A/N: (yawns) This isn't my computer os if there's any mess ups, it's not my fault. I don't own Inuyasha. This is a short chapter because it's just a little thing I'm adding because I want to add to Inuyasha and Kagome's charactors a bit.

Inuyasha walked out the building three weeks later and looked around. “I hate my job,” The hanyou muttered to himself as he pulled out a cigerette and lit it.

“You shouldn't smoke.” A young womans voice said from behind him as Kagome walked onto the balcony and stood next to him. “It's bad for you.”

“Keh.” Inuyasha looked away. “I don't need to be a doctor to know that.”

“Hm…” Kagome looked out at the mountains and sighed. “I'm going to miss the outside.”

“Feh. I'm not.” Inuyasha took a long inhale of his cigerette and exhaled, being careful to make sure the smoke stayed away from her.

Kagome turned to him, curious. “Why not?”

“People,” he said simply, flicking some of his ashes away.

“What about them?”

“They're assholes, kidnappers, con artists, theives, hackers, and just plain criminals,” Inuyasha sighed and began to walk away, flicking his cigerette off the side of the railing.

“We're not all like that, ya know,” she said softly, not turning around.

Inuyasha stopped and looked at her over his shoulder. “Sure your not.” She couldn't figure out wether he was being sarcastic or not as he walked away, back into the building, passing Sango as she walked out.

Kagome sighed again. “Have you figured him out yet?” She asked, looking to her friend for advice.
