Kagome took her notes class, occasionally looking at Inuyasha. It's almost two weeks that they have been dating. Inuyasha wasn't really a distraction in school, but when they studied together mostly they made out. Kagome looked around the class and Koga caught her eye. He was leaning back in his chair; Kagome could tell he wasn't paying attention. And then when we get home he's going to ask me for help! Kagome threw a piece of paper at him. When it hit him he sat up quickly and looked around, Kagome waved at him and mouthed to him to pay attention. Koga gave her a deadly glare and started taking notes. 20 minutes later the saying school was over rang. Kagome was picking up her stuff when Koga came up to her.

“I'll wait for you at the lockers.” Inuyasha said and kissed her on the cheek and left.

“I don't need your help!” Koga said loudly.

“Then don't ask to copy my notes, help you with homework, or explain things.” Kagome said to him.

“Fine!” Koga said angry. Koga was walking away but Kagome grabbed him arm. Koga turned to look at her, “What?”

“I don't want you to fail, let me help you.” Kagome begged.

“I'm doing fine, I don't need to take notes or even come to school.” Koga tried to assure her.

“Look, I'm not trying to be your mother but at least study with me at the library today so if you need help I can help you.” Kagome asked.

“What ever, but what about Inuyasha?” Koga rolled his eyes.

“He has stuff to do so we'll walk home after, okay?” Kagome said and Koga nodded. Kagome walked to her lockers and saw Inuyasha talking to Miroku. “Hey, Miroku.” Kagome said.

“So where's Koga? I need to get home.” Inuyasha said.

“Is it okay if I go to the library with Koga to study?” Kagome asked.

“But your suppose to help set up for Rin birthday tomorrow.” Inuyasha said.

“I will but Koga needs me right now.” Kagome put her hands together and made a sad face.

“Fine but if he tries anything I'll kick his ass.”

“Koga isn't like that! Besides I think him and Ayame have potential.” Kagome said.

“Alright I'll see you tonight.” Inuyasha said and embraced Kagome for a passionate kiss.

“Okay I'll see you.” Kagome said and left to meet up with Koga.

“Nice kiss.” Miroku said.

“Shut up! Where's Sango?” Inuyasha said.

“She had a family thing to she's gone all weekend.” Miroku said but Inuyasha couldn't tell his emotion about it.

“So are you happy about it?” Inuyasha asked.

“I don't know, I would usually be happy so I can go party with other hot girls, but Sango's different. If I even think about another girl I just feel Sango's in my mind and pushes the thoughts out. It's weird!” Miroku said.

“Sounds like it, so you need a ride home?” Inuyasha asked.

“No, Its okay, I have to go job hunting.” Miroku said.

“Why do you need a job?” Inuyasha looked puzzled, Miroku didn't look like the kind of guy to get a job for no reason.

“After graduation I want to take Sango on vacation with me so I need to save up my pennies.” Miroku let out a sigh, “I better go jobs are waiting!” Miroku said and Inuyasha and him touched knuckles and Miroku walked out of the school.

Inuyasha took his time getting out of the school, there's no rush to go help out my brother! Inuyasha made his way to his car but he looked at a bunch of trees and Kikyo was under one of them. She looks worried about something… maybe I should go ask her… It couldn't hurt. Inuyasha took a deep breath and walked over to Kikyo and sat down next to her.

“Hey Inuyasha!” Kikyo said happily.

“Hey what are you doing at school still?” Inuyasha asked her.

“Well my boyfriend was suppose to pick me up but he just called and canceled. I need to get to my job but I don't have a ride and I hurt my leg in PE.” Inuyasha looked at her leg, her ankle was wrapped in a bandage.

Inuyasha closed his eyes, Kagome going to kill me, but I think she'll understand. Inuyasha opened his eyes, “Kikyo I can give you a ride.”

“Oh really Inuyasha? Your great!” Kikyo was about to hug Inuyasha but stopped. “Arent you still mad that I lied about Kagome?” Kikyo asked.

“Well I'm never going to really forgive you but I know you only did it because you don't like Kagome.” Inuyasha said.

“Sure that's why…” Kikyo said.

“But whatever you have against Kagome doesn't mean we have to be enemies, right?” Inuyasha said.

“Right!” Kikyo smiled and Inuyasha drove her to her job. “ It's right here.” Kikyo pointed to a shop across the street from the library where Kagome and Koga were. Kikyo got out of the car and walked to the other side of the car. Kikyo leaned over the car and Inuyasha jerked out of the way. “Aw, how cute your scared of me.” Kikyo said.

“I'm not scared of you, I just don't want you to do something that would make Kagome upset!” Inuyasha said.

“Ok, but you know when you said the reason I lied was because I hated Kagome?” Inuyasha nodded. “Well I do hate Kagome, but the reason I lied was because I want you.” Kikyo said and leaned over and kissed Inuyasha right on the lips. Kikyo put her hands on his cheeks. Kikyo finally broke the kiss and waved to him as she went inside. Inuyasha sat in his car shocked.

“Shit!” Inuyasha cursed and he leaned in seat, Inuyasha took a deep breath, “Kagome!” Inuyasha mumbled he smelled Kagome. He looked across the street and saw Koga cuddling Kagome, she was crying into his chest. Koga saw him and gave him his deadliest stare. Inuyasha got out of his car and walked across the street. “Kagome?”

“Get away! Don't come any closer!” Kagome yelled and looked at Inuyasha. Her face was tear stained and tears were still flooding out of her eyes.

“Inuyasha let me explain!” Inuyasha begged.

“Don't bother!” Kagome cried. Koga let go of Kagome and put his hands in his pockets.

“I'm going home.” Koga said and started walking, Kagome watched him.

“Kagome…” Inuyasha started but couldn't find words. Kagome buried her face in her hands and cried more, Inuyasha reached out to touch her but she moved away.

Kagome wiped her tears; “I'll see you at your house, for Rin's party preparations.” Kagome said to Inuyasha. Kagome looked at Koga, he was at the corner. Kagome looked at Inuyasha, “Koga wait up!” Kagome yelled and ran to Koga. Koga put his arm around Kagome and she hugged him and they crossed the street. Inuyasha cursed himself and drove off.

“Kagome?” Koga said as they walked home.

“Yeah?” Kagome said her voce cracked a little from crying.

“Do you want to talk about it?” Koga asked.

“Yeah! I mean how could he do that to me? First of all he lies and tells me that he's going straight home. Then, he lies again saying he's not going to talk to Kikyo anymore. Then, he kisses Kikyo!” Kagome said and a tear rolled out of her eye.

“Well, I didn't know him very long but he didn't seem like the kind of guy to cheat.” Koga said.

“I trusted him!” Kagome began to cry hard again. Kagome stopped walking.

“I'm sorry, you didn't have to talk about.” Koga said.

“No its not your fault its….”

“Kagome!” Kagome looked around to see who called her name. Inuyasha stopped his car next to them. “Kagome we need to talk!” Inuyasha parked and got out of his car.

Koga stepped in Inuyasha's way, “She doesn't want to talk to you!” Koga said.

“How would you know?” Inuyasha yelled and he saw that Kagome was crying. “What did you do!?” Inuyasha yelled and pushed Koga out of her way and went to Kagome.

“What are you talking about you did this!” Koga yelled.

Inuyasha made his way to Kagome but she slapped him. Inuyasha touched his cheek. Kagome fell to her knees, “Why?” Kagome looked up at him. “Why would you do that?”

Kagome ran away and Koga shook his head at Inuyasha and went after Kagome. Inuyasha sadly got in his car and went the long way home. I was so stupid! How could I be so clueless? Helping Kikyo was the right thing but dropping her off right across the street from where Kagome was… that was the stupidest thing of all. Inuyasha sighed and drove up to his house. Inuyasha went up to his room and looked out his window. Kagome's window was closed but he could see her, she was crying into her pillow and Koga was talking to her.

In Kagome's room: “Maybe I should talk to Inuyasha,” Kagome said. She finally stopped crying, she was out of tears.

“Why?” Koga asked with a discussed look on his face. “What would he say to you, `I cheated, I'm sorry, take me back so I can do it again'. Oh please!” Koga said.

Kagome nodded, “ I just thought I should hear his part of the story…”

“You don't need to hear his part of the story! You saw the show!” Koga said, and looked out Kagome's window. Hey I can see into the mutt's house… Koga a full- blooded wolf demon thought that Inuyasha was a no good half blood. Koga saw Inuyasha; he just came home a couple minutes ago. Koga closed the curtains and sat next to Kagome, she was thinking.

I should talk to Inuyasha, before I didn't want to hear what he had to say. I couldn't get past the fact that he kissed Kikyo! Why would he do that? I should ask… Maybe it's my fault? Did I do something wrong? Was he jealous that I went with Koga to the library? I don't know! I have to go help Sessh; Rin's party will not suffer because of Inuyasha's stupid actions. “Koga I have to go, I need to help Inuyasha's niece.” Kagome said.

“Why should you help?” Koga asked.

“You might not understand, but I need to do this for Rin!” Kagome said and Koga nodded and left so Kagome could get ready.

Inuyasha heard the doorbell ring; he answered it, “Kagome?” Inuyasha saw Kagome at the door.

“Where's Sessh? I'm here to help with the party.” Kagome said and didn't look him straight in the eye.

“Kagome!” Rin came running into the room.

“Hey Rin I thought you weren't coming till tomorrow?” Kagome bent down and picked up Rin and gave her hug.

“Kagome… You're here!” Sessh said from the dinning room and motioned her to come. Kagome put down Rin and started to walk toward the dinning room, but Inuyasha grabbed her arm.

“Kagome, we need to talk.” Inuyasha whispered to her.

“Let me go! Besides… there's nothing to talk about… I saw the show!” Kagome whispered. But Inuyasha didn't let go.

“Kagome…”

“What do you want from me?” Kagome said and a tear rolled down her cheek.

“Please…”

“Kagome are you coming?” Rin poked her head out from the dinning room.

Kagome wiped her tear and nodded with a smile. Inuyasha let go of her arm and watched her walk away. Inuyasha watched Kagome help set up some stuff. Kagome was in the kitchen freezing strawberries in ice cubes.

“How long are going to watch me Inuyasha?” Kagome said with her back turned to him.

“Well I never know when I'm going to see you again.” Inuyasha said.

“You have to see me, we go to school together, we live next door, we have to same route home, and it's a small town. Face it Inuyasha we have to see each other so get used to it.” Kagome said. Kagome turned to him.

“Kagome,”

“Inuyasha I don't know why we care so much, we've only known each other for a couple weeks.” Kagome said.

“I don't know either but when I see you with Koga I feel angry, and I feel like I know you so well.” Inuyasha said.

“Well, I feel I know you too.” Kagome said and went back to work. “At least I thought I did but I never saw you as the kind of guy to cheat.”

“I didn't, Kikyo needed a ride to her work and I was the only one there. And after I dropped her off she kissed me!” Inuyasha explained.

“Inuyasha don't even try to play that card!” Kagome said and cut the strawberries. Kagome was putting the strawberries in the ice holder when she felt two arms around her.

“I don't really care if you believe me, because if you did care for me you would trust me.” Inuyasha said.

Kagome closed her eyes. “I thought I did but, maybe I was wrong.” Tears welled up in her eyes.
