I hope you all enjoy it so far and I am sorry that in the last chapter there wasn't any Kagome appearances, but don't fret a hair on your pretty little heads this chapter has enough Kagome to make you sick. Chapter 3

Auditorium 9:25 a.m.

I told my band-mates the plan ,I had in stored for the school, to make it a show never to forget. I looked at our competition and let a heavy laugh escape my throat as I saw ,would-be rappers, Kouga, Naraku, and of course Sesshoumaru. I couldn't take the sight of my older brother dressed up as a "gangster-gangster" type and I felt as if my sides were gonna split open and my guts fall out. Kouga wore pants that were almost on the floor and I could see him struggling with them as they almost fell to the floor, as well as a baseball hat turned to the side. Naraku was wearing a pimp hat and wearing something that a butler would wear with a cane. Finally Sesshoumaru was wearing a tight skirt and a fishnet with a pink tank top and makeup. I laughed until I almost cried seeing my brother looking like a girl you would find on the street corner. Other contestants were Rin and Myoga acting out a scene from Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and Kagome and a friend of hers doing a duet of the song ,from No Doubt, "Don't Speak". Their song choice struck me as odd considering I thought she was rather prepish at the time. Sango came around wearing her glasses and hair up in a bun on her head with chopsticks through them. She also wore her Skirt and blazer making Miroku get googley eyed again. I was wearing a long black leather coat that reached the ground with rips and tears ,along with, my hair down and over my shoulders to my chest reaching as far as my belly button, my bracelets, necklaces, and black ripped jeans. I didn't have a shirt under the jacket and risked everyone seeing my chest. That was my mother's idea though to look more presentable to the crowd even though I am very self-conscious. Miroku had his hair spiked high and wore black paint around his eyes. He wore the same clothes as me and as well as Shippo. Shippo was different though, he had his hair brought over his eyes and flat in the back and had fake fangs put on his teeth. Kagura sat in the corner still, she was wearing her hair up in a strap, had on a black fishnet with a black bra underneath and a plaid skirt with long striped stalking. Miroku ,Shippo, and I all agreed that she was looking very well but they didn't want to say more because of them loving other girls. I did kind of like her look and new she looked great in it ,but I considered her more of a sister than someone I would go out with so I didn't dwell on it.

"Curtain call everyone!" Sango said with her usual optimistic attitude. She skimmed over us and looked kind of down that more people didn't sign up for it. She got to Sesshoumaru and tried to hold back a laugh at his ridiculousness, but failed miserably. His face turned pinkish and he looked at me like if I said one word he would kill me.

Kagura went up to him and poked his forehead. "You 're gonna have to show me some of your beauty tips you used." She jabbed making even Naraku begin to burst out laughing.

Sesshoumaru's face flushed with anger and he clenched his fist tightly. "You'd be wise to keep your tongue in your mouth woman!" he yelled. Everyone bit their lip and tried to hold back the tears of laughter from looking at him angry with the make-up on.

Sango looked at Miroku, " Seems as though we found you a girlfriend Miroku." she laughed slightly.

Miroku just smiled and hugged her. "I am so happy you agree. I have been very fond of you for sometime now." He said unflinchingly. Our jaws all dropped as she hugged him back and kissed his cheek. His cheeks busted out as red as tomatoes.

"That's so sweet of you Miroku….but I can't because you are a minor. And that is constitution for child harassment." she said to him as nicely as she could.

"Sango, what if agree and tell them that I do agree to being with you and want to be with you for the rest of my natural life?" He said with a clear head and a clear mind. She hugged him again holding him close to her. "I would like that Miroku……I would like it a lot." she replied.

"Awwwwww that's so sweet!" Kagome said cheerfully. She hit Kouga over the head. "Why don't you ever say things like that to me?" she said angrily.

"Ouch god! I didn't know you wanted me to! You should have said something about it!" He retorted with a snort.

"I shouldn't have to! Fine that's it Kouga its over! I have had enough of your disrespect for me!" Kagome said harshly. She stormed off to her dressing room to finish her make-up and the outfit she was going to wear. Kouga growled and looked at me standing there trying to understand what had just happened. "It's all your fault! All she talks about is you! It's because I wasn't there and you decided to play hero and get her out of that bus's way! You probably planned her being hit just to get to me! Now you must pay runt!!!" He yelled fiercely running at me with full force.

I had to make a choice in my mind at that moment, live or die. It's a choice I hate to make. He would kill me considering he is the strongest football player on the team, but only if I didn't fight back. If I would fight back I would win, but at what cost? My humanity? My life? My mother or friends? Thus bringing me to my conclusion……Time to take a stand! I took a deep breathe and waited for him to strike.

Kouga lunged at me with a fierce right hand, but somehow I knew what he was going to do and was ready for him with a small uppercut to his mid-section. He spit out blood and fell to the ground with a thud. Everyone gasped at what I had done knowing that I had never struck a person in over 9 years with the intent on hurting them. I felt like I had done something terrible and fled to the dressing room.

I ran into a small door that led to a room that appeared empty at the time. I sat in the corner and hoped they wouldn't find me in there. I held my legs into my chest and felt terrible. Although I did not cry or become as emotional as that I was very angry at myself for losing control. Whenever I became angry it was like an old Incredible Hulk Episode were I go nuts and can't control my anger and end up hurting someone. Then I noticed someone was crying in the other corner. It was too dark to see so I didn't figure out who it was at the moment.

"Who's there? Tell me now!" I said still a bit angry.

"It's me. Kagome Higurashi, please leave me alone I am not in the mood to speak to anyone right now." She said sounding more upset than I was. I walked over towards her voice and knelt down.

"Well I do feel like talking." I said in a low more calm tone. She figured out who I was and suddenly hugged me as tightly as Sango did to Miroku.

"Inuyasha…..I am glad that you are going to talk to me. Ever since you saved me I have been thinking differently, feeling happier, and all around finding myself. Because of your kindness I have a new way of living and a new respect for life. I figured you hated me though because of that time at the hospital, but I knew you were with your friends and just wanted to act tough for them. I know that's also what made me think of you more." she said sniffling into my shoulder.

"Kagome I hardly know you, but I am glad to have saved you so that maybe I can get to know you. I just clocked your friend out there and he might be out for awhile. I feel so terrible about it though, knowing he never had a chance against me!" I lied. I hoped she wasn't thinking I was going soft or anything.

"You're a terrible liar. I know you better than you think and I hope to know more. But right now we got a talent show to rock." She said with a wink and turned on the light. She was wearing a mini skirt and a black tank top. Her hair was down to her middle back and she had on big black boots. I stared with my jaw ajar as she walked out with a smile. She had looked ten times better than Kagura did.

I sat there for a little while then came out during the middle of her song. "Don't speak I know what you're feeling….I don't need no reason! Don't tell me 'cuz it hurts……Don't speaaaaakkkk." The emotion she was giving off and the sign language her friend was doing gave me a feeling that I had not felt in awhile…. " I don't need no reason! Don't speak don't speak don't speak yeahhhhh." she ended and the lights faded to black.

Kagura ran up to me. "Hey we're up next! Oh and don't worry about Kouga…he is fine just shocked a bit of how much a punch you gave him." she said with her usual pep. Kagome came down and smiled at me widely. "Good luck." she whispered into my ear as she walked back to her dressing room. "What was that about? She still fruity about you saving her?" Kagura said sounding a bit irritated. Miroku and Shippo waked up beside her and went "Ooooooooooooooooooo jealousy bugs!!!!!" She chased after them as I began to set up the stage. I grabbed a saw and hacked off my cast ,knowing it was perfectly fine to take it off, I tossed it in a bin and plugged in the strobe lights, mist machines, and amplifiers. I slipped on my other shoe and told them to stop goofing off. They acted like themselves and lined up like soldiers at attention. " Now… this is our show! No one else's! Got it?" I said like a drill sergeant. They nodded. "Good now lets play "Devour" and make it something they shall never forget!" I said boosting their morale. "Sir!" they said in unison.

I grabbed my microphone and they grabbed their guitars and drumsticks. "Now onward!!!!!" I yelled raising a fist in the air. The curtain slowly opened revealing all the people that were there, it was by far our biggest crowd we ever had. I felt nervous but I knew I could count on everyone to pull through so I placed the mic at my lips and began… " 1, 2, 1, 2, 3 Yeah!!!!!!" Kagura let out a hiss of her guitar and played slowly, Miroku strummed his bass hard as Shippo went into a slow tempo as well. " Still enough even though I ain't begging…Still as the thoughts running through your mind.. Not enough… even though I'm not drowning not enough to make you mine!!! I will devour you! Take all the pain away! I cannot stay my hand from reaching out so that I can empower you! I shall miss you now….knowing you brought meaning to my life…" I continued the song and the crowd seemed into it. Kagura slipped in a solo that wasn't in the original song but made it more interesting. The strobe lights went off during the chorus and the mist was pumping throughout the song. The whole stage was shaking as well as the students and teachers in their seats. Even old Kaede was smiling in her seat, but had her arms folded not wanting me to know that she liked the song.

Kouga rose up and looked around for the power switch. "You may have taken my girl…but I ain't letting you take my School!" he said throwing the switch down. The power was cut to our instruments, mic ,and lights. The lights went out and…..\\\\\\well that's all for chapter 3 sorry to leave you at a cliff hanger but I will tell you its worth it again….. I am lazy!!!!! There I said it… chapter 4 coming soon boys and girls!
