Chapter 18: What Happens The Morning After
The next morning, Kagome drowsily snuggled down into Sesshomaru's chest, completely content. She slowly opened her eyes and looked up at his face to find Sesshomaru staring at her, causing Kagome to blush a little.
"I like it when you blush." Sesshomaru told her, moving a hand to push her ebony hair out of her face and behind her ear, making her blush more. "Did you sleep well?" he asked, gently combing a hand through her hair.
"Yes, very well." Kagome said, burrowing down under the blanket and nuzzled his shoulder where his mark was. Kagome remembered something and lifted her head to look Sesshomaru in the eye. "You said that the mark showed up because you did something to take away my pain. If you do that again, will the wound show up on you again?" she asked.
Sesshomaru shook his head. "No. That only happened because of the circumstances." he said, placing both arms around her waist.
"Oh," was all Kagome could say as she resterd her head on his shoulder once more. They just lay there for a while, completely content to just stay there in the other's arms. Kagome suddenly felt Sesshomaru move his hands up and down her back and nuzzle face into her hair.
"I will never let you get hurt." Sesshomaru said solemnly, his voice slightly muffled by her hair.
Kagome, slightly startled by his statement, quickly lifted her head up and looked him in the eye. She lifted a hand and gently brushed his bangs away from his eyes. She slowly lowered her head and moved her hand to his shoulder. "Thank you." she said just before her lips came in contact with his.
Sesshomaru brought one of his hands up to the base of her skull to tilt her head to allow him better access to her mouth. He then thrusted his tongue into her mouth and gently ran his own tongue against hers. Sesshomaru slowly dragged his other had down her back and let it rest against her butt.
Kagome moaned into the kiss, running her hands all over his muscled chest. She finally had to break the kiss for air, but still trailed open mouthed kisses over his neck and chest. Kagome slowly stopped and hovered her mouth over Sesshomaru's. "We should get up for breakfast." she said, panting a little.
"I don't want to." he said, gently applying pressure to her back and neck to keep her down, but not enough to do any kind of damage. "I owe you a day in bed, remember?" he said, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"What about everyone else? Won't they be worried or something?" she asked, her hands placed firmly on his chest.
"What about me?" he asked, a mock pout in place. "Besides, I can let Rosuto know that we don't want to be bothered. She can take care of the children and your companions can help." Sesshomaru told her.
"And just what would we do all day?" she asked, cocking her head to the side in thought, causing some of her hair to fall over her shoulder. Kagome saw a smirk creep across Sesshomaru's face and suddenly found herself with her back against the bed and Sesshomaru hovering above her.
"I can think of something." he said right before his mouth became attatched to her nipple.
Kagome fisted a hand in his hair as a moan escaped her, the other hand gripping his shoulder tightly. She then hooked a leg around his waist and quickly flipped them over so that she was once again on top. "Who says you get to be on top all of the time?" she asked, running her hands over his body. Sesshomaru opened his mouth to say something, but was interrupted when Kagome's lips crashed down on his. She felt his hands on her hips lifting her up and then she felt the tip of his manhood at her entrance. Kagome tried to push down, to take him deep within her, but Sesshomaru held her up, teasing her with his hardness pressing lightly at her wet entrance.
Kagome broke the kiss and glared at her mate. "Don't tease me." she said, placing a hand on either side of his head. Kagome was taken completely by surprise when Sesshomaru suddenly slammed her down on his length. Kagome growled at him. "You don't get to control everything, either." she said, taking his hands from her hips and putting them above his head. "Leave them there." she ordered him as she slowly rasied herself up until just the tip was still inside her, then she dropped her hips back down.
Sesshomaru raised a hand, but was stopped by Kagome's hand pushing it back down. "Now who's teasing who?" he growled out.
"No one." she said, bringing her lips down on his to silence any further protest as she continued to ride him. Kagome broke off the kiss, but left her mouth hovering over Sesshomaru's. "No teasing me, and you can touch me." she said before she took his lips in another passionate kiss.
Sesshomaru quickly moved his hands to Kagome's back, but they moved just as fast to her chest to massage her breasts. Sesshomaru could feel his climax building within his loins and wanted release. He moved his hands down to her hips to help her piston her hips up and down.
Kagome could feel the spring tightening within her stomach once again and allowed Sesshomaru to acelerate their thusting with his demon speed. She released his mouth and made her way down his neck and to his chest, until she came to one of his male nipples. She looked up at him, and upon seeing him watching her, smirked before she bit down on his nipple.
Sesshomaru growled as his climax over took him and he held Kagome down on his shaft as he shot his seed deep within her.
Kagome felt him grip her tight and felt his seed being deposited within her womb, triggering her own orgasm. Kagome moaned loud and long as she felt her inner muscles grip his shaft and hold it deep inside her. Kagome broke off their kiss and rested her head on his shoulder, trying to catch her breath. "Damn. You're too much." she said, panting still. She yawned. "But that is a good thing." she said, slowly drifting off to sleep.
Sesshomaru smiled, a genuine smile, and brought the blanket back over them that had been tossed off with all their movements. He hugged her body to his own and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before drifting to sleep himself, a small smile still on his lips.
