And so you know, I plan on doing a sequel to this. The title will be 'To Shed Light on Truth.' It will be a crossover. Not tellin with which show though. Feel free to guess in a review!! There is also a riddle at the end of the chapter. Details at bottom.

Sora and Sesshoumaru returned to their hut. Kouga and Inuyasha wanted to spend some time together, as did Aoji and Shishio. Sora sat on the edge of their massive 5-person bed.
"Sesshoumaru, are you angered at me?" Sesshoumaru turned to Sora as he was near the closet. Sora sat crosslegged on the bed with her head bent.
"Why would I be? I would have acted out the same way. You were merely defending against what you saw as a threat."
Sora twidled her thumbs nervously. "Even though I didn't actually kill her, I helped with her death. I think...we took it too far..."
"Don't say that."
"Eh?" Sora looked at Sesshoumaru with surprise. He walked over to the window and looked out at the lush forest whose shadows danced in the sunlight.
"As an executive, I have to make tough decisions. Sometimes they aren't the best, but they are decisions nonetheless." Sesshoumaru turned and walked over to Sora and sat next to her. He lifted her head and looked into those sky blue eyes that captured his heart.
"Don't ever regret your decisions. As a princess, you must be strong and certain of your authority. No one can blame you for letting your emotions get the best of you. You're human. You're not perfect." He kissed his fiancee's forehead and embraced her. Sora wrapped her arms around his midsection, as if he would disappear if she let go.
"I love you, Sora. No matter what decision you make. We should get some rest. The ceremony will be later tonight." Sora leaned up and her lips met the cinnamony lips of her fiancee.
"Mo aishiteru, Maru." They pulled back the covers and settled into bed. Sora rested her head on Sesshoumaru's strong chest.
"Sesshoumaru?"
"Yes?"
"Have you ever thought about us having children?"
Sesshoumaru had a small smile. "Yes, I have. Contrary to popular belief, I've wanted to be a father for some time now. Enough questions. Sleep, my princess."

Later That Evening...
"Shimatta!!" Inuyasha slapped his forehead in frustration.
"What's wrong?" Kouga asked. He was laying down next to Inuyasha on a huge area rug, staring at the ceiling.
"I didn't tell mother about us being engaged! Let one about us becoming life partners tonight." Inuyasha stressfully ran his hands through his silky mane.
"Then you should give her a call." Kouga simply stated.
"Oh. It's a good thing I charged my phone before we left. I didn't know if we had electricity or not." Inuyasha got up and headed to where his backpack was. After a few minutes of searching, he found his world phone and called Mifune, his mother.
-CONVERSATION- Y=Inuyasha M=Mifune
M: Nishida residence.
Y: Hello, mother. How are you?
M: Inuyasha! I'm so glad to hear from you. I was beginning to worry. I'm fine. How is everyone else?
Y: Everyone is doing great. Mother, I need to tell you something. And I should have told you this before we left.
M: Is everything alright, hun? I've never heard you sound so serious.
Y: Mother, Kouga and I are engaged.
M: *gasp* That's wonderful news! Congratulations!
Y: There's more. We're having a marital ceremony later on tonight.
M: You mean...you'll be officially married? Oh my...So soon?
Y: Mother, please don't be mad. I am sorry if this is late notice-
M: Musuko, I am not angry. I'm glad you want to settle down with someone who makes you happy. At least I know my son will never be sad. I love you, musuko-chan.
Y: I love you too mother. I've gotta get going. I'll call more often, I promise.
M: You do that. Take care.
-END CONVERSATION-
"Was she mad?" Kouga asked, nuzzling the back of his itoshii's neck.
"No, actually. She was happy that I found someone who makes me happy."
'Do I really make him happy?' Kouga thought as Inuyasha turned from his koishii's embrace and kissed his cheek.
"I agree with her." Kouga tightly embraced Inuyasha. A soft knock was at the door. Kouga went to answer it.
"It's almost time for the ritual to begin. You two gotta be seperated now. Sorry, Kouga-ani." Shishio stood in the doorway, noticing the akward situation.
"Alright." Kouga looked back at perfection personified.
'He's been through so much. Mostly because of me.' Kouga's thoughts are disturbed when Inuyasha suntered over to Kouga and wrapped his arms around his toned waist. Kouga returned his embrace, never wanting to break the hold.
"This is it." Kouga whispered into his lover's delicate ear.
"Yeah. Nervous?" Inuyasha whispered back.
"Just a smidge." Kouga smiled while inhaling the sesame smell of his soon-to-be husband.
'More than you will ever know...' Kouga's smile faded slightly. They let go of one another and slowly walked away from each other. Inuyasha left with Shishio back to their original hut, while Kouga got prepared.
(AN: From here on, is a poem by my friend Sarah in Kouga's POV. It's titled 'His Devotion.')
*blah*: Kouga's actions, not in his POV.
Do I deserve him?
*Kouga removes his white A-shirt while walking over to a dresser. He is still wearing a pair of light brown deerskin pants.*
Oh let me see...
*He opens the top drawer and takes out a brush*
Of course not, he can do so much better then me.
Twice I've killed without a care,
*Kouga sits on the bed and brushed through his long black, sleek strands.*
And even though he knew, he still stood faithfully there.
*Kouga brushes his ends, getting out the last of the knots.*
But does he trully want this?
*Kouga stops midway, realizing his thoughts.*
To be bound to me,
*Kouga's eyes start to water, but not overflow.*
Or would he rather turn and flee?
*He lets one tear slide down his face. He blinked away the others. He knew he could never live without him."
Tonight's the night,
There's no time for regret.
Soon he'll be mine...but still I reflect.
*Kouga goes back to the dresser and places the brush where he got it. He opens the second drawer and pulls out a red headband with two brown feathers.*
Does he trully want me?
*He ties the headband around his head with the feathers resting behind his head. He left his hair loose for the occasion.*
Well I guess now we'll see,
*Kouga then pulls out a deerskin vest that matches his pants. It had colorful beads sewn onto the front. He puts it on and looks at himself in a full length mirror.*
Just how much he trully loves me.....
////////////////////////////////////////////////
As Inuyasha and Shishio were walking back, Shishio noticed that Inuaysha was strangely quiet.
"Ani, is everything okay?"
Inuyasha nods. "Yeah, I'm fine."
'I hate lying to him.' Inuyasha thought.
They reached the hut and was greeted by Sora, Sesshoumaru, and Aoji.
"So, ready for tonight, otouto-chan?" Sora asked. Inuyasha looked at Sora then looked to the side. There was an uncomfortable silence.
"I need to be alone." Before Inuyasha walked to the spare room, Aoji caught his attention.
"There are garments for you to wear for the ceremony. They are located on the table." Inuyasha gave him a nod and disappeared into the room.
"I think he is a bit nervous about this. We should give him some time." Sesshoumaru said, breaking the silence. Shishio looked towards the door his Ani just walked into.
"Ani..."

(AN: This is a poem in Inuyasha's POV also done by my friend Sarah. It is titled 'His Decision.')
*blah* Inuyasha's actions, not in his POV
How can he love me,
*Inuyasha closed the door behind him and leaned against the door*
After what I've been through?
*He saw the clothing on the table and started to walk towards it, tears brimming in his eyes*
Will he leave me with disgust,
*He ran his hands across the blue headband with white feathers that lay folded on the dark brown beaded vest and matching dark brown deerskin pants*
Shining in his eyes of sparkling blue?
*Inuyasha held back choked sobs. He didnt want to bring attention to himself. He romoved his shirt and began getting dressed*
I'm unclean defiled and filled with shame,
*Inuyasha's tears ran down in cascades. He finishied dressing and grabbed a brush from the nightable*
I wonder though will he stay with me all the same?
You could have had anyone you desired yet you chose me,
*He felt a hand holding his wrist. He looked at his older brother, who brushed away the tear trails. He sat Inuyasha down on a small bed and sat behind him. Sesshoumaru brushed his younger brother's thick mane with slow, gentle strokes*
However now after whats happened to me will you turn and forever flee?
*Inuyasha spun around held onto his brother's waist, letting his sobs become absorbed into Sesshoumaru's chest*
Tonight's the night so I guess we'll see If through all this,
* "He won't leave you, otouto-chan. No more tears." Sesshoumaru's comforting words seemed to have an affect on Inuyasha, as his sobs began to subside*
You'll still stay with me.....

When Kouga entered the hut where the ritual will be held, he was in awe. The inside was covered with lillies of the valley, lavenders, and orchids. The room was lit with scented candles and a gold embroidered dark blue rug was in the middle of the room. A small pyre was in the middle of the rug.
"This is amazing." Kouga was still looking around, not noticing there were others in the room.
"Thanks. Shishio helped with the decorating." Sora replied. Kouga saw his family already there, except for Inuyasha.
"So, chamu, you ready?" Sora asked her brother.
"I was always ready." Kouga nodded to his father. Celestine struck a chime, signaling for Inuyasha to step in. Inuyasha stepped through the cloth door covering, and Kouga's breath was caught in his throat. He saw his raven haired bishie and wanted to devour him, no matter who saw.
"Inuyasha..." his name was a breath upon Kouga's lips. The blue headband brought out the amber in Inuyasha's eyes.
'By the gods...it's hard to believe he'll be mine.' Inuyasha thought. It was rare for him to see Kouga's hair loose when not in the shower.
'He should let his hair down more often.' Inuyasha approached his soon-to-be husband and father-in-law by the pyre. Kouga took his hand and looked into his itoshii's golden amber eyes.
"You look beautiful." Kouga whispered. Inuyasha blushed.
"And I'm lucky." Inuyasha whispered back.
"Tonight, we shall join these two kindred spirits under the guidance of our sun-god, Ara." Celestine took a small bowl from Sora and dipped his thumb in the red powdery liquid. He marked the two on their foreheads and on each cheek.
"You both have been marked with the symbols of Ara. Recite your vows while walking around once the pyre in each direction. Once you finished your vows, you will place these rings on the ring finger of your right hands." Celestine pointed to the silver rings, sitting on top of a small pillow held by Shishio, engraved in Kage no Ookami on the outside.
"Kouga, you shall lead your mate around the pyre first. Proceed." Kouga took his lover's hand and did as his father instructed.
(AN: This is another poem by my friend, Sarah. It's titled 'Mated Pair.' These are their vows.)
-Kouga-
Now across all time, you are forever mine,
Safe within my care, apart can never tear,
Our hearts as one under Ara the sun.
We are mated pair.
As Kouga finished his vows, Inuyasha then took Kouga's other hand and lead him the other way around the pyre.
-Inuyasha-
Death can never pull us apart.
No matter how it tries, it just can't break the bonds
That binds our hearts.
Forever as one, we stand under the same sun.
We, the mated pair.
Inuyasha and Kouga came in front of Shishio and they each took one ring and placed it on the others right ring finger. While they did this, the recited the last line of their vows:
-Together-
We are mated pair.
"With the power of Ara, I claim thee mated." Kouga and Inuyasha smiled at each other before closing the gap and claiming each other's lips in a passionate kiss. When they broke apart, they nuzzled each other's noses.
"You're stuck with me." Kouga said jokingly; tears sliding down his face.
"I wouldn't have it any other way." Inuyasha had tear stains on his face. Kouga kissed them and captured his lovers lips once again.
'Way to go, Ani.' Shishio smiled. He then felt the strong arms of Aoji encircling his waist. He looked into the warm piercing blue eyes of his new lover. He then settled back into Aoji's embrace.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
As part of the ritual, the newlyweds are required to make garlands for the family and themselves out of the flowers scattered about the room. As Kouga put on the finishing touches on Inuyasha's ankle garland, Sora made an announcement.
"I don't mean to steal your spotlight, but I believe this is an appropriate time to say this. Sesshoumaru and I have decided to have our marital ceremony...tomorrow."
"Tomorrow?! That's...sudden." Inuyasha responded.
"We didn't want to wait. I love Sora, and to wait another day would be excruciatingly painful." Sesshoumaru stepped up to Sora and cupped her face. "To be married to her, with haste, would be an honor." Sesshoumaru smiled a rare smile. Sora placed her hand over the one on her face.
"I don't want to wait another day. I want to be as happy as my brother and his husband are." Sora looked toward Kouga who had Inuyasha on his lap on the floor.
"We have no doubt that you'll both be happy. Ara always had you in favor, and he will see to your happiness."
Sesshoumaru and Sora shared a spine-tingling kiss.
'I hope that I can be as happy with Aoji...now that he knows about what that monster did to me...' Shishio thought.
Aoji sensed his lover's emotions and lead him outside through a back door.
"What brings such a solemn face during such happy times?" Aoji asked. Shishio look down at his feet nervously. Aoji studied his lovers habits, and knew his crimson-eyed mated was uneasy.
"Aoji, w-would you...will you...d-do you-" Aoji cut off Shishio's sentence with a soul-shattering kiss. Aoji brought on of his hands behind Shishio's head and the other around his lower back to deepen the kiss. Both were catching their breaths when they parted.
"I love you, Shishio Naraku. In Ara's name, my mind, body and soul belongs to you. Your past means nothing to me. Only our future holds meaning." Aoji's eyes were shining with an emotion only Shishio could define.
"A-and I love you, Aoji Kuma. My physical, mental, and spiritual being are yours. I won't let my past effect my future with you." Shishio's last words were a mere whisper, but Aoji heard every word with his well-trained ears. Shishio leaned up and continued were their kiss left off.

"A-and I love you, Aoji Kuma. My physical, mental, and spiritual being are yours. I won't let my past effect my future with you." Shishio's last words were a mere whisper, but Aoji heard every word with his well-trained ears. Shishio leaned up and continued were their kiss left off.
