*Trouble in a Large City*

It was the year of 2021 and the streets of L.A. were looking like hell. Oh wait I almost forgot, allow me to introduce myself then I'll get back to what I was gonna say, not to confuse. Any way, I'm InuYasha and I work for the Los Angela's Police Department (L.A.P.D) and I'm one of the top investigators for this city. See L.A. used to be a nice quite city, full of playing kids, angry workers, and of course green flowered plains and trees.

Well it was like that until 2017 when things got ugly. At the time we were in a war against the Rob techs. A crazy industry in a small town of Edgar outside the dome. They supposedly thought we were sneaking in and stealing they're technology; which in fact they do have pretty awesome hardware for a small community.

But still I don't think, no wait it's possible, with so much criminals around here I could actually believe them. Well, anyways there's rarely any quiet around here in the slums like there was any before, but there was a good bit of quietness. Unlike the busy streets above us now.

See the city is divided now. It got like this ever since that damn governor got sick and tired of spending money on just any body and worrying about those damn Rob tech, not like he cared what happened, he just wanted to find an excuse of not being able to take care of the towns people is all, so he cut us short. The higher city above us is where the rich people and all of the industries are at. Talk about your up all nighters. And as for down here its for anyone, people from everywhere find a way through and settle here. I don't see why, but it must have some affect to them to live here.

I guess it's a way of saying "Hey look at me, I'm not a rich and helpless slob!", but you all know how that is around here. And I'm nothing like that. (cough liar cough) Ok maybe I can be a little rough around the edges, but you can't blame me I try I really do. Especially with being a good detective.

Anyways I'm down here to catch anyone and anything that gets in my way. Usually investigators or cops wouldn't dare come down just because they don't want to get their hands dirty on something they can't handle or that doesn't concern the higher level. Now me I'm willing to take the risk, to take that extra step towards stardom, well maybe not that far, but close enough.

I'll help anyone who's willing to understand my circumstance. "For the good people!" I always said and nothing less. But enough of that let's get on with the investigating. No one has come as far as I have in solving what those Rob bums are really after and that's exactly why I'm gonna finish it.

I know that was a short chapter, but trust me it will get better and longer. O_~ (hopefully)
