As always Inu Yasha and other characters in this story do not belong to me. Also I did not get the reviews from one person yet over 20 people read the first chapter. I decided I would get the next chapter out since I'm on summer vacation and have a lot of time on my hand. Please Please review if you read the beginning of my fan fiction

Mystery

The sun rose up just above the tree tops in the forest. The sky was a mixture of blue, pink, and purple. There was barely enough light to see where everyone was going. Songo, Miroku, and Shippo was getting the little bit of stuff that they had together so it would be easy to carry on their trip. All that was left was to wake up Kagome and say bye. Though it wasn't something that they wanted to do it had to done so they could go and get there stuff done while Inu Yasha and Kagome could continue their search for jewel shards.

Songo gently shook Kagome trying to get her friend up so they could leave and get going. Kagome was having a hard time letting go of the dream that she was having. She opened her eyes and saw Songo looking at her.

"Are you guys leaving now?"

"Yeah we are out of here I just wanted to say bye," Songo responded to the tired Kagome.

She pulled herself out of her sleeping bag. Rubbed her tired eyes and looked over at the small group getting ready to leave. She stood up and stretched. Then walked over to them and gave them all a hug. Watched them leave. Then she looked up at Inu Yasha. He was still asleep. It was the first time she had seen him really sleep in the year that she knew him.

She knew how to get him out of that sleep. She put some Ramen on the fire to cook it. She took it off the fire let out another yawn. Her eyes shut in the yawn. When she reopened them Inu Yasha was sitting there eating the noodles like a happy puppy.

"Well, I guess it didn't take long to wake you now did it."

Inu Yasha shot her a glare. He realized that he was caught sleeping by the whole group not just Kagome. He finished the noodles quickly and looked over at Kagome who was packing her stuff up. He jumped back into the tree he was just in. If he just waited for her to finish packing they could get going, but he was getting impatient. He could feel his anger raising. He wanted to get out of there and find jewel shards.

"WOULD YOU HURRY UP ALREADY?"

Kagome looked up at him and gave him a cold stare. "INU YASHA SIT BOY," she just couldn't take it.

"I WISH YOU COULDN'T TALK YOU STUPID GIRL YOU'RE GOING TO PAY ONE OF THESE DAYS."

"OH IS THAT SO, WELL WE WILL SEE ABOUT THAT WONT WE," Kagome was getting frustrated with him and stomped off.

"YOU CAN'T LEAVE WE HAVE TO FIND JEWEL SHARDS!"

"WATCH ME!" She walked through the forest with her bow and arrows in her hands.

"Wow, she's lovely isn't she Inu Yasha it's too bad you have to upset her so much. Well, I can fix that for you don't worry I will grant your wish. Don't worry she won't bother you anymore. Her voice will no longer be a problem to you. Actually nether will she," A voice came from behind Inu Yasha sending a chill down his back. "Just remember silence is golden while speech is silver."

"Kagome…," he didn't finish what he was going to say he ran off in the direction Kagome had walked hearing the voice laughing as he ran away.

"Stupid Inu Yasha threatening me grr I can't stand him. All I am is a Jewel detector to him aren't I, well fine with me not like I care about him anyway. She continued to walk off in complete silence. Not even thinking twice about it.

Kagome had a weird feeling that she was being followed. She kept looking over her shoulder. I must be going crazy, I got to stop worrying about myself so much, she thought to herself. Wow the forest is so beautiful today. I guess I should head back to the campsite.

"Wow, isn't that funny I mean you don't even realize you're not talking do you. I guess it worked better then I thought. Well you're mine now and I'm going to make sure you bleed and cry by the time I'm done with you. You want to know what's even more funny, you won't be able to scream during the whole time I have you," A guy in black dove out of the air and grabbed Kagome. She didn't even have time to react to what was happening to her. She was put into a daze for a slight second.

She tried to cry out she even tried to scream Inu Yasha's name. Nothing would come out it just screamed through her mind. Oh no he can't hear me what am I going to do. He's going to me too. He doesn't seem like the type to lie about he's going to do.

"KAGOME!!" no she's gone she couldn't gotten any farther then this. No Kagome I won't let anything happen to you. His mind wouldn't stop racing, all the things that could be done to hurt her especially with no voice for her to scream. No way for him to find her real quickly.

So what did you think good bad ok it was a little short but you know I need to get the story going first before I can get longer chapters. I want reviews (at least 3 would be nice) it would be really nice. Just for folks out there who care I'm changing my rating between pg13 and R because there's going to be blood and people getting hurt anyway please Review!!!
