Kyoko was awoke from her sleep when she heard a scratching noise on her window. She looked at the window and saw that it was Kirara. Kirara meowed when she saw her new master looking at her. Kyoko jumped out of bed and went to open the window. The cat demon leaped from the window and onto the bed. She turned around a few times and went to sleep. Kyoko chuckled.

 

The girl stretched her arms and while she was doing that, her shoulders cracked. She let out a deep sigh, that crack felt good. She twisted her torso to get rid of the kink that formed in her lower back. Kyoko let out another sigh and went to her closet to get dressed.

 

She looked around. She decided to wear pink pants with a pink tank top. She wore her favorite white flip-flops. Then, she did her hygiene ritual. She decided to have her hair down and wore no make-up. She went back to her bedroom and saw that Kirara was awake.

 

“So, what brings you here Kirara? I never saw you in the future, I guess you are here about that evil, huh?” said Kyoko. Kirara just meowed in reply. Kyoko petted her head.

 

“Now, how am I going to tell my father and brother about you? It's not every day that they see a two tailed cat!” said Kyoko. She started to bite on her thumb, thinking what excuse she can give her family.

 

“How about, that you are a rare type of cat that is near extinction?” she asked the cat. Kirara mewed and rubber her head on her master's arm. The girl giggled and guessed that the cat demon agreed.

 

While the girl looked at Kirara, she could feel in her heart how much Kagome and her comrades appreciated her. She also felt a strange connection from the cat demon. She closed her eyes and she saw her with Midoriko, battling the demons.

 

She opened her eyes and couldn't believe what she saw. Midoriko was Kirara's first master. She can only imagine how old the cat demon is. Kirara just looked at her and nodded her head once. The demon knew what the girl saw. What Kyoko really needed to know was that she is also the reincarnation of the powerful priestess warrior. Well, she has a part of Midoriko's soul.

 

Kirara looked at the girl. She knew who the evil is, but the question is, will she fight her brother, the reincarnation of Naraku? This girl has no idea what will happen soon. This fight will be larger than any other that has happened in history or future if you want to count when Kagome was evil. That is why she is here, to help Kyoko battle as she has helped Sango's comrades when they were fighting Naraku in the Feudal Era and when she helped Midoriko fight the seven day and night battle.

“So tell me Miroku, why did the kamis place Kyoko and Jiro as brother and sister?” asked Sango.

 

“Well, that is easy to answer Sango. They placed them together so the good can always check on the evil. Also, it will be easier for Kyoko to notice the evil than she going around the world trying to find him,” he answered.

 

Sango had a confusing look on her face and asked, “How did they know that this will happen?”

 

He replied, “That is the question that even I cannot answer. The gods have their ways of knowing what will happen. It is not even we and the humans to know what they, the kamis, know.”

 

Sango looked a little hurt, but she cannot defy the power that is higher than them. So, she looked on and watched on. She was sort of cursing in her mind that she can't help this girl, that she was alone fighting this battle. The only comfort she was feeling was that Kirara was with her.
