It was the day. Kyoko felt it in her bones and spirit and so did Kirara. The cat demon kept pacing around the room since she was itching to get it over with.

Kyoko went to her closet and put on the red, leather pants, the white shirt, and the sandals. She went to her bathroom and put hair in a miko-style ponytail. She walked out and went to her full-body mirror. Kyoko looked like a miko from the past, but more modernized.

“Are you ready Kirara?” she asked her companion and the cat demon nodded its head. They walked down the stairs and out the door.

“Let's go see Kaede first. I have a feeling that we are to go there,” she said. Kirara turned into her big form and the girl climbed on top. As soon she was on her, the demon took off.

A few minutes later, they arrived. Kyoko jumped off and started walking. As soon she was inside the building, a figure immediately appeared in front of her.

“It is time,” said Kaede.

“Yeah, I know,” muttered Kyoko.

Kaede raised an eyebrow. “Getting cocky are we?”

“No, I mean, why do you think I am here? I can feel it and so does Kirara. Plus, I had a feeling to come here,” replied Kyoko.

The spirit sighed and turned around. She floated to a table and came back. “These are the bow and arrows that will help you defeat Naraku. You must remember the training and the memories of your previous lives. They will be most helpful. Also, you have alliances, even though you can't see them,” said Kaede as she slowly vanished away.

Kyoko blinked a few times at where Kaede once was. “Talk about déjà vu,” she grumbled. She turned around and went back outside into the crisp air.

Once again, she climbed on top of Kirara and they went to Tokyo Park. Since she was getting a little bit bored, she talked to her pal. “Know what Kirara? This is déjà vu in a way. I get these dreams and they come true. The question is: why didn't I get them when I was older, before I came back here? Don't ask, it might be too complicated for you to understand. Please don't be offended! Oh, that's the spot, right there!”

Kirara went to the spot where her human friend was pointing. She softly landed and Kyoko jumped off. She slightly felt a bitter shiver going down her spine. She knew that he was nearby, her brother Jiro or Naraku reborn. Almost like she was Kikyo and Kagome reborn. Talk about never-ending cycles of rebirth (for her at least)!

Kyoko stared at the cherry blossom tree. Many memories invaded her mind, good and bad. It's amazing how one tree can save so many memories, like the God Tree at the Higurashi Shrine.

She laid a hand on the tree and closed her eyes. She felt a swift of warmth overflow through her. Although it was instantly it was taken away and was replaced with iciness. Her eyes flew open and she knew why that happened. Her brother was here.

Kyoko turned around and faced him. He was heavily cloaked with a hood over his head. Kyoko's eyes narrowed. Her fists clenched. Her heart started beat faster and faster and a small drip of sweat went down the side of her face. Reality started to hit her hard. This day will be the day she will murder her brother in order to save the world.

“Hello little sister, so nice to meet you here,” Jiro said, not lifting his head.

“I bet you are,” replied Kyoko, being careful to make sure her voice wouldn't quiver.

Jiro chuckled. “Well, it's just you and me. No one will be here to save your skinny, miko ass, unlike what happened in yours and mine former life. There will be no InuYasha, Sango, Miroku, or Shippo-”

“You forget that Kirara is here!” Kyoko cut him off.

Jiro raised an eyebrow at the ferocious cat demon that was standing by her side.

“Yeah, like that cat demon can protect you!” he shouted as he threw off his cloak.

Jiro's body was of a spider, just like when he was fighting back in the Feudal Era against InuYasha and his friends. The only body part that wasn't spider was his head.

Kyoko looked up, fear started to rise in her. She exhaled slowly and inhaled slowly. She must relax or she will get killed. Her eyes went to her brother's head. He was slowly turning into Naraku. The only thing that wasn't affected by the steady transformation were his eyes.

`This is going to be hard as fuck,' she thought. She jumped onto Kirara before she got hit by one of his many legs. She grabbed her bow that was over a shoulder and an arrow that was in a sling.

She notched the arrow and kept chanting in her head to concentrate. Her powers were going through the arrow to the tip. She closed an eye and made sure that the arrow would go to its target. She released the arrow and it went zoomed to Jiro's body.

`Please hit,' she prayed. And it did, to one of his legs. Jiro cried as one of his legs disintegrated.

“How can you hurt your own brother?” he cried as he stumbled and tried to regain his balance.

Kyoko's eyes squeezed shut and turned her head away. This indeed will be a hard battle.

All of a sudden, she was blasted off of Kirara and she started to fall. Before the cat demon could catch her, Naraku's poisonous insects attacked her.

And Kyoko was falling…falling…falling….

“Please let this be another dream,” she whispered.
