Chapter 36


Monday morning: Morning, engagement ring, and school

I woke up to Bankotsu running circles around my hips and thighs and said "Mmm."

He chuckled and whispered huskily "Morning love!"

I smiled and purred "Morning stud muffin!"

He grinned and kissed me fiercely and I kissed him back just as fiercely.

We made love, showered, dressed, clipped our cellphones on and went out the door.

He drove us over to the jewelry store, we picked up my engagement ring, he put it on my finger and smirked.

I blushed, smiled, then he treated us to breakfast and afterwards he drove us to school.

We walked over to my locker and I put my cellphone away and grabbed my backpack and re-locked my locker.

We walked over to his locker, he put his cellphone away, grabbed his books and stuff and re-locked his locker.

Sango came over and said "Hey love birds!"

I smiled and said "Hey Sango."

Bankotsu asked "Should we tell her now?"

I noded and he said proudly "Cathy and I are to be married in 2 weeks!"

Sango squealed with joy and said "WOW! CONGRATS!"

I blushed and said "Thanks!"

Bankotsu said "Thanks!"

I proudly showed Sango my engagement ring.

She said "AWW how sweet! It's breath taking too!"

I noded.

Bankotsu grinned.

Sango said "I better head to homeroom, see yall later! Oh can I tell Miroku?"

Bankotsu noded and said "Go ahead!"

Sango grinned and took off.

Bankotsu and I hugged each others waists and walked into homeroom and sat together.

Monday morning: Home room.

We sat together talking about the big test later in history and our science projects.

I sighed heavily and said "Trouble will start as soon as THEY find out."

Bankotsu lightly carressed my cheek and said "Don't worry baby NO ONE can ruin this for us now!"

I smiled, kissed his cheek and said "I know, it's just...how do you think your brothers are gonna take the news?"

He sighed heavily and said "Suikotsu won't be so happy because he will think it is to soon and all but Jaky will be thrilled!"

I smiled a little sadly and said "I hope Suikotsu isn't to upset."

Bankotsu kissed my hand and said "Even if he is babe, he will get over it sooner or later! This is OUR decision! Not his!"

I noded and said "You are right, I just...I don't want to cause a rift between you and your brother...."

He smiled and said "Cathy, love, you wouldn't be the cause of the rift, he would! Frankly I don't give a damn! I KNOW what I want and that is to marry you and ONLY you!"

I smiled.

He said "Now, let's stop worrying about something that may not even happen and focus on US! Our future together!"

I smiled and noded.

He said "So when do you want to start house hunting?"

I said "How about saturday morning?"

He noded and said "Next question, any idea how many bedrooms you want in it?"

I said "Hm, lets see, 5 at least."

He raised a brow and asked "Why so many?"

I smiled and said "For starters one for us, 2-3 guest bedrooms and a nursery. Not that we plan on kids anytime soon, since I am sure we want to graduate first! BUT when Sesshu and Rin come by and start having little ones it would be nice to have a room avalible for the pups wouldnt it?"

He noded and said "Ok, 5 bedrooms it is then. What kind of kitchen do you want?"

I said "One set up with two ovens for the holidays and family reunions and such, and lots of cabinent space."

He laughed and said "Typical of a women, okay. Pool or no?"

I said "Sure, and a nice sized yard front and back."

He noded.

I asked "What about you? What do you want as far as a house goes?"

He said "A room for a dojo, a room for the ancient swords and such, and a two car garage."

I smiled and noded.

The bell rang and Yura and Yuki walked by us and thier eyes widdened when they saw my ring.

Yuki demanded "WHAT!?! What the hell is that!?" pointing at my ring.

Bankotsu grinned and said happily "An engagement ring!"

Yuki feinted and Yura became furious.

Yura screamed "HELL NO! You are NOT marrying my Banky!"

Bankotsu glarred at her, clenched his fists and said dead seriously "YES! Cathy and I ARE getting married in two weeks! And NO ONE is gonna stop us either! Now for the LAST TIME stop calling me fucking BANKY!"

Yura become really frightened and began backing away because she had NEVER seen Bankotsu that angry before.

Bankotsu pulled me into his side, I leaned into him and wrapped my arms around his waist.

He slowly relaxed and said "Now before we were so rudely interupted, last question love, city or country?"

I smiled and said "I prefer country, I just love being out in nature."

Bankotsu noded and said "Same here, Okay then, I will see what I can get set up for us!"

I kissed his cheeck, the bell rang and we walked to our math class.

Monday morning: Math and trouble begins.


We entered holding hands, smiling and took our seats.

We held hands across the way untill Kouga walked in and saw the ring on my finger.

Kouga gasped "Ca... Cathy!? Is.. Is that what I think it is!?"

I grinned and noded, Bankotsu grinned as well.

Kouga looked shocked for a moment then broke into a huge wolfish grin and asked "Does that mean..?"

I noded again and said "The council has approved as well."

Kouga grinned picked me up, twirled me around and hugged me tight, then set me gently on my feet, kissed my cheek and said "Congratulations babe!"

I hugged him and I said "Thank you!"

He noded then clasped Bankotsu's hand and shook it heartily and said dead seriously "It is no small feat you have accomplished in getting the council's approval! AND If it were ANYONE else I would NOT allow this! But you man...Congrats my friend! Take care of her okay!"

Bankotsu shook his hand heartily, grinned and said dead seriously "I intend to take VERY good care of her! And Thanks!"

Kouga grinned and took his seat.

Ayame overheard our conversation, ran over and hugged me and said "I am happy for you both!"

I hugged her back and said "Thanks!"

Bankotsu smiled and said "Thanks!"

Ayame hugged Bankotsu and he returned the hug.

Ayame took her seat.

Everyone else walked in.

The bell rang and Mr A walked in.

Hieten, and Naraku glarred at us as they took thier seats, and Heiten warned "This is NOT anywhere near over!" as he passed us.

I sighed heavily and Bankotsu squeezed my hand in a reassuring manner.

I smiled, noded, and squeezed his hand back.

Mr A said "Today we due our own assignments!"

He then passed out the assignments and explained how to do them.

For most of the class we all worked on our assignments, then when they were completed we turned them in.

I went to walk back to my seat and passed Bankotsu on the way back.

We smiled at each other briefly and I took my seat, he turned in his assignment and took his seat.

The last 10 minutes of class everyone sat around talking in groups.

Kouga, Ayame, Bankotsu, and I sat together discussing the party we had attended at Bankotsu's this past saturday.

We all laughed together and ignored Heiten and Naraku's constant glares, which only pissed them off even more.

Finally the bell rang and we all went out the door and walked to science class.

Monday morning: Science

We walked in holding hands, I kissed Bankotsu and whispered "Be careful love!"

He kissed me and whispered "I can handle myself baby! YOU becareful! I don't like that Heiten sits behind you in this class! Nor Naraku next to him!"

I noded, we kissed once more and took our seats.

Heiten and Naraku took thier seats glarring at me just as the bell rang.

I got out my stuff, prepared for class, and the bell rang.

Heiten tugged hard enough on my hair to lean into my ear and whispered angrily "Think your so smart, don't you!? I got news for you babe! You WILL be mine! Your little lover won't be able to save you either!"

Then he let go of my hair after hearing Inuyasha's and my warning growls.

Inuyasha faced Heiten and warned dead seriously "Do NOT touch or threaten my cousin again you pathetic little wretch or I WILL shred you limb from limb!"

Heiten laughed coldly and said "Don't make me laugh mutt! You would never be able to lay a hand on me!"

Inuyasha and I growled warnings and Rin said "Maybe, maybe not, But I GARUNTEE Sesshomaru WILL tear you limb from limb!"

Heiten sobered up and said "If you tell your mate, I will make damn sure you pay for it you little bitch!"

I demanded angrily "Heiten leave my family ALONE!"

Heiten said "Wait and see Cathy you WILL be mine!"

I slapped him hard across the face and said "NEVER!"

He saw my ring, chuckled and said sarcastically "Aww how sweet he even bought you a ring huh? Demon laws say claim marks, so that pathetic trinkett won't be worth a damn thing!"

I said angrily "It is worth EVERYTHING to me you baka! You and your threats mean ZERO to me!"

Heiten kicked the back of my desk angrily and said furiously "Wait untill next class bitch! Then see what will happen!"

I said smugly "Not a damn thing because Sesshomaru will be there!"

Heiten yanked my hair so hard my head snapped back.

Bankotsu ran up, hit him in the back of the head and demanded angrily "Take your vile, hands off MY FINACEE, NOW!"

Naraku moved to get up and was met by Inuyasha's fist to his face.

Rin jumped up and said angrily "Leave my cousin alone NOW!

Mrs H said angrily "OUTSIDE ALL OF YOU NOW!"

Bankotsu, Inuyasha, Rin, and I walked out with our stuff together.

Heiten and Naraku followed after us, and they were followed by a very angry Mrs H.

Mrs H demanded "What the HELL is wrong with all of you!?"

I said evenly "Heiten and Naraku are pissed because Bankotsu and I are getting married in 2 weeks. Heiten hurt me, Bankotsu helped me, Rin and Yash helped as well."

Everyone but Mrs H glarred and each others group.

Mrs H said "First of all you two are way to damn young to even think about marriage, secondly keep this crap OUT of my class! UNDERSTOOD!?"

We all noded and she said "Good! NOW ALL of you are going to have detention for today for disrupting my class and if you try to ditch you will be expelled! Understood!?"

We all noded again.

She said "Good now Heiten, you will be moved to the back of the class and Cathy you will be moved to the front of class. Naraku you will be moved to the middle of class and Inuyasha you will be moved to the other side of the front of class, and Bankotsu, you will be moved to the other side of the back of class! NOW I suggest you take your seats!"

We walked in and sat in our new seats, then she said "Now that this has been settled, Take out your reports and go over them ALONE!"

We all took out our reports and readt them over untill the last 5 minutes of class, that is when everyone started getting ready to leave for our next classes.

Bankotsu walked over to me and pulled me into his embrace, I sighed and leaned into him just as the bell rang.

He walked me to my next class, kissed me and whispered "Take care love!"

I kissed him back and whispered "You too!"

He walked off to his class, I went inside mine and took my seat, followed by Kouga, Rin and Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru said seriously "Cathy, Rin told me everything! Worry not I will deal with Heiten after school today personally! He will NEVER threaten you, or my mate again!"

I noded and said "My main concern is for Ban, I am worried they will gang up on him and while he is very strong, I am afraid they will actually TRY to kill him."

Sesshomaru and Kouga said dead seriously "Not while I am around they won't!"

I noded and thanked them both.

The bell rang and we all took our seats and faced the black board.

Mr Kinshin walked in and said "First of all welcome back Mr Tashio and Miss Aki!"

Sesshomaru said proudly "It's Mrs Tashio now."

Mr Kinshin noded and said "Mrs Tashio. Now I hope everyone is ready for the test!"

Then Mr Kinshin passed out the tests and said "Begin!"

We all took our tests and handed them in one by one.

Sesshomaru and I turned ours in right behind one another.

Hieten turned his in and passed my desk and whispered "Your mine come lunch time bitch!"

Sesshomaru whispered "Not in this life time you wretched pup!"

Heiten glarred at Sesshomaru and me and then went back to his seat.

Kouga rubbed my shoulders and whispered "Don't worry babe, I will make certain niether you nor your finacee are alone for the rest of the day!"

I whispered "Thanks Kouga." and he noded.

The bell rang and Sesshomaru. Kagome, Rin and I walked over to my locker and I put my stuff away.

Bankotsu walked up, asked "Ready for your next class?" I noded, hugged him and he hugged me back.

Sesshomaru walked over and said "We will escort you and Cathy since we have the same class as her."

Bankotsu noded and we all walked off to my next class.

Bankotsu and I kissed each other briefly and he left to his next class.

I said "Oh yeah, Sesshu, Rin, you should both know Kinky-ho and Kagura are in this class now."

Sesshomaru noded and said "Rin, stay by me at ALL times!"

Rin noded and said "Yes, love!"

We all walked in and took our seats.

Monday afternoon: Art class, a couple of bitches, and fights galore.

Warning: Attempted rape scene!

Mrs L walked in just as the bell rang and said "Today we will be sketching on our own, I want you to sketch a scene of a sunrise on a beach and be sure to include the ocean."

Everyone noded, pulled out thier sketch books and pencils, and began sketching.

Kagura's eyes widdened as she walked by Rin and Sesshomau.

Kagura became very angry and yelled "How could you Sesshomaru!? How could you take a human bitch for your mate!?"

Kagura angrily tackled Rin knocking her out of her desk.

Sesshomaru jumped up so did I.

Sesshomaru shoved Kagura off Rin and helped Rin up.

I walked over to Rin and asked "You okay?"

Rin noded.

Sesshomaru faced Kagura and said angrily "You will NEVER speak to or about my mate with such disrespect again! Understood!?!"

Kagura whined "You were supposed to mate with me Sesshomaru not some.....some.....human!"

Kagura spat the word "human" with such vileness.

Sesshomaru said cooly "She may be a human, but she is more woman then you will ever be! AND SHE IS MY MATE! NOW BACK OFF!"

I said "Go on Kagura run crying to your bastard brother!"

Kikyo jumped on my back and started yanking my hair.

I threw her off and said angrily "Keep your skanky ass off me you filthy bitch! I don't want to chance catching anything you or that bastard might have!"

Kikyo got angry and charged at me knocking me to the ground.

I kicked her off me, jumped up and away from her.

Mrs L came over and demanded "ENOUGH! ALL 4 of you outside NOW!"

We all got up and went to sit outside.

I was the first one outside and two doors down were both Naraku and Heiten.

Heiten ran over and slammed me against the wall pinning my arms.

I kicked out at him and he used his body to trap and pin my legs as well.

Heiten leaned over and growled a warning growl and demanded "Stop struggling you stupid bitch!"

Naraku walked over and held my arms so Heiten could rip my shirt front and exposed my bra.

I screamed "Get the fuck off me you filthy bastards!"

Sesshomaru flew into the hall, tackled Naraku and threw him into the wall.

Then Sesshomaru growled angrily, tore Heiten off of me and flung him backwards.


Warning: End attempted rape scene!


Rin ran over to me and asked "You ok?"

I growled said evenly "Fine Rin, thanks."

Rin noded.

I glared at Naraku and Heiten and yelled angrily "Those bastards have gone to far this time!"

I jumped on to Naraku's back, knocking my down and started beating him with my fists as hard and fast as I could.

Kikyo tackled me knocking me off of him and we rolled around hitting each other.

I threw Kikyo off of me and growled "You phsyco slut! Get the hell off!"

Naraku yanked me up and pinned me to his chest smirking.

I growled, kicked him in the balls.

Then when he released me I round house kicked him away from me.

I spun around and threw a punch at Kagura who had jumped towards me, hitting her directly in the face.

Sesshomaru had Heiten by the throat against the wall and was punching him in the stomache.

Sesshomaru said angrily "NEVER threaten my mate or cousin again!"

Sesshomrau slammed his fist into Heiten's stomache again and dropped him.

Naraku grabbed me from behind and I slammed my head back breaking his nose.

He howled in pain, let me go to hold his nose and growled "You stupid fucking bitch! You broke my fucking nose!"

I growled and said angrily "Touch me again and I will do a helluva lot more then break your nose!"

Kikyo jumped on my back again and screamed "How dare you threaten my boyfriend bitch!?"

I threw her off and she ran towards me and met my fist right in face.

I said angrily "Because your fucking boyfriend just tried to rape me AGAIN kinky-ho! Keep that vile excuse of a bastard away from me and there wouln't be a problom kinky-ho!"

Kagura growled and tackled me and yelled "My brother only tried to fuck you because your such a sassy bitch, and you keep defying him!"

I threw her off me and said angrily "Your fucking boyfriend tried to help his sorry ass, slut so shut the fuck up!"

I punched Kagura in the face and growled angrily "That is the LAST straw!"

Rin tackled Kagura and beat the hell out of her.

Kagome tackled Kikyo and beat the hell out of her.

Kagura threw Rin off and Sango tackled Kagura.

Miroku pulled Sango off and I slammed my foot into Kagura's side.

The bell rang, Inuyasha ran up asked Rin what happened, then he angrily tackled Naraku and began beating him to a bloody pulp.

I felt someone grab me from behind and turned around to swing my fist in thier face.

Bankotsu blocked me and said "Whoo baby! Calm down ok."

I sighed heavily and lowered my fist.

Bankotsu looked at my ruined shirt and became very angry.

I said "Sorry baby."

Sesshomaru kicked Heiten in the ribs, walked over to Rin, and pulled her into his arms.

Bankotsu wrapped his arms around me and said dead seriously "S' okay baby. Now go wait by Rin and the others while I finish this!"

I noded and walked over to stand by Rin, Kagome, Sango, and Miroku, and Sesshomaru.

Bankotsu ran over to Heiten and slammed his fist in Heiten's face.

Bankotsu yelled angrily "How DARE you even TRY to hurt my finacee!?"

Inuyasha got off the now uncounsious Naraku, walked over to me, hugged me to him and asked "You Ok Cathy?"

I noded.

Inuyasha opened his locker, pulled out a white t-shirt, handed it to my and said "Take Sango and Kags with you and go change your shirt!"

I noded, he walked us to the girls bathroom and waited outside the door.

I changed into his over large shirt and walked back outside.

Inuyasha walked us back over in time to see Bankotsu sitting over Heiten with his fist pulled back and then slam it into Heiten's face once more.

Bankotsu dropped Heiten's shirt front, stood up, kicked him in the ribs and said angrily "Don't you EVER go anywhere near my fiancee again you vile bastard!"

Bankotsu walked over to me, wrapped me in his arms and I burried my head on his chest.

He tightened his hold slightly, I wrapped my arms around his waist and started crying.

He stood there holding me untill I stopped crying and he kissed the top of my head.

Principal Myoga demanded angrily "ALL OF YOU, MY OFFICE IMMEDIATELY!"

We all went to the principal's office.

Monday afternoon: Principal's office, and suspensions.

Once the last of us entered the office, Principal Myoga slammed the door shut and demanded "What the HELL is going on!?!"

I said "Heiten and Naraku tried to rape me! Sesshomaru knocked them off of me, then kinky-ho and Kagura attacked me and I fought back!"

Principal Myoga said "So these two tried to rape you, those two attacked you, and your cousins protected you huh?"

I noded.

Principal Myoga demanded "And you Bankotsu!? Where do you fit into this!?"

Bankotsu said evenly "Catherine is MY fiancee!"

Principal Myoga nodded and said "I see."

I sighed heavily and said "I suppose this means even more dentention?"

Principal Myoga shook his head and said "Nope, I will go you one better, you are ALL suspended for fighting! 1 month!"

I said "WHAT!?! Isn't that a little harsh!?"

Principal Myoga said "Sorry Cathy, but my desicion stands! You have all been getting into trouble lately and therefore ALL of you are suspended for 1 month!"

I sighed heavily, and everyone noded.

Principal Myoga said "I would suggest ALL of you use that time to reflect on all of this! Now I will summon security to escort you all off school property, you have 5 minutes to get your stuff from your lockers."

We all went to our lockers and cleaned them out and went to our vehicles.

Sesshomaru said "Inuyasha, Cathy, Sango, we will all meet back at our place."

We all noded and drove off towards our place.

Bankotsu pulled up and parked in front of the house.

I said sadly "I am sorry Ban, I didn't mean for anyone to get into trouble."

He looked at me and said "Don't be! it was bound to happen sooner or later baby."

Then he grew angry, slammed his palm against the wheel and seethed "Besides those vile bastards had NO business even touching you!"

He wrapped his arms around me and asked dead serious "Are you really okay baby?"

I wrapped my arms around his neck, sighed heavily, held him tight and said "Yeah, Sesshu got there in time to stop them from doing anything more than tearing my shirt."

He sighed heavily and said "Thank goodness!" hugged me tightly, pulled me over into his lap and burried my head on his chest.

He opened the door, we climbed out, he locked the door, pulled me into his chest and just held me for a while.
