“And that is the new song from Japan's number one rock singer InuYasha,” said the radio DJ.

 

Kagome turned her radio off. That song…it sounded so depressing. Well, it's no surprise since his girlfriend of three years, Kikyo, dumped him. He was so in love with her and then she broke up with him to go to another singer, Naraku. What a bitch.

 

She heard a knock on the door and her little brother, Souta, peered around it. “Hey Kagome, your magazine `Teen J-Rock,' just arrived,” he said.

 

Kagome went to him and took it. “Thanks Souta,” she said and he closed the door. She went to bed and plopped down. She began skimming it.

 

Then she saw a big headline that had her favorite singer's name. It said, “InuYasha will be in New York later this month!”

 

She began to read more. It said that he would be in Onyx, New York in Hopeville Arena. Tickets would go on sale early next week and that he would be performing later this month. It's already April second, so it would go probably on sale April fifth. And he would be here April thirtieth! Then it went on how to get backstage passes.

 

Kagome went to her phone to call her cousin Sango. She's a big fan of InuYasha, but not as big as hers.

 

“Hello?”

 

“Hey Sango, its Kagome.”

 

“Ah, hey. I guess you read the article?”

 

“Duh! Do you want to go?”

 

“Already have them.”

 

“Huh?”

 

“Yeah, my dad's friend works for Hopeville Arena and told my dad a couple months ago. My dad said that you and me are fans and wondered if he could get some tickets and backstage passes for him. Isn't that cool?” asked Sango.

 

There was silence.

 

“Kagome?”

 

There was silence.

 

“Kagome, you there?”

 

“Yeah.”

 

“Are you ok?”

 

“Yeah, I'm fine. Sango! Thank you so much,” Kagome's voiced cracked.

 

Sango smiled. She knew that this is big for Kagome. She deserved it. Kagome has a big heart and helps everyone without asking in return. Hopefully, while they're there, she would get to get more out of it than seeing a rocker perform.
