Want to know that my life is like?
Going to that Kami forsaken geisha house day in and day out Back-breaking work in the garden to make sure that I can take care of my mother and myself. Fending off perverted suitors. And some not so perverted, but boring or not worthy nonetheless. Keeping my identities separate, for if anyone were to ever figure out that we were one in the same, my life would never be the same.
My honor would be gone. I would be a disgrace to my family. No honorable man would want me. It seems as though I’m destined to be alone for the remainder of my life. None of the men around here appreciate a strong, strong willed woman who knows how to fight and do house work. These men just appreciate the latter and not the former. If there was one thing that I wanted more than anything in the world, other than a good opponent, it would be to find a good, strong, honorable, handsome, loving man to take me away from this life - these lives. That’s not too much to ask, is it? If only the Tale were true…
