Chapter 25


Monday Art.


I walked over to Kagome and said, "Hey Kags, Ban told me to head to the cafeteria with you and Yash today and he will meet us there."

Kagome nodded saying, "Good idea! I will let Yash know and we will wait for you!"

I said, "Thanks." She smiled and nodded, then I sat in my desk and the bell rang.

Mrs. L. said, "Today we will paint another landscape, but make sure to focus on the details more then the colors this time."

I set up my canvas and started painting a beautiful landscape with rolling hills and lush grass and big trees that shade huge areas, and a lake, and a sky.

There were flowers of all kinds and colors throughout the rolling hills.

The sky was crystal clear except for one lone cloud over the middle of the lake.

One of the trees shaded a large part of the bank right next to the lake.

The lake had small waves in it this time, but still reflected the cloud only wavey.

The sun was a bright yellow with a tad of orange mixed in.

The sky was a beautiful baby blue.

The grass was a beautiful mixture of light and normal green, and looked lush, and real.

I drew two flocks of birds in the sky one at each corner, both in a v formation.

Then I added my name and the date at the bottom corner, and put my paints away.

Then I cleaned out my paint brushes and mixing containers and such.

While I was cleaning out mine, Sango walked over to cleaned hers as well.

I said "Hey there Sango." Sango smiled and asked happily "Hey Cathy. So how was you weekend with Bankotsu?"

I grined and replied happily "It was a blast!"

Sango smiled and said "I'm glad things are working out for you two!"

I huggged her and said "Thanks! So am I!" she hugged me back.

We finished our clean up and sat and talked with Kagome, untill the bell rang.

Kagome asked "So this meatloaf I am supposed to make tonight, is it hard?"

I laughed and said "Nope! But you gotta get your hands really messy! You gotta mix the indgridients in a big bowel by squeezing them with your hands."

Kagome wrinkled her nose, I laughed and said "Think of it like the modeling clay and such, only this you cook and eat."

Kagome shruged and said "As long as he gets that happy over it, I can handle messy hands!"

I said seriously "Trust me, he will!" then she smiled and noded.

Sango asked for the recipie so I wrote it and directions out again and handed them to Sango.

She smiled and thanked me, and I smiled and noded.

The bell rang and I walked out the door with Kagome, and we met up with Inuyasha.

Kagome explained to Inuyasha, and he put an arm each around bot of our waists and said "I would love to escort my two favorite girls to lunch!"

Kagome and I laughed and we all three walked to the cafeteria.

Monday: Lunch, and a fight by the tree.


We walked into the cafeteria, got our food and sat at our usual table.

A few minutes later Bankotsu walked up, hugged me from behind, and whispered "Hey there beautiful, miss me?"

I jumped up, hugged him and said excitedly "Heck ya, I missed ya!"

He laughed, picked me up and kissed me, I of course kissed him back eagerly.

He set me down gently, got his food, returned to the table and sat right next to me.

Bankotsu said "Thanks for walking her over."

Inuyasha said "Anytime."

We all finished eating and I said "Nice seeing you all again! Now if you don't mind, I am gonna go spend some time under the tree with my man here!"

Everyone laughed as I lead Bankotsu outside under the tree again.

Bankotsu leaned against the tree and tugged my arm, so I fell into his open arms laughing.

He smiled and said fiercely "I have missed you too!", then he captured my mouth in a sweet gentle kiss.

I moved my arms up around his neck and leaned into the kiss, his arms wrapped around my waist, and pulled me flush against him as he deepened the kiss.

We kissed each other for a few more minutes then I broke the kiss because I needed air.

I moveed my arms to around his hips and layed my head against his chest, he tightened his hold on my waist and I smiled.

I said seriously "I still have a hard time believing this isn't just a dream! This is to good to be reality!"

He lifted my chin, looked me directly in the eyes and said fiercely "Baby, this is NO dream! This is as real as it gets!"

I smiled, noded, said "I know." and kissed his jaw.

He rans his hand up and down my back in a soothing motion.

He kissed the top of my head as I had re-layed my head against his chest.

Kouga and Ayame walked over to us, and Ayame teases "Aww isn't that cute! They are just holding each other!"

Kouga teased "Now, now kids, remember where you are!"

Bankotsu and I laughed, I turned around so he was hugging my waist from behind and we straightened up.

My hands were on his on my stomache, and I said "Hello you two."

Ayame asked "So what have you two lovebirds been up to?" and Bankotsu smiled.

I said "Just snuggling, kissing, and talking." and Kouga grined.

Just then Naraku, Heiten, Kagura, and Kikyo walked by.

Naraku hissed "Isn't that sweet, the love birds and thier friends."

Kouga growled a warning, as did Ayame.

Heiten laughed and mocked "Down wolves!" and Kagura snickered.

Kikyo said icily "So, already moved on to a new man, huh?

I glared at them and said evenly "I am not the one who sluts around!"

Kikyo became angry and warned "Better watch your mouth bitch!"

I replied icily "I reiterate, I am NOT the slut here!"

Naraku chuckled and said amused "Calm down Kikyo, we all know she hasn't had a man period!"

Bankotsu said evenly "She has one now!"

Naraku sneered "For now, but you won't get anywhere with her either and will eventually tire of trying!"

Bankotsu said icily "I am NOT with her for sex you jack off!"

Naraku laughed and said "That's for sure! She won't have it with ANYONE!"

Kouga growled and said angrily "Just because she won't bed you or you pal there, doesn't mean you two can harrass her!"

I said evenly "Ignore them Kouga! They are just jealous! They know I want NOTHING to do with either of those assholes and they can't stand being turned down!"

Naraku yelled "Watch you mouth wench!"

I glared at him and said "Asshole, just admit it already! It is driving you insane that I keep refusing your advances!"

Kikyo said angrily "Don't you talk to my boyfriend like that!"

I asked "Which one? We all know you are sleeping with them both!"

Kikyo's face turned red from anger, Naraku demanded icily "Kagura, take Kikyo and wait for us, NOW!" and Kagura drug away a screaming Kikyo.

I said smugly "What's the matter? Afraid your little slut would get her ass kicked again?" and Heiten chuckled.

Heiten said snidely "My, my such inner fire! I wonder if she would bring that fire to the bed?"

Bankotsu warned angrily "You had BETTER watch what you say about MY girlfriend! You bastard!"

I said calmly "Relax Bankotsu, he is just trying to get a rise out of us!"

I looked Heiten dead in the eyes and said fiercely "That is something you two will NEVER know!"

Heiten became angry and said "Don't be so sure babe!"

Naraku said icily "Do not forget so easily about our little encounter a few years back! This time you precious cousin Sesshomaru won't be there to save you either!"

Bankotsu and Kouga both said fiercely "BUT I WILL!

Naraku laughed and said snidely "Don't make me laugh!"

Bankotsu warned dead seriously "Do NOT under estimate me! You moron!"

Heiten said mockingly "Better keep a REAL close eye on Cathy there!"

Kouga growled and prepared to lunge.

I said evenly "Kouga NO! That is EXACTLY what they are waiting for!"

Heiten laughed and said amused "Figured us out already, eh baby?"

I said fiercely "I AM NOT YOUR ANYTHING! JERK OFF!"

Heiten smirked and said "You will be!"

I said dead seriously "Not even in your dreams asshole!" and Naraku chuckled.

Inuyasha walked over and demanded "NARAKU, HEITEN, GET THE HELL AWAY FROM HER NOW!"

Heiten taunted "Oh looky, The halfbreed came to play too!"

I warned angrily "Don't you EVER refer to my cousin like that again! You two are jealous of him because he is stronger and smarter than both of your asses combined! Even tho you consider us 'dirty half breeds' either of us could defeat your asees any day!"

I squeezed Bankotsu's hand and said evenly "Lets leave those two jack asses to play with themselves!"

Bankotsu chuckled, noded and we started walking off.

I yelled "Oi! Yash! Just leave those two idiots alone so the can screw each other!"

He grined, noded and still watching them began slowly backing away, as Kouga and Ayame followed us as well.

Naraku and Heiten stood there looking utterly dumbfounded.

The five of us joined up with Kagome who was waiting by the cafeteria door.

We could hear Naraku and Heiten yelling obscenities at us and each other, as we got farther away.

The bell rang and we all went to our classes.
