heiten backed off because the bell rang.
Mrs. H. instructed, "Sit with your partners and work on your projects."
Heiten stood up, leaned his face close to mine and whispered, "Soon baby, you WILL be mine!"
I shoved him away and growled, "NEVER!"
Heiten laughed, walked away smirking and walked over to Naraku, just as Hakudoshi sat with me.
I rolled my eyes and declared, "What an asshole!"
Hakudoshi chuckled and said, "Yeah he is."
I suggested, "Since we did the experiments friday, why don't we start the report now?"
Hakudoshi nodded and we took out our notes we had both taken.
Hakudoshi mentioned, "I didn't see you at work Saturday."
I replied, "That's because we worked a different shift."
He added, "Didn't see you there friday either."
I explained, "Fridays and Sundays are my days off. Although Bankotsu took me to dinner there friday night."
He nodded and we worked on beginning our report, then read it over.
I mentioned, "Well, it's a good start! But we still have a ways to go on this report."
Hakudoshi teased amused, "You sure are a details person, huh?"
I laughed and answered, "Yup! I always have been."
Hakudoshi smiled and replied, "I bet! So about the tutoring tonight...?"
I said, "Hm? What about it?"
He requested, "Do you think you could explain the homework to me tonight as well?"
I shrugged and replied, "I don't see why not. I won't give you the answers, but I will explain to you how to do it."
He said, "Thanks."
I nodded and assured, "No prob."
We went back to making a few more notes on our project.
The last 10 minutes of class, I put my books and stuff away and waited for the bell to ring.
Bankotsu and Hojo walked over and joined us.
Bankotsu sat right beside me and held my hand.
I smiled and greeted, "Hi Ban"
He replied, "Hey baby."
I asked, "So, wanna work on our homework before or after dinner tonight?"
Bankotsu answered, "I guess that depends on what we are having."
I replied, "Well, IF we do the meatloaf thing again it will be about an hour at least; that would be plenty of time for us to do our homework in."
He asked eagerly, "Meatloaf!?" and looked at me like a kid does when asking for candy.
I laughed and declared, "It looks like meatloaf it is then!"
He grinned and hugged me tightly, I returned the hug and smiled.
Inuyasha walked over and stated dryly, "I take it you made him you delectable meatloaf already?"
I laughed and answered, "Yup, that is what I made for us all Saturday night."
Inuyasha asked hopefully, "Maybe you can bring some over to the shrine tonight?" looking at me with pleading eyes.
I laughed and answered, "No, but I will give Kags the recipe!"
Inuyasha's face fell after "no" and lit up at the end of my sentence.
Kagome said dryly, "I guess I will be making meatloaf tonight then, huh!?"
I laughed and informed her seriously, "Kags, It's is Yash's second favorite meal! Only topped by his beloved ramen!"
Kagome laughed and declared, "Well then by all means, I'd love the recipe!"
I took a few minutes to write down the recipe and directions and handed it to her.
Inuyasha picked me up in a bear hug and exclaimed happily, "Thanks Cathy!"
I laughed and replied, "Anytime, Yash!!"
Inuyasha set me down gently, picked Kagome up and spun her around excitedly.
Kagome laughed, and mentioned, "Hey Cathy, I will have to be sure to get more of your recipes if he is gonna act like this all the time!"
I laughed and nodded, then I kissed Inuyasha's cheek softly.
Bankotsu pouted and grumbled, "Hey! Where's mine!?"
I kissed Bankotsu on the lips, smiled and asked, "Better?"
He grinned, kissed me and the bell rang.
Bankotsu walked me over to my history class, kissed the top of my head and said, "See ya at lunch babe!"
I nodded, kissed his cheek, then walked into my class, and he walked over to his shop class.
Monday History.
I walked in and sat in my seat, Hojo sat in his seat and asked evenly, "Meatloaf, huh?"
I smiled and answered, "Yup! Apparently Ban likes my cooking too."
Hojo laughed and stated, "Cathy, I don't think there is one thing you do that he won't like! That guy is crazy about you!"
I said happily, "I am crazy about him too!"
Hojo informed me seriously, "You are ALL he ever talks about! When we are sitting there in science class, he pays attention and all and does his part of the work, but every free minute it is always "Cathy this, or Cathy that!"
I blushed and smiled, Hojo laughed and said, "No offense, but it tends to get annoying after a while."
I replied, "I didn't know he talked about me all the time..."
Hojo added, "He makes it a point everyday to tell me how great you are and everything." and I smiled.
I offered. "If you like, I could talk to him about it."
Hojo said, "Naw, it's okay." and smiled, so I smiled and nodded, and the bell rang.
Kouga started tugging on my hair and I smiled to myself.
Mr. Kinshin asked, "Where are Rin and Sesshomaru?" and I replied, "Out of town. On business."
Mr. Kinshin nodded and said, "Thank you Cathy." and I nodded.
Kouga whispered, "And so it begins." and my eyes widened as I caught onto what he meant.
I thought to myself 'Way to go idiot! Now they know for sure!' and stiffened as I realized my mistake.
Kouga felt the tension rolling off me in waves and began rubbing my shoulders and playing with my hair, so I slowly begin to relax.
We took more notes on the feudal era for most of the rest of the class.
The last 5-10 minutes of class, Kouga lead me over to Ayame by the hand.
I groaned and mumbled, "I can't believe I did that! Stupid!"
Kouga pulled me into a friendly hug and soothed, "Cathy, you are NOT stupid!"
Ayame added, "They were bound to realize it sooner or later." and I sighed heavily.
Kagome said softly, "Relax Cathy, things will be ok!"
Kouga nodded and stated seriously, "Ayame and I will walk with you to your next class!"
I mentioned, "You don't have to.."
Kouga and Ayame declared together fiercely, "We WANT to!"
So I nodded and agreed, "Alright, and thanks." and they smiled and nodded.
The bell rang and we walked out the door together.
We all three walked over to my locker.
I placed my backpack in it and locked it up.
Then I saw Bankotsu getting into his locker, so I walked over to him and said, "Ban, I think we will have trouble sooner rather than later now."
He asked, "Why?"
I explained to him what happened.
He nodded, and I sighed heavily and groaned, "I can't BELIEVE I did that!"
Bankotsu hugged me close and stated, "Don't worry baby! Now lets get you to class!" and I nodded.
We all walked over to my art class then I said, "Thanks all!"
They nodded and Kouga and Ayame took off.
Bankotsu and I kissed and he suggested, "Go to the cafeteria with Kagome and Inuyasha; I will meet you there! Don't worry!"
I nodded and said, "K." then he walked to his class and I entered mine.
