15. The house.

Sure enough - the appearance of the youkai lord stirred up some tension in the village, but with both Sango and Inuyasha's help he was accepted as one of the "good guys" as Kagome so eloquent put it. And Inuyasha watched with a gaping mouth how his so icy brother took the young girl Rin into his arms, lifted her up and danced around together with the humans he otherwise despised so deeply.

- Sango, my love, wake me - because I think I am dreaming, said Inuyasha and pulled Sango into his arms.

- Inu-chan, I can clearly see a resemblance between you and your brother. You also had trouble showing what you felt deep inside your heart - did you not?

- That is true.

- Your brother has hidden his emotions as well, but now when there are no threat around he can show others what he feels about the little girl. And Rin has him wrapped around his finger, smiled Sango and looked back into her mate's face and kissed his cheek.

- I suppose you are right my love, but still…

- No buts mate, let him enjoy himself together with his daughter, we have done our part on this and I want to…[purr]… continue our little conversation, said Sango with a smile worthy of a certain monk.

- As you wish my wife, said Inuyasha and lifted her up to carry her away bridal style.

He decided to show her the house; all was finished, including the bedding for their futon. And why not bless their future bedding with lovemaking?

He tucked her face into his white haori and sped off towards their new home. He was a bit nervous also, what if she did not like it, and what if she thought it was horrible? He could hear her muffled sounds and smiled a bit.

- Please be still my love, I want it to be a surprise, he whispered into her ear and landed in front of the house.

Sango did as she was asked and was actually content by having her nose buried in his hard chest. She breathed in his masculine scent and almost moaned.

- Are you sniffing me Sango-chan? asked Inuyasha with a teasing voice as he sat her down on her feet.

- W-what? No, I just…

He silenced her with a soft kiss before turning her around in his arms and let her see the object of her curiosity.

Sango's jaw dropped to the ground. Inuyasha had with the help of the others - created the most beautiful house she ever had laid her eyes upon. Not even the spoiled king's palace was this beautiful. It had a porch all around and he had planted some pine trees in the corners. A small pond had been created and in it floated red water lilies and around it grew blue lilies. A few bushes of witches' hazel next to rose bushes grew here and there and Sango's mouth twitched up in a smile.

- Inu-chan, it is so beautiful, I love it, she said in one breathe and turned around and kissed him passionately.

Inuyasha felt a wave of relief hit him. She liked it - she loved it. He melted into her embrace and let his tongue dance with hers in a sensual dance. He reached down to grab hold of her kimono and moved it up until he cupped her behind and lifted her so she could lock her legs around his waist. He carried her to the front door and fumbled a bit before getting it open. He sat her down and looked into her blushing face.

- I love you Sango and I have something more than this house as a surprise for you, he said and took a deep breath.

- You sound serious, has something happened? Sango asked with a worried tone.

- Yeah, you could say that

Inuyasha felt his throat dry up and he cleared it up, trying to regain his courage.

- Youarepregnant, he haspled out.

- What?

He took a deep breath again.

- You… are…. pregnant!

…. Silence …..

Inuyasha felt his heart stop its beating as he looked down into her face.

- Please Sango, say something, he whispered on the brink to tears.

- I… I am pregnant? She stuttered low.

- Yes, from our first mating… I am… I am sorry Sango.

She chocked on a sob and latched herself onto his form, crying her heart out.

- I am so sorry Sango-chan, I am sorry.

- BAKA!! BAKA!!Don't be sorry, what makes you think I do not want a baby created from our love, she cried and banked her small hands into his chest.

- …

Sango sniffled and turned around in his embrace to stroke her lower belly with her hands. She was pregnant with Inuyasha's child and she smiled through her tears. His big hands were laid over hers and her smile got wider.

- Inuyasha, my mate, my husband - I would love to have this child.

- A-are you sure?

- Of course I am sure, this is the proof of our love my mate, she said and turned around again to look at the hanyou.

She lifted her hands to cup his concerned face and she pulled him down for a heated kiss. A kiss that Inuyasha gladly responded to. He lifted her up and carried her to their bedroom.
