Sango woke up Saturday morning and followed her morning routine. She fed Kirara, got the newspaper, made some coffee for herself, and cleared out the empty bottles in her father's room. After that, she woke up Kohaku.

While they got breakfast Sango said to him, "Miroku's parents want to take me out for lunch today. Do you want to stay here while I'm gone, or should I call one of your friends to see if you can go somewhere?"

"Actually, I was going to meet Shippo and Souta at the arcade in a few hours." He said.

"All right, I'll have my cell phone if you need me. Dad is running low, though, so don't bring your friends over."

"Okay, thanks for warning me."

The two of them cleared the table when they finished and did their chores. Sango quickly showered and changed into a long black skirt and a red tank top with a black see-through jacket over it. While she applied her make-up, her cell phone rang.

"Hello."

"Hey baby." Miroku said smoothly.

"Hey." Her spirits lifted as she heard his voice.

"We're on our way to pick you up. You ready?"

"Yup, all set."

They said goodbye and Sango walked out of her room. Kohaku wasn't leaving for a while, so he was watching T.V. She sat down next to him on the couch until the doorbell rang. Sango ruffled her kid brother's hair and said bye to him.

At the door stood Miroku in front of two well-dressed adults. Miroku was wearing khaki pants and a white dress shirt. His mother was wearing a maroon pantsuit with a matching purse, and his father was wearing black slacks and a gray dress shirt. They were a very attractive family, and Sango felt slightly anxious.

Miroku gave her a small smile and stepped forward to kiss her cheek. "Relax." He whispered in her ear quickly.

Stepping back, he introduced them. "Mom, Dad, his is my girlfriend Sango Taijiya. Sango, these are my parents."

Sango shook hands with both of them. "It's nice to meet you, Mr. And Mrs. Houshi."

They smiled warmly at her. "It's nice to meet you, too." Mrs. Houshi replied.

They walked down to a black 4 door Acura TSX, Mrs. Houshi asking Sango about her family.

"Well, it's just me, my father, and my little brother here. No other relatives live in this country." She explained as they got in the car.

"What about your mother?" Mrs. Houshi asked politely.

"She died when I was thirteen."

"I'm so sorry." She replied respectfully.

"It's alright. It's been rough without her, but we've been doing fine." Sango said reassuringly.

"Is your father home?" Mr. Houshi asked as he drove to a restaurant.

"Actually, he left early this morning, though he said to tell you all hello, and he's sorry he couldn't meet you." Sango lied hurriedly.

Miroku glanced at her casually, feeling that she wasn't being truthful, but he said nothing.

When they reached the restaurant they asked Sango what she thought about the senior trip.

"I think it'll be a wonderful way for all of us to experience different cultures first hand. While we're they, there are certain things that the teachers have assigned us to do. Research on the area and things like that. I think it'll be a great learning experience." She said politely.

Mrs. Houshi smiled at her and grasped her son's hand. "You've got a real gem here, Miroku. I hope you appreciate her."

Miroku smiled at his mother and nodded his head. "I'm amazed at how lucky I am."

Sango blushed slightly and smiled.

Mr. Houshi smiled at his wife and said, "A charmer like his old man, right dear?"

Mrs. Houshi laughed. "You, a charmer? Don't get ahead of yourself."

Sango laughed as Miroku's parents playfully bickered about how charming he was exactly, and Miroku placed his hand and Sango's knee.

"Having fun?" He mouthed to her.

Sango smiled and nodded her head.

The conversation while they ate was polite but amusing, and Sango felt very comfortable around Miroku's parents.
When they were walking back to the car to drive Sango home, Mrs. Houshi said to her husband, "You know dear, I'm glad we decided to come home for a brief spell. We got to meet Miroku's girlfriend and spend time with Miroku. It's a pity we have to go back to soon."

Mr. Houshi agreed. "Yes, a pity. But, we've got to pay the bills somehow."

"When do you go back?" Miroku asked as he held the car door open for Sango.

"Tuesday." His mother replied, getting in the car.

Miroku nodded his head but didn't say anything. At Sango's house, Miroku walked her up to the door.

"This was fun." She said, smiling.

Miroku grinned at her. "I wouldn't go so far to call it fun. Tedious, yes."

Sango rolled her eyes, but gasped when Miroku stepped closer to her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and gave her a gentle kiss.

"This is fun." He murmured against her lips.

Sango gave him another quick kiss before stepping out of his embrace. "Call me."

Miroku winked and walked away as Sango let herself into her house.

At school, Kouga had seemed especially cocky, more than usual, but he never tried anything else with Inu Yasha. However, he never lost an opportunity to hit on Kagome. This pissed off Inu Yasha more than anyone could imagine, but Kagome would always stop him from going after Kouga.

"You won't be able to go on the senior trip if you fight him. Come on. Just ignore him."

Inu Yasha had become increasingly possessive over Kagome. He never passed up a chance to be with her, and he was constantly holding her in his arms and giving her tiny kisses. Not that she minded one bit.

And he always made sure he was there to pick her up at her house and drive her home. After Sango drove Kagome to school that one day, Inu Yasha stated that he wanted to do it from then on. Kagome explained to him why Sango drove her, but Inu Yasha made her promise that he could drive her.

Sango didn't care either way. Ms. Higurashi agreed to take Kohaku while they were away, and that was the only reason she drove Kagome that morning.

So, after everything going on at school, Kagome was definitely looking forward to relaxing during the weekend. Sunday morning she woke up at ten and wandered downstairs. In the kitchen she found Souta talking on the phone.

He talked for a few more minutes before hanging up and saying to Kagome, "Sango and Rin wanted me to tell you to get dressed and bring your bathing suit, they are coming to pick you up in ten minutes."

Kagome, who had a bagel partway to her mouth looked at him and said, "What?"

"Sango and Rin are picking up Shippo and bringing him and Kohaku over here, and then they are going to pick you up and they want you to get dressed and bring your swimsuit." He said as he walked out of the room. "Ten minutes. Mom says you can go."

Completely confused, Kagome stood up and stuffed her bagel in her mouth. She ran upstairs and jumped into the shower. When she turned off the water and wrapped a towel around herself she walked back into her room to find Sango and Rin sitting on her bed. They were each wearing a pair of shorts and bikini tops. Sango's was bright pink with little gems on each breast, and had straps tying it around her neck and back. Rin's was lime green and had tiny monkeys all over it, and it also tied around her neck and back.

"Did you honestly expect me to be done with a shower in ten minutes?" She asked them.

Rin laughed. "No, but we were anxious to get here and get going." She threw a swimsuit and a pair of shorts at her. "Go get dressed so we can go."

"Go where?" Kagome asked as they pushed her back into her bathroom.

"We'll tell you when you're dressed." Sango called through the door.

Kagome put on her swimsuit, which was black and outlined in red. She tied the straps around her neck and back quickly before pulling her shorts over the bottom half of her swimsuit.

When she walked back into her room she packed a change of clothes and said, "Okay, someone explain to me what we're doing!"

"Pool party." Was all Rin said before she walked out of her room, Sango following.

Kagome slipped her feet into her flip-flops and grabbed her sunglasses. She hurried after them and said, "Where? When was this decided?"

Kagome's mom said bye to them at the door and Rin explained, "Sessy and Yash's house. And I talked it over with Sess this morning. Today is a record high, so pool time!" She jumped around excitedly.

Parked outside of Kagome's house was a black 4x4 Jeep Wrangler.

"Whose car?" Kagome asked.

"Mine." Rin answered. "Birthday present from my dad. He sent it yesterday."

"When was your birthday?" Kagome asked, feeling guilty that she hadn't gotten her anything.

"Six months ago." Was all Rin said before she jumped in the drivers seat.

Sango jumped in the passenger seat and Kagome put her stuff in the back and sat down next to it in the backseat.

Rin had the cover off the back of the jeep, so the wind blew the girls hair around them as she drove. She pulled into a gas station as said, "We need ice and pop. Sessy has the food and everything else."

They all jumped out of the jeep and walked inside, getting quite a few stares. Rin marched right over to the ice section and pulled a bag of ice out. She tossed it to Sango who panicked and jumped out of the way.

"Rin!" She exclaimed picking up the bag carefully.

"What?" Rin asked as she giggled.

"Ice is cold, and I'm not wearing a shirt!"

"Quit being such a baby." Rin said, turning back to the ice to grab another bag.

Sango grinned and walked over to Rin. She slapped the ice on her bare back, and Rin squealed, jumping away.

"Ah, okay, I believe you!"

Kagome laughed and said, "I'll get the pop."

She picked out several boxes of pop and tried sliding them across the floor to the counter while Rin and Sango held as many bags of ice they could carry without it touching their skin.

They all laughed at each other for being wimps, but continued how they were until four customers walked up to them. They were all very attractive guys, but had to be in their twenties.

"Hey, need any help with that?"

Kagome grinned gratefully at them and stood up while Sango and Rin handed the others the ice.

The four of them carried it to the counter and waited while the girls paid. Carrying it out to Rin's jeep, one of the guys asked, "What do you have all this stuff for?"

"We're just having a little get together with our boyfriends." Rin answered cheerfully.

"None of you are single?" Another one asked.

"Nope, sorry." Sango said as she got back in the jeep.

The four of them grumbled but put the rest of the stuff in Rin's jeep. Rin and Kagome got in the jeep as well and one of the guys handed Kagome a card.

"That's got all our names and numbers on it. Call us if you ever want to hang out." He said, winking.

Kagome grinned and said, "Thanks, but no thanks." She stuck it in the pocket of the guy's shirt and Rin drove away, giggling.

When they reached the house, Rin honked her horn loudly. A few minutes later Miroku, Sess, and Inu Yasha walked over from the backyard.

"Got the stuff." Rin said cheerfully.

Sess kissed her forehead and grabbed some ice and pop with Inu Yasha and Miroku and carried it to the backyard, where they had a table with chips and other food across it. The guys put the ice and pop inside a cooler next to the table. They were each wearing their swim shorts, Miroku's being purple, Inu Yasha's being red, and Sess's being orange. Kagome, Rin, and Sango followed them and removed their shorts when they were in the backyard.

Miroku was by Sango, staring at her hungrily. "That's a great swimsuit." He told her, winking.

Sango blushed and crossed her arms in front of her beneath her breasts, which drew Miroku's attention to them. He looked down at her cleavage and licked his lips. Sango stared at him, her anger growing till she finally pushed Miroku. He stumbled backwards and fell into the pool with a splash.

Rin and Kagome began laughing with Sango just did a victory dance in front of him. Miroku grinned up at her and grabbed onto her ankle when she got close.

"Ah! Miroku, let go, I'm not getting in the water yet." She said, trying to pry his hand off her.

Miroku grabbed onto her wrist with his other hand and pulled hard. Sango landed on top of Miroku in the water, dunking both of them. She came up laughing.

"You're such a dork." She told Miroku as she swam to the edge of the pool.

Miroku winked at her and pushed on her behind as she heaved herself out of the water. She yelped and jumped away from him, and Miroku just said, "I was helping you out."

Sango rolled her eyes and sat down on a beach-chair.

She dried herself off with a towel as Miroku watched her from the edge of the water and asked him, "Why aren't you with your parents?"

"They're making business calls all day. Yesterday was their only free day." He explained, still watching her.

Rin grabbed Sess's hand and pulled him to the water. "Come on Sessy!"

He followed halfheartedly, looking back at the food. Rin screamed, "Cannonball!!!" as she jumped into the water.

Sess smiled and lowered himself into the water slowly. Kagome laughed and walked over to Sango. She took a seat next to her and they both stretched the chairs out so they were laying down in the sun.

Inu Yasha walked over to Kagome and said, "Aren't you going in the water?"

"Maybe in a bit." She answered.

Inu Yasha stayed where he was for a few seconds before scooping Kagome up in his arms.

"What are you doing! Put me down!" She screamed at him.

Inu Yasha grinned and threw her into the pool.

When Kagome come up for air, everyone was laughing. Kagome tried glaring at Inu Yasha, but a giggle broke through. She hopped out of the water and walked back over to Sango.

"There, I was in the water. Now leave me alone."

Inu Yasha chuckled and ran over to her. He picked her up again and ran back to the water, jumping in. When they came up from the water, Kagome tried dunking Inu Yasha. Inu Yasha dodged around Kagome, laughing. He sunk beneath the water and grabbed onto Kagome's legs, setting her on his shoulders, so when he stood up, she was completely above the water.

Kagome tried getting off Inu Yasha, but he held onto her thighs tightly and marched through the water. "Inu Yasha, put me down!" She squealed at him.

Inu Yasha finally set Kagome down at the edge of the pool. She hurried off of his shoulders and stood up. He grinned at her and Kagome rolled her eyes, sitting back down next to Sango.

Rin, Miroku, Sess, and Inu Yasha played games in the water while Sango and Kagome stayed in the sun. Miroku threw water at the girls twice, but he stopped when Sango threatened to castrate him if he did it again.

Mrs. Go-Shinboku brought some sandwiches and other foods out for them, which they all gratefully ate. After that, Rin pulled a chair up next to Kagome, and the three of them did their best to ignore their immature boyfriends in the water.

Kagome turned to Rin and said, "Where's the bathroom?"

"Second door on the right, up the first flight of stairs." She told her.

Kagome stood up and wrapped a towel around her waist modestly. She walked inside the house and closed the door behind her, in search of the bathroom.

"Where'd Kagome go?" Inu Yasha asked when he realized she was gone.

"Bathroom." Sango called over to him, to lazy to even look up.

Inu Yasha nodded and then heaved himself out of the water. He strode inside the house in search for his babe in the bikini.

He ran up the stairs two at a time and found her as she walked out of the bathroom, securing the towel around her waist.

"Hey." He smiled at her.

"Oh, hi." She smiled back and walked over to him.

Inu Yasha hooked his arm around her waist and led her back into the bathroom.

"What are you doing?" She asked, giving him a curious look.

Inu Yasha smirked at her before pressing his lips against hers. He held onto her waist as she wrapped her arms around her neck. Inu Yasha licked at her lips asking for entrance as he tugged the towel away from her body. The towel pooled at her feet and he thrust his tongue inside her mouth. Kagome massaged his neck gently as their tongues laced around each other's. Inu Yasha slid his hands up and down her body finally stopping on her backside. He squeezed gently and pressed her closer to him. Kagome gave a very light moan, but Inu Yasha heard it and smirked. Inu Yasha pressed Kagome against the wall so she was stuck between two unmoving objects and slowly ran one of his hands down her leg. He grasped the back of her knee and brought it up to rest against his body, his semi-arousal pressing against her. Kagome gasped and pulled back, but Inu Yasha followed her, never releasing her lips. He pressed himself against her slightly harder, pleased when she moaned again. Inu Yasha kissed her fervently, memorizing the sweet taste in her mouth.

When he finally pulled back, he slowly lowered Kagome's leg to the floor, watching her closely as she breathed heavily. Lips swollen and face flushed, Kagome swallowed thickly and looked into Inu Yasha's eyes.

Inu Yasha grabbed her hand and led her back down to the pool. Kagome, feeling rather hot, jumped into the pool to cool herself down. She heaved herself out of the pool and walked back to her chair.

While Inu Yasha jumped into the water, Sango said slyly to Kagome, "You were gone for quite a while. Everything okay?"

Rin giggled and Kagome flushed.

"Just fine." She replied, not meeting either on of their eyes.

Sango and Rin cracked up, and Kagome bit her lip to keep from grinning.

As the day went one, the guys got bored without the girls to play with, since they wanted to sunbathe rather than swim. So when the sun began setting, they decided to watch some movies back in the house.
The girls changed into their spare clothes, and the guys just threw some shirts on. They walked into the media room to watch the movies, and Inu Yasha put on `The Ring', ignoring the protests of the girls.

"It's a scary movie!"

"Why can't we watch something funny?"

"I won't be able to sleep!"

Inu Yasha just smirked, sat down in a chair, and pulled Kagome down into his lap. She blushed slightly, but curled into him. Sess turned off the lights and sat in the other chair with Rin on his lap, as well. Miroku sat down on the couch with Sango next to him, but when the movie started, he grabbed hold of her and fell backwards, so she was lying on top of him. Sango struggled for a few minutes, but quickly buried her face in his chest when something scary happened. Miroku grinned to himself and wrapped his arms around her waist.

Miroku gently stroked Sango's back as they watched the movie, but his hand got lower and lower, until he finally tucked his hand into her back pocket of her jeans. Even in the dark Miroku could tell that she was blushing, and he squeezed her backside lightly. Sango squirmed above him, causing him to slide his other hand up the back of her shirt, massaging her bare skin. Sango blushed even more and tried to concentrate on the movie and not dwell on the way Miroku was sensually caressing her body.

Rin had her arms wrapped and Sess and was hugging him close to her. Sess grinned down at Rin when she squeaked again and covered her eyes with his hands. He kissed her forehead in reassurance.

Inu Yasha was placing gentle kisses on Kagome's cheek and neck, completely ignoring the movie. Kagome held onto Inu Yasha, watching the movie and enjoying his kisses.

Suddenly, the phone rang, causing all three girls to scream high-pitched screams at the top of their lungs.

After regaining hearing in their ears, Sess, Miroku, and Inu Yasha began laughing. It started out as a snort from Miroku, causing Inu Yasha and Sess to start chuckling, trying to hold in their laughter. But when Kagome squeaked, "Someone turn on the lights!" then they began laughing hard.

Sess jumped up and flipped on the light switch as Inu Yasha stopped that movie. Sango quickly pulled away from Miroku and sat up.

Rin ran over to Sess and said, "Lets watch something else!"

Kagome held a death grip on Inu Yasha's arm, finally asking, "Whose phone rang?"

Everyone grabbed at their cell phones to check them.

"It was mine. I missed it, though. Whose number is 555-0078?"

Inu Yasha blanched and grabbed her phone from her.

"What?" She asked him curiously.

"Kikyo." He said quietly.

"Whose Kikyo?" Kagome asked.

"My psycho ex-girlfriend."

Kagome grabbed the phone back from him. "I wonder how she got my number. Well, she left me a voice message."

Kagome played the message and suddenly paled. Inu Yasha was next to her in an instant and took the phone from her. He held her close to his body and listened to the message.

"Hello Kagome. You don't know who I am, but I know all about you. And I'm warning you right now, you better watch your back, you little tramp. Oh, Kouga sends his love."
