A tall male walked out of a building. The cool, autumn breeze was whipping around his black hair. His violet eyes were looking around the modern technology. `I have seen many things in my life, but this is the most extreme,' he thought. He started walking down the street, watching cars that are being run by computers and children riding hubberboards to school.

He met his three friends at a coffee shop. They did this once a week to catch up on old times and what was going on in their lives. `I miss those old times. If only I could turn back time,' he thought.

He arrived at the coffee shop and the doors automatically opened. His eyes scanned the area and found his friends at a table by a window. He strode over and smiled in greeting. His friends smiled back and greeted him.

“Hey, how you're doing?” asked a girl. She had long black hair that was pulled back. She had on a pink sweatshirt and long black pants. “I'm doing fine Sango, and yourself?” replied the man. “Oh, I'm fine,” Sango, answered and glared at the man next to her. The man pulled his attention towards a man with silk, button up shirt and black denim jeans. “Is your wife treating you badly Miroku?” he teased. Miroku looked up and smiled, “Ah, no. Not at all.” The man laughed and looked at the boy with red hair that was pulled back with a green ribbon. He had on a green shirt and blue denim jeans. “Hey you little runt!” shouted the man. Shippo looked up and was greeted with a thump on the head. “I'm not a runt anymore InuYasha,” he growled and rubbed his new lump.

InuYasha sat next to Shippo and sighed. “I know, but that doesn't change anything. You're still that young orphan I met. Oh, how things have changed,” InuYasha sighed. Everyone at the table had sad expressions.

“I wonder where Kagome is,” Sango thought at loud,. Miroku looked at Sango and replied, “Kaede told us that she would be reincarnated into a person. It could either be a girl or boy…” “It better be a fucking girl!” screamed InuYasha. Everyone looked at InuYasha and his three friends blushed and apologized.

“It better be a girl,” InuYasha repeated himself, but in a low tone. “I think it will be a girl. I don't think that the kamis would do that to her or us,” Shippo said. Everyone agreed. Kagome was too special to be reincarnated into a boy. Also, she loved InuYasha and him her.

Those poor two have been through so much. It amazed the three that InuYasha came through the loss so well. They weren't angry with him that much anymore. They still blamed themselves for not being there to help her, but they were at a village to get rid of a youkai. That damned day changed their lives horribly.

But, Kaede told them they she will be reincarnated in the far future. Sango and Miroku asked her if there was a way to become immortal so they can see her and there was. They needed a butterfly youkai's dust and blood of a swan youkai. They did get those and they had to drink the blood with the dust in it.

When the four were in Kagome's time, when she was still alive, they had to keep far away from her so they wouldn't change the time. Time. It's always so confusing to deal with.

“I don't think it's too far away,” Miroku announced. Sango looked at her husband with a quizzical look on her face. “What do you mean?” she asked. “I mean that it is not too far away to meet Kagome's reincarnation,” he answered.

Sango and Shippo's face started to lighten up. “But, how do you know that?” Shippo asked. Miroku answered, “It's been long enough for us to wait, especially for Kagome. She needs to be released.”

`Soon Kagome, we will be together again, forever,' InuYasha thought as he looked out the window while his friends were talking to each other.

But, none of them realized that Kagome's reincarnation already knew about her past, but will they ever find each other?
