I'm back..I'm back..

Since it's a lovely-lovely weekend,

I can update whenever I want.Lol.

Monday is back to the gloomy, cold fortress of The Undead..

Filled with Dread, Pain and Devastation, mingled with Fear ,Tears and Death..

Meaning school, well, they are the same.So..

LOL.

'This Kagome girl seems nice enough..

She thought, taking out a small knife from her hand bag.

It glowed a pale silvery light.

She nodded slowly. 'I see.'

This is where we stopped.Innit? ^_^

Kagome, oblivious to the object behind her back, was preparing the tea for the mysterious woman in a lean, black suit.

Even if she did see the glittering knife, she would consider the folder more deathly..

'She knows..or maybe Inuyasha killed some guys..Oh nooo...'She blushed to her self.

'I left my bra there..They probably did the finger-prints thingy of some sort.

How else would they find me?She must be police..'All those horrible thoughts raced through her head.'At least my mother isn't here..'

She turned around, balancing the tray on one hand and holding the kettle in the other, disposing of both on the table she passed a cup to Sango, who took it delicately with one hand, the other being busy with the knife on her lap.

"Thank you, Kagome, "

She said,taking a sip, obviously not in a hurry to state her business and identity.

Kagome shifted in her seat uncomfortably, not touching her tea.

"Err..Miss, my mum said you called and said that you were a friend of mine..

Why did you do that?"

Sango put the cup down, looking at Kagome ,she reached for the object Kagome feared the worst."Because-"She cleared her throat."because the talk that lays ahead of us is not the most pleasant one.And I don't suppose your mother knows about it.Or else she would've called the police already."

Kagome gulped.

"Yesterday night-" Kagome wished for an instant death.

"Yesterday night, three young boys were attacked, one of them was partly paralised, after being thrown on the wall with unbelievable force."

Kagomes eyes grew wide with horror, as she reconciled the time when Inuyasha bashed the guy who was trying to rape her against the wall.

Sango looked through her papers, stealing a glance at Kagome.

'So she does know something.'

"The other one," She continued," had his jaw broken in two and is still out.

And the third one had eight broken ribs and a severe shock."

She looked up at Kagome, who was doing a perfect imitation of a gold fish.

"A-and why a-are you telling me all this?"She asked.

"Because-" Sango reached for her hand bag, and took out a plastic bag, with something white and familiar.

'OH HELL'

"Because we believe *this* belongs to you, Kagome."

'OOHHH HHEEEELLLLL....'Now Kagome preferred death over this even more.

Perhaps even a slow and painful one.She was starting to feel sick.

Sango, seeing the girls condition, was trying to come with something to comfort the girl, and find out what she wanted.

"Don't worry Kagome."She said, coming up to the distressed girl and putting an arm over her shoulder."I'm here only to find out the truth, you are not accused of anything.The guys from the hospital claimed that they were hanging out with you and a couple of other people.They say they wont say any names because they didn't want to get anyone in trouble."

Kagomes fear turned to an anger of immense strength and size-

How dare they..

She couldn't keep it any longer.

"GET US IN TROUBLE?!" She screamed, startling Sango."They tried to RAPE me!"

She started crying, shaking with violent sobs.Sangos eyes widened, the guys back there were pretty good at making up stories.

"So I see.But what happened later on?" She demanded the sobbing Kagome.

"T-then..After..I..T-they.."Kagome stuttered.

"How did you escape?" "I..Can I just go to the bathroom for a second? I need some tissues.""Sure" Even though it was taking longer than she wanted it to be, Sango had no choice but to oblige.

When Kagome disappeared into the bathroom, Sango got up, taking the dagger and went to the stairs- the dagger started glowing a bit stronger.

'Strange..'She thought.'Its about half as bright as it has to be.Either the youkai is far away or very weak.'She sighed, thinking of her past encounters with youkai.

She preferred the latter.

Kagome blew her nose, trying to think up an excuse.How could she tell her the truth?Inuyasha said that they were always after him for some reason.

She opened the door and saw Sango going up the stairs.

Blind fear took control."Wait!You cant go there!"

She cried.Sango didn't pay her any heed, following the light from her dagger.

Kagome noticed the dagger in her hands and ran up the stairs, grabbing Sangos legs, Sango fell, caught unawares.

"Let go of me, silly girl,don't you realize that if you keep and protect him,

He'll turn against you and death will be his form of grattetude?!"

Kagome looked up."H-How do you know?..Dont kill him!He is nice, he's my friend!

He was the one that saved me!Those guys tried to kill him!He has four gun wounds!"

She cried.'So it *is* a youkai.Weak, too.How dare he use this girl as a shield?!'

Sango got up, ignoring the crying and gripping Kagome.

She opened the door, burst in, her youkai exterminating dagger ready-she searched the room for a few milliseconds and then turned her attention to the bed..

A soft gasp escaped her lips.

She expected a monster, but there, on the bed lay a creature similar to that of an angel.His chest was rising and falling slowly, silver hair fanned out on the pillow and blankets.His lower half was covered with a blanket, his shoulders bandaged and his right hand resting on his stomach.

So beautiful..So horrible..A youkai.Her grip around the dagger tightened, as she neared the bed.

She looked at his peaceful features, noticing a pair of cat ears on top of his head.

*sweatdrop*

Even with those ears, he still managed to look gorgeous.

She raised the dagger over his chest, she had to do it.The youkai who ripped her little brother to pieces was gorgeous, too.He had long, black, wavy hair and..

Whatever.She raised the dagger even higher-for Kohaku- *Crash*

Sango had completely forgotten Kagome- who was standing behind her with a her school bag on her hands.

'And my friend says its light..'She thought with a sweatdrop as she watched Sango sink to the floor, dropping her gagger on Inuyashas stomach.

"Inuyasha?Are you ok?"She asked, stepping over Sangos limp form.

He was already looking at her."Baka."

Kagome almost dropped her bag. "W-What?!"

"Baka."He repeated."Why did you do that?"He asked, angry for some reason.

"WELL SHE WOULD'VE KILLED YOU!! You baka."

"No she wouldnt've.I was ready to grab her wrist when you hit her.

I couldn't have possibly been asleep after the racket on the stairs."

Kagome blushed.

"Besides, now you're gonna get in trouble."

'Darn right.'

Kagome silently looked at the now unconscious Sango.

"A youkai exterminator.."Growled Inuyasha."Huh?"

"They are a special kind of police,"He replied."They themselves, police and some youkai know them.Ususally the youkai that know them don't live to tell the others."

Kagome gasped and looked at the beautiful woman on the floor in horror.

So that explains the dagger..

"You see, they have their own kind of weapons, which youkai cant survive.I only know about the daggers.They say they have something worse.."

Kagome dropped her bag and went over to her wardrobe, looking for something to tie Sango up with."Crap.How could've known that I'll need *ropes*?"She complained.

"There."She said,taking out a pair of black stockings."I hope that'll do the trick."

She did her best at tying the demon exterminators limbs.The idea of her waking up and 'exterminating' Inuyasha not appealing to her in any way..

She sat back on the bed to admire her handiwork.

Inuyasha couldn't help himself but admire the girl..He had already learnt how much she was scared of getting in trouble, and the idea that she did it for him...

'No, she's doing it because she doesn't want blood on her bed..Yeah, that's it.

And..And she said that I'm her friend for the same reason..'

Kagome picked up the dagger, shrugging an wondering how many youkai it has killed.

She turned to Inuyasha."You know,Inu-chan, I've always thought that youkai were a fairy tale, or at least something that happened a very long time ago..How come no one knows about them?"

Inuyasha thought for a moment,"You see, the government doesn't want the people to know about youkai, so the murders by youkai are made to look like they were done by people or were accidents.."

Kagome looked at him in surprise."Oh.I see."

'She'll probably hate me now..'

They were both distracted from their sad thoughts by a groggy chuckle.

"I see you're not that stupid.."Said Sango, who was now leaning on the wall,

And grinning stupidly."Quite a bag you've got there..Oww.."

"Why do you want to kill him?"Asked Kagome.

Sangos grin disappeared "because he's a youkai, silly girl."

"What did I do to you?" Asked Inuyasha."Why do you want to kill me?!

I was only trying to protect Kagome!I didn't want to kill those guys!!"

He stood up and fell on his knees, clutching at his stomach ,a red web of blood spreading through the white bandages."Inu-chan!"

Kagome jumped up and caught him, preventing him from falling face down on the floor.

"Your wound re-opened!Get back to bed."She helped him back up on the bed,

And got some new bandages, under Sangos watchful eye.

'She really likes him, and I think he likes her as well.Though..No it's not possible.

Youkai don't love.'..

"You're so pathetic for a youkai.."She told Inuyasha, picking on what she thought would be his weak spot."You need to be looked after by a human girl."

Inuyasha glared at her from the bed."I'm not a youkai.I'm a hanyou.And I don't need her help.She just does that because she wants to.."

'A hanyou?!'Sango had only heard about them.Hanyous were very rare, because a hanyou was only born if both sides agreed on..er..Close contact.

"Was your mother human?"She asked."Yes..But I haven't seen her since I was ten or so..""And how long ago was that?"

"About seven years ago.Why?"

"How did you end up in the streets?"

"Why are you asking me all this anyway? I thought you just wanted to kill me?"

"I've never come across a hanyou, so I'm interested.Maybe you're not guilty and I wont have to kill you." 'Yeah,dream on, hanyou.I'll have you dead.'

"So if you find out what you will hear all you want to know you wont kill me?"

Inuyasha asked with an earnest face, making Sangos heart twinge.

"Yes.So.How did you end up in the streets?"

Inuyasha sighed deeply."Well..My father was killed when I was only a few months old.*He gave her a very meaningful stare*And my mother got married again-"

"What do you mean, married again?"

"Well, she was married to my father before that, wasn't she, baka."

"I didn't know youkai could get married.."

"They can.So do you want me to continue or not? I don't like talking about this and would very gladly get it over with quickly."

"Yes-"Nodded Sango."Go on." 'Man this girl can tie a knot..'

"Well, later on my mother got married again, and her new husband had a kid.

He was older than me for ten or so years, and well.."He shifted uncomfortably.

"Well, he abused me.Since I couldn't hurt him, or tell my mother I just ran away."

Sango was pale.

Kagome was green.

'Great.They'll think something horrible now.'

"Hey, he didn't go THAT far.I ran away before he could."He eased the tension a little."And I don't understand why are you after me.I'm not a youkai, and I've never killed anyone.You said I only hurt those guys yesterday."

"Well, like I said before, my job is to kill youkai-HEy hold it.

You *heard* what I said downstairs?!" Sango shrieked, making Inuyasha flatten his ears.Kagome sighed inwardly.'Kawai..But judging by what he said, he must be around seventeen.-_-...I don't have a chance..'

"Yeah, my father was a dog youkai.So I heard every word.And you had chocolate today.And coffee. "

Sango didn't have any words.

Kagome hoped that her deodorant was still working.Now she'll keep his nose in mind.

Finally Sango found herself."Kagome, would you please untie me?

You know, hitting police on the head with your school bag and tying them with your stockings might be considered a crime.."

Kagome didn't move but looked at Inuyasha, who just nodded, Kagome still didn't move.

"Look,Kagome, I promise I wont do anything rash.But you'd have to prove that he is harmless.I will also go and find your brother and have a little chat with him."

Kagome imitated a statue.

"Fine then."Sango stood up.

"Whaaatt?"

"You look surprised Kagome.Did you really think you could disarm someone who killed hundreds of youkai by a pair of stockings?Honestly..."

She walked up to the bed, and grabbed her dagger."So.I'll go pack my things."

Kagome sweatdropped."Well, how else did you think I'll watch him?

I'll move in for a little."

"Move where?"

"Here."

........

"Oh no..No-no-no-no..You cant move in here!We don't have any rooms!"

"I'll stay in the living room."

"But my mum!"

"You'll tell her I'm your friend from the net and have come to stay a little."

"But I'll be going to school!"

"Good.I'll watch him."

Kagome turned to Inuyasha for support, to find him out.

She sighed and turned back to Sango.

"Well..I suppose..And you could stay in my room during the day to prevent my mum from coming in.."

Sango clapped her hands."Well,its settled then!"

She went over to the door."I'll be back in a few hours.He'd better be still here!"

Kagome rolled her eyes and nodded.

'It sure was an exciting sunday..'

It probably was the most exciting Sunday she's come across in her entire life...

She decided to go for a little walk to get some supplies.

Candy.Chocs.Etc.

She took a paper and a pen and wrote:

"Dear Inu-chan!

I just went out for a little walk.Incase you wake up before I come back.

If Sango comes before me, tell her I went to a nearby shop to get some stuff.

Kagome"

She put the paper on his chest and wondered how much will she actually be able to get with her coins..

She stole a glance at her sleeping angel and hoping that neither Sango or her mother would come back before her, left.

Sango packed her stuff in less than half an hour, told the headquarters about her progress and was on her way back by the time Kagome got to the shop...

Kagome picked out the cheapest candies she could find and headed home.

When she got to the temple, she noticed a small, red car in front of it.

"Oh great.."She mumbled, coming up, she went into the house, 'good',

her mother was still out, but she saw the black, high-heeled shoes, which she recognized as Sangos.

She hurried upstairs to find Sango sitting on a chair by her computer, looking through her drawings."HEy! Ever heard of privacy?!"

She stormed, blushing.Sango grinned."But they're good.You should be proud of them."

"They are horrible."

"No they are awesome.So stop it.By the way-"She added.Lifting Kagomes note from the desk."Do you think he can read?"

Kagome blinked."Well, he said he ran away when he was ten..He must've went to school.." "A hanyou?.."

'Never gave it a thought..'

"Well, we'd have to ask him when he wakes up."

Kagome looked at Inuyasha.'Damn.She *had* to interfere..She wanted Inuyasha all for herself.

Inuyasha opened his eyes and looked around the room.Kagome was sitting on the floor, next to the bed.On the chair..Sat Sango, turning her dagger in her hands and looking at him coldly.

He looked at Kagome for explanation, but stopped himself when he noticed how sadly she looked at him.'What the?..'

"I'm so sorry Inuyasha..But..But she has to.."She looked at Sango sadly.

Inuyasha looked at her in shock..No..she couldn't have..Well she did..She knows the truth about me..And she has to obey the authorities..He looked at her, unable to control his tears..His voice came out all low and shaky."K-Kagome.. How could you?..Why did you?..I-I thought that..You said I was your friend!"

Kagome raised her eyebrows at him."What do you mean? I am your friend."

She reached out to take his hand, but he pulled it away.

'How could she?..Did she pretend to like me all this time?Well, of course..who could ever like a freak like me?'

"Why did you pretend to be my friend all this time and just let her kill me when I'm weak and hopeless?"

The pain in his chest grew and grew-threatening to stop his breaking heart.

She.The first person whom he could call a friend and liked more than himself betrayed him just like that..

"What are you talking about Inu-chan?"She reached out but he growled and found a silvery dagger pressed to his throat.So its true.

"NOO!" Screamed Kagome and flung herself on Inuyasha,Sango barely managed to pull her dagger away, barely in time to prevent the crazy girl from slitting her own throat."Inuyasha!What are you talking about?Sango promised

That she wont kill you if I let her stay and make sure you are not dangerous."

Inuyasha let the words sink in."So..you didn't let her stay to *Kill* me?.."

His voice still shaky and low.Kagome frowned."So you thought I made an agreement with Sango to give you over to her?.."

Inuyasha nodded slowly, blinking to fight back the tears.

'Oh my god..He got so upset because he thought I betrayed him?..'

"Oh,Inu-chan!"She cried, cupping his face in her hands and pressing her forehead to his."I'll never do such a thing..Never."She whispered, shaking her head slowly.

Inuyasha put his right hand around her waist, blushing slightly at the distance,

or rather the absence of it, between their faces.

"Ahem."

They pulled apart, to look at the smiling and slightly blushing Sango.

Kagome blushed furiously, she's completely forgotten about her!

"So,-"Started Sango."Kagome and I were wondering, can you read?

I mean, did you go to school or anything?'Cause you really don't speak like a street bum..."

I'm trying to keep each characters role the same.Or similar to that in the Rumikos story..I'm really upset about having to make Kouga such a bastard.I really like him.

Though I'm afraid that Musou's character and role will be..Err..Different!

I'm planning to keep M-...Ooops.
