Chapter 3

In Kagome's Dream

*Where am I?* "Hello, anybody there?" Shrugging, she walks further into the forest. She was walking for a mere ten minutes when she reach a shrine in the middle of the forest. The shrine is no bigger that a gazebo. Walking up the stone steps she reaches the door and she lowly opens in. She steps inside the room that is glowing a blueish light. She carefully examines the room, trying to pinpoint the source of the light.

Spotting a small table in the centre of the room and cautiously walks towards it. On the table, in a glass case is the most beautiful pendant she ever saw. It was a sapphire star with tiny silver stars attached to each of the first star's point. On either side of the star, attached to the silver chain is two small sapphire moons. At the right side of the neckless was a gold plaque that read. "Only she who protects can wear this pendant. It will reveal her true self."

End of Dream

Kagome lay on the cold ground thinking. * I wonder does that dream hold any meaning? Maybe once I bust out of this hell hole, I'll find that shrine and see that pendant up close. Man this floor is cold.* Kagome opened her eyes to take in her surroundings. She lay in the dungeon, chained to the wall. ( rolls her eyes ) * how medieval, chaining people to walls. Well since I have nothing better to do I might as well come up with a plan to escape this God forsaking place.* There she lay thinking for hours on end.

Finally, six hours later see came up with a full proof plan. Tomorrow she would put her plan into action. But for now she will get some sleep so that she is rested for her escape.
