Stand Inside Your Love

Chapter 3

Everything was quiet. The gang was still trying to process what had just happened.

"Whoa, Inuyasha. You just killed your own flesh and blood," said Shippo.

"I know that! And he isn't my flesh and blood! Anyway, he deserved it, that bastard of a demon!" Inuyasha winced in pain. Kagome came over to check his wounds.

"Here, Inuyasha, let me help you," said Kagome as she took out gauze from her backpack. Inuyasha refused. He pulled away.

"Kagome, what's with you and Sesshomaru? Were you thinking of leaving us, betraying us and going to him, instead?!" asked Inuyasha angrily.

"No," said Kagome quietly.

"Then why do you reek of Sesshomaru?"

"I don't like him, and I never did! Hopefully, you knew that by now!" Kagome yelled, hoping for Inuyasha to look into her eyes and realize what he just said. Inuyasha winced in pain again. It was dark. There were no clouds in the sky and then Kagome realized what day it was.

`Tonight is Inuyasha's night of vulnerability!' she thought. Inuyasha turned into a human. The wounds that he had with him when he was a hanyou remained with him when he transformed. Inuyasha collapsed. His wounds were still bleeding. Kagome and the other three rushed to his side.

"You guys, we have to go back to Kaede. If not, Inuyasha is just gonna bleed to death!" pleaded Kagome, her eyes stinging with tears.

"Kilala!" Sango called. The Gang carefully put Inuyasha on Kilala's back and they quickly went to Kaede's.

`Inuyasha, I hope you'll be ok,' thought Kagome as tears left her eyes.

A/N: This fanfic is gonna get better. There might be a part that you'll object to, later on. Oh, and every once in a while, I'll put up reviews that my friends gave me when I let them read my fic. * looks through reviews * OK, scratch that idea.
