Inu: Now we are talking (rolls up his sleeves) I'm gonna kick Naraku's ass!

Goku's L: Hey don't forget your allies.

Inu: I don't need them! I can handle it myself.

Goku's L: Sure you can… anyways enjoy!

Battle at Naraku's Castle Part 2

Jaken was walking through the forest without realizing that Sesshoumaru had stopped.

"Lord Sesshoumaru what's wrong?" the small toad asked.

"Inuyasha is near by," he said. "Jaken. I want you stay here with Rin." He started walking away.

"But my lord-" Jaken took a few steps towards him.

Sesshoumaru stopped and looked back. "Who is going to protect Rin while I'm gone?"

"Yes my lord as you wish," he said while bowing to him.

Rin looked at her lord confusingly. "Lord Sesshoumaru?"

"I'll return to you Rin," he said. "Don't worry."

She simply smiled and started picking flowers for her guardian. Jaken watched Sesshoumaru with a worried face as he flew towards where Inuyasha was.

"Hurry Inuyasha!" said Kikyo. Her souls were almost fully one from her body.

Inuyasha looked back at her and then at the hole where Kagome was. 'Kuso! Kagome might be in danger. I can't leave her to die.' He then remembered all those times where he saved her life and the arguments they had. Memories of Kagome started to appear in his head.

'Kagome…' He remembered the time when they were at the well. The time where she saw him hugging Kikyo. Her expression was sad yet calm. 'She told me that no matter what my decision was, she would always be by my side,' he thought. His eyes widened at the reality. He remembered what she told Kikyo a few moments ago.

Kagome was struggling to hold on to the edge. She looked down and saw no end to the hole. She tried to pull herself up but her strength was drained out of her. She thought that Inuyasha would've rescued her by now. She was wrong.

'He's not going to save me,' she thought as tears appeared in her eyes. 'It's because I hurt Kikyo. He will always love her no matter how much I try to win over her.' One of her hands slipped and she yelped. There was no place for her to grab a hold of. Feeling herself slip away she lowered her head. 'Inuyasha. . . I guess this is goodbye.'

Right when her hand lost its grasp a strong hand grabbed her wrist. She looked up to see who it was.

"Hold on Kagome," Inuyasha said as he struggled to pull her up.

"Inuyasha…" she said barely in a whisper. "You weren't going to let me go."

"I see it clearly now," said Kikyo. "Goodbye Inuyasha." Her last soul was taken and before she disincarnated there was an almost soft smirk coming from her lips.

Inuyasha pulled Kagome into his arms and held her tightly. "Did Naraku touch you?" he said angrily, trying to look at her face. "Of course he did! I can smell him all over you. Don't tell me he-" The thought made him want to kill him even greater.

"H-He couldn't because Kikyo came," she said, her voice almost breaking. She couldn't take it anymore.

"Oh Inuyasha," she cried, wrapping her arms around him. Tears were coming down her cheeks and it was dampening his sleeve. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to… I-I just didn't want you die." Her crying clamed down a bit and she slowly pulled away from him. "I'll understand if you hate me." She lowered her head in shame.

He gently placed his chin on top of her head. "I will never hate you," he said softly. "I'm the one who should be sorry. Please forgive me Kagome. For not realizing it sooner."

Suddenly Miroku and the others ran to where they were. They spotted the two on the ground embracing each other. He looked at Sango who was smiling back at him, he smiled back.

Shippo ran towards them and jumped on Kagome. "Kagome!" He began to cry. "I was so worried that you were hurt or even worse."

Kagome smiled down at him and hugged him back. "I'm fine Shippo. Everything's alright."

"Where's Naraku?" Miroku asked Inuyasha.

"He disappeared when I got here," he told him. Then his nose started up.

"What is it?" said Sango.

He growled and clenched his fists. "He's coming back!" He looked up to the sky and saw as small youkais came down with an ape palette flying in-between them.

Everyone grabbed a hold of their weapons and glared up at Naraku. Inuyasha stepped in front of Kagome to protect her.

"Everyone is here," said Naraku as he lowered himself down to the ground. "Easier for me to kill you all."

"You bastard!" yelled Inuyasha as he ran towards him. "You're the one who is going to die!" He used his claws to slash him in half.

Naraku smiled and jumped back form the attack. His tentacles spread from underneath him and grabbed Inuyasha by the throat. "Die you worthless hanyou."

Sango threw her weapon and it sliced right through the tentacle. Inuyasha was able to free himself and stood back.

"Damn it," he cursed. "He's fast the asshole." Then his nose started up again. His ear twitched and he looked to the side. Sesshoumaru came flying down. "Great," he growled. "Now I have to deal with him too."

Just as Sesshoumaru settled on the ground Inuyasha glared at him and growled. "What the fuck do you want?!"

He looked calmly at his younger brother and then at Naraku. "I came to take revenge," he said.

"So you're here to kill Naraku too?" Kagome asked.

"Yes."

"Not if I kill him first," said Inuyasha.

"Come on Inuyasha," whispered Miroku in his ear. "We need all the help we can get. This will benefit us and maybe Sesshoumaru will forget about killing you."

"Shall we dance?" said Sesshoumaru to Naraku. He started to attack him in full speed.

Naraku easily dodged his slashes and whipped his tentacles towards Sesshoumaru. He saw this coming and ducked. Inuyasha jumped in-between them and started attacking Naraku with his Tetsaiga. He gave a few slashes and was able to break the palette he was wearing. Naraku simply smiled at his boldness and widened his eyes. They grew darker and suddenly a hoard of youkais came down.

"Look!" Shippo pointed to the sky. "M-More demons."

Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru continued fighting Naraku as the others fought of the youkais.

"Hiraikotsu!" Sango slashed the youkais as Kirara pounced on them and ripped them to bits.

Shippo protected Kagome by using his Fox Fire attack. He held off a couple of them. Miroku hit them with his staff and used his ofuda on them. He spotted Sango fighting off a lot more youkais than she could handle. He ran towards her and held up his hand.

"Kazaana!" He sucked in all the demons into his hand.

"Let's go help Inuyasha," said Sango.

They both went, followed by Kirara, towards the fight with Naraku, Inuyasha, and Sesshoumaru. Shippo and Kagome stood watching as they battled the youkai.

"We gotta do something," said Kagome. "But I don't anymore arrows." She looked around to see if she accidentally missed one.

Shippo sniffed the air and ran towards where hole was. He saw the arrow Kikyo had shot earlier at Inuyasha. Grabbing it, he ran back to Kagome. "I found one," he said.

"Good. Now help me get up on that roof." She got on his back when he turned into a bird. When he landed on the roof she took out her bow. "I just need the right moment to shoot his heart."

Shippo turned back to his normal self. He then noticed someone on his shoulder. "Hey Myoga," he said.

Kagome looked back. "Myoga? What are you doing here?"

"I've come to see what was going on," he said. "I see Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru are fighting Naraku."

"You've come to realize that now?" Kagome said, narrowing her eyes at him.

"Kagome, you must use your arrow and Inuyasha's sword in order to defeat him."

"But I can't get threw him now," she told him.

Myoga placed a hand on his chin and thought for a minute. They waited patiently for his response.

Meanwhile Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha were surrounded by Naraku's tentacles. There was no way out and they were closing in. Naraku gave an evil smile.

"Join me Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru," he said. "You'll soon be in my body."

"Like hell I will," shouted Inuyasha as he slashed the tentacles.

"This is enough," said Sesshoumaru as he unsheathed his Toukijin. "I'll destroy you once and for all." He charged in the middle of Naraku. He sliced him but not enough to destroy him. "What the-" The place where he sliced him molded together as if nothing was damaged. He narrowed his eyes and jumped back.

Sango and Miroku attacked from above on Kirara's back. Naraku spotted them and roots came out from the ground. They stretched out towards them and Kirara was almost knocked out.

"Kirara!" cried Sango. She used her boomerang and sliced Naraku's tentacles. This caused an opening for Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru to escape. Miroku took out his arm to suck Naraku in.

Naraku summoned his poison insects and Miroku hesitated.

"Damn him," he said from underneath his teeth. "Sango, we need to distract Naraku so Inuyasha and Kagome can use their combined powers."

"Alright," she agreed. "Let's go Kirara." She flew them up to the youkai and started attacking.

Myoga watched this and he quickly got the idea. "Now is the time for you and Inuyasha to combine your powers!" he said anxiously at Kagome.

Kagome nodded and ran towards Inuyasha. "Inuyasha!" she called out.

"It's too dangerous Kagome," he said. "Stay back."

"You need to use yours and Kagome's powers to defeat him," said Myoga.

Inuyasha raised his eyebrow and looked at her confusingly. "What are you talking about?" He then gave Myoga an even more confused face. "It's a miracle you stayed this long."

Myoga simply cleared his throat and a huge tear drop formed on his head. "Well…you know I would never abandon my master."

"Whatever," he said, while rolling his eyes.

"If you two combine your powers then Naraku might be defeated," said Sesshoumaru. "Meanwhile I'll hold him off." With that he ran towards the battle scene. "I leave it up to you two."

Inuyasha stood dumbfounded as he watched his older brother.

"Inuyasha?"

"Let's go," he said.

"Right." They headed off to the battle.

"Alright Kagome you ready?" he asked.

"Yes." She stood high on top of a roof as Inuyasha took out his sword. Naraku was too distracted by the others that he didn't notice.

Inuyasha tried to find where the winds met. As soon as he found it he raised his Tetsaiga. "Kaze no Kizu!!" His powerful attack made Naraku turn around and everyone moved out of the way.

Kagome then shot her arrow. "Here goes." The arrow went right to Naraku's heart.

"What-" Naraku's eyes widened as his strength was being weakened. Then the arrow purified him and he held his chest. "Ahhhhhh!!" he roared as he began to disintegrate.

Everyone covered themselves from the awesome power the Tetsaiga consumed. Then it was over. Naraku had been defeated.

"Inuyasha." Kagome ran up to him and hugged him.

He smiled down at her and wrapped her arms around her as well. "It's finally over," he said, letting out a quick breath.

Miroku gasped as he felt something in his hand. He opened it and his Kazaana was gone. Kirara lowered herself down so he and Sango could get off. Sesshoumaru walked up to the gang but not to close.

"Look," said Myoga. "Isn't that a shikon shard?" He pointed at the huge piece of the Shikon no Tama on the floor.

Kagome picked it up and it was instantly purified. She safely placed it in her pocket. She was relieved that the danger was over and that everyone was not badly injured. Who knew that her arrow and the Tetsaiga could destroy such an evil monster?

Shippo jumped up with joy. "Hurray! We finally got him."

"Not bad little brother," smirked Sesshoumaru.

"Does this mean you're on our side?" Asked Kagome.

"Let's just say that we all needed to take revenge on Naraku," he told her. "But don't worry I'm not going to go after Inuyasha. He's proved worthy of the Tetsaiga." With that he started to walk away.

Inuyasha watched him with an amusing smirk on his face. "Until we meet again big brother," he said off in the distant.

The sun had just gone down and the sky became darker. Everyone was happy that the worst was over. Inuyasha watched as everyone cheered for their victory. Finally the youkai was put to rest and for this time for good.

Inu: YEAH! I finally killed that bastard.

Goku's L: Don't forget Kagome and others helped too.

Inu: I know (pouts) You don't have to tell me.

Goku's L: Don't worry you'll get your reward.

Inu: (blushes) Yea, yea.
