“Inuyasha don't even try to play that card!” Kagome said and cut the strawberries. Kagome was putting the strawberries in the ice holder when she felt two arms around her.

“I don't really care if you believe me, because if you did care for me you would trust me.” Inuyasha said.

Kagome closed her eyes. “I thought I did but, maybe I was wrong.” Tears welled up in her eyes.

Kagome began to cry. Sessh walked in holding Rin, “Kagome how are the strawberry's coming?” Sessh asked.

Inuyasha let Kagome go and left to his room; Rin ran to Kagome and saw she was crying. “Kagome, why are you crying? Did you cut yourself?”

Kagome wiped her eyes and faked a smile, “No Rin, I just don't feel well.” Kagome said.

“Maybe you should go up stairs to rest.” Sessh said and rubbed Kagome's back.

“No I'm fine, besides I need to finish the strawberry-ice.” Kagome smiled, Sessh nodded and took Rin to the living room.

Kagome finished the ice and put them in the freezer. She left to her house and went up to her room. Kagome looked out the window to the front yard.

“Kagome?” Inuyasha's voice said. Kagome looked around through her other window but didn't see him.

“Inuyasha? Where are you?” Kagome said and kept looking around.

“Come back and look down!” Kagome went back to the other window and looked down. Inuyasha was waving at her from the front yard.

“What?” Kagome said annoyed.

“Kagome, where for… something, Kagome!” Inuyasha said trying to recite Romeo and Juliet.

“Why don't you go drink some poison!” Kagome yelled out the window.

“Come on Kagome… It wasn't my fault!” Inuyasha said, then he smiled. Inuyasha began to climb a drain that went up the wall.

Kagome looked around scared, “Inuyasha, someone's going to think your trying to break in! You're going to get hurt!” Kagome said worried.

“I laugh at danger! Ha!” Inuyasha said while he was climbing. Then Inuyasha finally got to Kagome's window.

“Are you crazy?” Kagome said as she helped him in.

“I wouldn't have had to if you would have just thrown down your hair.” Inuyasha joked.

“You scared me! I thought you were going to fall and die!” Kagome yelled at him.

“Aw, you were worried about me.” Inuyasha said and came closer to her.

“I was worried for the pipe!” Kagome said but didn't back up.

“Are you sure about that? Then how come you didn't kiss the pipe?” Inuyasha said and came closer.

“Because I wasn't dating the pipe, besides, the pipe wouldn't have let Kikyo kiss it.” Kagome said and looked away from him.

“Kagome, like I said in my kitchen, I'm sorry, but if you don't believe me I don't really care!” Inuyasha hugged her tightly, Kagome tried to get away from him. “Kagome you should know by now that I really like you! I wouldn't do anything on porpoise to hurt you!” Kagome stopped trying to get away and hugged him back.

“I do trust you, but I can't get that picture of you and Kikyo kissing out of my head.” Kagome said but she wasn't crying.

“Well you should be happy to here I didn't feel anything special when she kissed me, all I could think about was you.” Inuyasha said and looked at her, she was smiling.

“Good!” Kagome said and Inuyasha kissed her.

The door to Kagome's room was cracked open a bit; Koga was watching Kagome and Inuyasha. That mutt is getting on my nerves! Kagome will be my woman, soon.

The next morning Kagome and Koga went over to Inuyasha's house for Rin's birthday party. Koga helped Kagome put up the last of the decorations, Inuyasha watched them closely. Kagome was putting up the `happy birthday' banner from the second floor when she fell; Inuyasha and Koga ran to catch her. Koga was closer and faster, he got there to catch her.

“Oh, thanks Koga! I was so scared.” Kagome said when she was in Koga's arms.

“Oh, no problem.” Koga said and put her down. Inuyasha came up to her.

“Are you okay Kagome?” Inuyasha asked. She nodded and Inuyasha hugged her. Koga gave him an arrogant smile and Inuyasha glared at him.

Kagome went back up to put up the banner and finished the rest of the decorations just as Rin's friends began to arrive. The kids ran around, played in the pool, threw water balloons, and ate.

Rin ran up to Kagome and Sessh, “Thanks for the party Daddy! You to Kagome!” She flashed them a big smile and ran off.

“She's happy,” Kagome said.

“Yeah she is, thanks Kagome, I would have never been able to do this alone.” Sessh said and hugged Kagome.

“No problem Sessh, it was fun.” Kagome broke the hug and gave him a smile.

“Kagome!” Inuyasha yelled and threw a water balloon at her. Kagome threw one back and another and another. Kagome was soon out of water balloons so she ran and jumped into the pool.

“Kagome!” Rin said and swam to her.

“Hey Rin,” Kagome said.

“I'm tired,” Rin said and rubbed her eyes.

“Okay, I'll bring you do your dad.” Kagome helped Rin out of the pool and carried her to Sessh.

“Daddy I'm tired!” Rin said. And the other kids stared complaining too. Sessh called all the parents and all the kids went home after a long day. They waved off the last child and went inside, Rin was fast asleep on the couch.

“I'll carry her to her room.” Sessh said and carried Rin up stairs.

“Where's Koga?” Kagome said and looked around.

“I think he went home an hour ago.” Inuyasha said and went closer to Kagome.

“So we should start cleaning up,” Kagome said and she looked around.

“In a minute,” Inuyasha said and kissed Kagome, Kagome kissed him back. Kagome broke the kiss and smiled.

“I'll go clean up,” Kagome said, and walked away to clean up the backyard.

“She couldn't wait to get away from you.” Sessh said from the stairs.

“Idiot, You don't know what you're talking about.” Inuyasha said in an angry voice.

“You know Koga likes her, I think she might like him too,” Sessh said arrogantly and came down the stairs.

“Kagome doesn't like Koga, she's just nice, Stupid,” Inuyasha said starting to get annoyed.

“Aw, did I hit a nerve?” Sessh said with a chuckle.

“Inuyasha can you help me!” Kagome yelled from outside.

Inuyasha gave Sessh a dirty look before going outside and Sessh gave him an arrogant smile. Then Sessh started cleaning up inside.

Soon Inuyasha's parents came home from the business trip they took a week ago.

“How was the party sweetie?” Inuyasha's mom said and kissed Sessh's cheek.

“It was great Mom, Kagome was a big help and Rin had fun.” Sessh said.

“Where are your brother and Kagome?” His dad asked as he looked around.

“They're outside cleaning up.” Sessh said and growled under his breath.

“It's freezing outside! I'll bring their coats out.” Inuyasha's mom said and left.

“Sesshomaru, you better leave Kagome alone.” Sessh's dad said in a stern voice.

“What do you mean by that?” Sessh stopped cleaning and look at his dad.

“I can tell you like Kagome, She's your brother's girlfriend and I don't want you messing thing's up!” Sessh's dad commanded.

“I'm not doing anything, besides, Kagome is to good for my half-breed half brother!” Sessh said.

“I'm warning you son, this is for your own good,” Sessh's dad said.

“Whatever, I'm busy!” Sessh said and began cleaning again. Sessh's dad shook his head and went outside.

“How was Rin's Party?” Miroku asked on Monday.

“It was so much fun!” Kagome said and Inuyasha hugged her. Miroku didn't know about their fight yet.

“Kagome did a great job.” Inuyasha said and gave her a smile.

“I'm going to get to first period early, I need to ask the teacher something,” Kagome said and Inuyasha nodded, she gave him a kiss before leaving.

“So why isn't Sango here?” Inuyasha asked.

“Her Uncle had a heart attack at her family thing and she is staying with him at the hospital for the rest of the week.” Miroku said and sighed.

“So you miss her?” Inuyasha asked surprised.

“I guess, it's just different, you know, her not being here?” Miroku said.

“Yeah I guess, so don't tell me you didn't flirt with any girls this weekend?” Inuyasha raised an eyebrow.

“Of course I did! But it felt different, it felt like she was watching me.” Miroku said.

“But that didn't stop you did it?” Inuyasha's eyes narrowed.

“Nope!” Miroku said and smiled. Inuyasha sighed.

After school Kagome was talking with Koga and Ayame, Ayame told Koga that she left her jacket in class and he went to get it for her.

“Kagome can I ask you something?” Ayame asked and blushed.

“Sure, what is it?” Kagome asked.

“Do you think that Koga likes me?” Ayame asked and blushed more furiously.

“Um, I wouldn't be the one to ask. I don't really know, sorry.” Kagome said. Ayame looked sad, “Oh, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't, I mean why wouldn't he? Your great!” Kagome said and smiled.

“You really think so? Oh, Kagome, thank you!” Ayame said and hugged her. “Do you think he would want to walk me home?” Ayame asked.

“I don't know why don't ask him?” Kagome said. Ayame nodded. Soon Koga came back with her jacket and Ayame went to go ask him.

“Here's your jacket.” Koga said with a smile.

“Oh, thank you Koga! Um I was wondering if you wanted to walk me home?” Ayame asked.

Koga blushed, “Um…”

“I promise it's not far!” Ayame said and smiled sweetly at him. Koga smiled and nodded. “Thanks Koga you're the best!” Ayame said and gave him a hug and Koga blushed.

“Kagome? What are you looking at?” Inuyasha asked when he saw Kagome.

“A love connection,” Kagome sighed dreamily and hugged Inuyasha tightly. “Love is so beautiful!” Kagome said.

“Yeah it is, it's hard to find true love these days.” Inuyasha said and hugged Kagome tighter.

Inuyasha gave Miroku a ride to his new job, “Thanks Inu!”

“Don't call me that!” Inuyasha said angry.

“Sorry, Bye Kagome!” Miroku said and went inside the building.

“Inuyasha do you know what College you want to go to yet?” Kagome asked.

“I want to go to Tokyo U,” Inuyasha said, “Where do you want to go?”

“I want to go to Tokyo U too!” Kagome said and smiled. “But I want to travel alot before I go.” Kagome said.

“Who's going with you?” Inuyasha asked.

“Um, actually, I was about to ask you to come with me!” Kagome smiled.

“Really, that would be great!” Inuyasha said and Kagome kissed him.

“Yay! I can't believe we have to start sending in our collage applications in, its hard being seniors,” Kagome said.

“It's easier with you with me,” Inuyasha said and they kissed passionately.

A/M: Sorry for the late update! I love you guys and your reviews! But I'm having writers block a lot, but I tried making this chapter as long as I could! I'm also looking for new ideas for a new story so if you give me a good Idea I'll use it! Review PLZ!!!
