Chapter 29

Tuesday: Morning History and notes.



I sat there taking notes untill the last 10 minutes of class.

Every few minutes I felt Kouga lightly tug or flip my hair and I slowly begin to relax, and smiled.

When he was done taking notes, Kouga handed me back my pencil and said "Thanks sweetstuff!"

I noded, and returned it to my backpack.

The last ten minutes of class the whole gang and Hojo had pretty much migrated over to where Kouga and I normally sat.

Hojo looked at me and scolded lightly "I can't believe you did that Catherine! Shame on you! I am deeply dissapointed in you! I thought you were such a nice, sweet girl!"

I just rolled my eyes.

Kagome said fiercely "Be fair about it Hojo! Yuki has had that coming for some time now! Even Cathy can only ingore the crap for so long!"

Hojo looked shame faced for a minute, then he scowled at me and said "But you still shouldn't have been so mean to her! She didn't do anything to deserve that!"

I rolled my eyes again.

Ayame said fiercely "Cathy tried being nice, paitent and understanding! It didn't work! You have NO right to scold her for finally being fed up! Hell I would have beat the hell out of her long before now, had it been me! And the instant she hit me I would have skinned her ass alive!"

Kouga scowled at Hojo, growled a warning growl and warned dead seriously "Leave Cathy alone Hojo! I for one am damn proud she is FINALLY standing up for herself and her loved ones! She didn't do anything wrong! So back off! NOW!"

Hojo gulped, noded and backed away slowly.

I sighed heavily and muttered "Goodness only knows what I EVER thought I saw in Hojo in the first place!"

Kagome and I hugged each other tightly.

Then Ayame and I hugged each other.

Then Kouga and I hugged each other and I got up and prepared to leave.

I said "Hey, I am gonna head over to my locker and then to class k, Kags."

She noded, the bell ramg and I walked to my locker.

I opened my locker and put my backpack into it, closeed and locked it.

Then I walked over to Bankotsu's locker and wrapped my arms around his waist hugging him from behind.

He grined, turned around, huggged me close to him and kissed my forehead.

I sighed heavily and said "Hey baby."

He asked "What's wrong babe?"

I sighed and said frustratedly "Just wondering what could have ever possed me into thinking I liked Hojo!"

He asked "Something happen?"

I sighed and said "Yup, I just finished being lectured by Hojo for the whole Yuki thing."

Bankotsu hugged me up and said "Ignore that idiot babe! Now lets get you to class."

I noded and we walked over to my class.

We kissed each other quickly on the lips and he said "See ya at lunch babe!"

I noded and walked into my class, and he walked off to his class.

Tuesday: Afternoon Art, and a pleasent lunch.



I sat in my desk just as the bell rang.

Mrs L said "Okay class, today we are going to try something completely different. We are going to split into groups of three and do a project together using paper machete."

Kagome, Sango, and I were chosen to be a group.

We spent the next hour doing paper machete and making portaits with it.

Then we washed up together, sat and talked quietly the rest of the time.

Kagome said "Cathy, Just ignore that idiot Hojo! He doesn't know ANYTHING!"

I smiled and said "Thanks Kags!"

She smiled.

Sango said "Don't forget we have a shift change tonight, only four hours so we get off at 9 tonight, and tomorrow."

I smiled and said "Thanks! I had forgotten that!"

Sango smiled.

Then Sango said "So Cathy, tell us, how was it!?"

I blushed and say dreamily "Incredible! He IS so attentive!"

Sango and Kagome both grined at me and I grined back.

I said "Not to metion he is just SO incredibly hot!"

They laughed and agreed with me.

The bell rang and I walked over to Bankotsu's locker.

Bankotsu turned around and said "Hey baby, I got an idea for you, how about instead of cafeteria food, you and I go out for lunch."

I noded and said "Sounds good to me!"

We walkedout to his car and he took us to a small cafe around the corner.

We ordered our food and drinks and had a pleasent lunch together.

I smiled and said "Thanks baby, I REALLy needed to just get away for a while!"

He smiled, and said "I could tell."

We climbed back into his car and went back to the school.

We walked into the cafeteria hugging each others waists and joined Yash and the others.

Inuyasha raised a brow and asked "Where were you two?"

Bankotsu replied "Cathy needed to just get away for a while, so we went to the cafe around the corner instead."

Inuyasha noded.

Kouga asked "How was the food?"

I smiled and said "Filling and tastey."

Bankotsu noded.

Bankotsu sat down, pulled me onto his lap, wrapped his arms around my waist and leaned his chin on my shoulder.

I leaned into his embrace and smiled.

I said "By the way Ban, Sango reminded me of the scheduel change at work this week. I will get off at 9pm instead of 11pm both tonight and tomorrow."

He noded and said "Gotcha!"

I placed my hands ontop of his, sighed and leaned even more into his embrace.

He gently tightened his hold on my waist in a brief hug.

We both smiled.

I said "I am not one hundred percent certain yet, so I will wait and see what happens thursday. But I am seriously considering cancelling the tutoring altogether! WE already have enough probloms with Heiten and Naraku as it is, the tutoring is just one more time where they can be pricks!"

Bankotsu said "Whatever you want to do about it baby is fine with me!"

I sighed and said "The only reason I am not sure yet is because Hakudoshi truely is trying his best to make it work and he is working so hard to understand it! So we will wait and see for now. Plus I don't need that little weasel Hojo giving me anymore flack!"

Everyone noded, the bell rang and Bankotsu and I walked to our next class holding hands and smiling.

We walked in together and sat in our desks, just as the bell rings.

Mrs Shima said "Groups of 3 and we are gonna make cookies again."

Bankotsu, Ginta and I paired up.

We made peanut butter cookies this time.

I mixed the ingredients, Ginta placed them on the pan and Bankotsu set the timer and put the in.

While waiting for them to bake Ginta and Bankotsu did the dishes, then we sat down and talked quietly among ourselves.

Ginta smiled and said "Kouga told us about the thing with Yuki this morning."

I sighed and noded.

Bankotsu layed an arm around me, pulled me into his side, and I leaned my head into his chest.

Ginta said "Looks like she may have finally realized you are serious this time."

Bankotsu says fiercely "I sure as hell hope so!"

I noded and added "Me too!"

Mrs Shima walked over ate one of our cookies and said "Excellent as always!"

We all smiled.

Mrs Shima looked at me and Bankotsu holding each other and walked away smiling to herself.

Ginta said "I do believe she has just givin her aproval as well Catherine."

I smiled and noded.

Bankotsu hugged me into his side, I leaned into him and wrapped my arms around his waist.

The bell rang, Bankotsu I walked towards the gym, changed into our gym clothes and met up by the wall.

A few minutes later Kouga and Ayame met us at the wall and the bell rang again.

Mr P said "5 laps!" and blew his whistle.

Everyone took off running, 30 minutes later the four us had finished our laps and were sitting as couples and chatting quietly.

I was sitting nestled between Bankotsu's legs and leaning back into him with my arms ontop of his which were around my waist.

Ayame and Kouga were sitting together in a like fashion.

Kouga said "Now, will you believe me?"

Ayame laughed and said "Of course baby! But if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I never would have! She is so easy going and quiet."

Bankotsu added smugly "She is also FULL of untamed passion and inner fire!"

I blushed and we all laughed.

We decided to get up, walk inside, shower and change into our regular clothes.

Then we all four met back up at the wall.

Bankotsu approached me and wrapped me in a fierce hug.

I wrapped my arms around Bankotsu's waist and leaned into him.

Ayame and Kouga walked up holding hands and grining.

Kouga teased "Now now children, none of that in the school!"

Bankotsu scowled over his shoulder at Kouga and Kouga grined.

I laughed and chided "Ayame! You have GOT to teach Kouga to keep his mind out of the gutter!"

We all laughed.

The bell rang, so Bankotsu and I walked to our lockers, pulled out our cell phones, clipped them to our hips, then re-locked our lockers.

We walked out to his car, climbed inside it and we kissed each other fiercely.

I moaned and said "Gotta work babe!"

He said huskily "I know!"

Then he drove over to my work, I got out, leaned in thru the widow, gave him a quick kiss on the lips, winked at him, walked inside, clocked in and started my shift.
