Chapter 15
The Hunt is on
Shippo quickly dressed and headed out the door in his usual attire. After exchanging numbers, he quickly kissed Kilala, and sent her on her way. He reached out to knock on Sesshomaru's door, but unfortunately, Sesshomaru had already opened it. Shippo pulled his hand away quickly, as the elder demon narrowed his eyes coldly at the youngster. Closing his door, he pushed past Shippo, with a slight growl. Shippo gulped and rubbed his neck apprehensively. He bowed his head submissively as he followed behind- careful not to cross him again.
The walk was tense. Shippo desperately tried to keep up with Sesshomaru's fast pace. Panting, he needed a way to break the tension between them or this flight would be unbearable. “ Sesshomaru, I'm sorry…”
“Save it, and hurry up!” Sesshomaru snapped coldly at the kitsune. He entered the port, and then stopped when he heard Shippo growling from behind. “Whelp do you need another lesson in respect!” He had felt the tension also, but finding his brother was his first priority. Not to mention he was cranky, due to some oversexed youngsters. “Because I do not think you will like the end results.”
Shippo clenched his claws and snarled, “is that a threat oh great Sesshomaru! Because the way I see it…” his eyes narrowed, “…you're jealous: `cause' your precious mate wasn't there to comfort you.” Shippo immediately regretted his last statement.
Sesshoumaru's eye widened. Was this fox asking for immediate death? He pondered the thought. Then concluded it wasn't about not having Rin with him. It was about having a coherent pilot. Not some kid whose eyes were un-rested.
He knew Shippo would be okay flying the plane since demons could go days without sleep. However, he did not want to take that chance. Sesshomaru fought back his urges to wallop the runt into a messy pulp. Nevertheless, pushed it aside, instead he turned and kept walking, “This will be dealt with later! Lets go!”
Shippo didn't budge he stood there with his arms crossed, “Aren't you forgetting your pilot.”
Sesshomaru turned looking at the fox, as his eyes flickered between gold and crimson. He was having a hard time trying not to kill the boy; but he knew Inuyasha would never forgive him. He curled his upper lip into a sardonic smile, “This ends now!” he said coolly, as he suddenly charged at the fox.
Shippo didn't even register the white blur racing toward him. He couldn't even blink before he was hoisted over the elders shoulder roughly. He suddenly felt like a sac of potatoes or worse yet Sesshomaru's bitch. His arms and feet were flaring around desperate to get out of the tight hold.
Sesshomaru didn't release him until they reached the plane. Letting Shippo go, the fox fell onto his back soundly. “Dammit Sesshomaru!” he hissed. Shippo suddenly inspected his tail for fractures, as he rubbed it soothingly. Using the wooden dock as an anchor, he steadied himself upright, looking away. Nonetheless, he screamed retribution.
“Do not push me again! It could have been far worse and you know it. Now get in the plane! I have a brother to find and if you still care…a friend.” Sesshomaru stated then climbed into the passengers' seat of the small aircraft. He'd hoped that he didn't have to force him in the plane. He mumbled to himself, “ God what have I done to be so cursed with this kit?” He brought his hands to his temple trying to ease himself, by rubbing it soothingly.
Shippo growled, but didn't argue back. Inuyasha was his friend. However, this new war between him and Sesshomaru wasn't over.
He watched as Sesshomaru entered the plane, and contemplated on whether to join him or not. His pride was beckoning him to stay, and he wasn't someone to be pushed around. On the other end of the situation, he didn't want his friend alone somewhere, only to find him dead. He trusted Sesshomaru's instincts, and smirked. Shaking his copper mane, he turned and jumped in the cockpit and started the engine. Making sure all the equipment worked properly, he faced Sesshomaru. “ I suggest you buckle up, this isn't going to be a pleasure cruse,” he remarked snidely, as he tightened Sesshomaru's seatbelt.
Sesshomaru glared at him, `oh yes this kit was going to die.' Shaking the repeated thought, he buckled tightly and gripped the door. He growled loudly, and then let go of the handle. No, he wouldn't show that his flying scared him. Therefore, he crossed his arms and smiled deciding to tough it out.
The propellers of the old plane roared to life, as water splashed onto the windows. The plane moved forward, as it crashed against the waves, until it was airborne.
Seeing Sesshomaru trying to remain confident amused him greatly. He would get him back when the old man wasn't expecting it.

It was midday since they left Alessandra's hut. They have already eaten the rations that were stored in the yellow bag. The brown hat was safely tucked away and he would wear it when the found civilization again.
Sweat beaded on his brow, as he hiked through the forest. The humidity made it hard for him to breath. Not to mention the heat, was immense. He was thankful that Kagome was light-as she slept on his back, with her head rested comfortably on his shoulder.
Inuyasha knew the risks of coming into the forest unprepared—again another test of survival—he could only hope that they would make it out alive. He wasn't sure if the authorities would continue to track him, or did they just give up? Where they looking for them, it seemed so? He growled softly as this continued to plagued his thoughts. `If so, who knew? Who was the mystery caller?'
Each bound Inuyasha took, he snarled as the moist earth sank in between his toes. At some point, he needed to use his claws—like a machete—to get through the thick forest vegetation that blocked his trail.
In all his years of travel, he'd never seen something so beautiful; as the rainforest. There many different color plant species that held an abundant home for the unusual wildlife. Even the trees towered over them, leaving their branches to high up to perch.
Yes seeing it on television was on thing. However actually traveling through the rainforest was another challenge; he opted never to do it again.
He trudged deeper and deeper into the forest, sinking into the soft moist earth. He cursed and could not find a limb that would make an easy escape. He considered turning around; unfortunately, he just could not put himself up to it. His pride led them- His ambition saving Kagome.
Frustrated he wordlessly cursed, careful not to wake Kagome. He sniffed the air; the fresh scent of rain hit his nose, and thunder echoed off in the distance. He knew that a strong storm was brewing; he did not know whether to be upset or grateful.
Minutes passed and there was still no rain. He knew it rained often here and the water would be refreshing for both of them.
A breeze cooled the forest, as the charcoal color storm clouds moved in quickly. The leaves shook restlessly above them as some of the loose leaves soared high into the canopy.
Monkeys yelled as Inuyasha passed by. Their calls were high pitched and Inuyasha's ears flattened trying to drown out the annoying sound. His ears twitched rapidly as the smaller mammals scurried away in the green underbrush, running away from the calls of danger. He sniffed the air continuously searching for shelter. He needed to find somewhere for the night, to build a fire, and have a dry bed-even if it was made out of leaves.
He could tell Kagome wouldn't wake anytime soon, by her light snoring. He grabbed her arms gently as they dangled freely over his chest.
Glancing up he observed the monkeys jumping from limb to limb, following behind them still screaming. He could only guess that he was a possible threat to their existence. He wanted to growl, yet he just thought that he must have been treading on their territory. “Stupid monkeys,” he grumbled, “like I would eat them.”
Colorful birds sang in the distance not bothered by the nuisance. Coming into a thick patch of vivid green foliage, he'd stop amazed at the sight before him. Different species of butterfly conjured and fluttered aimlessly while their colorful wing beat freely. He just stood there and watched them, as they landed on the entwined vines climbing up a large, thick tree trunk. He shook Kagomes' arm trying to wake her but she would not budge, he tried again. He didn't want to waist this romantic interlude. Disappointed he couldn't rouse her; he decided to leave.
The deeper he continued into the jungle the noises seemed to intensify He wished he were back at home, in his bed away from the blood suckling beasts that now infested him and Kagome. “Damn Mosquito's!” he snarled. The small humming noise that the little devils produced annoyed him immensely.
It wasn't only mosquitoes, but gnats and biting flies, infested their bodies. Inuyasha was surprised that she could sleep through this ordeal. He could only pray that the clouds would open and let the rain consume them. For maybe, the bugs wouldn't bother them anymore, or for at least a while that is.
It seemed God answered his prayers, as the sky finally opened up. The rain fell hard and fast. The rough pellets of rain escaped through the shroud ness of trees, leaving no protection, against Mother Nature's wrath.
Kagome awoke, her clothes and hair was soaking wet. She rubbed her eyes and was thankful for the coolness. “Inuyasha,” she mumbled. She couldn't hold the snicker when he turned to acknowledge her, he looked like a wet dog, and began to smell like one.
“What's so funny sweetheart?” Inuyasha asked.
“Do you really want me to answer that?”
He thought about it then probably thought she was goading him, or making fun of him during the storm. His eyes narrowed, “ No, I don't sweetheart.”
She chuckled again, “Okay, I won't; but could you be so kind as to put me down. I`ve wanted a bath for a while now and I not missing this opportunity.”
Now it was his turn to chuckle, “Yeah, sweetheart, cause you stink.” He felt her smack his arm playfully as he smiled at her. Kagome was about to retort. “Sweetheart save it, cause I probably stink also.” She just laughed.
Kagome looked up into the heavens and the water came down her face. She only implored that the caked on blood was gone. She ran her finger through her hair wishing she had some kind of shampoo, or conditioner. Her hair was definitely going to frizz when it dried, thanks to the humidity.
Looking down, her silk camisole clenched her body tightly. Yet, she did not seem to mind and the look Inuyasha was giving her he didn't either. She smiled brightly at him as she ran her hands up and down her arms, trying to rid the sweat, blood, and dirt off her skin. She also noticed that the scratches were indeed gone. She did not even have any scars visible; again, she would have to thank him later.
Inuyasha on the other hand was too entranced with her sultry behavior, even if she was not trying to be seductive. He just stood there not moving as the rain fell from his brow. He was however thankful that the annoying buzzing ceased, so he was not distracted from her washings. The water shimmered off her now cleansed body. Her arms were completely healed as he could see, and the blood from her face was washed away.
As quickly as the storm came it had ended, Inuyasha kneeled down on all fours and shook himself like a dog. His mane flew from side to side as he slowly dried off. He growled when Kagome busted into a fit of giggles.
Inuyasha glanced at her giving a predatory glare. She instantly stopped laughing and began to back away. It was effortless, as she watched him, glaring at her. “Inuyasha, I'm so sorry,” she pleaded. He never responded. Out of nowhere, Inuyasha pounced on her!

“Hiten where are you? What the fuck do you mean that you lost them? Go and fucking find them…before I come over there and rip your god dammed heart out!” Naraku snarled this was not the news he was expecting.
Naraku just returned to his Colombian home. His white marble mansion sat at a base of a hill, overlooking the city. He quickly walked up the open stairwell, leading to his open patio.
-“I'm somewhere near Venezuela, and yes I understand, they will be found.” -
“You better Hiten! Heed my words…oh, and one more thing Hiten.” Naraku waited for his response.
-“Yes.” -
“You tell that fucking captain to call me as well! I want whatever it takes, bring them to me alive! The Bonita is mine, and the half-demon will be unable to stop my previous actions.” Naraku chuckled then hung up on the man. This time he would have her withering in his bed, and Inuyasha chained to the wall with a gun to his forehead. Better yet, his beauty would be chained as well. He grabbed himself-shifting uncomfortably-she would not be able to best him this time.
Shaking off the painful memory, he glared at his men. “Ready your things, it seems a trip is needed.” Then turned and went into his house.

Shippo circled some of the islands, Sesshomaru pointing to land. Shippo listened and landed carefully into the ocean. He propelled his plane as close as they could get near the shoreline. He didn't want to damage the pontoons underneath the belly of the giant chrome beast. Coral reefs were dangerous, and even the strong metal, was no match from the sharpness of the reefs. Shippo chucked a weight that happened to be strapped around the arm of the pontoon, to keep the plane from drifting away.
Once Sesshomaru opened the door from the plane, he knew; Inuyasha scent was all over this Island, but there were other scents mingled as well. “Inuyasha, my little brother please be here,” he said solemnly. Taking off his shoes, and then rolling up his pants, he jumped into the shallows of the water, rushing towards the shoreline.
Shippo's eyes widened with hope as well, he followed Sesshomaru. He could smell rotting flesh and a couple other scents that he did not recognize. However, Inuyasha's was strong. He could feel the anxiety from Sesshomaru; he too was perturbed to find his friend.
“Split up, and keep low. I don't know who else has been on this Island but it's not good.” He could smell another half-demon, and prayed that it was not his brother that smelt of decaying flesh. He covered his nose the scent was strong.
Shippo looked up into the sky, the wind suddenly shifted. He noticed a gale was approaching, “whatever we do we better do it quickly! Or we will be the ones stuck here.”
Sesshomaru eyed the kit but then also gazed up into the heavens, he growled. Closing his eyes and cursing, he stopped when the undeniable scent of his brothers' blood hit his sensitive nose. “Never mind I found him, follow me.” Without waiting for a response, Sesshomaru burst into a full sprint his nose leading the way.

With a grunt, she was straddled; she didn't even see him he was to fast. Her arms were forced above her head, as he held them tightly. His façade veiled under his silver bangs, hiding the reddish tint in his eyes. Yet, his stripes above his cheeks were visible. His voice deepened, “You like to make fun of me bitch?
Her chest constricted up and down she could feel her heart speed up, palpitating in her chest. She whimpered under his intensity.
“Answer me bitch!” Inuyasha snarled he did not intend to hurt her, but his demon side wanted submission. He also recognized her as his indented; however, Kagome didn't know this.
“Oh! Now were back to calling me names! I see how you are, and yet here I thought you've changed.” Her eyes narrowed and her voice groggy as she held back the tears. She loved him and thought the shaking display was somewhat cute. It just reminded her of Sandy.
He growled grinding into her body, his arousal pressed into her core. Feeling the heat between them, his bitch was becoming aroused and he couldn't have that. “That isn't the answer I seek! Now answer the fucking question!”
She closed her eyes, why couldn't she just answer him? Was it due to her pride? Or, was it the way he was talking to her? Kagome rebelled, “You know what Inuyasha! I don't like your tone…now get off me!”
“No! Answer me! On the other hand, face the consequences of your actions. Why where you making fun of me?” He repeated the question. He left his one arm holding her wrists, while his now free hand began to roam over her body; heading towards her skirt.
She caught her breath, feeling his hands on her body. The pressure from his weight was becoming, hard to think, hard to breath. She just wanted him. She loved him, and certainly needed him. Importunely, he wasn't complying to her bodies needs.
Kagome could feel his fingers finding her underwear; it was quickly shredded from her body. `What is he going to do to me? Rape me? No he wouldn't go that far, would he?' She fought his touch, only to open her eyes to stare into the depth of his crimson gaze. “Inuyasha please, I said I was sorry.”
“Not good enough,” he said cynically. Leaving the shredded fabric, he tested her to see if she was wet, and indeed, she was. “ I told you defy me again and I was going to fuck your brains out!”
“What!” she screamed, he was going through with this, even if it seemed like rape. Which she knew wasn't, since she was becoming aroused by his sudden dominating factors. “Inuyasha if I laugh at you its because I find you amusing,” she clenched her teeth as his fingers entered her, she gasped.
He continued to fondle her sensitive bud watching her squirm under his hold. Her head reared back into the ground as her eyes closed as well. She was close; he could feel it, smell it. He stopped as she panted. She re-opened her eyes glaring at him. This was her punishment not being able to release, `That bastard!'
“Say it bitch! Tell me!” he demanded, while his fangs perturbed out of the side of his mouth. He flicked the sensitive area again, almost bringing her to climax, but quickly ceased. He would continue this until he got her answer, but this was mostly about her submission-his beast yearned for it.
Kagome wasn't enjoying this, her body needed, `No!' begged for some kind of release. She was in pain, and tears threatened to escape her closed eyes. Panting heavily, she answered him. “What more do you want me to say? I already apologized!”
That sent him over the edge. She refused to give in—refused to submit. “Don't make me a monster Kagome! Don't make me fuck you like this!” he snarled, undoing the button from his pants. “I will give you what you want if you answer the fucking question!” he flicked her sensitive spot again. He did love watching her wither, helplessly under his scrutiny.
Kagome mentally sighed; she had no choice but to submit. “Please…” she pleaded.
“What was that bitch?” he unzipped his zipper.
Kagome tried to back away but his weight and his hold was tight. She wanted to make love to him not be punished. “Please Inuyasha… I love you, and I didn't mean to laugh…you looked cute.”
He smelt her unease, letting her go; he didn't want this to be a frightening occurrence between them. Especially after what that bastard did to her. Yet, he didn't like being made fun of either-particularly not from her. His growl softened, his inner beast was pleased. She finally submitted.
Yet his red orbs remained, now it was calling to bring her immense pleasure. Even if his demon-side was rougher than his half-demon form; he would still reward her.
Kagome turned her head to the side; she sensed his sudden change and assumed that he finally got what he wanted out of her. Unfortunately, she now was frustrated. She felt his claws go under her chin, only to turn her to face him once again. She was met with lust filled eyes and a wicked smirk.
Inuyasha released her, but she didn't look away. “Inuyasha,” she said softly, as she cupped his cheek tenderly. “ I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to laugh at you. I just never seen anyone behave that way before…you reminded me of Sandy after her bath.”
He lowered his head to her ear, whispering, “Well bitch! I'm after all a dog…isn't that what dogs do? Or do you need reminding of what I'm capable of doing…especially to your sexy body.” Without waiting for a response, he attacked her lips. Passionately yet tenderly. He needed to show her that she was indeed forgiven. A soft rumble escaped his chest when she responded with the same vigor, as her arms wrapped around his, bringing his body closer to hers.
It did not matter that they were on the forest floor, or that the ground was wet, the urge to copulate, to bring each other total bliss was needed, and would not be denied any longer.

Sesshomaru growled as he could still see the crimson stain on the white beach. Yet, there was no body. He did not feel that his brother left this world to join the afterlife. Sesshomaru knew his brother was very much alive. His brother wasn't alone-there was a woman with him. The smell of decaying flesh also lingered. He frowned, beyond the scent of death, was a blanket of familiarity.
Shippo could see the mighty lord kneeling on the sand; he prayed that Inuyasha was still alive. His bare feet sunk into the sandy beach, as he cursed blatantly stepping on something hard. It didn't feel like a rock; or a crab. Reaching down he scooped up a silver bracelet. `This is Inuyasha's.' He recognized it right away. “Sesshomaru I found Inuyasha's bracelet.
The elder demon stood, “Good, hold on to it. Inuyasha is alive but he is not alone. They are no longer on this Island. Lets get back to the mainland before we caught up in this storm.”
Shippo nodded and they retreated towards the plane.
