It's Saturday and Inuyasha got up slowly and yawned. He looked at his clock, he's supposed to meet Kagome, Sango, and Miroku at the mall in three hours. He walked to his window and saw Kagome brushing her hair in the mirror she was already dressed.

“Good morning!” Inuyasha yelled to her.

Kagome jumped in her chair and fumbled her hairbrush then looked out the window and smiled.

“Morning!” Kagome yelled back.

“I'll pick you up in two hours!” Inuyasha said and incase she didn't hear him he put up two fingers.

“Okay!” Kagome said and waved and went back to what she was doing.

Inuyasha got ready and ate breakfast.

“Where are you going?” Sessh asked when he came down the stairs.

“To the mall with Kagome and my friends, what's it to you?” Inuyasha said as she ate more.

“Cant your big brother ask about his little brother's day?” Sessh looked hurt. “And speaking of Kagome, Rin's birthday is coming up and she wants a party.”

“What's that have to do with Kagome?” Inuyasha said still eating.

“I want her to help.” Sessh said.

“What?” Inuyasha almost choked.

“Is that a problem?” Sessh crossed his arms.

“Um… no but you have to ask her.” Inuyasha said and finished his food.

Inuyasha was heading to the door, “Can you ask her since you're already going with her now?”

Inuyasha stepped out the door, “No!” Inuyasha jumped the fence to Kagome's house and knocked on the door. Kagome answered.

“Hey!” Kagome said happily to Inuyasha and kissed him softly on the lips. “Mom I'm going!” Inuyasha heard Kagome's mom yell `bye'.

Inuyasha jumped the fence to his house and Kagome walked around. He opened the door for Kagome and they left. Inuyasha stopped by Sango's house to pick her up then Miroku's to pick him up. They headed to the mall. When they walked in they saw Kikyo, and Kagome and Sango gave each other a look. Kikyo waved (to Inuyasha), Inuyasha grabbed Kagome by the waist and pulled her closer to him and waved back. For a second Kikyo looked angry but just smiled and walked off.

“Thanks for doing that.” Kagome said and hugged him tighter.

“I thought you'd like it.” Inuyasha said happily.

The group walked around and Kagome and Sango might want to go into a store but the guys waited outside.

“Sango did you see Kikyo's face?” Kagome asked Sango.

“Classic!” Sango laughed.

Kagome turned around and headed to the register and Sango followed. They didn't know that Kikyo was watching from a distance with her friends.

“Kikyo why are we following them?” Kikyo's friend Kagura asked.

“I'm not really sure but that girl is with Inuyasha and I want to get some dirt on her.” Kikyo explained.

“So were going to throw dirt at her? That sounds… dirty!” Yura asked.

“No stupid we're going to… just shut up!” Kikyo demanded and walked off.

Inuyasha and Miroku were talking.

“So Kikyo likes you?” Miroku asked.

“I don't know and I don't really care.” Inuyasha explained.

“But Kikyo is wanted by every guy in school!” Miroku looked at him shocked.

“What are you talking about? You have Sango, why would you go after Kikyo?” Inuyasha asked and gave him a discussed look.

“I'm just a man with simple needs!” Miroku said and shrugged his shoulders.

“Your gross.” Inuyasha said and rolled his eyes at him.

Soon the girls came out and they stopped talking. They got hungry and stopped by the food court. It was like the whole world's cuisine there was: American, Chinese, Italian, Thai, and Japanese. Sango and Miroku headed to the Thai food place. Inuyasha looked around, he couldn't decide what to eat. He looked down at Kagome but she wasn't there, she was going to the Italian place. Inuyasha followed her, Kagome got in line.

“I want pizza. What do you want?” Kagome asked Inuyasha.

“Um… I don't know you chose for me.” Inuyasha said.

“Okay… you'll get sausage pizza.” Kagome said and smiled at him.

“That sounds good.”

Kagome ordered the food and was about to pay but Inuyasha insisted. Inuyasha grabbed the tray and looked for Miroku's big head in the sea of people.

“Look there's Sango!” Kagome said and pointed at a table where Sango and Miroku were sitting. Inuyasha and Kagome headed over there and sat down. They ate quickly because Sango just saw a girl with a shirt she had to have. Sango made Miroku and Inuyasha throw away everything and ran off with Kagome to the store.

“Dude I have to go to the bathroom, meet me at the sports store.” Miroku told Inuyasha and left. Inuyasha was walking toward the sports store they saw when they left when Kikyo walked up next to him.

“Hi there!” Kikyo said and smiled at him.

“Hi Kikyo!” Inuyasha said and stopped to talk.

“So the buzz around town is that you're going out with Kagome.” Kikyo said

“Wow news really travels fast in this town doesn't it?” Inuyasha asked.

“Yup, so it's true?” Kikyo asked with ashy look.

“Yeah, why?” Inuyasha asked and looked at her she had a weird look on her face.

“Oh, in that case I think I should tell you that Kagome has a rep in this town.” Kikyo looked at him with a worried look.

“Like what?” Inuyasha asked and crossed his arms.

“Well, I've known Kagome since we were little and I know for a fact that she used to steal from small shops around here. One time she wanted me to come with her but I didn't want too.” Kikyo still had the worried look on her face.

“Oh really?” Inuyasha knew he shouldn't believe her but why would she lie about Kagome.

“Inuyasha!” Inuyasha turned around and Kagome was coming with Sango and Miroku.

“Hey Kagome!” Inuyasha said. “I was just talking about you with Kikyo.” Kikyo had an evil smile on her face.

“Oh yeah?” Kagome said and looked at Kikyo.

“Yeah she just said you used to steal from stores.” Inuyasha said.

“What!? That's so stupid I've known Kagome ever since we where babies she would never do such a thing!” Sango yelled and looked as if she was going to kill Kikyo. Kagome just sat there looking at Inuyasha. Does he actually believe her? How could he ever think I would ever do such a thing? Tears were welling up in her eyes.

Miroku stepped up to Kikyo, “Nobody has ever stolen in this town except for that one guy and he ratted himself out! So how dare you accuse Kagome of stealing?” Miroku yelled at her.

Inuyasha looked over at Kagome she was now crying and Sango was cuddling her. What was I thinking? Everybody in this town loves Kagome! They told me that I was such a jerk! Inuyasha headed over to Kagome and Kikyo look shocked as Inuyasha hugged Kagome and let her cry in his arms.

“I'm sorry Kagome.” Inuyasha told her and hugged her tighter. “Kikyo I think you should leave.” Inuyasha told Kikyo and she left with out a word.

Inuyasha felt a sharp pain on the back of his head. It was Sango. “How dare you believe that sank over your own girlfriend?” Sango yelled at him and was going to hit him again but Miroku gabbed her and made her stop.

Kagome wiped away her tears and walked up to Inuyasha, “Inuyasha, if this is going work you have to trust me and get that Kikyo is trying to break us up. You can still hang out with her but please be careful” Kagome told him.

“I get it and I think I should stop seeing Kikyo all together.” Inuyasha said, “I'm sorry.” Inuyasha said and Kagome kissed him.

“Thank you.” Kagome said and they walked off as a group.

Later after Inuyasha had dropped off Sango at her house (Miroku went walking home because Sango threw him out of the car when he grabbed her butt) He parked his car at his house and walked Kagome to her house.

“So…” Inuyasha said as they stood on her porch.

“Well call me tomorrow, we'll make plans.” Kagome said and smiled.

“That sounds good” Inuyasha said and kissed her on the lips passionately. Kagome placed her hands on his cheeks and Inuyasha gabbed her waist. Someone opened the door and the couple separated.

“Oh!” It was Kagome's mom and she was holding a bat. “You two scared me I thought it was someone trying to get in.” Kagome's mom looked out of breath. “What was going on out here?”

“Mom you remember Inuyasha… we're going out now.” Kagome said shyly.

“Hi Miss Higurashi.” Inuyasha said.

Kagome's mom smiled and hugged him, “Finally your such a great boy for my Kagome!”

“Mom! Um… Inuyasha has to go now.” Kagome said and that was the sign to stop. “Bye Inuyasha!” Kagome said and gave him a quick peck before going inside. Inuyasha jumped the fence on his way to his house and went inside and went up stairs. When he got up stairs he looked out his window Kagome was waiting for him. She mouthed `goodnight' and blew a kiss, Inuyasha pretended to catch the kiss and waved goodnight. Kagome closed her window and so did Inuyasha, then they both went to sleep.
