Hey sorry I haven’t updated in sooo long! I am OBSESSED with the twilight series lol. Well hope you like it! And thanks to the only person---again---for reviewing. *pouts* I want reviews!!!
That Ghost…
We had woken up when we heard the door downstairs open and someone walk in. When we noticed what position we were in we blushed and got up straitening are clothes.
“Wait in my room I’ll be right there.” He walked down the stairs as I stopped in front of his door and walked in.
I sat still on his bed waiting for him. I thought of what happened and what he said before we drifted to sleep in each others arms. Did he mean it? That I still had him? Would he be there for me every time I broke down crying? And why did I like it when he held me close to him like that?
My string of questions was interrupted when he walked in. He stood there in the door way staring at me. He shut the door and still stood there---just staring.
We locked eyes and just stayed glued to our spots. Then he looked down, freeing me from the intensity of his amber eyes.
He walked over to the bed and sat next to me. I wanted to say something but I just didn’t know WHAT to say. Why? Why couldn’t I find anything to say around him anymore? He was the first to break the awkward silence.
“So, you ok?” He blushed. I looked down and smiled. For some reason being around him made me feel fine. Like nothing had ever happened in my life---like the whole Naraku incident never happened. It was nice to feel that way once in a while.
“Yeah, I’m good. Now.” I smiled up at him. He blushed even more and smiled back shyly.
We just sat there again staring at each other. We must have been there for a while because what broke our little trance was his mother telling him to come downstairs to eat.
“I’ll be right back.”
“’Kay.”
And he left with one last glance at me. I fell back on the bed with a huff. Why was it so hard now---being around him---why couldn’t I even have a clue of what to say to him? I shook my head. No. It was fine. I’m sure ANYBODY would be dazed after THAT just happened to them. Yeah, that’s all. Tomorrow everything would be fine.

The next day it was easier. I could be around him with out thinking about what had happened between me and him the day before. The morning was as usual. He would step out to take a shower and brush his teeth and change in the bathroom and then come back to grab his bag and say bye.
I watched him Sesshomaru, and Shippou walk to the school. Then I remembered that we hadn’t said bye to Sango and Miroku yesterday. I wonder what happened. They must of just left after me and Inuyasha had our little ‘moment’. I blushed remembering what happened. He had said that I still had him and the way he held me close to him made me blush even more remembering it.
I put away the thought and thought about Miroku and Sango about how cute they looked together. I thought that they might be going out. But then again they didn’t exactly act like a couple. And he WAS such a perv naturally he would be slapped 6 times a day for grabbing her butt. If he was slapped only 4 or 3 times then something was REALLLY wrong with him. But then again they COULD pass off as a couple.
And Miroku did seem like he liked her---a lot actually. So did Sango. Ha! It was a relationship just waiting to happen!
The whole rest of the day I just sat there staring at the ceiling. Then I got up and floated downstairs. I floated threw the door and went to his school. I made sure that I was transparent before going out.
When I got there I went to his last period---math class. Or hell as he called it. I saw him leaning back on his chair. Staring at the board dumbly. I giggled and floated into the classroom. Making sure that I was STILL transparent before going in.
I floated to his side and sat on his shoulder. He must’ve noticed because he smiled and whispered hi low enough for only me to hear. I giggled very low.
His smile only widened. The teacher noticed his huge grin and asked him to come up to solve the equation on the board. He grumbled something under his breath. I thought I heard ‘stupid teacher’. I giggled low again and stayed on his shoulder as he got up.
It looked like he was fighting back a smile after that. The teacher gave him one of the markers. Inuyasha just stood there staring at the board stupidly. I tried to hold back my laugh as he just stared at the board. I remembered---after he had called Inuyasha to the board he had told the rest of the students to write the answer on their papers.
I leaned to his ear and whispered “Wait.”
I jumped off his shoulder fluidly and walked up next to a kid who looked like a math geek. I peeked at his answer, and made sure I would remember it when I told it to Inuyasha.
I floated back to perch myself on his shoulder again and leaned down to whisper in his ear again and told him to write down things before just plain out writing the answer. He put down the marker and then walked back to his seat whispering a low thank you. I smiled and leaned down to whisper in his ear again, “You’re very welcome.” He blushed.
I noticed Miroku on the other side of the room grinning at Inuyasha. He must’ve known that I had given him the answers by his change of expression when I first came in. Inuyasha looked at him and raised his brow in question. He mouthed ‘nothing’ and sat strait in his chair again.

“I knew it! That was Kagome who gave you the answer!” Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, and I were all walking home. I giggled at Miroku.
“So?” Me and Inuyasha asked in unison. I giggled again.
“Hey? Why are you always on Inuyasha’s shoulder?” Sango asked me.
“I dunno. It’s become a habit that’s all I can tell you.”
She giggled and I blushed. When we got to me and Inuyasha’s house I offered if they’d like to come in. They both gladly agreed. At first we just sat on the couch watching T.V. Then Shippou and Sesshomaru walked in. Me and Inuyasha’s eyes widened. Sesshomaru didn’t know about me.
“Inuyasha, Izayoi and Dad are almost home.” We said our good byes to them as they left. Sesshomaru stared at me.
“And you?” He asked raising an eyebrow...I guess it was time to break it down to him TOO. Me and Inuyasha sighed.
I told him everything. The whooole story. He just sat there as I told him my tragic, bizarre love story. Well I wouldn’t say LOVE story.
When I was done he asked me, “So you’re a girl who was cursed by this ‘Naraku’ 500 years ago?” I nodded. “I’ve heard of that story. I just never thought it was true. You have just proven me wrong.” He looked me up and down. Why does every dog demon do that when they first meet me?
“You might as well tell Izayoi and Dad, Inuyasha.” He mumbled after a while. I looked up from an ‘interesting’ tile on the floor and stared wide eyed at him. Inuyasha thought about that for a second.
Then I turned my wide eyed stare to him. He was rubbing his temples. He groaned, “You sure ‘bout that?” I turned back to Sesshomaru.
“They’re going to find out sooner or later.” He shrugged.
I sighed and Inuyasha turned to me. “He’s right Inuyasha. You might as well just tell them.” I felt like I was some girlfriend he was hiding from his parents. I blushed and Inuyasha stared at me confused when he noticed. “What?” I asked and turned away. He chuckled.
Sesshomaru got up, “So you’re telling them.” And he walked upstairs.
“Well I’m sure they’ll be fine---just maybe a bit shocked when they find out.” He looked at me. I bit my lip. “Okay maybe just a liiiittle more than shocked.”
“You think?” He said sarcastically. I scowled and he chuckled.
“C’mon. Let’s go upstairs and see how we’re going to break this down to my parents.” He grabbed my hand and tolled me up the stairs. I blushed. Why was I blushing? He was only holding my hand, and dragging me up the stairs to his room! Okay…that sounded wrong. I shock my head. Get a hold of yourself girl, I thought to myself. He would NEVER do that. Right?
A/N: Was that longer then any other chapters I’ve made? Lol. I hoped you guys liked it! And I want to say Thank you VERY much to Lil6ter for helping me improve my writing just a little.
