Cat Demon

"Dam-it this stuff won't come off," said the frustrated Inu Yasha. He was shaking his hands trying to get the blood off of them. They had just found another shard. It was with a cat demon.

"I can't stand the smell, I smell horrible!" Everyone could hear the anger rising in his voice as he continued to walk. They all decided that it would be better not to tease him. They also decided it would be best to stay at least a good five feet away from the smelling Inu Yasha. Even Myouga the flea, refused to try to take a sip of the half demons blood.

The fight was gruesome. Both demons despised one another more then anyone could imagine. Inu Yasha had a low growl in the bottom of his throat. The snow white cat demon stared Inu Yasha down with big, green, Persian eyes. As soon as she broke eye contact with Inu Yasha and looked at Kagome Inu Yasha charged.

Even though Kagome loved Cats she also cared deeply for the half demon in front of her. She released an arrow nicking the top of the cat's ear, leaving enough of a cut that it had a flow of blood coming out. The cat went to strike Inu Yasha but he dodged it just enough to get a scratch on his arm. By then the blood had stain much of the fur a pale red. The cat went to slice Kagome, but pulled back and cried out in pain, for the blood had made its way into the cat's eyes leaving it blind. It was totally unprepared for Inu Yasha's next attack. He drew the tetsiga from its sheath and sliced the cats head off.

The head fell down to the green grass below them in the open field. Inu Yasha turned around with a proud look on his face. Everyone heard a noise come from behind him. He turned around and looked at the dead cat's body. A smell of rotten eggs and cat came up strong. "Gross," everyone screamed out behind him as they backed up. Inu Yasha had placed his sleeve over his extremely sensitive nose and was about to faint. He started to back up away from the body, but didn't get away fast enough. The body exploded leaving him covered in cat blood and smelling really bad.

The whole group all let out a big sigh of relief when Inu Yasha found a spring up ahead. Where he could go and wash off. Kagome had made him bring some sort of purple body wash and shampoo called Herbal Essence to help him get the smell out.

While he bathed the rest of the group set up camp. It was in a small clearing in the middle of the forest not far from the spring. It was not real grassy more dirt then anything. They had started a fire in the middle and Kagome had some Ramen cooking for everyone. As soon as it was almost done Inu Yasha appeared ready for food.

It was a simple meal that everyone always enjoyed. Plus it was cheep and Kagome's mom had no problem buying it. The dinner was eaten in total silence. It stayed that way after dinner too. It made Kagome and Songo feel nervous. They both glanced at each other nodded their heads and got up and walked away.

"Where are you going," Miroku and Inu Yasha asked in union. By then though, the girls had disappeared into the thick trees. They were too far in to hear the boys. "They probably just went to that spring you went to Inu Yasha," Shippo responded to the question that was obviously not directed to him.

"Wow, a hot spring this is nice," Kagome said as she walked into the water and sat next to her best friend Songo.

"What was with the dead silence back there?" Songo asked Kagome with a worried voice.

"Well it couldn't be anything too serious. I mean come on if there was something wrong you know Inu Yasha would have said something."

"Yeah I guess you're right Kagome," Songo responded.

"Some things on your mind too isn't it Songo," Kagome asked her.

"Well you see we have heard news that one of my villagers maybe alive and Miroku, Shippo, and I are spouse to go check it out. I really want you to come, but it just I feel we all need to be on our own for a little bit. I mean we will be passing a friend of Miroku who he really wants to see and where Shippo's father was killed and he wants to go one last time before he moves on. I really want you to come, but I feel that some people should continue the search for the jewel shards. You're not made at me right?"

"Of course not I understand. Plus I guess it would be like old times for Inu Yasha and I, so don't worry about it. Where would we be meeting you guys again," asked Kagome.

"Probably on the way back from my village we will stop by Kaede's hut. That would be in three days you guys can meet us there right?"

"Of course we can it would be no problem at all will you be leaving tomorrow?" Kagome wasn't sure what to think of all this.

"Yeah, when the sun comes up we're leaving to get a good start."

"Ok, just wake me up and say bye ok?"

"No problem at all and Inu Yasha has already been told by Miroku by now," Songo thought this was going pretty well with Kagome. She had a feeling it wasn't with Inu Yasha though.

"You're what!" Inu Yasha's screams were heard by the girls.

"Well I guess Inu Yasha isn't taking it that well," Kagome told Songo with a little giggle at the end.

They both got dressed and headed back to the camp, where the screaming had not stopped. "YOU CAN NOT LEAVE ME HERE WHILE YOU GUYS GO OFF AND HAVE FUN."

"Inu Yasha SIT BOY, Kagome yelled trying to get over his voice.

She leaned over to Songo who was now sitting down. "I want the silence back again," she said while laughing at the same time. Songo and Kagome started to laugh. Inu Yasha look over at them and got quiet. They had gotten lucky cause he didn't here them over the spell.

"Well," Miroku said in a tired voice, "I think it's time we all got ready for bed, good night everyone."

"Good night," everyone but Inu Yasha said back.

Kagome rolled out her sleeping bag and got in. Shippo got on top of her as usual. Inu Yasha choose a branch right above Kagome to keep an eye on her as usual. Songo settled down across from Kagome and Miroku leaned against a near by tree while holding his staff up. Kagome was pretty tired and was out fairly quickly. As was Songo, Miroku, and Shippo. As always with Inu Yasha he stayed awake for a long time keeping an eye on things. He could only keep his eyes open so long before his lids got heavy and he pasted out. Sleep had captured them all for a change of pace.

So what did u think good bad ok needs something please let me know. Also should it be a Loving kindda ending or sad or just he saves her let me know what you think thanks a bunk
