SORRY FOR THE LONG ASS UPDATE!!!!!!!! I had school work to do and that other crap! this was a long awaited(or so i think) chapter!
A/N: im not a very good writer but I write to let my anger out... and because i.. like writing? if my story sucks then dont review saying " ewww what the fuck was that??" or "STOP WRITING" ... cause then I WILL SLIT UR THROATS! o_o... sorry got carried away there O_O. but anyways, reviews are always welcome ... they encourage me to write. xD ;;


Chapter 9: The Chance

Kagome woke up and smiled. Today was the day to get closer to Inuyasha at school (A/N: okay it sounds kinda gay, sorry =. She liked that he had EVERY class with her. God must really love her. She did her usual and took a shower. She let her hair air dry, while she picked out her clothes.

"Hmm." She picked out a white collered shirt and a denim skirt; the ones she got from Hollister & Co.(a/n: shes not a prep..and im not either xD..i just like the clothes they make!) She decided to put on leggings incase any perverts tried to look up her short skirt. (A/N: that 'pervert' is obviously miroku :P) She put her clothes on and went downstairs for breakfast.

"Good morning, sweety." Her father greeted her with a warm hug. Kagome knew he was already dressed for work, cause she saw his suit under the apron he was wearing.

"Good morning, daddy." She smiled. "The pancakes look AND smell so good!" She smiled, taking a bite.

"Of course, they're MY pancakes." Her dad said proudly.

After she was done, she hugged her dad to leave for school.

"Have a nice day at school." He got his newspaper and sat down. "Wait, Kagome. I'm not going to come back until tomorrow, so maybe you can hang around Sango's place. I don't really think it's safe for you to be here by yourself."

"Okay, I'll tell Sango." She said.

"Bye honey."

"Bye Dad! And Be safe." She waved and headed out.

It was already 7:40am and the Taisho brothers were still getting ready for school. "Sesshoumaru!! WHERE ARE MY FUCKING PANTS?" Inuyasha yelled from his room.

"LOOK FOR IT IN YOUR DAMN ROOM!" He yelled back.

Inuyasha murmered curses and just put on any old jeans and white wifebeater. He also put on a red collered shirt, without buttoning them. Then he scrambled downstairs and stuffed his toast into his mouth and drank his orange juice.

"If you hadn't talk to Rin on the phone for 2 hours, maybe we would've been outta here." He said.

Sesshoumaru narrowed his eyes. "Atleast I HAVE a girlfriend! Damn brother of mine which I really fucking care alot for." He blabbled.

He just brushed him off and drove off in his mercedes. (A/N: he has more than 1 car! lucky inu > _ > )

Kagome got to the school and saw Sango there with Miroku. Sango was wearing black baggy pants with a white tanktop shirt that said "My boyfriend is 100% Perverted" in BIG pink letters. Miroku on the other hand, was wearing black jeans with a Taking Back Sunday T-shirt. (A/N: tbs is a rock band)

"Sangieeeee!!!" Kagome yelled and hugged her friend.

"Kaggieeee!" Sango giggled and practically pounced on her.

"Nice shirt, Sango. But I think everyone already knows that Miroku is a pervert." She said and couldn't help but giggle.

"Ahem." Miroku cleared his throat.

Kagome whisked around. "Oh I forgot! Good morning pervert." She said and hugged him.

He sweatdropped. "Good morning to you too, Kagome." He said and couldn't help, but touch her ass.

"Ahhhh! PERVERT!" Kagome yelled and hit him with her bag. Everyone circled around them, enjoying the sight of a girl in a skirt beating the life out of the guy.

"Ow! WHAT'S IN THAT BAG?" He yelled, trying to block the hits.

"3 textbooks!" Sango said, as she joined in on the hitting of Miroku.

"Getting hit by the girls again, Miroku?" Said a voice. They all stopped to find Inuyasha grinning at them.

"Inu!! Just in time to watch Miroku get beat to death." Sango said and hugged him.

"Keh. Looks like I saved his ass." He said, nodding to Miroku. Miroku just chuckled nervously.

"Good morning, Inuyasha!" Kagome greeted him with a BIG smile on her face.

"Oh... Hey..." He said quickly and headed inside the classroom.

Kagome just stood there. 'What the....that was weird'

Sango looked at her friend. "Um, Kagome, we should get to homeroom." She suggested.

"Yeah.. okay."

It was about 8:20. The teacher came in and took the attendence. "Everyone, get ready for your 1st period class! You guys have 7minutes." He said and headed out.

"This sucks! I have chemistry!" Kagome dulled.

"I have literature! Do you even know how much I HATE poems and that crap??" She sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Keh, you girls whine too much." He said and continued staring at Kagome.

Kagome could feel his eyes on her, but didn't dare to move or look at him. She could see him through the corners of her eyes. Sango saw this and shook her head.

"What the hell?" She said and got their attention.

"What?" They said in unison.

Sango just shook her head. "Nothing, let's get to class."

They were all coming out of their classes, heading towards lunch.

"Ugh, AP math sucked, didn't it guys?" Sango said, taking out her lunch.

"No duh! Who the HELL likes math??" Kagome said, looking at her 50 that she got on her test. 'FUCKING MATH. '

The 4 of them found a nice table outside, under the tree. The wind was blowing nicely and it felt cool outside. "YES! We got the better table."

Kagome smile and stuffed a dumpling into her mouth. Inuyasha didn't have anything to eat so he just looked away. Kagome smiled to herself "Heres my chance." She gave Inuyasha a dumpling. "Eat up, Inuyasha." She smiled.

"No thanks." He said.

"Oh, um... but, you don't have anything to eat." She said, slightly taken back.

"I ain't hungry." He snapped at her. She looked crushed, but managed to put on a smile.

"Then have half of my sandwich! Damnit Inuyasha." Sango said, literally shoving it in his face.

He let out a low growl and took it. "Thank you so-fucking much." Sango just cocked an eyebrow and bit into her sandwich.

After they finished eating, Sango and Miroku left, because Sango wanted Kagome to talk to Inuyasha more. She suspected that something was wrong between them.

Kagome and Inuyasha were alone on the table outside of school. It was quiet until Kagome broke the silence. "Um, Inuyasha... what's wrong?" She asked him.

"Nothing." He said simply.

"Inuyasha...."

"......."

"Inu...."

"Inu-"

She got cut off by Inuyasha. "What the fuck is it? Can't you see that I'm not in the mood to talking to you now? Do you THINK I want to be with you here, talking about crap?" He stood up. "Damn Kagome, you're fucking annoying." He huffed.

She gasped and her eyes widened, with tears. Her legs felt like jello. Inuyasha smelled her tears and sighed, he felt even shittier when he saw her face.

"Kags..I-"

"NO. I don't want to hear it, you jerk. Fine, I see what you're saying. You can be a fucking jerk for all I CARE. YOU ARE JUST LIKE THE OTHER GUYS IN THIS GOD DAMNED WORLD!" She yelled.

"NO I'm-"

"SAVE IT YOU BASTARD!! I get it now... you think I'm so annoying and I should get the fuck away from you? If that's what you want... your wish will be granted." Tears streamed down her face and she wiped them off. He felt shitty. Shittier than the time he got cheated on by the whore.

"Kags, I'm sor-"

"SHUTUP!! AND YOU'RE SORRY? YOU THINK A SIMPLE SORRY WILL CHANGE MY MIND ABOUT YOU?! DON'T TALK TO ME! EVER!!" She cried and ran off to the girl's bathroom. A group of people, which happened to know Kagome started to whisper to one another. Somethings like 'Who would do such things to Kagome?' went around as people looked at Inuyasha.

"What the fuck are you guys looking at." He said, baring his fang and walked into class, avoiding Miroku that was in the group of whisperers.

A pair of icy blue eyes watched Inuyasha walk by. "Inuyasha, you make my job easier..."

"Kagome? Hun?" Sango called Kagome in the bathroom. But all she got back were sniffling sounds and tissues being torn off. "Kags, please come out and talk to me."

Kagome didn't feel like doing anything. She felt so mad and broken inside. Kagome knew Sango had a short temper so she decided to talk to her.

"I want to be alone Sango..." She said, her voice was weak.

Sango sighed and decided that leaving Kagome alone was the best thing to do at the moment. "Okay then... you come out when you're ready."

Kagome heard the door close and shut. "Finally..." Her eyes then welled up with tears. "Inuyasha..." She whispered. Kagome couldn't stand to be in a classroom with Inuyasha, so she got her cell and text messaged Sango.
She texted her saying: goin 2 ur house and tell the teacher i was sick or somethin. bye luv ya

Sango's cell vibrated and she jumped. She took it out and looked at her message. 'Kagome... you dunce.'

Inuyasha caught sight of Sango and her cell. He was able to read it because he was practically sitting right next to her.

The teacher was taking the attendance. "Kagome Higurashi?"

"Ms.Kobe, She went home, because she was feeling sick." Sango said politely.

"Ah, Thank you Sango."

As the class went by, Inuyasha's eyes shifted to the chair in front of him. He wasn't used to it being empty. He remembered how Kagome would make a cute expression on her face and look at him, just so he'd smile when he was bored. He also remembered how she'd do all sorts of funny stuff so they'd laugh and get into detention for it. He didn't want to admit... but he missed her. He couldn't stand NOT to be with her for an hour. It was too much for him. He felt like an idiotic asshole, when he avoided Kagome, thinking that it would be the best for them. He was only thinking about himself and not others. He just sighed and fell asleep. For now, he didn't give a rat's ass if he got into trouble...

Kagome got her things and walked home. She was thinking about what happened at the lunch table. 'God I hate you...' As Kagome was walking... someone was following her. She was too caught up to care what happens to her. As long as she didn't see Inuyasha, she was fine.

She finally arrived at Sango's house and thanked God she still had Sango's spare key. Or she would've been out there crying like an idiot. The house smelled like... well.. Sango and food. 'Jeez, And I thought I was dirty...'

"I should take a shower. I smell like crap." She scrunched her nose. She picked out comfortable sweats and a white tanktop to change into. She headed to the bathroom and turned on the water.

While she was waiting for the water to turn warm, the bell rang. "Who the hell is that?" She said. She was pissed, because she smelled like crap and she felt dirty. (A/n: i know how she feels! ;[.. ppl HOG the fucking shower at my house. Can't STAND being dirty) She opened the door and no body was there, except a bouquet and a card. She picked it up and closed the door. "Is this for Sango?" The card to the floor and she read it. "To Kagome" Her eyes widened. "Who couldn've sent me these..." She read the rest of the card.

It's Kouga. I KNOW you hate me but I couldn't stop thinking about you.
I saw the fight between that dog and you. I got so mad...how could he
say those things to you! Well anyways beautiful, I just sent these to tell
you how much...I want to get back with you. I know I'm a bastard. I admit
it. AND I've taken what you said to thought. You're right and I'm wrong.
What I did was wrong. But I imagined that it was you. You're the most beautiful
woman I've EVER seen.Baby, please call me. I can't stand to watch you suffer
like this. I luv you.Always and Forever.


She felt like crying. She knew it was all bullshit but she needed someone right now. Plus, Kouga was the only one she EVER loved anyways. He was always nice to her and always worried about her. He also said he's protect her from anything. That was the kind of guy Kagome was looking for. She decided that she'll give Kouga another shot. After all.. what has she got to lose?

She went to the bathroom and took her shower. After she was done, she looked at the clock. "Only 2:00" She knew Kouga was in school, but she wanted to call him. She decided to call.

Kouga just got to the classroom from his long 'BATHROOM BREAK'. Then his cell rang. He looked at the screen and smiled. Then he grinned... Inuyasha was also there. It was his chance NOW. "OH HEY KAGOME!" He sais out loud so Inuyasha can hear him.

Inuyasha turned his head to Kouga and glared at him. 'what the fuck?!'

"Hey babe. how are you?" Kouga smiled evily at Inuyasha. "Sure.. I'll be there...now." Kouga grinned even more. He didn't give a rat's ass about school. He hung up the phone and got up, ready to go.

"Yo wolf!" Inuyasha called him.

"What you mangy mutt! I'm busy here."

He ignored him. "Was that Kagome?"

"Heh, who else would it have been?" He smirked and left.

'Why would she call him...?' Inuyasha shook his head and banged his fist into the wall. He would follow Kouga, but he was afraid he's done too much to her.

Kagome changed into Sango's light pink sundress. She also decided to wear the leggings she found. She looked through her purse to find her eyeliner, but all she found was her wallet, cell, gum, and other necessities. She opened up her wallet to see how much money she had. "Hmm... I got enough for today." Then she saw it. The picture. It was a picture of Kouga and her. She missed those days so much! Her heart was pounding with need. She actually loved Kouga, but Inuyasha was infatuation. 'Do I still.. love... Kouga..?...' She thought to herself. She felt depressed when she thought about him. Kagome also felt hurt when she yelled at Kouga. Her heart was pounding like hell. She could hear the thumps herself. 'i do.....'

The bell rang and Kagome knew who it was. "I'm coming!" The opened the door and her eyes widened. She was shocked.

"Y-you..." She covered her mouth with her hand
