Moonlight
The feel of his breath
warm against her moon-kissed skin
as his face caressed
the soft skin of her pale neck
gave her goose bumps as he moved.
Electric shivers,
the way his arm wrapped around,
pulling her closely
in a safe circle, skin to skin,
his hard chest to her smooth back.
Beneath the full moon
his claws making lazy patterns
gleamed in the soft light
where they moved on her white thigh
then dipped into her shadows.
Closing her eyes when
his warm lips tasted her skin
she breathed deep his scent
and knew, as she surrendered,
no place in time was more home.
