I'm sorry this chapter took me so long to write up, put I've been reeeaaally busy with school and now at last I got break from school to whole week, so I have some time to write few chapters up and post them to fanfiction.net. Sleepless Night - four by: Mayu

Kagome was nervous and everyone could notice it. The day had been all the way normal. They had been fought against three differend youkai's who had attacked them while they have had a little break from walking. Only two of the tree youkai's have had piece of Shikon no Tama.

Kagome looked around as they walked on a big muddy road towards the nearest village. 'It's almost dawn. I hope he has forgot me... *sigh* Oh dear Kami-sama!!! Don't let him come to get me!' She thought.

"Kagome? Is everything alright?" Sango asked from her friend.

"Huh? What?" Kagome asked waking up from her thoughts, looking at Sango in a question.

"I asked if everything is alright. You look kind a nervous," Sango repeat.

"I'm fine," Kagome replied, making a fake smile on her face.

It suddenly started to wind. The wind blow really hard, making Sango and Kagome fall down on their butt's. Kagome looked up from the ground and saw a young woman, with long brown hair and brown eyes. She had a beautiful kimono and her hair was on ponytail. The woman was looking at two girls on the ground dead in her eyes.

"Which one of you two is Kagome?!?" The woman snapped.

"You are one of Naraku's greatures, aren't you?!?" Inu-Yasha yelled to the woman, sniffing the air that smelled like Naraku. The woman didn't answer, she just keep on looking Sango and Kagome.

"I asked which one of you two idiotes is Kagome?!?" The woman snapped again.

"Who are you?" Sango asked.

"Kagura," The woman answered looking at Sango.

"Are you Kagome?" She asked.

"No, I'm Kagome... What do you want from me?" Kagome asked, getting up from the ground.

"So you are the one that the rumors tells that you are Sessho-maru's mate, aren't you, wortless human?" Kagura asked.

"WHAT?!?!?" Inu-Yasha, Miroku, Sango and Shippo yelled at the sametime, looking at Kagome their eyes wildly open.

"No, I'm NOT his mate!!!!" Kagome yelled, feeling a little suprised.

"But I can smell his sense on you,"

"So that's why Kagome smelled funny..." Shippo thought out loud.

"Kagome, what's she talking about?" Sango asked, looking at Kagome.

"What do you want?!?" Kagome yelled, feeling her angry rising quietly inside her.

"To kill you," Kagura said.

"Why?" Kagome asked, feeling no fear towards the woman.

"Why? You ask me why?... Because Sessho-maru should be with me, not with someone ugly human brat!" Kagura snapped.

"If you touch Kagome I'll kill you!!!" Inu-Yasha yelled angrily, running towards Kagura, but got stopped by invisible berrier. "Kuso!!!" He snapped, trying to break the berrier that seemest to surround the three girls.

Kagura laughed as she looked Inu-Yasha trying to break the berrier that she had made around her, and the two girls, "You can't break the berrier that I made. It's useless," Kagura laughed.

"Between me and Sessho-maru is NOTHING!!!!! We are enemies!!!! Nothing else!!!" Kagome yelled angrily.

Kagura looked at the girl, noticing that her aura had grown bigger and it was becoming black. She also noticed her hands, in them was growning something black that looked like bubble. 'A miko,' Kagura thought, putting her hands together, making a red orb in her hands.

Suddenly out of nowhere a sword flew on Kagura. The sword hit Kagura's arm, making her loose her arm. Kagura's eyes were wildly open as she looked around, seeing a youkai standing next to Kagome. His eyes were growning from color of gold to red. Everyone looked at the youkai in suprise as he came into his true form.

A/N: A cliffhanger!!! anyway, I'm sorry if Kagura is OOC, but I don't know much about her, coz I have only read comic book of Inu-Yasha 1 to 12. I have never saw the anime or the movies of Inu-Yasha, so please be kind to me.

Anyway, I'll update very soon, when I get next chapter done.*lol* It won't take long, about day or two, so dontcha worry and keep on reviewing!!! I love to read your comments!!! But please NO FLAMES!!!!
