Kyoko woke up from a nightmare. Sweat beads poured down her face. She started to cry.

 

>Kyoko was walking in the park. All of a sudden, she felt a hand on her wrist. She turned around and aw red eyes looking down at her blue eyes. “InuYasha?” she whispered.

 

His claws pierced into her wrist and Kyoko started to whimper. What has gone into him? “InuYasha, what's wrong?” Kyoko started to get scared. She has never been confronted by an angry hanyou, or youkai.

 

“Kagome, give me Kagome. Mate…mate…die wench!”

 

Kyoko screamed and twisted herself out of InuYasha's grasp. She started to run as fast as her legs could go. She ignored the burn in her lungs and the ache in her legs. She wanted to live. She wanted to see the next day, not die in the park by a youkai.

 

~You will live long. You will die and I will live again! This is the true nature of my lover.~

 

All of a sudden, she ran into something hard. When she looked up, she saw Miroku. Next to him was Sango and next to her was Shippo. Sango was holding her boomerang and looked at Shippo.

 

“Shippo, take Kyoko somewhere far away from here,” she ordered. Shippo nodded and grabbed Kyoko by the waist and hoisted her on his back.

 

When she looked back, she saw Sango and Miroku fighting InuYasha. Tears started to go down her face. She knew that she would see them again.

 

When Shippo stopped, Kyoko didn't know where they were. “What's going on Shippo? What's wrong with InuYasha?”

 

Shippo looked at her and said, “I don't know what's going on. All I know that is InuYasha is obviously not in his right mind.”

 

Kyoko started to cry. Shippo walked over o her and hugged her. “Everything is going to be all right, I promise.”

 

“I don't want this to happen. I wish I was never born with this curse!” she shouted.

 

“What curse? This is not a curse. You should be happy, a little, that you experience something that people think that are only in fairy tales.”

 

Kyoko looked at Shippo teary eyed. Then, she did something that she didn't expect herself to do. She kissed him.

As soon they pulled away, they heard a growl. She turned around and saw InuYasha. He tossed the tortured and bloody, dead bodies of Miroku and Sango. Kyoko screamed; Kagome laughed.

 

Shippo shoved Kyoko aside. “You will not harm her InuYasha!”

 

“Mate…Kagome…kill!”

 

~Yes, InuYasha, Yes!~

 

Kyoko couldn't tear her eyes from the battle that was in front of her. To her it seemed hours, but it was only minutes. Shippo and InuYasha were equally matched. But, Shippo was more exhausted than InuYasha.

 

`Shippo can't win. He's going to die,' she whimpered.

 

Shippo saw that Kyoko was still there. “Run, Kyoko, run!”

 

Kyoko nodded her head and ran. She ran as fast as the wind and quick as light.

 

It wasn't too long when she could feel something that was wrong. She looked back and saw InuYasha close behind her. `Shippo,' Kyoko cried. Everyone was killed because of her.

 

Kyoko bumped into something hard. She looked up and met the same red eyes that she knew too well.

 

~This is it reincarnation.~

 

InuYasha started to growl. Kyoko started to back away. Kyoko was never scared in her life, ever.

 

“Kagome…mate…kill!”
