Kagome looked all over the city, looking for InuYasha. She could feel Kyoko's battle within their mind, wanting to get it back. Kagome used her Miko power to locate her hanyou lover. After an hour, she finally felt a tug. “InuYasha!” she exclaimed with a smile.

 

She started a sprint to catch up to the hanyou. When she finally did, her smile grew bigger. “InuYasha!” she shouted. He turned around and saw Kyoko's body standing, with a smile that could melt anyone's heart of ice.

 

“It's Kagome,” she said as she walked towards him. When she was in front of him, she caressed his cheek and tugged a lock of his black hair. Kagome then stood on the tips of her toes and kissed him. InuYasha wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her deeper.

 

~~Oh hell no. Stop!~~

~Shut up wench. Soon, you will cease existence and I will live again!~

 

Kyoko widened her eyes. A spirit will not murder her. What can she do?

 

When they pulled apart for air, they smiled at each other. They waited a long time for that. They held hands and walked down the street. “I was going to meet Shippo at a coffee shop. Would you like to join?” offered InuYasha. Kagome replied by shaking her head.

 

Kagome and InuYasha arrived at the shop and saw Shippo sitting at the usual table. Shippo saw Kagome and his eyes glowered. `That is not my Momma,' he thought. But, he smiled and motioned them over.

 

“How are you doing Shippo?” Kagome chirped.

 

“I'm well…and you?”

 

“Oh, the same. I'm just glad that I was looking for InuYasha or I would have missed this!”

 

In Shippo's mind, he rolled his eyes. `What happened to you Kagome?' he asked in his mind.

 

The three talked to each other about old times. It lasted for three hours, until they were told that they were about to close, and they needed to leave. Shippo waved good-bye and InuYasha walked Kagome home.

 

InuYasha stopped alongside Kagome at the bottom of the stairs. Kagome leaned up and kissed him full on the lips. “I love you InuYasha.”

“I love you too Kagome.”

 

She gave him one last kiss and ran up the stairs, into the house, and into her room. She closed the door and leaned against it. She was breathing hard since her heart was beating fast.

 

~~How romantic. Can I have it back now?~~

~Shut up wench. Fine.~

 

Kyoko finally had her mind back. She crossed her lips with her fingers and made a disgusted look.
